Reviews of BrewDog Shoreditch
M. A.
Super nice staff, great music, nice food and obviously great Brewdog beer! Toilets are always clean and provides sanitary products, which is a brand standard - such a great, kind idea! For bigger groups I would recommend to book, as it can get crowded in the evenings.

We had a really pleasant experience at here. I had a voucher to use and went in early to check it was useable. Staff were more than accommodating. On our return later we were created very quickly and the server was helpful in finding us seats. Our server was really friendly, she was unaware of what the voucher deal included but always went out the way to double check.
We were impressed with the tasting flights and the food was also decent. We ordered the Patriot burger and Fries which was enjoyable. Perhaps not the most tastiest burger I have tried but still good nonetheless.
It was a busy place and grew in popularity as we sat there.
The outside terrace is nice and has a canopy outside when it rains as it was while we were there.
Overall staff were really kind and did a great job.
M. G.
Great place, with a good vibe! Staff are very good and have great recommendations depending on what you like! I had the Hazy Jane beer and pizza with loaded fries! Great for couples or groups!
R. A.
Fantastic food, great beer. Oli who served us was fantastic. There was clearly a staff shortage as the poor lad was tending to the entire pub, but he did a smashing job despite the challenges. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Oli

First time to Brewdog Shoreditch. Went to celebrate my birthday. Party of 6. Excellent experience! Love this brand, love their beer/IPA and love their food. 'Clockwork Tangerine' on tap (£6) is one of my favourites. Selection was brilliant... had a Hawkes Pineapple Cider too. Food was amazing- Buffalo wings were dee-lish! Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. In terms of the night- enjoyed, & Right mix of 'Covid safe' without being killjoy jobsworths. Our server/downstairs bartender, Marcus, was friendly and helpful... went extra mile! Possibly, the best Brewdog of the lot! In short: RECOMMEND!

I like BrewDog, but what I don't like is having to wait for over 5 minutes to get served at the bar. At almost £7 a pint they surely could have hired some more staff, pay a decent wage and still make a profit. False economy, we would have ordered at least another 4 pints but decided to go elsewhere.

The staff here at Brewdog in Shoreditch were very friendly and helpful during what is an unusual time. Very quick service and the food and drinks were great. It was the busiest Brewdog I visited in London so was sat at the back downstairs, but the service was still fast and friendly.
C.
You know what you're getting at Brewdog which makes travelling easier. Burger was tasty but all table's food came out at different times, and some lukewarm. Paid ~£2 for a dip (i know) which never came, but by that time I was too hungry to care. Serving staff were polite + friendly though. Expensive for what you get.
A. D.
Do yourself a favor and visit this place!
I'm a regular Brewdog customer and I've visited many branches but must say... the food here is top notch!
They have the classic Brewdog menu with burgers and wings but they also do PIZZAS.
Service was ok, beer was great as always!
Absolutely Highly recommend!

Overpriced food! Not only did half our meals arrive cold and had to be sent back but the pizzas were lacking in flavour completely. The pizza sauce was watery - we had it as a dip for our crusts and it was flavourless and watery. We had to put salt on pizza!? Weird.
The side of chips for £4 was a rip off too - it arrived in a tiny cup. Really disappointed as we love the drinks and the bar itself but the food was so poor. We were offered money off our final bill but then were gifted a free drink each which isn't particularly great when you're on a diet coke on a Sunday afternoon!
L. B.
Really fun place with unique alcoholic drinks. You can get there many kinds of beers from different countries and different breweries. Serving also food and in general the vibe is cool and cozy.
M.
Amazing atmosphere and great server on the taps that gave great recommendations based on my palatte and preferences. The beer was amazing and all taps were available but one. Didn't have any food. Bathrooms were clean.
J. S.
Lovely looking place, staff friendly but a little over stretched. Food was really good, only downside was Buffalo sauce was a little sweet for me but the Dalston hot sauce on the table was amazing. Good draught selection and even better cans and take away selection. Didn't have build your own beer stout as advertised so will return to try in future!
T. Ř.
Probably the best big-budget craft-beer pub I've ever been to. The place has two floors and is huge! That usually means some sacrifices in the quality of the beer, but not in here! I had a lovely NEIPA and barley wine and both were flawless. The guys behind the bar even offered us samples of some of the beers, so we would know what we were getting into. The fact that this place is also vegan-friendly was just a pleasant cherry on top.
C.
Very nice and quiet. You have a little terrace for the sunny days. There is no TV so if you want to avoid the crowd and the shouts during sorry events that your place. As always the variety of beers is really good. Located in the Shoreditch
R. C.
To be fair, I'm not the biggest fan of BrewDog beer - it's a strange mix of too much citrus, too much hoppiness and just too bright. However the modern design of the pub is great - lots of space a wide wide selection of drinks, including options that aren't from BrewDog.
The real reason for this review is the absolutely amazing cocktail bar downstairs (Underdog at BrewDog). Dammit this place is amazing - love the prohibition speak-easy styling, and the mixologists have done some great things with adding BrewDog beer to every cocktail. It just works so damn well.
M. W.
This place gets really loud at night - you've been warned. I'm told it's a lot quieter during off-hours, but if you're the sort to drink during off hours you'd know that. Also, you're looking at a Brewdog pub, so Brewdog beers rule the roost. Always a good selection on tap, and they also feature a good bunch of guest taps. The selection varies across each Brewdog pub, so there's more incentive to visit a few. This place also features a beer vending machine, which is cool if you're into that sort of thing. Otherwise, a must-visit craft beer venue.

Came again and the range of beer still great, service still very good. Had the food which to be honest was a little disappointing. The chorizo dog was good, but nothing special. The fries were cold and clearly had sat there for a long time. Despite this I’m happy to maintain the 5 star rating as beer + good service is enough for me anyway.
w. t.
Brewdog is always on my hit list for their excellent beers. Here u can find a huge variety of draught, bottles & cans. Large space, good for groups.
M. L.
Great location right next to shoreditch high street station, the beers are local and a good price. The “crunch” (stout on the left) tasted very creamy and smooth, almost like a dessert and treat. I don’t usually like stouts so this was definitely a surprise. Great service and not too loud so you can still have a conversation! :)
C. G.
Went here after the NFL last week, it's a bit of a staple for our London journeys. Staff are so friendly, the pizzas are so good and who doesn't love BrewDog on tap??
Y. R.
Passed by thousands times, saw always busy at night, finally visit there. Beer is nice definitely, but I love their chips most! Beer with chicken wings, feel sooo good after work.
Ą. L.
The service is amazing! Beer is top quality, for a great price. Definitely recommend and DEFINITELY will come back. Thank you guys, keep it up!
p. m.
Brewdog unusual name but the Brits are like that naming their pubs oddly - great selection of craft brewed beers I particularly went for the Jet Black as dark as the Irish Guinness but less bitter - still a heady brew though - staff are great polite and very helpful if you want to try before you buy - just a short stroll from the northern end of Brick Lane - spartan decor with metal plate flooring and stairs - watch your step going into the cellar.
C. L.
Rated one of the 10 best beer house in London. Here is one of the hubs for all the Equity Punks and of course it’s for beer lovers!
BrewDog Shoreditch is a great place for proper beer, particularly after you wandered around brick lane market.
精酿狗官方酒吧,爱喝IPA,精酿的一定要来!

A really cool place, great London vibe in Shoreditch. The food was delicious and they have a special collection of draft beer. I tried 'Instamatic' IPA and loved it! Enjoy :)
S. G.
Pricey but good beer and you'll always have a good time. There's a downstairs area where you can get great cocktails too.
A. P.
Brew Dog Shoreditch happened to be the venue for my first experience with 'Meetup'! If you're unfamiliar with Meetup, it is a fantastic social-hive of an application. A must-have tool to have whilst living in the lonely city. Whatever you're into, there's bound to be someone whose organised an event for you!
I'm a bit of a video game nerd, both current and retro. So attending an evening full of retro consoles dotted around a bar, mingling with new faces was bound to be an evening well spent!
As for the bar itself, it had a welcoming and relaxed vibe. That sort of industrial/dilapidated feel that matches up nicely with the BrewDog branding. Great selection of bottled/canned craft beer. I felt the tap list was lacking a little in comparison to the last time I frequented the BrewDog Soho.
Three words! UNLIMITED HOT WINGS! And they're good! Really good! The deal is, you pay £12 for a platter, and throughout the evening you can request little chicken wing top ups.
My only real criticism of the evening is that some of the bar staff were not especially attentive to the customers. I waited at one section of the bar for a few minutes whilst watching newbies being served ahead of me! Not cool guys, I had a long day at work, and I just want lots of beer served to me in a fair and timely fashion 😂😋
But yeah! Definitely check it out, and check out Meetup!
