Reviews of Brew By Numbers Tasting Room
B. B.
REVIEW IS FOR BBNO MORDEN WHARF. (Google appears to have changed the location to the Bermondsey taproom)
Been to the original Bermondsey place before however brewing has now moved to North Greenwich area. (Bermondsey still open). Anyway this place is massive! Just the size inside is so impressive and imposing, situated inside an old warehouse/wharf. Massive shoutout and cheers to Jay who was on the bar at the time. He was very welcoming and even gave us a free tour of the brewery. Top bloke who is obviously passionate and knowledgeable whilst also being easy to talk to and ask questions about the brewery.
The range of craft beer styles is massive and brilliant however they top themselves with their stouts and sours most of all.
Fresh Woodfired pizza and bar snacks are available as well as spirits.
Top place. Top bartender.
Highly recommended.
I. I.
how possible rate such an amazing place less than 5 stars? ao authentic, so hipster and so friendly. oh beer, obviuosly amazing. on yhe photo: gose raspberry♡
A. B.
If you like craft beer, don't miss BBN in the mile. A particular stand-out for me was the double hopped IPA.
N. G.
Fantastic. The staff were so friendly. The service was excellent as was their beer. Enjoyed our time here here in the sun.
C. G.
The BBNo/Crown & Queue beer and meat matching night was as informative and as enlightening as it was tasty! Staggered home very contented. So nice to to spend an evening with people so passionate and excited about the quality of their products. Highly recommended.
K. K.
Amazing place! The beers of Brew By Numbers so good, and wonderful atmosphere in tap room
J. K.
One of the great example of new trend wave for a ever changing scene for craft beer pubs.
The place has a great craft beer selection from own brewed beers. Staff is very welcoming in explain and guiding you through the varieties of styles and tastes.
Tap is constantly changing, which will never leave you hanging even remotely bored. Finally, bars fixed!
Atmosphere is relaxing and plenty of seats around.
Prices are not that friendly, but you are paying for exclusivity of tasting craft beers from small unique brewery, which can be in a very limited editions.

Great selection of beers, cool staff, beautiful atmosphere, brilliant location near to most of breweries taprooms. Such a nice experience to b there. Must go there again
M. I.
Staff are great. Comfy seating. But very limited beer selection.
M. D.
Bought a mixed case of their beer during lockdown and it was consistently superb, so had to visit their brewery tap in Bermondsey, and I'm in beer heaven!
P. B.
One of my favourite places on the Bermondsey Beer Mile. Always has a great atmosphere and friendly staff, and more importantly, some of the best beer you'll find brewed in London. It's far too easy to spend a Saturday afternoon here
I. W.
Good place, super friendly staff, great beer....(so I've been told) Now I dont really like beer so everytime I go in they give me a new one to try, their on a mission to find one for me lol
Go down on a Saturday for the beer mile experience or a Friday if you want some space
A. 5.
A great stop on the beer mile, excellent choice of beers and lovely sitting out in the sunshine.
A.
Visited a few times as part of the Bermondsey beer mile on a Saturday. Fairly small space but with a great selection of taps ranging from pale ales to fruity IPA's and porters. Prices are better than at any pubs in London as the beer is straight from the source and about as fresh as you can get it. Well worth a visit.
J. R.
Great service and a discount just for wearing a Cloudwater t-shirt. The Bermondsey family indeed! Thanks Thai, really appreciated it
R. D.
I’ve been about 5 times now and the staff alone get 5 stars, always friendly and passionate about the beers. I am a big BBNo fan so I give 5 stars for the beers too. It’s a cool venue. Not sure why as a beer lover this wouldn’t deserve a review of anything other than 5 stars, personally I feel these guy have raised the bar. Don’t get me wrong, plenty others like Bianca road (next door) are up there too but I believe BBNo helped to raise the game. Top place, more than worth a visit.
Z. H.
One of the best on the mile. Shout out to Louis (Peckham) and Rob who made Covid beers much smoother- personnel are key and you guys have done a great job ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority
N. H.
Excellent taproom bar, amazing beers, superb cloudy tropical mosaic pale ale, No 11.
N. M.
The doorman, Alexis, was phenomenal. His heart is as big as his biceps. Never ending.
