Fairly priced pub with good food. Options to play ping pong and pool. With a private karaoke room available upon request. I ordered some beer (approx. £6.50) and a meat feast for around £13.50. Pizza's start at £10 and are freshly made(delicious). Plenty of seating and friendly staff. (Haven't seen this place late evening). They also have sports playing on tv screens.

We came in for our anniversary and had such a great night! We will be coming back. We played ping pong but unfortunately we didn't book karaoke in time so we will need to return to do that. The barman (I think he said his name was K) was absolutely brilliant. He made us lots of delicious cocktails. He is a credit to your team. Thank you!!

Great pub with good music, wide variety of drinks and decent selection of food! Great place to go with friends for an evening of fun! Do carry some form of photo ID to enter the pub. Also has a games hall with Ping Pong tables. The pub could benefit from providing more choices of vegetarian food. 👍👍

The place wasn't too busy and it was nice to sit and have a quick drink. The cocktails looked very impressive but didn't taste as good as they looked. We weren't there long but I would probably go back and try a different one another time if I was in the area.

This two floor bar in the heart of Stratford's Westfield shopping centre sits this leisure sports concept of ping pong and pool tables. Bat & Ball, is great for after shopping, work drinks and couples or group friends day/evenings out. The lower floor (entrance)has a rather large seated bar area with two sides, one for those coming for drinks and dining. The other side pretty much the same, but the other side you can feel the concept. When I arrived there were a few staff ready too greet guests as they entered - great to see that. So, I felt very welcomed here. I went upstairs to the area of the ping pong and pool tables, with multiple screens showing live sports also playing a variety of music classics genre. I ordered using the QR code for my table. As could see that the bar person was busy with a group. I had too give a 4 star rating only not getting 5 star because the WiFi reception is pretty poor. And took me 15mins too get a signal so could order via there app. The food was great, was served my pint in under 5mins and my food followed 5mins after. It was pretty busy when I arrived.

Had a few drinks and a classic hotdog. The portions were great and the service was amazing. Theodora was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and was very enthusiastic about the venue moving soon, and explained everything about it to us.

Nice atmosphere and nice food, which was served to our table very quickly. However, we had booked to play pool, and I would not recommend this location for that. They are way more focused on ping pong (and they have a really great set up for that), whereas pool seems like an afterthought, with only 2 tables which are in the way of foot traffic and pool queues of poor quality.

This is a sports bar which although it has many positives, I feel I cannot give 5* due to factors that the place did have control over and the way it handles conflicts. Booked in at quite an expensive price of 25 quid for the UCL final and there were five of us reserved. Getting in was a bit of a hassle as there was 2 lines for reserved and unreserved. Even then, it took ages. Pros: Decent atmosphere, drinks were good and OK priced, an OK amount of screens available. Cons: Food overpriced, bar was packed out very heavily, took a while getting into the venue but the worst thing was the way a fight was handled. A group of Liverpool fans and Madrid fans started fighting. Took over 5 minutes for the first fight to initially be handled, and then it escalated again after as the remnants of the groups then started fighting AGAIN 5 minutes later! This led to a very intimidating atmosphere. Overall: I would recommend this place but be wary that the way they handle some things is fairly poor.

Decent hour of fun playing beer pong. Staff were mostly nice and helpful. The receptionist of the pong section was frustratingly blunt however, and looked like she hated being there. This took away from the overall experience. 4 stars.

A very good place to socialize with your friends and colleagues. It gives a good mix vibes of cozy restaurant and club. They also have karoake nights at times. There are a good options of mocktails and vegan food too. I loved the loaded nachos and curly fries.

Been to this place a few times now for leaving drinks. Not too ridiculous on pricing and generally the staff are friendly. They sell the usual snack food, burgers etc etc which are ok but we erred here fir drinks mainly. We didn't play any ping pong. It can get busy. The security can be a bit over the top, they need to remember that if customers are tipsy, it's because they have been putting money behind the bar which pays their wages!