S. B.
Delicious beers in a chilled out atmosphere, playing awesome tunes. Huge range of taps and bottles/cams for the craft beer lover. They also have a craft beer vending machine for takeaways. Love it.
R. B.
Great bar, great beer, great place to chill out. The food has recently been revamped (was not good), yesterday we were all really impressed that they had improved their food offering considerably.
Update: try their pizzas, very tasty!
C. B.
Friendly staff and great beer. Helped me find something I'd like and try a few samples to get it right.
R. S. (.
Good bar! Tastey beer and food but expensive. The poor bar maid was run off her feet, running the place solo, she was very apologetic and still managed service with a smile. The management could recognise that one staff member behind the bar on a Sunday afternoon is not enough.
S. S.
Found this by accident and loved it although for me coming from Wiltshire I found prices beyond belief for a pint in London compared to our Swindon Wetherspoons..£6.40 for a pint certainly keeps me sober. This bar had an amazing selection of strong beers pool. There is even a 14% ale!!
S. B.
Totally enjoyed our visit, great beers as usual
I. B.
We had a great time tonight.
Many thanks for hosting. Perfect table to watch the Euro’s game.
We look forward to visiting again.
Huge kudos to our waiter Jack…
A proper spot on guy with great chat and excellent service. Made our visit extra special! 👍🏽🍺
M. C.
Large choice of Beers form Brewdog and Guest Breweries. Service was quick despite the bar being pretty busy.
Also now need to get a beer vending machine like the bar has!
A. B.
A good Brewdog with the expected range of beers. Some nice chill seating areas downstairs. Didn't try the food though
J. B.
A cozy but a bit loud place for a pint of beer. Winter cider special is a bit overpriced.
N. A.
Just as one might expect on a Saturday evening, I found a young and enthusiastic crowd st the bar downstairs a where I was ordering a sausage and an IPA. If you’re young, enthusiastic and game I say rock on, you cannot miss here. Good selection of craft beers.
J. C. D.
I love Brewdog's beer selection. Like Munich's famed Augustiner beer, their taste profile is always v balanced (I am quite picky with ny beer). My other favourite feature in the pub is it's beer selection from guest breweries. Super excited to found Omnipollo on the menu yesterday, a gypsy brewery I've been meaning to try for so long and a long-time favourite, the Weihenstephaner Weissbier.
The only downside to Brewdog? They still price their beer like a craft-brewery even though they're currently producing large-scale. But okay, I'm still giving them 5 stars.
R. T.
Global craft beer brand, but seriously some of the best. Elivs juice is near perfection, punk IPA is straight up amazing and froot brut is some of the best fruit based IPA going around. Clearly I'm a massive fan.
Also, the Buffalo cauliflower is seriously next level.
N. L.
Really great variety of beers and you get to sample before you order. The atmosphere is good too.
F. U.
Love this bar. Great place to sample new Brewdog beers and other craft breweries around the country. Can be pretty pricey but always worth it.
W. H.
Amazing beer selection if you like Brewdog (which I do), but staff seem to really resent you for trying to give them money.
E. F.
So excited for the Punk AF! Made this momma to be so happy... drinks were delicious and atmosphere was super trendy
江.
Nice drink, chilled place.
T. D.
Great night out, it's tricky because it's covid, but they accepted a table of 6 with another coincidental table of 6 sitting nearby, the app ordering was a bit of a faff and asked for a bit too much detail, but the beers were nice, a non-drinking friend had good drinks and we had a good time. Toilets are micro but not busy.
A. C.
Cool place to come enjoy Brewdog's craft brews. Great place to purchase craft brews to-go and the bartenders are mellow.
G. H.
Excellent selection of beer (as everywhere Brewdog) with friendly staff happy to let you try something before to buy. Plenty of tables.
C. W.
Obviously a good beer selection, albeit £6+ per pint. Food prices are fairly average for the area, if not a bit high. Food quality is very average. I had the Prestige Burger and fries; burger was overloaded with BBQ sauce, but otherwise okay; fries tasted oily and portion was small. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here and would probably play it safe with a pizza next time. Staff at the bar were helpful and friendly!
R.
Amazing place. So many cool beers from Brewdog and nice staff that seems to enjoy their jobs !!!
Food was great too.
J. J.
Knowledgeable staff, big choice of craft beer
A. B.
Wings Wednesday!
B. N.
Excellent food and drink. Really enjoy coming here
N. B.
Good selection of great ales, loved the beer vending fridges
I. L.
Love this place! Abstrakt 22 is a work of art!
J. C. D.
I love Brewdog's beer selection. Like Munich's famed Augustiner beer, their taste profile is always v balanced (I am quite picky with ny beer). My other favourite feature in the pub is it's beer selection from guest breweries. Super excited …

The team were really accommodating to my friend who is currently in a wheelchair. They made it easy for us to get to our seats.
A. C.
Cool place to come enjoy Brewdog's craft brews. Great place to purchase craft brews to-go and the bartenders are mellow.

Lovely bar staff and great beer selection. Manager has a great banter. Thanks!
M. B.
Nice place to have a beer! Really good service
G. C.
Delicious range of beers and now includes its own vending machine and take away beer! Not sure what to try? Start with the Punk IPA!
E. A.
Amazing time! As a vegan family (with a 3 years old) we were so much welcomed. Quite a lot of vegan options! Staff was so friendly and helpful. The space is big enough that you can get spot with more action and music or a quite place downstairs. So pleased to go and will definitely go again!
G. W.
Great bar friendly barman excellent knowledge on the brewdog range... Very impressed and really enjoyed the cider too. They do food which looked and smelt great although basic. Ideal place to meet up before the night out.
N. B.
Good selection of great ales, loved the beer vending fridges
R. G.
Great service and selection of beer. We only planned on being there for a quick drink but a few hours later trying all the different beers and they're fine with letting you try different samples
H. S.
great choice of real ales, real good atmosphere and good bar food menu.
F. B.
Nice place in Shoreditch, amazing beer (which is to be expected from Brewdog) but also surprisingly delicious pizza!
n. w.
I'm never been massive fan of Brewdog's beers, though you can't deny they were in the vanguard of the current craft beer revolution and have remained truer to their roots than others that were there with them.
However, whatever you might expect of a Brewdog flagship bar just at the top of Brick Lane in Shoreditch, the staff were excellent on my recent midweek-evening visit.
Shortly before arriving I had punctured the front wheel of my bike going through a pothole. The staff were more than willing to lend me a spanner and tyre levers so I could replace the tube with a spare I had.
L.
Good decor, atmosphere and service. Food was delicious here and prompt. Bar service was friendly and helpful when explaining the different types of beer - learnt something new! Also bought some beers for takeaway as a gift and was given a handy holder to go with it. Recommend for a good hangout spot.
M. A.
Great selection of beers and friendly crowd. Seating limited in busy periods but hey, I've got legs!
J. K.
Huge choice of amazing beers you’ve never heard of before. If you like stouts then head there right now! The staff is very nice too. The food is not stellar however but who would expect that from the best beers bar in London?
m. c.
Good range of beers. Friendly service.
M. M.
One of the best run BrewDogs in London. The staff are always super helpful and polite and the selection of beer is brilliant. The venue is really nice as it has split floors and isn't situated too far from the Overground station.
S. W.
This was my first time out for food and drink with friends since the pandemic. The bar felt really well organised and they have taken the utmost care to make this somewhere safe to visit.
At the door someone will greet you and take your details in case of any issues, the booths are all separated by plastic screens, all staff wear masks and you can order table service via your phone. I would definitely recommend if like me you are still a little anxious about going out.
M. D.
Amazing food and great atmosphere.
C. W. C.
Great place for a large group event, has about 20 people over 3 seating areas in the spacious basement (which has its own bar - win!). Food platters are very good too, especially the hot wings. Nice selection of drinks. Yes they do coffee patron and pickle-backs too. Would recommend, was easy to book the space online.
B. F.
Very fun, chill atmosphere for a few brews!
M. A.
I have next to no beer knowledge and the staff are brilliant at helping! Every time I visit they are friendly and always help me choose a beer which I will like. The beer selection is great which changes often with beers and other drinks from all over the world. The atmosphere is calm and friendly with cool artwork on the walls. Overall a great place to visit with friends for a few beers!
J. R.
For our first meal out in London since the pandemic, my husband and I went here for dinner. We were greeted by Ross at the door who was very friendly and informative. We were a bit anxious but he quickly put us at ease and talked us through the changes they've made. He showed us to our table which they've added dividers to, and explained any changes they've made, such as table service only. In no time at all our server Hugo was over to take our order. All the staff had PPE on and we had excellent service, delicious food (great selection for veggie/vegans too!) and great beer as always. Very happy to see the effort taken by Brewdog to make everyone feel safe and happy. Thanks again!
