Reviews of Bedales of Borough Market
f. f.
Nice wine bar, good atmosphere, staff very friendly.
Could have a better selection of wine by the glass and didn't have all cocktails on the menu, but with really nice food, it was very nice.
C. R.
A really quirky wine bar with nice snacks. Serving was very friendly and we enjoy the setting outside (yet inside Borough Market). The trains can be a bit noisy, but add a charm to the atmosphere
A. S.
Fantastic from start to finish!!!! I requested window with stall seats, they delivered. Service was exceptional, the Manager on duty was excellent with wine recommendations, so friendly but still had time to make sure the rest of the room was well managed . My partner had a few allergies/request, they already have a pre printed menu with all details that was so helpful. Chef made some special dish/board not on the menu to accommodate. Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon, highly recommend.....make sure you book.
C. E.
Perfect place for a bottle of wine, cheese, people watching and a cozy afternoon.
Lovely location right by Borough market.
Staff was a little slow and the place is a little too expensive for the food they offer so only 4 stars.
B. O.
Stumbled upon this remarkable wine bar by luck last night only to be greeted by very friendly hosts and staff. We were served by Mike last night and he was genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. We sat on the top outside bar which was abit noisy due to the trains but if you don’t mind that then great place to enjoy good quality wine and friendly service.
J. A.
We went to Bedales about 2 weeks ago for the first stop on my partner's birthday bar crawl and it was phenomenal!
I messed up the time so we were quite late, and we were still given a gorgeous table and a glass of bubbles for free to celebrate his birthday - which we were so very grateful for!
A big shout out to Mike and Namik who both were AMAZING! Gave us good food and drink recommendations and were just impeccable vibes - great energy!
Thank you Bedales!!!
L. B.
The staff were lovely. Friendly. Knowledgable about the wines and very good at their jobs ! Bravo team. The food was yummy too. It would have got 5 stars if We were sat inside. The terrace is lovely. The heat lamps and blankets provided are perfect for a chilly eve. It’s just the trains going over head. Makes convo at times a little strained with the noise. But other than that I would highly recommend this place.
M. L.
The wine was lovely and our waiter was great. The member of staff responsible for seating was rude. I booked a table for drinks for 3 for pre dinner drinks for an hour. There were 4 in our party but the staff member on the door was rude telling us there was no space for an extra chair. They behaved as if we had put them out for asking for an extra chair for an hour. I'd been to Bedales many times before and received good service and delicious wine so recommend this for my friends. I was a bit embarrassed that having recommended it to a group and being faced with that on arrival
D. W.
Atmospheric wine bar in Borough Market. Excellent selection of wines and a varied menu of sharing plates, all beautifully cooked and tasty. Quick and friendly service by charming staff.A superb bottle of Montepulciano made for a hugely enjoyable pre-theatre supper
G. D.
So happy to back!
Asked to change table, no issue at all.
Helped with wine selection. We said what we liked and we were recommended 2 wines, one being the cheapest.
Knowledgeable and passionate staff. Each order we were explained what we were having and why it was interesting.
Huge thanks to all. X
And a special mention to Roi who was particularly kind and gave us a taste of something that we had never heard of.
See you soon.

Lovely evening at Bedales. The upstairs outdoor area was cosy and warm with blankets and heat lamps. Friendly, helpful staff. A great place to have drinks and nibbles with friends. Great range of drinks and tasty food. It is now our usual meeting point in Borough market.

From the moment I stepped into Bedales there was a buzzy atmosphere. Was greeted with a smile (could tell even with a face mask) which made me feel welcome. Of course you come here for the wine which did not disappoint. Service was perfect with again lots of smiles and attentive service. All in all a very memorable visit and will definitely be visiting again.

Our rime at Bedales was overall good , The ambiance, and cheese were great. There were just a couple of things that soured the experience. We were never shown the wine we had chosen , nor offered to taste it - it was just poured. The third bottle we had was served in an ice bucket with an apology that it had been in the fridge for an hour … but boy was it was warm !
Mostly though .. it was when the waiter came
At 10:30 and asked if we wanted anything else as they were closing in half an hour. Upon saying no thanks …two minutes later someone else arrived at the table with our bill and card machine and told us they were closing in ten minutes and asked who was paying the bill. At the same time the music was turned off and I felt like we were being forced out before finishing our wine ….