I love this place for karaoke, such a good atmosphere with friends/family. They also have other activities to do there such as pool and ping pong. I asked about the pricing of pool, extortionate. Better off going to your local pool place that’s only £1 for a game. (4 stars) Updated review: As I had a good experience I went back for my birthday for karaoke. I had a booking from 11pm to 12am (into my birthday). I was aware that 12am was closing time. I was reassured by a staff member that due to the previous group overrunning that we would still get our full hour despite it closing. As soon as 12am hit, security came in and informed we had to leave. We explained that we were told we would get the whole hour, we had around 10minutes left (the screen shows time left). He left stating he would give us 3 minutes and returned shortly despite us still having more time. Our karaoke session was cut slightly short with his disturbance. What a great start to my birthday, not! As we left, there were still customers at the bar and the staff who lied to us wasn’t in sight. Disappointed! (2 stars). I also wanted to add that they had a post on Instagram with a chance of winning a karaoke session for up to 12 mates. I was the only one that commented on the post and when I dm’d them on Instagram to ask if I won as I was the only one that entered, they deleted the post and did not respond! Further update: after posting my review I was contacted through Instagram and was told that this was a post that was put up in the summer so therefore was taken down as it was no longer running. The manager also emailed and apologised for the inconvenience that was caused on the day and also offered a discount for next time in return as a good gesture. I am happy with the management in dealing with the situation and hope to have a good experience next time (3 stars) Additional update: I returned with some colleagues and had a much better experience due to management resolving my previous issue which I appreciated (4 stars)

Great pub, good vibes, friendly staff. They have a fairly large selection of drinks at affordable prices. If you are going for food, I recommended their Neapolitan Style Pizzas! You can also go there to watch live sports, aswell as play table tennis, pool and beer pong upstairs, so there is plenty to do. There is a brand new private UV karaoke booth with over 20,000 songs - a perfect excuse to gather your pals and belt out your favourite tunes. Private hire is also available, you just need to contact them in advance.

Went for a game of pool with a friend, and the only issue of the night was when i ordered a disarrono sour, to receive a half empty glass with no foam or garnish. I let a manager know and they immediately apologised and replaced the drink with no issues, so no problem. Music is decent, prices are fair. Going individually is a bit dull, but for small groups makes for a fun evening

Came with some friends to celebrate my 25th, and it was a great night! We did pool, table tennis and then beer pong, so much fun. And I have to shout out to Sandeep, he took care of everything for us and was an absolute legend. Thank you man, you’re a real one x ✌🏼❤️

Overall was nice food and general place but a whole room of people booked to watch the Arsenal game and they didn't change the channel until 6-7 minutes had already gone and we'd missed the first goal. Not good enough for a sports bar.

While I loved the interior and excellent customer service, I wasn't excited about the food. I got the chicken avocado wrap that I personally didn't enjoy, but my friends seemed to like their choices. What we all agreed on though, is that the garlic bread could be better. It was way too thin and looked burned. I didn't take a photo of that and I wish I did, but it still was. Cool thing is that you are given 30 minutes to play ping pong! Overall, great place, would recommend 😊

Nice and lovely place.. Great a very warm staff.. Very attentive at the tables and always quick service. Security lady at the door, around 21.30..was not friendly at all and very very, unkind when asked why she stopped my Daughter..replied with a aggressive look. What's her age.. Well devided place, downstairs and great upstairs area with Bar on both floor. We had salads...it was ok..but I was expecting the Ceaser salad to be a little fresher..but every place has it's own style. We sat on the ground floor, to the back next to the way to the toilets.. Really really really nice lady serving us.. Well done made my night. Great also for shopping..all standard and top shops are around this Area..

I was in bat and ball two sunday's ago with my mate. The visit almost turn sour with some guys being racist, the aggrieved guys asked them to step/come out and fight but the security guy in charge stepped in and made a very bad situation turn to a state of calm and peace by making them to re evaluate their actions. It could have been worst or even a possible free for all fight. I think big security guy applied top diplomacy to reassure the aggrieved and totally de-escalate the situation. Also want to say the service generally was great and love the marinated chicken wings

Love this place! Nice social place to hang out and play pool or ping pong. Very lively atmosphere inside and they have available tables most of the time although during the evenings it can get very busy. The food was also nice we ordered some pizza, fries and drinks and ate and played. I also ordered some dessert (Fruit Sundae) which was absolutely exceptional - probably one of the best sundaes that I have had. The only drawback for me was the loud blaring music in the place which makes it hard if you want to concentrate on the game, but there are plenty of people there! All in all, the first time I have visited and most likely I will be going there again either with some friends or during a work night organised by the company.

