Was met by a beaming smile as soon as we walked in, later found out it was the manager Felix. Every question I had about my drinks was answered. He recommended some new drinks that were on the menu and they turned out to be just how I like my drinks sweet, sexy and fun!! Would definitely recommend coming to this Be At One

Stopped off at this bar last Saturday (26th Feb) before going to a concert at the O2 Islington. Everyone working there was great, especially Shona! Great bar, great staff, great selection of drinks and a great night (or day) for all occasions. I have been into this bar on an evening and for some day drinks and the atmosphere has always been amazing. The staff are very accommodating and always have a smile on their faces when serving, Jemma looked after us last time and the service was A*. The music makes it a great vibe also. I cannot recommend this place enough and will be attending again very soon!

The place had a great atmosphere and an all round happy vibe. The bar staff were all up for a chat and were very attentive, we didn’t have to wait long at all for our drinks! What a great place to go to 🧡 I’ve been to a few and At One Bars and this one is definitely doing what is supposed to do (unlike the BOOMER (@Artemis_Encore) who left a horrible review just because he’s a bitter person, I mean, who even leaves bad reviews in CHURCHES???? Clearly someone who didn’t appreciate the great customer interaction and amazing atmosphere at the bar and someone who is just bitter). Love the staff last night and loved how even if they were too busy and your drink would take a while, they would still let you know and apologise for it. Amazing night for sure with my friends and will definitely come back in the future 🧡

Went here to have a last drink after a night out on Angel. Really nice doorman, which set the mood for the rest of the night. I went on a Saturday night. The place was lively and full of young people having a great time. No bag vibes, no egos just people out to have fun and enjoy their night. Bar staff are friendly and easy going. Drinks are well priced compared to other establishments near by. The place is perfectly lit so you can sit at tables and have an intimate conversation, or be on the dance floor living your best life!

Nice local pub. Good selection of beers. Try the Three Hop, nice craft lager from Caledonian Brewery or Lagunitas, American IPA. If you prefer a bit less stronger taste of your IPA, Maltsmiths is for you. All of the above delicious anyway 👍

Nice enough for a pre cinema drink but wouldn’t rush back. It was busy which created atmosphere but there’s minimal seating and the toilets weren’t particularly well looked after. Toilet roll was simply placed on the bin and everything was a bit grimy. Certainly didn’t make me want to order any food! They also only had two beers on draft, with three others unavailable.

A nice, tidy, clean and cosy little battle cruiser nestled in amongst the many other eateries and watering holes peppered along the length of Upper Street. I popped in to see a couple of my pals brave the open mic night and found the bar staff to be both polite and attentive, as indeed they should be but if you're a Londoner like myself you'll know that to expect good service is a recipe for frustration and disappointment - so well done girls, I felt like a welcome and valued customer! Food looked great and smelled even better, although I didn't eat myself. Beer was chilled to perfection and brilliantly bubbly. I can only speak for the fellas here but the little boys room was sanitary and 'sans' stink, always a bonus in a London boozer. If you fancy a break from the chain run big'ns and appreciate a casual, comfortable pub that isn't trying to be anything other than 'a pub' then check it out. Look out for free live music in the form of open mic nights and other intimate and more low-key performances - posters & flyers will tell you what's on and when. I'd definitely visit again and intend to soon :)

Simple pub. Unbelievable service gave it a five star. I've spent most of my life stuck behind a bar, and I know the easiest thing to ignore is banter. But the gent serving us on Tuesday afternoon was a diamond and a credit to the establishment! We only had a few pints of IPA which were delicious and reasonably priced (for London)

A pleasant and pleasantly uncrowded pub on Upper Street. Friendly bar staff provided a slightly better than usual range of lagers and IPAs but sadly all but one of the ales were off - hopefully just bad timing rather than a sign of things to come. It was nice to see that bloody Meantime, London's least interesting brewery, wasn't available. Food was fine, but overpriced for what it is. My avocado and edamame salad had a lot of lettuce and not much avocado or edamame. The general layout and atmosphere, decent quiet music and absence of TV are all plus points. The area has many pubs, many of them quite good, but almost all of them at the loud/busy end of life. If you need a quieter pint that's a bit more sophisticated than the Old Red Lion, this is a good bet.