The selection of quality beers and ales is a beer enthusiasts dream.
The service is the best I have ever recieved in London. The waitress, Jenelle, was delightful, friendly and quite frankly, a day dream that came to fruition. This has made my bank holiday a solid 11/10
Came for the beer, stayed for Jenelle.
S. P.
Have drunken BBNO offerings many times so the taproom was a must visit when in the area. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks and a pleasant drinking atmosphere.
T. H.
Part of the Bermondsey Beer Mile, and make sure you include Brew By Numbers. Excellent range of ales 🍺👍
J. B.
Great beer and super friendly staff. Highly recommend! They only sell snacks, but there's usually a food truck parked in front.
F. L.
I love the simple decor but nice packaging of the beers. Friendly service and delicious beer
F. L.
Awesome stop on the beer mile. Amazing beer, tons of variety, and their new tasting room just up the street is wicked. They always have a selection to choose from, and they're all great. Food truck outside to keep your stomach full, love this place.
A. L.
Small craft brewery under the railway arches in Bermondsey. Beer was good and they do food too. There was a BBQ place outside doing grilled pork on ciabetta with friendly staff. It was very windy when I visited and their menus kept being blown all over the street.
s. b.
Great brewery, if you're into hoppy beers this is the place to be
L. W.
Consistently good beer. A must visit when in Bermondsey
M. W.
Great beer, great taproom, guys very accommodating.
Also chuffed to hear they've bought place in North Greenwich to upscale their brewery and a larger taproom for the masses.
C. D.
I've had 2 beers, one sour and one saison and they were both very good! Place was simple, but cozy.
G.
Favourite brewery in London - amazing IPAs
J. M. A.
We were looking for a nice(different) spot to have a beer after a long walk, and "accidentally", we found thid place. But what a stunning accident finde a place like this... extraordinary service from the staff and suculent craft beer...
100 % reccomendable.
I will be back
V. A.
Fantastic brewery, great beers and people!
R. R.
Brewery #3 on our crawl. Honestly one of my favorite spots because of how experimental they are. If you’re a microbrew that’s your niche. I loved their 05/27 IPA. Venue is large and even provides bbq if you’re hungry
P. D.
Really nice brewery decent & decent prices. Great vibe and atmosphere and street food available. There is porta potties not proper toilets.
l. f.
Absolutely wonderful afternoon swally, thank goodness you were open on the Bank Holiday 🍻
Fantastic selection, all very supable. Great to chat to Louis, he was right....Kernal Tap is open👍
Thanks for the merch...love it, and the clips😉
S. H. L. (.
Amazing beers, but a bit pricy.
F. P.
Always a favourite on my Bermondsey Beer Mile trips, but a special call out that on a very hot Saturday they were also giving out pints of ice water with the beers without us asking which was a massively appreciated touch.
S. P.
Microbrewery offering a variety of locally brewed beers, from IPAs, to stouts. My favourite is their double IPA.
You can also purchase bottled beer from this pub.
The place is rather small and it can get very crowded (especially as its popularity increases). Note that you cannot take your drink outside - something to keep in mind if the place is very crowded.
J. R. R.
This place has possibly the best beer on the planet in my opinion. There's always something great on offer and I struggle to choose every time I go because they only sell excellent beer. My one complaint is that the end of the night last orders - closing time is too short and clearly doesn't give customers enough notice/time to drink up. Wasted beer, particularly of this calibre, makes me very sad indeed! But I can't even dock a star for that because it's so good. Damnit.
P.
Great beer, location and staff - what more could you ask for?!
N. C.
Such a great selection of beers. One of the best places for trying unusual and different style beers. Super friendly staff.
S. S.
A very cosy brewery with some amazing beers. Their saison with cucumber and juniper is a very refreshing beer, one that would be recommended for beer and gin drinkers. Also one of the most reasonable places for a swift pint or two. Kudos to Alex and his team for some creative craft beers
P.
One of the older (relatively) breweries on the Bermondsey Mile. The beer is good with a variety of styles, watch out for the cask when they have it on. You should be aware that it is cashless so bring your card.
D. E.
Cool spot great beer!