Such a great place !! I had the time of my life ! We arrived there early in the afternoon and played ping-pong for an hour. It’s a great way of spending the afternoon, it changes from the usual pubs. We then went downstairs for cocktails and food. I highly recommend the ribs ! So tasty ! I will definitely come back for the food and for the ping pong.

On a Friday before xmas it was harder getting in here than on a prison visit - even as a couple and when it was half-empty - but you're not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to boozers in Westfields. This was the first time I had my picture taken and a name ID check to get into a pub. Table service downstairs worked well, and good sounds in the upstairs bar were worth getting a closer ear too. Closed at 1am and didn't mess about getting u out quick.

Great venue for sports lovers. Excellent choice of beer and great food make for a fun visit, whether to watch a game on the big TVs or play ping pong etc upstairs. Big outdoor seating area has been added since pandemic, so now even better seating options, and you can order and pay via an app which speeds up ordering at busy times.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We sat outside and so didn't make use of any of the ping pong or pool table facilities so couldn't comment on this. The bar snack menu is ok and the pulled pork hot dog I had was nice. Reasonably priced. Bar service or app ordering for table service... However, as my brother ordered I didn't take a look at the range of drinks. Toilets also ok but limited sinks to toilet ratio - clean though.

All good doormen were polite and lady on reception was polite. One man spilt his drink on the floor and asked for it to be cleaned up and the young girl just chucked some kitchen roll on floor and walked off, and didnt come back for half hour and when she did she still left it there, she also dropped a fork on the floor and put it back in the cutlery. Such a shame as a good place. Nice beer and bar staff great, very polite.

Disappointing visit. Most of my wife's choices were off the menu. Settled on a pork dog each. Luke warm frankfurter in a huge white bread roll sitting on top of curly fries. Brew dog beers were very good and served by very pleasant girls. Service charge was added and amounted to over 10%. Certainly would not entertain another visit. Foul language filtered down from the upstairs games area which was also disconcerting. 3 stars due to the service from the young ladies.

We were fortunate enough to book a table for the Euro 2020 final - England v Italy. We had never been to the Bat and Ball before but we were all pleasantly surprised by our experience. The atmosphere was electric and the staff could not have been more friendly - including the door staff who have been criticised on previous reviews. I would especially like to mention both Agnes and Philipa (apologies if I have spelled incorrectly) - both ladies had excellent customer service skills and made our night even more enjoyable - they’re a credit to the company. I will definitely be recommending your venue to friends and family. Thanks for a great night and enjoy your golden lion 🦁!!

Booked a table for the euros (£40pp). Limited menu for food and drinks which wasn't mentioned when booking and hard for a veggie! The screen also kept blacking out and freezing multiple times throughout the game - devastating experience for the semis! Also a blonde lady who was serving the section spent the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half sat down chatting to her mates while nobody in our section was being served. Very frustrating when you've got £160 worth of things to finish ordering! I think the other lady (brunette) was on a break, and when she came back it was a huge relief. Sorry I don't her name but she was great! Good atmosphere but massive shame about the screens freezing and limited menus.

Great for families - we had 3 kids with us (6, 4, and 5 months) and had no issues. We will definitely go back for the pizza!

You need to have your ID to get in, don't forget it! If you're visiting London, your passport will do. The guard even accepted a picture of a passport on someone's phone but I don't know if that's standard practice. It's a fun place. We came here for the Karaoke room. It's around £10 per person for an hour which isn't bad. The database of songs is good and you can have a pitcher of water in your room if you get thirsty. The room can get warm. It fits 5 people comfortably, 8 or 9 is a bit tight.

Quite pricey, the pizza we had was near to nothing, as there was mostly base, tomato sauce and some mozzarella, when it should have had many other things (scarcely thrown on it). Not impressed. Also, expect 12.5% service charge to be added to your bill, which was not pleasant. Though I saw that it is something usual these days. Also, I didn't appreciate that the waitress was literally marching up and down the 4 tables she was serving, as she had nothing to do and asking every now and then if everything was ok. Well, it would have been...if I could have had my bite of food without being interrupted and feeling like I was under supervision. I won't go there for sure. But it is great for drinks, I saw they have a big bar, if that is of any help.