H. D.
First time visited 3rd Nov 2018. Good selection of beers on tap as well as a reasonably stocked & reasonable priced bottle/can selection. Had Paradox Uncle Dukes & Fierce Beer Maple Bacon Pancakes Porter to drink in & Crunch Peanut Butter Milk Stout & the Tool Banana Imperial IPA to takeaway. The staff were on the ball & we got served pretty quickly despite it being Saturday night.
B. W.
I'm a bit split on this one. First the positive parts. The venue is quite large with plenty of comfortable seating upstairs and downstairs. Food was reasonably priced and tasted very good.
However, the stairs you have to take to get downstairs are awful, the whole stairwell just reeks of urine. The staff was also not the most attentive and service was very slow.
Overall, a decent venue if you stay upstairs and don't mind waiting a bit.
A. V.
Pretty much like the next Brewdog pub. Reasonable beer (no cask) but not a bad range and for London not too expensive..
M. G.
Great beer, plenty of options for all tastes and most of it vegan! They also have nice food menu and vegan option on there too. Just wish they made their drinks menu 100% vegan.
S. G.
Overhyped, but what you get is still decent. No longer competes with the elite breweries, but their focus shifted with the rapid expansion. They’ve become the mass market beer of the craft world, lower quality for a wider reach.
This space is one of their worst locations, especially compared to Canary Wharf and Tower of London venues.
C. W.
Great, knowledgeable staff and excellent beer selection.
R. N.
Excellent spot to meet up and have a pint. The toilet was reaking though even more than I'd expect from such a establishment
W. R.
Very busy with friendly security staff. Great array of tiny rebel brews and specials. Most, if not all sofas and tables have sockets on the side allowing for people to charge their electronic devices. That's a smart thing to do in the day and age where travellers always find themselves wanting.
E. P.
The guys working in there are super nice. Food took ages to arrive but was okay. The space outside not the greatest but inside looks awesome
R. T.
One of the better Brewdog pubs in the capital, there's two levels to the pub with the upstairs being the main bar and the downstairs being predominantly for seating ect.
The prices are a tad high however that comes part and parcel with the location, there's always a new beer on offer if you're not interested in the vast range on tap already - (The Elvis being one of my favourites)
Depending on the day & time of your visit the pub can become very overcrowded however again this is part and parcel with its location and the brand name of the pub. Despite this, the bar staff are very responsive and try to maintain order at the bar which they do so successfully 90% of the time.
Overall there aren't many complaints, the issues that are present are out of the venues control and so it's hard to blame them for it.
Location: 8/10
Service: 8/10
Bar variety: 9/10
Facilities: 7/10
Price range: 7/10
Overall: 8/10

The Scottish barman with the beard (apologies I don’t know your name) is great. Went our chips went missing he ran downstairs and waited for a new batch to be made. Otherwise, the beer is great, I’m a big fan of Punk IPA and Dead Pony Club.
H. S.
Cool place, great for a pint or two amongst a pleasant atmosphere whilst enjoying good beer. Sorry to the couple next to us, who were tip-toeing through the first impressions stage whilst we struck up a passionate debate with a stranger about VAR and the Premier League...think we killed the romance.
R. D.
Great little pub in an area otherwise slightly lacking in decent places to go for a quiet drink. The beer selection is absolutely top notch and the staff always seem to know their stuff. It's somehow remained fairly hipster free unlike everywhere else nearby and therefore doesn't have quite so many obnoxious idiots ruining the atmosphere.
A. E.
Brew dog has a great atmosphere and good selection of beer. Including gluten free beer!!! The music wasn't too loud and we were able to find a table for our group of 6.
There is food available too!
C. M.
Went here for the beer and cheese tasting experience. It was excellent, our beer expert was Wayne. He was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the beers and the company. Everything we tried was delicious and I will definitely be recommending it to friends!
D. M.
Quite pricey but a good time. Vegan options are ok - need a bit more variation and the 'chicken' is a bit too heavy.
Would have given this a four but the service from Dave at the bar was top notch.
J. J.
Knowledgeable staff, big choice of craft beer
T. W.
Great bar. More than 20 beers available, their gin and tonic was great too. I really like the downstairs space that is more cozy with lots of booth seats and another bar for busy nights. There's also a great selection of games that have provided many hours of amusement.
S.
Has wide selection of Brewdog beer, as one would expect.
It has a few smaller tables outside at the front, a ground floor with several tables capable of hosting parties of ~6 and a basement with a few bigger. You can probably sit 7-9 people at those.
It has bar at top&below, but basement wasn't manned when I was there.
Overall, nice pub.
L. S.
The drinks are great but the food is absolutely not worth it.
You're paying a tenner for burgers without chips. The burgers are dense overcooked patties and the bun is absolutely the wrong type for a heavy burger, try and hold it to get a proper bite of the burger and the bun will break, failing at the whole point of having a bun.
They ha e a really nice hit sauce in the table as a free condiment which is fully approve of, shame they don't have food worth putting it on.
D. W.
Nice casual place for a good quality beer and some great snack food.
The Jet Black Heart and the Punk IPA are two of my favourite beers here. The Chorizo Dog and Super Sharing Stack make nice nibbles while absorbing the alcohol.
Typical trendy "industrial chic" ambiance to be expected but makes for a relaxed atmosphere.
C. G.
Love this place. The beer selection is fantastic, with a constantly rotating list of guest beers. The BrewDog beers themselves are always intriguing as well. At the moment they have a guest BBQ vendor which is pretty good though portions are a little underwhelming. Check out the downstairs if you're after a beer cocktail.
C. R.
Nice atmosphere and good, reasonable priced beer. Barkeepers are friendly n know what they do. Place was busy but not to crowded. Musik was loud but you can have conversations. Downstairs unfortunately not air-conditioned and therefore quit warm n humit. Can recommend.
m. c.
This is now one of my favourite pubs ever. It has some of the best, award winning beers on tap, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are super helpful and even their security guys are friendly when you shut down the place.
I actually lost my wallet here and the opening staff were very helpful in getting it back to me. That was going above and beyond in my books.
S. B.
Boasts a fantastic array of beer, both from their own selection and also a good number of guest beers. We didn't eat but the burgers looked good too. Very popular - we went on a Friday evening and it was busy but service was still pretty quick. Worth popping in for a pint of Elvis Juice before visiting Dilshoom round the corner.
S. A.
It's a great place to stop off for a speciality beer or IPA. Gets quite a pretentious crowd so if that bothers you then don't go. They stock some gems in their fridges too so make sure you check that out. Gets really busy so you can struggle to find a seat but if you so they are comfy. Great for large groups as they have some big booths in the windows. Not sure if you can book them...
A.
Huge selection of house brews as well as guest brews which often changes so there's something for everyone !
R. A.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of BrewDog ales....but I can appreciate this bar. Lots of tables, really nice atmosphere and a great 'hidden' bar downstairs that serves beer cocktails (sounds odd, but worth trying a few!) along with a good selection of guest ales.
B. G.
Brewdog get 5 stars because the staff here are always happy, probably because they pay the staff a proper hourly rate.
Very nice selection of drinks. It's always a good atmosphere in this bar.
Very close to Brick Lane, so a good stop after a day exploring the area.

Time after time this bar has impressed me. Not only with their beer selection, but also with their knowledge and service. I could list out the times they have gone above and beyond but I don't need to ramble on. On that note, don't get me started on how much I like their craft cocktail bar below, underdog. From the creative drinks with beer reductions to the old timey speak easy feel with ambience, old blues music (both live and on the PA) and dapper dressed workers. It's a win across the board.
J. H.
Awesome bar! You won't find your usual bland tasteless beers here and stands out from bars in the surrounding area. Good selection of BrewDog beers, plus unusual and exciting beers from around the world, in a chilled atmosphere! Today they have three chocolate beers!
M. O.
Showed up. No booking. Managed to sit 6 people outside immediately. Ordered drinks through web. Drinks arrived after 5 mins. Legends

This place is a great spot to hang out with your mates. The staff behind the bar really know their stuff and will guide you to the beer you need most in your life. There is also a cool beer vending machine if you know what you want, but don't want to wait in the queue. It's attracts an eclectic mix of people which contributes to the chilled vibe.
J. R.
Like most other Brew Dog pubs - wide selection of their own brews available, served in a clean and funky décor setting. Big enough to get a decent sized group in.
S. G.
Again Friendly staff
Good choice of drinks
But …

Not my favourite Brewdog... Beers are good and so is the food but the actual place seemed to be lacking in the Brewdog spark, in the decor and in the staff. They haven't even bothered updating the signage of taps to the new logo, and the toilets are horrible. But! It's still nicer than most other bars I've been to these days and the beers good so I'd come definitely back if I was in the area... Just maybe not make the detour to come next time. :)
S. R.
Great barmaid who was very knowledgeable about her beers, recommended me a beautiful one, cheers 🍻
k. v.