R. B.
We were well looked after by the staff and there was a good selection of drinks. My friend and I opted for the self driven wine tasting option for £25 which gives you a glass of fizz, 3 types of wine to try and some snacks - this is great value. The only negative to the time we went was the noise from trains and cleaning vehicles in the market. Given we were sat upstairs and outside this did make conversation a bit hard at times.
E. A.
A lovely wine bar within the market. Wine and neebles...
S. R.
Great wine bar. Excellent selection of wine and great recommendations - for someone who doesn't love a white I received great choosing advise. Also tasty tapas to go with it. I had some olives, bread and cheese and all were great. I'd definitely pop back in when I'm next in London.
C. E. J.
Lovely place with great wine options and incredibly helpful staff. Shout out to Kat who made wonderful recommendations that we really enjoyed.
T. G.
The overall atmosphere in Bedales is lovely - there’s always great wine and nice food, plus the staff is ever so friendly & helpful.
This is why Bedales, is one of my TOP/Go-to places to go out and meet with my friends!
O. D.
I went to Bedales for a friend’s birthday! I got stuck on the tube and was late for my booking with no way of contacting the restaurant but they were SO good! So helpful! Organised us a LOVELY table anyway and the wine/food/view was amazing. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back!
A. M.
Had a great time at Bedales, Lunch was great and the wine recommendation was perfect. Special credit to Rui, he was just great and I will definitely come back.
L. H.
Food was fresh, wine was also good, alternative venue overlooking Borough Market however rather pricey for what you get portion wise - just london I guess
W. B.
Great place to relax over a glass of wine or cocktail. The balcony overlooking Borough Market is an added feature.
C. M.
Really great selection of wine, lovely staff and good atmosphere. Love the new upstairs terrace overlooking Borough Market. Really nice spot for catching up with friends as its not too loud. Always a pleasure!
A. K.
Full Review on WineJam Instagram! Wooden horse stable decor with large vaulting glass front, Wine bar inside with eating area for 6 tables or so, outside seating 4 small tables, good selection of wine but concern by the preservation system in use, rosé flat towards the end, very much after work colleague drinks, fly in and out bar. Winejam out!
B. A.
Fabulous setting on the terrace, overlooking Borough Market below. Lovely service, delicious wine and olives. We are coming back soon for lunch with a view!
E. L. B.
Staff is great, Prosecco was awesome, food (we had duck rillettes) was average, but the bread was good (and lovely salty caramel butter that came as a surprise, yummy). Only thing that makes me put 4 stars is that door downstairs that is always open and letting the cold air get in…
P. S.
Great venue and wines as usual. But disappointed to see the restaurant menu has become a snack menu only. This means in future I may only go to Bedales for early evening drinks before eating with friends elsewhere.
C. R.
Nice place! Plenty of wines on offer. The menu is a bit limited as they are truly a wine bar with more of a tapas menu.
R. G.
Preferred the way it was before they changed a couple of years ago. It had atmosphere - now its like hundreds other wine bars. Shame.
A. S.
Nice wine bar in borough market. Quite expensive but nice wine. The cheapest glass was £7, with most glasses being around £9. The wines we had were very nice however any they had a huge selection, including natural and Orange wines! They also had small bite to eat which seemed reasonably priced but we didn't eat here. Overall I would come back and would recommend it to any wine lover in the area!
G. R.
♿️⚠️ Step on entrance to the shop, quite tightly seated due to the age of the building.
We came here on London wine week and were greeted with smiles as they introduced us to what they have on offer. We went with the £5 offer they have going for the exclusivity of the week for LWW, the wines were great and we also had a nice little wine quiz albiet im not the best at wine quizzes! All in all its a great wine bar with amazing looking charcuterie boards!
J. D.
Top spot for a late evening meal after a long day drinking in the sun. Service was excellent and the food delicious.
K. S.
Really recommend their wine flights. You can have them pick you a selection of wines for your palette. We went from white, through oranges and roses to a gorgeous deep red. Each one was perfectly selected to bring you something new and different will definitely be back again.
One bad part of it was I picked outside on the balcony during the end of the market. It was hellishly loud and noises as they cleared up. Couldn’t hear yourself think let alone enjoy the wine.
C. S.
Excellent service (and very quick), great recommendations from our waiter and lovely atmosphere. We all loved it.
P. B.
Fantastic little wine bar in Borough Market. Get a table at the back (inside the market itself) and enjoy the atmosphere of the market sat near all the wonderful meat and cheese stalls.
The staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended
D. S.
Had a team lunch there and this place was perfect. Great table with a view over the market, really prompt and warm service, and the food was spot-on. This place has a great vibe and highly recommend.
A. C.
Wine was delicious and fairly priced. We felt the food was very overpriced for the portions, I appreciate that the quality of the produce is high, however £40 for a charcuterie and cheese platter with 2 slices of bread is obscene. Also disappointed to be seated out on the market grounds on fold out chairs with no heating or blankets on such a cold evening when we had booked a table in advance (with no notification that the table was outside).
D. M.
Really good date spot. Excellent wine and knowledgeable staff. Tapas plates perfect to accompany the wines. Certainly going again.
A. R.
Cozy place, good selection of wine, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I can come here any day of the week and feel at home!
J. C.
Top place with excellent wines.
Slightly on the pricey side of the wine force although service is great.
C. S.
Small and warm wine bar. Didn't eat this time but great to have a drink within the hussle and bussle of Borough Market.
Knowledgeable staff directed us to a delicious Spanish Red and the passion with which he recommended this wine was comforting. Strong recommendation for a drink at BM
C. N.
Tried the orange wine . Staff have great knowledge of their wines
C. F.
Extensive collection of wine with delicious food. Location is right in Borough so perfect for a stop off whilst shopping. Tom made our night incredible and even introduced me to some fabulous new wines. Very knowledgeable staff, can’t wait to go back!
T. A.
If you're in the market and fancy wine this is the place to go.
Excellent choice of wines combined with a passionate team
A. R.
Great place! So happy they’re back open and so friendly all of the staff that have returned!
P. P.
I had a great experience buying wines today. Excellent brands and special help from Ernesto, he is a truly Sommelier. Highly recommend, thank you so much Ernesto!
J. J.
Lovely place to have a drink and a bite to eat. The staff are wonderful. Super professional, on top of things and incredibly welcoming. The burger was an absolute winner. Meaty but loads of flavour. The burrata was superb with the subtle addition of nuts and the fries though extremely skinny were packed with salt and rosemary. We also had the toastie which was rich and flavoursome without being sickly. Great stuff. Highly recommended.
P. W.
Always great friendly service. The wine we chose was rated 4.1 on Vivino.
A. B.
Very clear policies on social distancing, although the outside seating was under a railway line - looking forward to coming back when sitting inside is a possibility! Had a lovely Syrah and a superlative port, priced very reasonably for both the quality and the area. Very friendly service. Would recommend to others!
C. A.
Social distancing measures really well respected and enforced. Absolutely delicious wines, we had Tom, really well priced for quality. Staff were so friendly and informative, the wine knowledge is huge.
Try the Malbec, concrete tank make the difference as Tom says.
Will come back for dinner.
J. C.
Such a fabulous place, authentic, relaxed and fun! Excellent drinks and the team are superb, one of my favourite places to go! Thank you to Jamie, Carla (i think her name), the chap from Puglia and the rest of the team, we had a great night :-)
J. V.
We've always loved coming to Bedales and have been many times. We came here for our first evening out after the Covid restrictions eased. The staff were very friendly and the wine and cocktails were great. We loved Rui, he was so friendly and attentive. Thank you
K. G.
Had a fab night here, the food was excellent especially the pork cheek croquettes and mushroom sourdough. The choice of cocktails and wine was extensive and we tried quite a few! What topped it off was the incredible service. Fantastic night from start to finish!
N. S.
We had a great lunch here, with a choice of tapas-style dishes. The balcony is a perfect setting with views across Borough Market. It feels very safe as it is effectively outdoors while being covered by the glass roof of the market. Friendly, attentive service and lots of atmosphere.
L. L.
Found this place by accident and glad we did. Really cosy on a terrible afternoon. Waiter really helpful with recommendations and tastings. Ended up staying for 3 hours and had a fantastic cheese and ham platter as well as 4 bottles of wine!
M. G.
This was one of the most wonderful experiences we've had during these challenging months. My fiance and I went in for our anniversary and the staff was very welcoming - we were greeted and treated with a lovely glass of Prosecco! We had the Borough platter and some burrata- both were divine! If you are going there you have to try the prunes - we were in awe of the taste! The staff was so lovely that they gave us some to take home as we were so enchanted! The whole experience left us with a big smile on our faces and we can't wait to go back again!
E. J.
Had a lovely Saturday night!
The exact thing I needed after all this pandemic.
Had a few glasses of wine before dinner and it was absolutely perfect.
Really recommend Mara Red wine!!
l. t.