I ordered a glass of wine, and when told the total (10.25ish) I asked if service was included so I could tip. The waitress said no and bought over the receipt then abruptly left. From that point on no waitress came over to ask if everything was alright, I couldn't get anyones attention to order food and in the end I just left, a little shocked and hungry. I explained to the waitress when leaving why I asked if service was included and she was surprised and looked embarrassed. I like the place, but the service is not good. I got to one side of the bar and waited probably about 10min until someone give me a sign that they noticed me. The bar lady was busy, but not that busy, wasn't crowded or anything. She just needs to look around from time to time and make an eye contact as a confirmation that she knows I am waiting and she will help me when she is done with the beers which she was pouring. Eventually I moved to the other side where a barman was making cocktails. I waited again for 10 or maybe 15 min. I was in front of him, I know he knew I am there,yet no eye contact,no greeting,no any sort of reasuarance that he will help me as soon as he can. I think that's really bad service. As much as I like some places,when the service is bad, I don't want to go there again. When somewhere I get good service, I like to go again and again because it makes you feel more special and is just nice when someone greets you with a smile. Therefore 0 star for service,5 star for the place because they have Lafroag and the average is 3 stars... because of the scotch actually :)

I had a raspberry vodka slush it was around 10 pound but was really nice. Also you don't need to be too dressed up which is nice as there is not too much pressure.

Shoutout to the security team at this venue. Been to many places where security feel like they can abuse their power and rights. But the lot at bat and ball were great! So friendly, yet authoritative. They were polite and friendly when we came in amd it was easy to have a conversation with them. Respect to the big asian guy who helped by getting a few guys to move from our ping pong table when they were drunk and just acting like they were supposed to be there. He explained to us very politely that they will not come in our area and that he'll keep a close watch on them. Generally had an amazing night. Drinks were a tad pricey but service was on point.

Nice idea but they give out disposable plastic cups for every drink. At a live venue there is some justification for safety reasons but here the plastic waste is ridiculous. I spoke to a barman and he said they throw away about 6000 plastic cups a night. FANTASTIC food, service, drinks and music choices! Plus a great night of ping pong fun! We had our local M&S staff party at this venue and it was the best one we have had for years! Chevas, the Events Manager was outstanding. We met a couple of times before the night to discuss food and drink options. Chevas even decorated the venue for us! We booked out the entire top floor for the night for a reasonable price. Hugely recommend this place for a casual night out or an event! Thankyou Bat and Ball !!!

So my friend organised something here a little while back. When we arrived nothing was ready, no table, food or drink. However a member of staff Alex made all the difference. If it were not for him we wouldn't have got anything. He cleared our reserved table, sorted our drinks, cleared the table tennis area and brought our food to us. I would have thought he was a manager with how he dealt with everything if it were not for the bars t-shirt. After all the issues we did have a good night, it does get a little overcrowded at times though.

Great place to hang out, decent food, decent prices. Downstairs is set up for drinks and food, upstairs is a play-room with lots of ping-pong tables, flippers etc. Sport screens everywhere too. Thumbs up!

Told not pool tables fully booked despite getting there at 8pm. Pool table in front of us is then empty the whole night till midnight... Staff are nice but seem hampered by odd processes. Rest was as expected very meh.

Great place, although door staff can be funny at times. There is a chap called Alex from the ping pong staff who is always super friendly and welcoming and always has a smile. I suffer from anxiety and find it hard socialising in places like these but Alex always makes me feel at ease. He is an asset to the Bat and Ball team. I wish I could say the same about the door team as one of them in particular is very inappropriate and unprofessional. I wont specify who it is as I believe the team is aware of who I am talking about but I feel that you should vet your door staff and give them training on what is professional.

This toy shop is the best I have seen for a long time. A large range of toys for all ages and the prices are not expensive for what looks like quality items. To top it up they had a lot of items on sale which was really worth it.

This is a great bar, with a good number of screens for watching sport, and table tennis and beer pong tables available. The music is a little too loud and it's a bit expensive, but good range of beers and good cocktails.

Bar come restaurant situated in Westfield Stratford mall. Nice decor, service and staff uninspiring. Honestly, actually surprised it was so busy as I felt beer prices were extortionate. Maybe food is exceptionally good. No idea.