24 different beers but only IPAs. Allways full.
A. A.
We went to Brew Dog on a Saturday and it was amazing! We sat outside and Dave the manager came out and immediately took our order. He was super knowledgeable about London and gave us great tips. Dave and the staff were amazing - props to all of them!! We are going back for our family reunion in September!!
C. T.
Great beer, amazing and knowledgeable staff and nice food too all at decent prices for the area. Can sometimes be busy but worth the wait if you've not been before. I recommend going mid week if you want to sample all the beers in the comfort of a seat.
M. P.
A good brewdog, relatively spacious when you get downstairs but quite hard to get to the bar upstairs as there's a bit of a bottleneck due to the table layout. Downstairs is pretty dark, all the time, which is okay in the evening but during the day it could do with being a bit brighter. Staff as always are excellent. 3 stars mainly for the bottleneck and darkness downstairs - it's still a perfectly good bar, but there are other brewdogs better laid out that I prefer.
J. M.
The downstairs part of the bar is great. Better than most brewdog basements which can often feel cold and uninviting. Perfect for a boozy working lunch or meeting up with friends before a night out. The unisex toilet in a cupboard feels cozy, as much as it can for a toilet. Overall it is a standard Brewdog boozer and well worth a visit.
J.
A feature of Brewdogs is that they vary. The beer here is as good as you'd expect. But it's often packed, loud, and very male group dominated. Cocktail bar downstairs, good but can take a while to get served.
C. F.
Amazing food, especially the wings. The drink selection is also fantastic if you're looking for a beer and the menu changes daily. The staff are very friendly.
K. B.
Amazing beers on tap and in the cooler here! Very friendly and helpful staff for recommendations, bar snacks are available, and the vibe of this place is very cool. One of a very few places in London that had "American" style IPAs and much more, don't miss this place!
R. S.
Brewdog pub always has selection of amazing beers and always very busy. I wasn't really well when K went there last night a d felt like tk have skme hot drinks, although I didn't expect they have any, but apparently they do have coffee and the standard English tea! After sipping the hot and warming tea, then I was ready for their beer. 🍻
They have the beers on tap change periodically, ao I can't suggest much about this. However, my personal favourites are eother imperial stout or this lovely not-to-sour dark sour beer. The good thing about this bar is that if you're unsure about what you wanted, you can always ask them to try a bit before you buy. 😉
K. C.
Quality as with all brewdog bars. Even bumped into the founder and had a beer and a photo.
D. v. R.
They've got a lot of great beers on tap, and a big collection from the fridge as well. You've got your classic Brewdog bar area, a nice terrace and a downstairs area where you could watch things like football or enjoy the more cozy area with a group of friends.
J. C.
26, male. Jack Daniels lover, part time lager drinker. Since visiting here and glugging their Elvis Juice, I've become a budding ale drinker. Nice place to sit outside and watch cool people. Highly recommended for any vaguely open minded alcohol drinkers
M. A.
The vegan food here never disappoint and the pints (variety and taste) are great. Like that there's also a good non alcoholic selection.
J. Z.
I can't fault the staff as they make this place run very smoothly, despite it being overloved, at times. The selection of craft beers will please most everyone.
A.
Friendly staff
Dog friendly
Tasty food
Excellent range of beers
L. R.
Huge selection of Brewdog beers (at a considerable expense, compared to Wetherspoons & supermarkets) with an excellent food menu focused around beef and vegan burgers.
Lovely casual atmosphere, great for a quick lunch or dining out in Shoreditch without breaking the bank (so long as you don't buy too many £6 pints!)
A. B.
Just as great as any other Brewdog. Beware the level changes on the way in. Mostly younger crowd thanks most locations (because Shoreditch). Downstairs is much more spacious than expected with a considerable sized bar. You can collect a beer from the fridge and then pay at the bar which is a good way to avoid tying up a bartender with your inevitable ponderence at the fridge beers.
A. V.
I've been here plenty of times before and really liked their beer selection but last week I did a Beer tasting and lessons which my friend found on Groupon. It was very interesting, I think it was Marco, who works there told about all the different beer types they brew and the difference between them, how they're made, etc and me and my friend found this very informative as we now know why we like certain types of ales or just beer generally better than others. Everything he explained made sense, not like the brewery tours where even if you walk around and see things they still don't make that much sense. So all in all, excellent beer selection and this extra activity makes me like Brewdog a lot.
E. Z.
Good bar, nice crowd, good pit stop on route to other Shoreditch fun. Lost a star for only having alcohol free beer in the special fridge which you then had to pay £2 corkage fee on making it more expensive than an actual beer.
J. T.
I like BrewDog. The atmosphere is always lively, sometimes it's too rammed though. Maybe I'm just old.
Best beer was the Brixton Porter. Possibly the nicest porter I've had. Strong though.
Downstairs is quieter and dimmer lit but the beer is as good.
k.
Pretty standard brewdog although menu looked a little more extensive. (Didn't eat)
R. B.
I've been to many Brewdog pubs and this is one of my favourite. Visited it on a Saturday night and it was really busy. Didn't have to wait to long at the bar to get a drink. Lots of niche decor inside and good outside area for smokers
R. L.
Laid back atmosphere with a broad selection of excellent craft beers on offer which are constantly rotated. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, but the real draw here was the pop-up kitchen in residency when I visited serving authentic American hot dogs which were worth the trip alone. Great place to start a night out in Shoreditch!
B. T.
Lovely vibe at this quite little bar. Wasn't too busy and people were friendly
W. M.
Great location, not as crazy busy as you might expect, with an excellent selection of frequently changing beers to suit any palette. Been a few times and always happy to return.
K. S.
Love the selection of beer available here. The "secret" bar downstairs is awesome
M. N.
A great selection of beers... almost too much choice and overwhelming. Have a paddle of small beer tasters to test out different beers either of your own selection or what the staff recommend. Location is good too, right on the intersection with Brick Lane, and not far from Columbia Road.
D. G. (.
Always a pleasure to eat here, the staff are always friendly and ready to help, sometimes the burgers are a little over cooked for my liking, as I would prefer them medium rare, but they do not take order on how you like them, but they do have a great selection of beers and the wings are lovely. Also the blue cheese sauce for the wings is some of the best around.
J. C.
Some of the best beers I've found so far in London! Solid selection on draft and in bottles.
Small outdoor area that's sure to be full if the weather is halfway decent. Ample seating inside.
R. M.
Huge variety of interesting beers on offer. However at a price. Good bar but certainly didn't set my world on fire. Classic arcade games downstairs had been removed last time I visited.
S. D.
I have been there with there my friends after an hard day at the office. The local beer brewed onsite is outstanding. I particularly recommend the punk IPA that has a really hoppy taste. Food on the other hand is slightly average as the choices a re pretty limited. There is a s small patio area but unfortunately it gets packed quite quickly, so better to get there early.
N. J.
Decent table service, tasty burgers and you can never go wrong with all the various craft IPA on offer. Always good to go to a brewdog!
I. K.
Fun cute little bar with board games and ample seating space. But needs to expand drinks selection for non-beer fans!!!!! I know it's called brew dog..but some people might go there only because they're dragged along by their friends, and are really wanting a nice mocktail or a Moscato or at least just a good juice or something!!!!!
S. R.
Great place, top notch beers, always a good crowd. Whenever I visit, I usually also try to go to Underdog, their somewhat hidden cocktail lounge. Killer cocktails, not too noisy, great for conversation with friends and colleagues alike and always a good vibe. Recommended.
G. G.
Always a must when in Shorditch. I love being able to get my favourite brand on tap. Love the way they have k9 rehydration zones so you can bring your dog to the pub. Great idea
R. W.
The team were really accommodating to my friend who is currently in a wheelchair. They made it easy for us to get to our seats.
R. S.
Great beer selection. The Brewdog core beers no longer hold any surprise or delight for me, but a constantly rotating selection of guests keeps things interesting. Service was a bit meh on the night I was in – a few times I was kept waiting despite the fact that I was sitting at the bar – but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment.
J. J.
Nice atmosphere. Haven't even tried their beers yet but pretty great bar food! I had the dog with aioli sauce. It was some of the best bar grub I've had yet.
M. “. O. K.
Unless you've been living under a rock you'll know Brewdog have a great array of 'craft' beers and this branch is no exception. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, as you'd expect. Food is more miss than hit and served up at a premium. Gents toilet is tiny.
L. G.
Great food, great beer. Would have been 5 stars but there was a bit of confusion over what had been ordered/timing of food coming out of the kitchen. Overall good night out though, will definitely return.