You're meant to be able to play few basic board games but we found the range lackluster and many parts missing. It's a nice place without this element and I'd be happy to visit without wanting to play any games.

The first time I visited this place I didn't like it that much. But that was a while back. I think since then its changed and I like it. Its growing on me. Its open late even early/mid week which is awssome. Fair selection of booze. Well they have an IPA or two, wine, a couple decent whiskeys and gin. What more do you want. The interior has a cosy feel. It was a glorious day. We had walked from Tower bridge to Limehouse basin and then along Regent's canal, stopping at Broadway market, which is wonderful, before continuing our stroll to Angel. In need of alcoholic beverages we chose this pub because it wasn't full of rowdy football fans. And , although a bit in need of TLC, it had a nice atmosphere with people of all ages having fun. Friendly bar staff, friendly people and Birra Moretti, what more could you wish for! Angel Islington is a nice place, lovely shops and pubs, restaurants and cafes galore.

This place has a nice buzz on Thursday-Saturday nights, the cocktails are 2-4-1 during happy hour but most aren't all that good (except the expresso martini which is nice). The service is very mixed but largely not that good, the food doesn't look great but you're really there for the atmosphere and the decor which is a very cool layout - especially the front booth which we've nabbed a few times. The thing that annoys me most about it, is the door says BRUNCH in big letters above it as you enter, but they don't serve anything of the kind and during brunch times it sort of becomes a quiet old man's pub... Not well advertised!

I wish I could give this a 3,5 stars. Had the classic burger and fries lunch offer at £6.50 and I would say it was pretty decent. The burger meat and buns looked dry, however the burger overall did taste nice. The burger sauce they use tastes really good. The size of the burger was a bit bigger than an average burger. The side of fries seemed a bit small. A few more fries would have felt like a full meal without needing something on top. You get a glass of soda/soft drink as well. I had the mini churros for dessert. Pff, they were absolutely delicious! Crunchy on the outside, filled with caramel sauce on the inside and you get a little pot of caramel sauce to dip the churros in, just perfect. I will definitely try their other lunch options.

Don't get me wrong I like a good craft beer, but sometimes nothing cuts you like a well mixed Sazerac. Makes me feel like an aged bond villain celebrating another successful heist and the ice clinking against the clear tumbler almost make the drink seem colder... more refined... more MANLY!! And that's not even the best thing... come at happy hour and you get TWO of these bad boys for the price of one.... TWO!! That's double bond villain time!!

Thanks to the dark haired lady manager tonight who was incredibly unfriendly and pretty much just told us to get the hell out at 6.10pm just for having a three month old baby, yes it's our first child so, yes we want to hold onto a tiny bit of our old life, but I'm sorry if it was my birthday (I'm the mum) and I'm sorry for asking you at the bar if the ridiculously tiny toilets can fit over weight ladies, as I had tried to fit into one myself, heavily pregnant a few months earlier, and very embarrassingly got very stuck. The bar upstairs is closed on Sundays as it's pretty quiet but the the music (hits from 70s-00s) gives it a great atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious and varied, the bar staff excellent. They went above and beyond their responsibility to make sure we (20 y/o students) had fun. I would recommend sitting at the bar to talk to them!

The saturday night bar vibe I've been looking for! They play music that you'd sing along in shower and get everyone on the floor. When songs I haven't really heard play, I was shazaming them. Visited recently and was amazed. The staff were so friendly and the range of drinks they have is crazy. The bar tenders were able to help us choose based on the flavours and spirits we enjoyed, and created a fun atmosphere while they made them. The venue itself has a modern feel with LED light wall and cieling! We were served by Emily, who was so fun and bubbly, they were able to push our experience to top tier. Highly recommend visiting!

What a venue. I've previously been to different Be at One bars in London, but the atmosphere in the Islington site is definitely right up there. The bar staff are super friendly and fun, and are clearly passionate about making cocktails, as is clearly reflected in the quality of their drinks. All of the staff really know how to start a party! I will 100% be returning :D