Some Italian wines, close to borough market, it's great
S. G.
We had a lovely evening celebrating my wifes 40th on Saturday evening, we have been the Bedales a few times now and have always enjoyed our visits, the staff are very attentive. They even provided a free bottle of prosecco for my wife to help celebrate, which was extremely kind, so thank you, we will be back!
N. S.
My almost regular place when I'm in Borough Market and fancy a friendly place to drink good quality wine next to some good hearty food - try the raclet
M. S.
Nice to be back in the Boro - friendly staff and interesting tapas although a little more bread would be nice with the cheeses and other dipping dishes as not cheap. Good wine and interesting wine list. The trains overhead become part of the background after the initial shock of the 5.50 rolling a few feet above your head lol.
L. L.
The terrace is really nice, covered and heated - which makes it ideal for household mixing gathering in line with the restrictions. The wine was very good and the food was yummy. Will definitely return!
S. J.
Always a lovely spot to enjoy a wine and a catch up with friends. Outside space available, including the upstairs terrace overlooking the market. Service friendly and helpful and the wine selection great too. Likely to be a good choice for outdoor socialising in future
R. L.
Good selection of by the glass wines, quick and tasted plates for a snack. Ideal with good service and no issues having a dog in toe! Thanks
C. S.
The food, wine and staff were amazing! Such a special place to have my baby shower. Thank you!
T. O. T. D. Y.
Food service a little slow but nice selection and great atmosphere.
k. k.
Professional staff, they will treat the customer like family. Different varieties of wine as well as food.
Definitely recommended.
S. M.
What a wonderful place to spend our pre-lockdown evening! Service was great and the terrace was fab – not chilly at all despite the crisp November evening. A lovely spot to while away a few hours, munching on croquettes and sipping champagne. We'll be back in December!
j. w.
Lovely evening. The lady hostess sat us outside downside and when we said it wasn't ideal, she said she. would do her best to sit us upstairs on the terrace. She looked after us brilliantly, found us a table upstairs and was a brilliant hostess.
D. K.
Cosy, good wine selection. Had the cheese & charcuterie plates, went with a group and really enjoyed the outdoor seating - it was summer, luckily :)
L. R.
Great wine bar in Borough Market
The wine list is very varied and with reasonable prices. Good small plates for every taste.
The staff is amazing
A must in London!!
N. R.
Love the wine selection, great food, attentive and friendly service 👍
J. U.
Nice wines and great service.
I. B.
Wine list with lots of selection, good atmosphere and decor with the barrels on display and, while we haven't tried the cheese selection, those looked pretty interesting too. It's right across the market and next to some great restaurants, and I'd highly recommend it as a before or after spot.
M. C.
Such a lovely night at Bedales last night and it was so great. The food was delicious, the wine was amazing, staff and service was perfect - such a fab night. Plus those epic outdoor heaters 👍🏻
A. F.
Great hidden gem right under the train tracks. The only downside is it's pretty noisy with the trains but drinks are a good price and good service. Worth a visit
I. R.
A brilliant little wine bar in a top location. Backs on to borough market so in the warmer months there is the option of a few seats outside with big barrels for a table. Split over 3 levels inside, so more room than it looks to have on first impression. Good atmosphere, great wine and staff that know what they are talking about
M. S.
Phenomenal choice of little known yet high quality wines; the small dishes on the Menu are exquisite and not expensive 😋
J. E.
Lovely little wine haven
Great wine, service, cheese and charcuterie. Will definitely return.
N. D.
Ernesto gave us a fantastic impromptu lunch experience. The food was incredible. The wine was fantastic. And the great service really tied everything together. Thank you!
A. W.
Attentive staff, great selection of wine including a couple of skin contact orange wines, thorough covid precautions. We were sat on the balcony looking over the market, very convivial atmosphere!
S. R.
Outdoor terrace is perfect for a small get together now restrictions are partially lifted. Service was excellent and the Covid-19 precautions spot on.
K. W.
Bedales is a great wine bar in a wonderful location that is worth exploring. Service was excellent and advice given for wine selections was right on point for us. We shared some food which was a perfect match with the wine. The crowd in Bedales was lively and fun, clearly enjoying the atmosphere!
G. G.
Great little vine venue, never seems overly busy which is good considering location. Great selection of wines, ranging from cheap to expensive. Nibbles are ok, but limited selection and portion size. Staff are always helpful and cheerful.