S. T.
This was formally Mason & Taylor, but taken over by the awesome guys at BrewDog. The bar has a brilliant beer menu and even offers the most expensive beer in the world at £500 a pop (served inside a stuffed squirrel). The best tip here though is to head downstairs to the UnderDog bar which is a lot cozier with a dark candle-lit environment. The staff will take orders at your table all night long and demand no service charge. Amazing!
P.
Lock on unisex toilet broke, no hook on door to hang coat. Just little things like that need sorting but great service overall thanks.
U. G.
One of the most interesting bars in London, "2nd best BrewDog of London" in their own words. Tried drinks, 16% Tokyo beer was really good, other IPAs and dark beers were also not bad. Not a big fan of pizza though. Enough place to gather a lot of people with 2 floors. Location is near to Shoreditch H. St. overground.
R. W.
Great selection of beer as you'd expect. Friendly and accommodating staff. Didn't eat myself, but the food being served looked and smelled really nice.
P. H.
I'm not much of a beer drinker, but the real beauty of this place is the basement bar. They have a handful of beers in the basement (a much more robust selection upstairs) but a wide variety of American whiskeys. Don't bother asking for vodka, gin, tequila, or other spirits downstairs. American whiskeys only! If you like bourbon and rye, this unassuming basement is one of the best places in all of London to visit.
J. M. A. T.
Outstanding staff, beer and food! Awesome music, really nice place for drinks with friends and good food either you're omnivore, vegetarian or vegan.
S. W.
Great spot for a drink especially if you can get a seat outside. It can be a bit noisy inside at times and expect London prices for drinks. They do have a great selection of beers on tap.
M. C.
Best IPA and Burger in town!
P. D.
Big selection of awesome beers at tap and bottle.
I won't recommend the food if you except something exceptional that really basic selection of hot wings and burger.
The first and second floor are quite huge and you can organise cheerful leaving do.
C. M.
Beer is why you go here, great beer is what you're going to get!
For the number of people that frequent the venue, bar staff are really attentive and just generally friendly.
Only stayed for 10 days in Shoreditch but went to Brewdog for a quick bevvy at least 3 times.
A. H.
Great range of good beer at reasonable prices. Fast, efficient service. We found somewhere to sit, chat and chill despite the bar being full. No overbearing music and a fun crowd.
R. H.
Nice Brewdog just around the corner from Brick Lane. Helpful and friendly staff. I had my first Punk AF which was surprisingly good. Lots of comfy seating.
s. k.
If you like brewdog, go here ..
M. W.
Yes, this is a pub, but I come here mostly for their burgers, which are out of this world. I've already tried all of them and I must say they're just amazing. Of course, the beers they offer are also really good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and always happy to spend some having a chat with you.
A.
Surprisingly spacious, once you discover the basement seating, Brewdog Shoreditch manages to do a lot with its space. Even on a busy night, the venue remains feeling cozy and welcoming. Beer selection is exactly what you'd expect from a BD, with a bottle fridge that matches that of larger locations. Staff is generally pretty awesome and ready to offer recommendations. Like most BD's, even though it retains a certain ... Brewdogginess ... a particular BD je ne sais quois, it also manages to pick up a bit of local flavour, feeling very much at home in Shoreditch.
M. I.
Great bar, awesome beer selection!
n. p.
Every BrewDog pub that I've been to has been good, none more so than the Shoreditch instalment. Snacks are good, service is good and there is definitely an atmosphere (more specifically drunken grown-up students shouting at each other). The beer however is of the top notch and always carries a strong brand message ie beer for punks. It's a good idea to drink half pints here and try as much variety as possible.
A. P.
Great beer selection from a wholly privately owned Scottish brewing and marketing duo. Just brilliant beer on tap. The American bar downstairs serves American APA and other craft beer from small American brewers in tap as well as an extensive range if sippin' whisky and bourbon.
A. H.
I like what Brewdog are doing and often drink their beers. So it's great to have a place - in a handy location - that serves nothing but.
Maybe grumpy barstaff is part of their vibe but it does kinda get old.
In any case this is somewhere I'll gladly have a few.
J. S.
If you´re interested in craft beers this place has a good selection. The food changes every month (or so) and has always been good from my experience. Be warned, the beer is tasty but carries a high ABV.
L. H.
Food was good, but it took almost an hour to make a couple hot dogs. They gave us two free beers to make up for it though. I don't think the hot dogs were worth £8.
M. F.
Nice bar with bear that they brew themselves. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food is actually very good too - we had a few of their pizzas.
L. D. S. C.
Great start of the Saturday evening! Special thanks to Alana, -because of misunderstanding we didn't have enough chairs for our reservation but she solved that quick as possible, and she also gave us beers on the house as an apology. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!
N. L.
Just popped in for quick pint. Seemed to be bustling bar with good atmosphere. In terms of beer selection and decor - fairly typical offering from brewdog's chain of bars.
S. E.
Big brew dog fan so finally thought I'd make my way over (I was also thinking about investing a bit too). Read the "craft beer for the people" and have been going on a brewing adventure, trying as many as I can from them.
Disappointed.
One beer on tap. Staff chatting to each other and not very welcoming . 5 quid or so for a can . I can get the cans anywhere...i want to try brewdog stuff on tap.
Even wetherspoons sell Elvis juice now (one of my favourites) and I didn't feel the decor and ambience were worth the extra few quid. Will try others and hopefully the hotel but this one not for me.
A. M.
This place gets packed because it's at a great hip location and has great craft beers on tap. Mostly BrewDog beers of course with a few guest taps. Very large bottle selection!
D.
Good place. Three stars indicates a perfectly fine review. Five stars is good place, probably undiscovered and under-appreciated and probably surprising value (i.e. low price or something equivalent). People are not understanding this on the review platforms. Most great, successful businesses with fixed scale should converge to three stars because they will simply increase price, not grow in size and will be popular and crowded. This is a fact of life.
V. F.
Nice craft beer and a cool space. Also open until late when everything around is closing ! Already tried some snacks and burgers which are very good, need to try next time the pizza!
G. W.
Not knowing about BrewDog is a mistake to those seeking a bar with as many uniquely flavoured and brewed beers as possible. The Scottish brewery has opened two bars in London – with a third on the way – and several more spotted around the UK. Keeping to the theme of punk attitude throughout its branding and marketing techniques – including hiring a tank, which is more militaristic than Camden's used to, but still stands out – its bars offer no high-nose snobbery to anyone inexperienced with different kinds of beer. All of the staff are great to chat to, and have no problems answering questions like "What's a hop do?" – though refrain asking if it's packed. Downstairs is the UnderDog cocktail bar, whipping up beer-infused drinks. Up top is a big selection of beers, both from the brewery and from abroad, and a small menu of fancy hot dogs. The music is right for the setting of Shoreditch – a bit of cool, a bit of rock, but not rubbing your nose in it for not knowing the band.
T. M.
Took husband & 2 grown up sons to "Beer School " totally blown away by the instructors depth of knowledge of brewing & beer both technically & historically . Superb experience recommended to many friends.
J. S.
Really great food selection for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. Good quality and really good portion sizes. Brewdog is amazing and the beer is just great. This brewdog doesn't have a merchandise shop.
D.
Busy and big. This Brewdog is even "trendier" than others around London. Not eaten here but as always the beer is great and the staff have generally good banter.
B. P.
Can be quite crowded on weekends (I've seen a queue, it's just a bar, people...). The beer is great, and there's a good variety of strengths and sizes. There's an extra bar bit in the basement but there's often an entrance fee to get in that part. There's an N64 at one of the tables, which is an unusual touch.
C. H.
Great choice of craft beers and a nice atmosphere. Gets pretty crowded on the weekend. You come here for the beer, not the food though. The chicken wings were literally the saltiest thing I've ever eaten.
D. D.
haven't had the food, but they have an excellent beer selection and a much more mellow atmosphere than many other places in the area. lots of IPAs on tap as well as other selections fromt their brewery in scotland, plus an assortment of guest beers to choose from.
G. N.
Tasty British beers, definitely a refreshing change from regular pub selections. Good food too even if the wings came out so hot we couldn't touch them for a while. Friendly cool staff.
J. B.
Nice place (apart from the toilets, where less really isn't more) and a good selection of beers. And only beers. When I went there was only one draught cider on offer, which was a shame. But maybe that's the point of the place?
C. F.
Very pleased to see the craft beer scene grow in in London and BrewDog is an excellent contributor to landscape. The Punk IPA is my go-to brew, light, hoppy and full of flavor. This location has outdoor seating, unlike it's counterpart in Shepard's Bush.
U. G.
Always good selection of beers. The only thing that wasn’t too good was the staff. The guy (short with loads of facial hair, grey beanie and yellow jumper) that served me seemed miserable, made the atmosphere there uncomfortable. I know it sucks working on a weekend but it’s called customer service...
d. c.
