Lovely food and quick service. Back door broken so breeze coming right in which didn't help whilst eating lunch. Completely freezing. Had the large fish meal which came with lots of extras. Good value for money!

Well located, cheap, clean pub. Wheelchair friendly entrance, but high tables with stools and toilets upstairs. Good service and pleasant staff. Not much space, not a big pub at all, gets very very busy especially when all the shows have finished and rolled out of the theatres.

Great, as tourists we popped in as it was near the tube and one of us needed the loo. The drinks were a decent price a bottle of wine was the same as we would pay locally, so a winner from us. The staff were amazing, one of our party wanted a special glass as its something she collects and the staff gave her a clean dry one that she could take home with her. Definitely somewhere to visit again when we are in Leicester Square.

Found this place while we was we was looking for a place to eat after the theatre. It was the first place we found that was pub food that was quiet. (FA cup final day). The food was lovely and well priced. The staff was friendly. Will definitely be returning to this place when I return to london

Only went in this pub for a drink as we had already booked for a meal. What a fabulous find, the food looked lovely. Very friendly staff and most helpful. I lost my watch whilst In there not expecting to find it but left my contact details just in case. The next morning I was contacted by Harley to say it had been found and I could pick it up. However I had already gone home to Nuneaton. Harley said he would post it back . I am so very grateful . Will definitely be returning there.

A fabulous place in the heart of London. Excellent selection of beers and ales alongside all your usual favourites. The staff are all polite, friendly and very helpful. The food was fabulous, we had some sharing platters which were just amazing, and we also just about managed to finish them!! Fully recommend this brilliant place.

Ate upstairs here on 13th April after the restaurant we had booked had lost our booking. Typical pub food but lovely. Excellent portions & good service. Had a pretty good -90 minutes here whilst waiting to head down to West End. Staff accidently collected one of our drinks r'kid was nursing for ages but this was rectified with a 1/3 pint top-up which was appreciated. Decor generally good but shabby in places. Bit of a wait at the bar. Clean pints, standard central London prices just over £5. Good range of pints on tap and spirits behind. Decent pub food menu reasonably priced. Great location, can't complain.

Not keen on the outside .....part of it is down like a side alley but you're in Lindon so you use what you have! Inside is clean, prices are your usual city prices, service was quick.

I visited for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. It is a pleasant place to go for a drink and centrally located. The staff were friendly and welcoming enough. I ordered a chicken and bacon sandwich with triple cooked chips and a pint of beer. Very reasonably priced at just £9.95 and the quality of the food was very good for pub grub. Order arrived within 10 minutes but the only thing that I didn't like was the comfort if the chairs. They are suitable for normal drinking but not great for a sit down meal. Having said that, I didn't check out the extra seating upstairs which may have had better options. I would visit again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to.

A fantastic place to eat and drink in peace or even just pop in for a pint or two while out and about in buisy central London, the staff are allways friendly helpfull too and play decent music in the day at a decent level pluss its breathable and unpacked in the daytime , The Brewmaster has plenty of interesting places and shops around it including the great Hippodrome Casino right opposite on the corner, Brewmaster is also a great place to sit outside the front and watch london buisy and diverse life go by just over from Leicester Square tube station so its very easy to find and get to, I totaly rate this place and it deserves more stars

