A. G.Great bar. Friendly bar staff. Drinks pretty reasonably priced and the food is excellent. It was quiet at first but got busier later, on New Year's eve which was great fun. We were ushered up to the main pub ( The Alexandra) to see in the New Year but when we went back down to Berties, the security guys were funny and happy to have a laugh until the bar staff returned soon after. (I've also still got my hat and paper trumpet). A partly-flooded toilet floor is not a good look but hopefully it should be a temporary issue. There is outdoor seating too and the venue is not too warm, even when full. The security guys are also brilliant, funny, helpful and easy to talk to if you need assistance. Overall a great place for a drink and a nice venue for a cosy hideaway.

T. D.Perfect for any day of the week. 2 for 1 cocktails which a decent and even without the deal are pretty cheap. You definitely get what you pay for. All the staff are friendly and cheery. Great place to relax in the comfy sofas and soak in the 90s repeat of indie tunes.
G. P.Was there on a Saturday night and the music was so bad it made me want to leave. Bee Gees, really? The non-stop cheese music was painful. Other than that the bar is decent and busy, so a pretty easy fix to make it a good night out
S. M.We had our christmas party at berties bar and i have to say it could not have gone better if we have tried.
The venue was cosy and cute inside with plenty of space. The drinks were fairly priced and the staff did everything they could to be helpful, often going beyond the call of duty for us. The smoking area is perfectly protected from all wind and was decorated with lights and heaters which was another lovely extra touch.

B. C.We held a charity event at Bertie's Bar on Sunday 27th August - and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and management. Sarah was a diamond from the start of the night right until the end :D Our guests enjoyed the night too and the selection of cocktails etc - thank you xx
S. R.We went as a group of about 15 on Saturday 20th December 2015. It was fairly busy, and the guitarist was very good as was the selection of music played in between. Unfortunately the bar ran out of numerous lagers early on in the night, and the bottles brought out later were warm and then they ran out of them too. This spoilt the evening. Great shame