This is one of my favourite joints in the area. The area downstairs is constantly changing though. I really used to like it when they had the arcade games. But thats been now replaced with more formal booths. The beer is still good though so it remains a top place.
P. V.
Great selection of brew dog and guest taps
v.
One of my go to places. Fantastic beer. Very wide variety and an always changing beer menu. The design of the place invites people to socialise. It is a pub for young people and it is full of energy.
A. B.
this pub fits nicely into the area. Cool, laid back and a great selection of beers from craft brewery's all over the UK, USA and Europe. They have a bar downstairs as well which comes into its own on the weekends. Food is in the form of street food with the likes of hotdogs or steak baguettes depending on who they have in to cook by the entrance.
Well woryh a trip for the beers or as part of trip round the area for craft beer
P. G.
I'm a big fan of BrewDog! Great bar space for a drink, love the range of own beers mixed up with a few guest beers. Worth a visit when you're near one!
J. L.
Excellent beer, good food and a varied clientele which for trendy Shoreditch is a positive. The staff are helpful, human and paid a living wage. Still, worth tipping them to take beer service to the next level.
L. R. S.
One of my favourite BrewDog bars! (And I’ve been to many) lovely bar staff- especially Endora who is always super informed on the beers and happy to chat you through what they have on
H. G.
A great place with lots of good beers and friendly staff. I really like the food however beer is a bit pricyy but apart from it can not fault it
T. C.
The redesigned layout means that this BrewDog can now accommodate more people. Wide variety of beers as ever, friendly staff that will more often than not try a beer with you and give their thoughts.
Z. P.
It's not as cool as their Aberdeen or Glasgow branches but if you're a BrewDog fan already, you'll probably like this place. With their tongue firmly in cheek (underneath the toilet sign, it says 'this is where the magic happens'), they make super strong beer (and even a lager called Fake Beer) with names like Trashy Blonde and Tactical Nuclear Penguin. You can also grab some toasties if you're peckish, or some Salty Dog crisps. There's a little outside area, booths, high tables, board games, witty sayings painted on the walls... and usually at least 20 men to every 1 woman!
R. M.
Fridays a re busy but that's because there is a large and enjoyable range of ales made by the superb Brewdog company.
this is the second venture and their first in the east of the capital, and it's a great space which is easyt to find people in and a good starting pub.
some ales are a bit pricey, and some are very strong so keep an eye on what you order as you may suddenly be drunker than you thought.
D. W.
More recent 'sister' pub to their Camden location. To be honest I've only had snacky type food here so can't really comment but the decor is nice - very modern feel with metallic bar, exposed brickwork, etc. Beers are top notch, mostly in the US pale ale sort of style (think strong and hoppy!) with everything on keg rather than cask. Still a good selection so if you're into your beers then I would definitely give it a go.
A. K.
A great spot for a beer or fancy soda. We went at lunch time and it was a good atmosphere. There's two levels, and it was easy to have a conversation. I like.
A. B.
My friend and I went to BrewDog in shoreditich for after work drink, at first we were not sure about that bar, but we went in anyway and it was already packed, evidently it was popular place for drinks. Really enjoy the atmosphere, and the food (Halloumi Pizza) was soooo top! I’ll definitely come back!
A. G.
Busy bar, bit too hipster for my tastes. Good selection of brew dog's best beers. The sour raspberry bear was brilliant.
M. G.
I am a BrewDog shareholder and do love their bars - especially the ones in Scotland, but this one seemed to have over 9000 hipsters in it, I guess that goes with the location. Epic beer of course.
Edit: visited on a Monday, much quieter and I'd rather go then ;-) also visit the secret level
P.
My favourite beer? PUNK IPA , but is always good to go to Brew Dog to discover something new they have on draft!
The guy behind the counter was good and passionate about beer: I tried few before choosing talking about flavour ecc.. MOLTO BUONO !
E. H.
Nice place, great selection. All the classics and a few cold friends as well. Looks like they have good burgers and fries as well.
J. N.
It's BrewDog. What can I say? Excellent service and great variety. I recommend the Pineapple Coconut Crumb if you want something refreshing.
C. A.
A smaller Brewdog, the staff member helping us was on his first day, gave a few tasters when he noticed our tasting flight had one beer/cider that didn't line up with the others
V. C.
Brilliant atmosphere, good draft beer and friendly stuff. Probably a bit crowded on Saturday night. I really loved the arcade games in the lower floor, a jump to the '80/90 also cause the music.
K. C.
Comfy, well laid out and with excellent selection of beers. Very friendly staff. Food was a tiny bit pricy for what you got, but tasty and hot.
C. K.
Bustling chain serving good beers and food. Cosy atmosphere.
M. W.
A decent bar with a very good beer selection and outdoor area. It can get crowded but generally doesn't feel overly cramped. There is an N64 set up with games in one of the booths inside.
B. D.
Go early to get a table on the weekends. Staff are fun and beverages not obscenely proved. Often have a few guest beers and are happy to offer tasters.
M. G.
Great choice of beers, but incredibly slow service. Bar staff are more interested in chatting to each other than serving and they don't keep an eye on who is next, which is annoying.
A. T.
Great selection of beers, and the food is pretty good as well. Staff are friendly and will help you choose which of the (many!) beers to try
A. S.
Great as always! Better than the classic pub!
C. L.
Nice, cool, chilled place. Good service and beer
G. M.
Well it's BrewDog so you know the beer is always going to be good. My only problem is that it's always so bloody noisy that it's hard to hold a conversation. But hey that's just me I guess. If you are looking for a "lively" atmosphere then it's probably right down your street.
Definitely check out downstair.
J. B.
Good beer selection, TERRIBLE food. Don't get the food! Dry salty burgers without enough relish. My burger didn't arrive but I was happy after tasting what my friends ordered. They all hated their food.
U. A. V.
Good location with indoor and outdoor seating. Having been to other Brewdog bars, I was sort of disappointed by the selection but it may have just been an off day. Either way, you just can't complain about Brewdog beers.
W. P.
Typical of a craft beer joint. Knowledgeable barman good beer and a relaxed atmosphere. They'll also let you try before you buy unlike some places.
L. P.
Great bar selling brewdog brewed beers and they have an underground "secret" bar thats open late.
However slightly spoilt by staff being grumpy about seating so for big groups (>4) then best split up or be happy standing!
A. H.
Very good. Surprised no staples of jet black heart or zombie cake but coffee caramel curfew was a nice change. Humulous helmsman was very different but also nice
S. D.
Good beer, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. Everything you'd expect from a BrewDog pub. Try the spiced cider for Christmas!
B. N.
Excellent food and drink. Really enjoy coming here
S. B.
Same Brewdog quality as I've experienced in other bars. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great food menu with a lot of beers on tap.
A. C.
Great selection of beers and quick service. Large, bright space with loads of room. Perfect for discovering new beer on a lazy Saturday afternoon!
M. B.
Best beers ever, fantastic friendly staff.
D. F.
Not bad, nice smoking area, brewdog beer is expensive but relatively serviceable ales. Good staff.
M. H.
Good beer, service was somewhat slow despite the place not being busy. App works well though, and it's easy to maintain social distancing.
A. M.
This will really be a two part review - Part 1 is for Brewdog and Part 2 is for Underdog. What's the difference? Well guess you'll just have to read on to find out!
Brewdog Shoreditch is, quite obviously, the Shoreditch branch of the popular Brew Dog bar in Camden. This time they've set themselves up in much bigger digs which means a larger bar, less waiting, and a much more comfortable setting for groups. There is even a sizeable outside seating area for you smokers to enjoy your beer while indulging in another vice at the same time.
The beer, as to be expected, is spectacular and all brewed in house (well not literally in house but you know what I mean). The Tokyo is probably my beer of choice for a dark regular drinking beer. It's full bodied with a bitter undertone so not the easiest of beers to go for but a very good choice for the slow sipping style. Or if in the mood to get a buzz a little faster, the 32% Tactical Nuclear Penguin (they must have so much fun naming these beers) is essentially the beer equivalent of a whiskey and should be sipped slowly and appreciated.
The core offerings of the Dead Pony Club and the 5am Saint are fan favourites and good for when you expect to have a bigger (volume wise at least) night out. I am curious to try this new Abstrakt range of corked beers that Brewdog is developing but sadly they weren't on offer yet when I was last there.
Next, we come to Underdog which is a chill cocktail bar underneath Brewdog Shoreditch and accessible through a hidden panel at the bottom of a staircase inside. To get down there, grab the nearest Brewdog staffer and ask to be taken downstairs. Do not, as we did, sneak downstairs and stampede in 20 strong as that completely ruins the atmosphere Underdog is trying to maintain. Still, they were quite nice about it and luckily it was fairly empty (it was the soft-launch at the time).
Underdog is set up more as a southern jive bar with jazz music and an entire section dedicated to a Voodoo theme. It's a bit freaky but strangely attractive in a "I'm creeped out but I can't look away" sort of way.