T. M.
Gets so busy quickly but good prices and a good range of house beers. Could do with some more snacks by the bar as well as the food trucks. Nice to get there early if you don't want a party atmosphere. Excellent music. Improve the bar snacks and I will improve my mark.
D. R.
Outstanding beers, all taproom fresh. We had sours, pales, strong stouts and they were all superb. Bustling atmosphere, everyone having a great time. Can't recommend enough.
D. B.
BBN ID a lovely craft beer company in Bermondsey, one of the many who wisely choose the archway under the railways, which offer a superb atmosphere for brewing with just the right room temperature. Great beers, some guarded in Oak casks, a nice tasting room with great service, a wide variety of brews and all the spirit of the beer mile. If you happen to find yourself astray a Saturday morning in the south Bank, this is a place you should see.
J. L.
Friendly workers, delicious beer. What else you need?
J. W.
Great service, great beer, great atmosphere. What more do you want?!
M. d. P.
Great list of beers, even better staff! ;)
J. K.
Great beer and interesting atmosphere
B.
This place must have the friendliest staff in the area. EVERY time I come here, no matter who’s working they are super friendly, welcoming and smiling.
LOVE this place. X
D. C.
Great taproom with excellent beer, fantastic staff, and street food at the weekend. It now has lots of seating outside (& you can book)
C. L.
Come for the beer, stay for Jenelle. Unbelievable service. Best in London. Alexis is a diamond and Jenelle is a beaut.
S. G.
Ok place
Pleasant staff
But Disgusting Roae Wine
Which i did say
I know a Beer establishment but ladiss fo visit as well
B.
Lovely beer, generous tastes when trying to decide. Friendly
P. M.
Great range of beers and always interesting new styles available. Nice place to spend a Saturday afternoon
S. W. R.
It was fine, the staff were nice, but why close before 2200 on a Saturday? With so many people still about. I assume the council are being tiresome...
C. F.
Great atmosphere, great staff, amazing beers. So good, we wen back for seconds, after visiting the other breweries around
E. “. H.
One of the best craft breweries in London!
B. S.
Fresh, excellent, just-canned beer available to take away
R. G.
Great selection beers if u wanna sit on beer garden better to book these days
P. G.
Great beer. Small bar but plenty of outside space in good weather. There’s a £3 deposit on each glass - when you’re finished, remember to take it back for a refund, swap for a bottle - or just keep it.
C. K.
What an amazing place. Can't wait for the lockdown to allow for them to reopen. Great beer, great people, great service and location
N.
Cosy and great craft beer. The staff are happy, friendly and make this place a delight.
I. W.
Good beer here. Unfortunately there had been a delivery of about 1000 bottles which clogged the place up a bit between them & all the punters.
J. P.
Nice people, very good beers... what could we ask more?
A. H.
Got a walk-in table after a short wait, great selection of beers with friendly service, and Korean fried chicken for dinner!
M. P.
Decent craft beers and super knowledgeable bar staff. Clearly very passionate about their beer. Can be a expensive. However, you have to expect that for this part of the world.
L. F.
One of my favourites on the Bermondsey mile. Friendly staff, brilliant beer, well worth a visit.
M. B.
Great beer and merchandise on offer for very good prices. Lots of space and lovely atmosphere.
C. P.
Very small but easy going taproom/brewery open to the public. Gets busy on Saturday, but get there at 12 and its much less cramped. Great beer selection, service is quick, and staff are friendly and happy to chat about the beer.
A. T.
Good craft brews, nice interior. The benches are a bit dangerous after you've had a few though 🙄😅
C. S.
Got some takeaway beers at the weekend..beers were tasty but he gave us one wrong one that we hadn't asked for and the guy wasn't very friendly or helpful...
N. R.
Brilliant brewery on the Bermondsey Beer Mile, serving fresh beers brewed on-site
J. D.
One of the best micro breweries I have been at. Well worth a visit if you like your beers.
F. M.
One of the best craft beer in the Bermondsey Beer Mile. Go check them out, they really good at what they do.
J. B.
Very popular tap room and incredibly busy on a Saturday so will take a while to get a drink and refill. Very basic interior but excellent beer and service. Staff refilled our drink after we spilt it moments after being served
N.
Great place, great beer selection, definitely will come again!
m. w.