J. K.
Very nice evening here with some great sharing platters - fantastic variety of charcuterie and cheeses. The wine menu is excellent and the team there are very knowledgeable making some great recommendations.
A. C.
Came here for a surprise wine tasting, and we had an excellent evening. The wine was fantastic, we sampled some really interesting bottles which we'd never have chosen for ourselves. The staff were really helpful and happy to answer all our questions, and the Borough market sourced meat and cheese platter was the icing on the cake.
H. B.
Hannah has a brilliant customer service
Great experience Thankyou Hannah great brand ambassador 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A. K.
We had an excellent lunch for 2 -very good salmon tartare, beef croquettes and mushrooms on toast, washed down by an interesting White wine from Portugal.Very friendly and efficient service
A. K.
Lovely place - friendly staff, great wine list and lovely outdoor seating area!
S. H.
There's a lot to enjoy here in this friendly, if cramped, wine bar. There's a fine selection of predominantly young wines interspersed with a few big-hitting vintages. If you can sit outside, overlooking the market, you'll feel less cramped but it's all still pretty hectic.
You can also buy wine to take away, which is useful if you're sprinting to a party and need to stock up when the market is closed.
Y. K.
Good wine and good selection of nibbles. Ox cheek croquettes were delicious. Better processes re seat allocation would be great and some improvements to service that was a bit haphazard. They forgot to seat us and forgot to bring our food which is a shame.
S. v. T.
Love the atmosphere and choice of wine, great place to relax and catch up with friends. Was very disappointed with the service, we had a corner table and staff frequently bumped into us while restocking. Lack of apology and general disinterest of staff doesn't live up to the promise when you walk in!
A. s.
Nice terrace the only downside is the loud noise of the trains passing by.
Also their caramelised onion burger is fabulous.
H. D.
So much better after its refurbishment with much more room and a delightful terrace overlooking Borough Market. The sharing platter of cheese and cold meats was delicious and the Croation chardonnay a revelation. Thank you.
E. R. C.
I've been to Bedales twice and have had a generally good experience on both occasions.
First time I went there it was pure coincidence as my partner and I were walking around the market on a Sunday when most stalls are closed so finding this little gem when both of us were hungry, saved the day! We sat at the bar and were served rather quickly. We had a glass of wine each, the mixed platter for £24 and the raclette for £8. The mixed platter is a great option as it has a good selection of cheeses and cold meats/spreads. The cheese portions are rather small but very tasty. It even comes with sobrassada! (if you've been to the Balearic islands, you know what I'm talking about). The only downside is that it doesn't come with enough bread for two people. I would suggest that some more slices are provided!! I did not like the raclette, however, as it had dijon mustard at the bottom and made the dish increadibly strong. I had never found mustard in a raclette, but there you go. This is something that should be placed on the side, in my opinion.
The second time I went it was a Friday eve. My friend and I had a glass of wine each at the bar whilst we were seated, it was rather busy. After about 10min we had a table downstairs (it's a basement if I remember correctly). Unfortunately, the staff didnt notice us and had to ask for the food menu myself. I skipped the raclette and went straight for the mixed platter which was as food as the last time I had been there.
Bedales is a good option if you're in the area.
G. M.
We are regular visitors to Borough Market. Shopping can be a thirsty business so it's a good job Bedales is here to quench our thirst. The new balcony offers great views across the market.
d.
We went to the market and it was closed then We pop up to Bedales for a Bottle of Red for dinner , great service as usual and we also got some mulled wine . Awesome .
C. B.
The wine selection is fine and the corkage policy is very reasonable. They have reduced the selection in recent times, which is disappointing.
The food is limited and good but the portions are very small and result in the food being poor value for money
K. N.
This wine bar is great, great atmosphere and Ernesto was very helpful and spot on recommendation!
J. R.
Really nice. Friendly and quick service.
O. A.
I'm not a wine drinker so this wasn't the place for me however the staff were polite and friendly and made me feel welcome.
The other customers though were a bit snobby so don't think I'll be heading back
N. R.
Delightful venue for late afternoon cheese and meat platter served with fine wine. Friendly staff - not sure what earlier unfavorable review was based on. And of course, a nice ambience.
s. c.
Good wines. Variety of glass sizes. Selection of cheeses and meats to accompany is expanded by some salads too. Good vibe and peaceful compared to the market outside
r. t.
Amazing italian wine selection! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend the place.
V. S.
Prompt and friendly service, excellent wines and food, extremely reasonable prices and lovely atmosphere - I simply adore Bedales and it's my first choice for a nice evening out with friends!