The cocktails revolve around the Brewdog beers offered upstairs and the end result are some very tasty and unique items. I don't want to give away much of the cocktail list as this is a case where trying it out is the best way to really experience it and I think you'll lose some of the effect by knowing ahead of time. I will say this is the alcoholic equivalent of Heston's approach as you read the description, your mind forms an idea of what it will be like, and then it turns out to be quite a bit different but in a very pleasing way.
The main takeaway is that you should get your butt over to Brewdog and Underdog. They are the latest and possibly one of the greatest examples of why East London is the place to be.
K.
Great beer, great place, they make you go outside or down at 1am, sorry they close too soon, also kitchen closes 10pm so if you wanna snack something you will have to go somewhere else
M. G. F.
Plenty of tasty beers and the nice and fun staff will help you which one fits with you today !
Thank you so much guys for guiding me always!
Cheers for you ´´
N. P.
Great beer and usual, slightly confusing contact tracing checking in which frankly can be added to the table menu when ordering
W. P.
Great selection of beers and ales, two floors to prance about around. Good atmosphere and an alright playlist. Worth a visit for at least one if you are in the area.
G. N.
Speaker too loud. Staff very East London. Do I have to serve you. Toilets could've better. Beer, pretty good
D. C.
The chicken and waffles are to die for !! Staff super friendly and the beers / IPAs up to their usual standards....top afternoon.
S. C.
Great bar tenders and, obviously great beers! If you are around don't hesitate to go inside and order at least one beer!
J. N.
Okay selection of beer but expensive. Slow service. Nothing amazing but decent enough to stop by for a drink if in the area.
J. V.
Cool vibe! The staff is really knowledgeable about their beers and will let you sample them. Got to try a few different beers.
I. L.
Love this place! Abstrakt 22 is a work of art!
N. P.
Great Brewdog bar, fridges are nice and accessible. It's not my favourite Brewdog, but they do have some very strong and interesting beers on tap
G. S.
This is one of the best bars I've ever been to. Brew Dog beer is world class and this is a terrific setting. Great food as well. Tots are nearing perfection.
C. B.
Really cool vibes in a really nice place. Drinks are superb. Not sure about the Hot dog I had but their Chicken wings were lit!
j. G.
Amazing beers, but fries too greasy and oily:/
M. H.
For those who like a craft brew, this is a great place to sample some truely tasy and unique drops. The IPA (punk) is a favourite drop and it delivers with fruity hoppy notes all the way. The food is simple and tasty, cheese and meat boards suited the beer well. Thoroughly enjoyed beating my family at Jenga.
D. B.
Good selection of Brewdog Tap, Guest Tap and a big selection of bottles and cans. Nice atmosphere, outside seating. Close to Overground services.
E.
Great selection of beers - closest you'll get to a Belgian pub in London. Good atmosphere and decent food
S. C.
The beer is second-to-none (as you would expect from Brewdog) although for some reason it doesn't seem to have quite the same feel as the Camden bar. The staff are helpful and there is the added benefit of the speak-easy but as great as it is, I'd still point folks in the direction of the Camden bar for the true Brewdog experience.
A. G.
Very nice. Busy, which is good, but means you might not get a seat. Well-placed in Shoreditch for going elsewhere. There's a bar underneath ('Underdog') which is worth a look too.
d. b.
All the staff is so gentle and the quality of the beers are impressive.... A bit less impressive was the food prices.. Could be a bit cheaper.... Great place by the way 👌
P. O.
Good pub, great beer served nice and cold. BrewDog Punk IPA is highly recommend
K. J.
Cool craft beer place with traditional Brewdog assortment and also guest breweries on tap. Recommended! 🙂
M. W.
Nice bar with very good beer range
B.
Beers are always great here.... Loved the food!! Good place to come in groups and try different beers
K. C.
Good beers! Punk IPA is a classic and most the other beers are boundry pushers. Definitely worth the visit for beer lovers
P. E.
One of the best brewdog bars, good atmosphere and staff that aren’t too stuck up!
S. P.
Good beers, really friendly stuff and dog lovers! Chill place where to have few drinks, definitely recommend if you are around!
B. W.
If you want alcohol free beer BrewDog is the place to go. Also very cool laid back vibe.
J. F.
Pretty good beer selection but don't waste your time with anything > 10% ABV they just don't taste anywhere near as good as their other offerings.
S. A.
Good beer, but the hamburger was pretty bad. It's a big pice of compressed meet and instead of being easy to eat it's a hard pice of meat.
M. G.
Great beer choice and nice and friendly staff. The burger were good, the beer even better! will come again
T. P.
Good beer and food. It is always very crowded.
A. S.
Wish the kitchen was open. Great place and friendly human people who let me use the loo when I needed it the most.
Thanks Brewdog Shoreditch.
C.
I really liked this place! I loved that downstairs they have several arcade games and plenty of seating space. They have some outdoor space out front, not too spacious. Service is quite friendly, prices are OK.
K. P. (.
When Craft Beer Rising sold out early I had no intentions of throwing in the towel and sulking at home - so instead I went to BrewDog. We got a Punk IPA and a Libertine Black Ale - which were served fresh, on tap and tasted great - just what you'd expect from a BrewDog bar. We were also hungry and they serve Big Apple Hot Dogs, so lunch was a no-brainer. I got the Huge Pole (with a name like that how could I resist? The jokes were non-stop.) and my boyfriend opted for another, smaller hot dog (the Big Dog) that was equally tasty even though it did look a pre-mature next to my HUGE POLE. The bartender was also great, advising us on toppings for our hot dogs ("The Huge Pole is Polish, so it's screaming out for sauerkraut...") and engaging in some light, friendly banter. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and I'll totally be back again soon!
M. L.
Incredible beer, nice pub. Putting 4 stars because they used to have a great selection of food, and now for some unknown reason they cut the menu to 4-5 items.
S. D.
Belter wee joint. I went with a bunch of work mates for a meeting. Can't remember what the meeting was about now but the beer was outstanding. Staff great bunch too, couple fellas and a girl all full of bants!
A. G. U.
The stuff is super friendly. If you are a beer liver this is the place for you. IPA specially has a wide range to choose.
M. A.
This was the first BrewDog pub I ever visited about 12 years ago, still has the charm and great staff - beer choice is great
R. S.
Great range of beers. Even some the non beer drinkers in the group liked. Could gave done with more staff though as quite a wait to be served.
M. A.
Have you been to a BrewDog pub? If so, it's just like the one you went to. A bit like the disused factory where Terminator met his end but with beer instead of rampaging androids. Mad Max. Blade Runner. Get ready. Take off your CAMRA badges, put on your beer goggles and dive right into the dystopian future of beer. Oh, and 'yes', you can turn up with your dog - of course.
I. W.
Good beers, nice staff. Smaller variety than the Soho branch, but still a lot to choose from. Outside seating area available.
P. G.
Great service!
J. O.
Went in and had the Electric India and also sampled the AB23 (11.5%) and the Hop Shot (20%) - great atmosphere, loads of seats on a Saturday afternoon and quick service, will be back!
J. H.
A really nice bar. Incredible selection of beers and a fun vibe.
Head downstairs for a booth and grab a board game or card game from behind the bar and settle in for a messy night.
D. S. M.
Great place if you like beer as their selection is wide. Not so good if someone in your group doesn't like beer as they lack in other drinks.
L. Z.
Wide choice of brewdog beer that you won’t find in other places. Very noisy but nice location and helpfull staff
L. H.
Was nice to try a brewdog on tap for the first time. Seating was about adequate though it was a busy Saturday night. Can't complain about the service at all.
J. L.
Very knowledgeable staff that could walk us through all the different types of beers. Also very clean and well designed
N. B.
This place has a nice selection of beers. The burgers are also very good and the staff is friendly. Would recommend :)
M. K.
Wonderful places with fresh and tasty crafts. Might be a bit pricey for some, but it's a must for beer lovers. Plenty of space inside.
J. B.
You already know what's on offer drinks wise, booth seating inside and downstairs, little patio out front. And a vending machine if the queue is too much to bare, doubt it, or you fancy the novelty.
T. B.
Was there midweek but the place still had a good buzz going on. Great selection of beer as would be expected from one of the best brewers in the UK
A. K.
Very good BrewDog and guest beer selection. It gets quite busy in the evenings and weekends, so it's difficult to find a table.
Q. C.
London outpost for the now world famous Scottish independent brewer. If you love whiskey and have tried their whiskey cask aged beer you would never forget this place
A. D.
Great pub and some awesome beer not just from Brewing but other breweries. Staff always very knowledgeable on beers.
A. O.
The beer is, obviously, great. The atmosphere is lovely amd the food good. Too bad we had to wait for 40 minutes for two burgers.