Small brewery making fantastic beer and everyone is so friendly ❤
T. B.
My favourite brewery right now - consistently excellent dark beers, everything else is very good too.
P. M.
Top notch beers. Further, many excellent neighboring breweries and bars.
B. S.
Probably one of the best breweries in London. They had a wide selection of unique and expertly made beers all delicious. Great philosophy and not afraid to experiment with flavors. Highly recommended.
M. B.
The beer is quite good. I love the idea of the brew by numbers and how they label the bottles.
D. M.
An excellent choice of beers of many styles on offer, with a small choice for takeout too. Some really tasty craft beers, thoroughly recommended.
D. O.
Fairly typical tap room style drinkery with lovely beer. Wonder why when you drink beer or cider at point of production, why it has to be quite so expensive though....just a thought.
B. S.
Great beer that is situated right in the sun, with full brewery in the back of this railway arch. Golden ale best for a hot day.
C. D.
Elliot was not just funny and charming but made us welcome and happy. We love him
We want him. Can we take him home?
M. L.
Tasty fresh beers.
C. C.
Friendly staff, fresh beer by BBNo and friends. I don't know what else to say, if you like craft beer, just go! Plus is in the beer mile :) 🍻
D. A.
Best brewery on the beer mile!! Well worth the trip. The first number is the type of beer, the second is the recipe! Highly recommend the 21 01, great addition to the set!!
M. B.
Great beers but very expensive
M. A.
Great beer at great prices, straight from the tap! A beer lovers dream.
A. M.
Friendly knowledgeable brewery staff providing a fine range of craft beers
E. V. O.
It's a brewery, making great beer. What else is there to say?
F. L. F.
This is my 2nd time in London and my 2nd time going to Brew by numbers.
Very cool staff and one of the best beers I ever tried... If you like hazy and aromatic ales, this is the place! Too bad this year I couldn't find the DIPA with grape...
B. C.
Excellent place to chill out friendly staff great choice of beers
G. R.
Great little spot for a decent pint
W. F.
Fab. Good beer choice. Polite staff.
E. T.
Great beer!
E. P.
Truly magical place. Once discovered, you won't look any further. Best in class craft beer and so much to choose from! A+++
K. V.
They did not put much effort into creating some sort of atmosphere here. The beer is good, but one can get them in a beer shop as well.
J. C.
A great range of beers with interesting flavour profiles. Friendly staff, a nice environment. They need proper toilets rather than portable toilets to take it to the next level. Best venue after the Kernel in Bermondsey. Since the Kernel doesn't allow drinking inside the venue this is now the best.
T. S.
Great tasting room. Top beers
I. D.
Great beer, nice space, good prices.. what's not to like?
J. P.
Nice in-house brewed beers, for Pale-Ale lovers of course!
Eat before or bring food with you, as you won't find food here, and after some pints you will need it :)
I. G.
Good beer and good people!! Cheers from san sebastian!!

Excellent service. Tanks put all the way into BH. 🙂
L. M.
great staff, best beer on the mile!
N. H.
Great selection of Saisons and tropically-focused hop profiles for IPAs; but plenty of other options for a developing craft brewery. Can be busy during Saturday beer crawl crowds.
S. L.
Various kinds of fresh beer with pleasant snacks and music
A. P.
Great place, awesome beer, savvy staff
M. T.
I haven't been there yet but I think it's going to be amazing

M. F.
Great selection of beers!
M. M.
Great beer, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff
M. H.
Tasty beer tucked away in the railway arches. If you start at the Maltby St end of the Bermondsey Beer Mile then this will be the second brewery you'll visit, though I recommend dropping into the Bottle Shop as your second stop which then makes this the third stop on the tour. Will happily return here again, and worth doing so on a nice day as they're cool with you drinking on the pavement outside unlike some of the other breweries.
D. H.
Excellent Taproom and excellent beers. Staff is great!

(Translated) Located in a very picturesque place, under the train tracks, every time one passes you have to stop talking because it is impossible to hear yourself. It has 2 or 3 picnic tables to sit down and have one of the beers that they make there. If you want to accompany them with some food, just outside the door is a stand for hot dogs. Curious site to see but not recommended.