D. N.
One of my favorite places to stop of for a glass or two of fine wine. Very nice atmosphere, great wine, best shared in good company.
J. M.
Lovely inside, good selection of wine. Just a little too difficult to get a table without reservation and fairly pricey.
R. B.
Really enjoyed this place, good wines and good food. We split the meat and cheese platter, very good. Nice atmosphere.
N. M.
Good selection of wine, and nice cosy atmosphere. The food is good - fresh deli meats and cheeses which go well with the wine, but not great if you're hungry.
G. J.
Wine choices are good, some organic ones too. Sommelier (Caroline) was knowledgable and attentive.
Guy with a top-knot and grubby Stan Smith trainers lets the place down. Truculent. Needs customer service training.
N. B.
A bit pricey, but wine was good
A.
They couldn't offer us a table to begin with but staff were very accommodating and knew their wines. A little bit on the high price end, but good.
D. T.
Nice place in a good location. I have food intolerances and they were very helpful and accommodating. It is very pricey!
M. D.
This place has very nice interiors and a good choice of wines of all types. I had a Greek one which was delicious. It tends to be a bit expensive
A. B.
Big fan of this little place. Excellent wines, a great cheese/meats board and a nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly too.
I. M.
Lovely food, excellent wine and a waitress who couldn't have been more helpful.
T. R.
Great wine and good food 😀
M. C. M.
Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. Good place for drinks. It is possible to book just for drinks and some food, better calling that by the webpage. Having dinner is not mandatory.
M. T.
Finding somewhere with atmosphere is tricky with the pandemic, but this had a friendly buzz, following the rules of course, with people spaced out enough to feel safe while also feeling apart of everything.
T. T.
Great wine selection and really friendly staff who were willing to take a long time and explain different wines etc to me. Was grateful. Thank you.
C.
Wicked night here, but always a decent evening so no surprises there. Our server Jess practically made the evening!
M. S.
Delightfully characterful space with a fine wine list and open air terrace within Borough market sheltered from the elements
N. T. W.
Excellent service and lovely wine in a gorgeous space.
T. O.
Great little wine bar! We had superb service from Ernesto 👍 recommended
M. T.
Cracking cocktails, tasty wine. Excellent service.
E. k.
Great selection of wine and snacks
L. G. R.
A bit pricey, but the wines and the platters of cheese and charcuterie are superb! Very delicious.
A. R.
I was really hoping this would be amazing. The setting is beautiful! Unfortunately the service was terrible, even the chef had to step in. The food was lovely and so was the wine.
A. W.
The soul food stand made me question life itself, I've never had more delicious pastries than at the baklava stand, or more delicious chocolate than at the confectioner's stand. A must-visit when in London
K. B.
Really nice wine bar with good cheese. Not good if your looking for a lock in as they have you out before the clock strikes 11
L. W.
Lovely wine and tapas bar, agreeable and knowledgeable staff. And if you guess their wine of the say, free drinks!
L. S.
Great welcome and service from all we met. The upstairs terrace is spaced really well.
P. C.
Book a place on the roof terrace. Lovely view over the market and atmospheric with all the trains clanking by overhead.
R. M.
I was there in October with my husband and one incident occurred but Robin deal with that in a fantastic way. Thank you very much Robin for making us feel better after the incident.

An absolutely must try....

Lovely place but the national rail trains above are deafening above. Seriously
S. L.
Good wine and service, but pricey and very loud music.
S. H.
Girls lunch - great food and lovely staff, highly recommended
T. C.
Nice place, its a shame we sat on the first floor, was a windy evening and the door to the terrace was always left open to spoil the mood.
F. B.
Best mulled wine I have had in years.
C. S.
Great lively music and lovely wine and cheese! A bit pricey but had a good time!
S. I.

Found this spot whilst in London back in 2016. Wanted authentic fish & chips and I DEFINITELY was not disappointed.

Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and great wine menu.
W. P.
Service was ok but certainly wasn't made to feel overly welcome. When I asked for a drink or the bill it seemed an effort. Shame

Nice place quite pricy though.
J. S.
Perfect wine bar. Lovely atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff and one of the nicest places to sit for a glass of wine away from the chaos of the market. While Borough has numerous drinking establishments, Bedales is the one we aim for every time. Even the food is delicious and not entirely unreasonable for the area and bar type.
R. T.
Great to relax with a glass of wine.