L. O.
Very nice place with a lot of good house beers. You can spend all night trying them and meeting new people. Sometimes there is a band playing downstairs.
K. L.
Great beer but not cheap! Try the quadruple IPA Hop Shot coming in at 20% it's a powerful tipple!
C. M.
Great variety of drinks to try, but it's very pricey. Food is okay. Service not that friendly.
E. E.
Good selection of very nice beers and the staff were friendly enough, however, only 3 on the entire menu were under £5 a pint.
N. C.
This place is always packed, but the beer is always flowing, the staff is understanding, and the vegan buffalo cauliflower wings make it all worth it.
N. H.
Great BrewDog and local beers, really good range, DJ didn’t have to be so loud downstairs on a Friday night when no one really cared.
D. T.
Staff and venue is amazing but the individuals that hang around outside the establishment are some what fruity and ferel. Love your beers guys and girls but employ door staff!
A. B.
Fun funky place with excellent beer. On the pricey side but worth it as it's a good place to hangout.
V. T.
Lovely pub, great selection of beers, and super friendly stuff! Went there during one of their pub quizzes and it was a blast!
B. A.
It's a Brewdog. Pretty much like a weatherspoons now, you know what you're getting when you walk in, fairly priced craft beer and a decent selection. Staff are friendly enough
L. O.
Decent part of the Brew dog brand. Music can be a bit intense during the week but always a good selection of guest beers
G. A.
Try the house beers, they are perfect and really worth the price. But what really surprised me was the bar downstairs. Went there in a Saturday and it was happening an old-fashioned dance party. FANTASTIC.
C. S.
Great Brew Dog, lot's of seating downstairs. Great service including table service & big menu selection.
N. H.
Great beers, friendly helpful staff, pretty good size. Good place to chill out and chat with friends over some tasty brewskies.
S. F.
Great place to try really funky craft beers, I tried the Hardcore Pale Ale and it was fantastic (though unfortunately due to its 9% strength, only served in half pint measures)
F. F.
Incredible selection of beer and a cool place in a cool area. Last time we went, 7 guys ordered the 18 beers on tap.
M. K.
Quality beer but super busy, just 1 barmaid for floor and pricey plus music way to loud. Friday evening.
A. H.
The beer is a bit expensive even for London standards. The food is pretty good value in comparison, the wings are highly recommended
P. C.
Good food and good beer. Can't get better for a pub. Food Is burgers, hotdogs and pizzas but all done really well. Price is reasonable.
W. S.
Great selection of beers - especially the novelty brews. Mango and Chilli Lager you say? Smells delicious! Tastes like fire.
S. H.
It's a brewdog. Albeit one of the originals, beer is fresh and nice collaborations but its getting more and more expensive. £6+ for a pint of punk? Not really giving it to the man.
B. A.
Amazing beer (of course), friendly staff and good vibe
R. S.
Great spot to grab Brewdog or other craft beers. Really good food, vegan options, and plenty of room downstairs.
J. E.
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. Saving the 5th star for the wow factor, this bar is pretty standard for shoreditch.
R. W.
Always love a good brewdog pub. Great drinks, friendly staff and the wings were pretty decent too
L. C.
The bar is a must when you are in London. Good selection of brew dog's best beers. My favorite is the Elvis Juice :-)
M. L.
Great selection of tap beer and bottled beer. Very friendly service. Food was very nice
K.
Great location, great staff, nice food #vegan
M. C.
Great selection of beers, when I've been there there was a promotion on the brewdog website and I also got a beer for free!
N. B.
Its OK - apparently getting refurbed, which is probably needed as it has always had a grubby look. Took one of the omnipollo/buxton ice cream series RISs, which was ordinary (maple pecan one), but at least saved me from a flight of brewdog's own muck.
A. B.
Wings Wednesday!
K. M. H.
Great beer selection in a really nice setting... Worth getting a table downstairs
L. E.
Really like Brewdog beer. A great place to have a few pints.
There used to have some arcade in the basement, missed them.
W. C.
The beer selection is obviously Brewdog 'influenced', but you can get drinks other than beer, so it's all good. It's got a good buzzy atmosphere.
R. C.
Good food. Good beer. One bar lady was more interested in her phone but otherwise great night out.
S. L.
Great beer, knowleageable staff. The food can be improved beyond the usual suspects of burgers and chips.
C. K.
Had a great time here. Really good, chill vibes. Great place to sit down and have a beer after walking around the area.
C. H.
Lovely place, friendly staff and really good veggie options. Huge options on the menu for food as well as beer.
B. D.
Good selection of beers, each bar has a different beers. Cool arcade classic games in the basement. Friendly staff.
L. E.
Great unassuming venue. Cool team, good beer from multiple brewers and great atmosphere.
D. B.
Great atmosphere. Great beer, Close to Brick Lane where you can get a bagel after all the strong Beer you will try.
C. M.
Consistent as ever as it isn't as big as my local brew dog it doesn't have as big of an option but still as welcoming and in a great location close to brick lane
s. a. r.
Really nice place with good service. Can get really crowded.
S. H.
I love this bar.
Finally, quality beer in Shoreditch! The staff is knowledgeable , and the beer selection is pretty extensive for what I've seen in London .
Cheers
R.
Great venue, obviously selling at some of the world's best beers, just get in early if you were hoping to find a table.
j. m.
Excellent beers of the famous brand, on tap. Slightly noisy at times, but friendly atmosphere.
A. J.
Very Good beer and very decent food - like any other brewdog location
D. P.
Massive variety of beers which cause splitting head aches the next day. 😂 Well worth a visit but make sure you are not working the next day.
S. B.
Great selection, helpful staff, and decent prices. Nice place to stop in for a pint - not even that crowded on a Saturday.
i. V.
Such amazing IPA's. This place really delivers. The cocktail bar downstairs is also pretty cool!
C. P.
It's BrewDog so your assured of great beer, especially if you're a hop fiend. Just go somewhere else for food (they don't even do any on Monday) and you'll be happy.
A. F.
Another fine offering from the BrewDog team. I can heartily recommend the beer but watch out for the abv some of them will catch you napping.
A. D.
Brilliant bar. The beer selection is (obviously) amazing. The venue and the ambience was perfect and complimented the drink perfectly.
J. B. A.
Good selections of beer, nice staff and nice food.
C. “. B.
Nice variety of craft beers and other tempting drinks. Good atmosphere friendly staff!
T. C.
One of the best places to drink craft beers ! Nice food to eat with.
The bar downstairs is simply awseone ! Maybe a bit expensive, but worth it
R. M.
Great beers, great staff, good atmosphere. Only downside is the layout which has always been a bit awkward.
N. N.
Lovely place, lots of room, great drinks and creative atmosphere. Reasonable prices for drinks too for London and something a bit different!
P. D.
Expensive but extensive beers in bottle and keg. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hipsters sort of place generally.
J. C.
Amazing beers and a great atmosphere, love to stop here for a Punk IPA when around Shoreditch.
A. “. K.
quite expensive. some good beers, watch the strength tho !!
A. G.
It was a nice pub but very slow service. Toobusy talking to regular customers. Beer excellent
T. S.
great as usual, lovely selection for crafted beer lovers and big tasty burgers
V. N.
This is THE BEER you have to check in London. You can also buy stock in the enterprise so in some way you'd own a brewery, a very good brewery actually.
e. m.
Great selection of brewdog and other beers. Love there wings, both cauliflower and chicken wings are great.
J. B.
Excellent choice of beers and pale ales.
H. T.
Good selection of beers, largely Brewdog brews. Decent food, burger was nice but not amazing.
S.
staff are cool and fun. beers a bit pricey. just like any other brewdog pub ive been to.
E. A.
Great to see they added quite a few new vegetarian options to the menu including burgers with seitan. Yay!
R. G.
Great bar. Chilled vibe. Great range of beers, perfect for a grouo of mixed tastes
P. I.
One of the better AND cheaper Brewdog pubs in London. Quiet downstairs area during the week. Haven't visited in the weekend.
P. F.
Busy central London brew dog pub serving the full brewdog range. Small outdoor patio to the front
r. s. (.
Pretty cool and lively place on a friday night! But the toilets are very limited and small! the hand dryer is right beside a urinal!
A.
Nice atmosphere, good variety of beers. Downstairs is even nicer than upstairs.
R. P.
As always from Brewdog - amazing selection of beers, great atmosphere, great food!
C. R.
Adam was amazing and made the night both enjoyable and memorable. With this kind of service, we're sure to be regulars. (^_^)
m. d.
Sorry to say, but you need to take more care about the Untapped and other apps, especially when running an event like the Collabfest - two times the listed beer wasn't available.
J. S. -. S.
The best beer in London. If your favourite tipple is Fosters, Carling, etc... come here and change your life forever.