Stopped here because it was one of the very few places that did not need covid pre booking. Menu was unappetizing. We were placed outside at the back. Online booking was really frustrating I seemed to have to register with 3 sites just to order. With no signage I managed to order to the wrong pub in the same group on the same road. The manager was indifferent to this. No refund no order. The local sister pub very kindly brought our drinks over though we did not get our food. Staff from both pubs said this was a frequent occurrence. Greenking really need to update their website so people don't have to face this drama. Would not go back but would visit sister pub as they are committed to customer service. UPDATE: In response to the reply left by Brewmaster. It is very clear that you were upset by my review. I do try to give honest feedback reflective of my experience. So I will provide some additional context to ensure this is reflected. This was my first social excursion since the initial lockdown March 20 and managing new social distancing safety measures. We stopped at this pub in passing (didn't know about pre booking) and were seated out the back. On entering we were required to scan a QR code. On seating I needed to scan another code, This then directed me to a app that I had to download and enter. For the tech savvy this is probably straightforward but I found it fiddly & extremely frustrating. The app is not for the venue itself but for all Greenking owned establishments. I chose the option for it to GPS my location, a further list of pubs later I chose the address labelled on the street. My only point of reference. This was the only info I could see from my seat (as pictured). We ordered drinks and food. In other circumstances I could have probably asked for assistance but distance ordering means no one really approaches unless necessary. We then waited for quite a long time. In absolute fairness, we were then approached by the manager who noticed we had not received an order. On investigation she pointed out our error. She stated this was a common issue, she was unable to provide our order or offer a refund and we reordered drinks directly chalking it up as a loss. I phoned the sister pub in question, that manager also reiterated this was a common issue. She suggested we speak to the manager of the pub we were in to assist with with drinks or a discount . We explained this had been declined. We were suprised & delighted that she went to the effort of bringing the drinks to where we were. Excellent service. We did order a further round of drinks and the food we originally requested. I will state that the manager was kind enough to take our order directly so I did not have to fight the stupid app. We did stay, first time out in over a year with another human. The company was far more important than the venue. I am not impressed with the chain. Their menu is not great and their app is confusing and unfriendly. As both managers stated that this was a regular occurrence I think Greenking should resolve this. You have demonstrated that you remember our visit and you took time to review your CCTV to make sure your response was accurate. Can I suggest in addition you physicallly sit where I was seated to notice the lack of visable signage from this viewpoint. Putting yourself in the place of the customer may help you to make their experience better. (there is a nearby chalkboard, pub details added to this would resolve the issue). Feedback is not always an attack. Best Wishes.

Nice pub off the mad hustle of Leicester Square. It was in the middle of the afternoon and as typical of the pubs there were people enjoying ther brews and watching the world swirl by. Comfortable pub with high tables and lots of different brews. Friendly bartender and the owner who came out to greet us. Brews were a little colder than what I had at other pubs and being American and liking cold beer, that was a plus. The fish and chips were good and came out quickly.

Been coming here for years but it's all changed recently - had a bit of a face lift. It can get INCREDIBLY crowded, noisy and jostling. For me, best time to visit of "off peak".

The upstairs bar is great. Good cold beer fantastic chips attentive professional relaxed bar staff. Surprisingly atmospheric. Downstairs rowdy and popular with young people socialising amongst themselves. I enjoyed the way the doors opened out into an alley next to two stage doors. Very cosmopolitan. A hidden gem.

The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The beer selection is ok but they offered reasonable advice on each. I ate downstairs and had the fish and chips, a tough bill for London. Surprisingly good effort. To be honest, leave downstairs for drinks and go upstairs for eating, mostly because the tables are much better. High tables and stools are fine for drinks but not the best to eat from. Overall, location and the very friendly staff make his a place to drop in for a drink or simple meal.

An excellent experience at the Brewmaster this evening. Sat in the upstairs area overlooking the business of Leicester Square and the West End theatre district. Great beer in tap and excellent food. Had the fish and chips and then finished off with an astounding bread and butter pudding. Service was slick and professional. Highly recommended if you're visiting this area of London. We choose Brewmaster randomly because it was close to our tube stop. My friend had fish and chips and I had steak and ale pie. We sipped on hard cider and thoroughly enjoyed our time and our food. Great staff, friendly and and good service. No wonder so Londoners stop there after work. They have afternoon tea, too. Maybe tomorrow?

Ate and drank here in February 2017 and it was good, but not amazing. Came back for a pint last weekend and while the pub looks the exact same, the beer was colder and they had more beer on tap, the atmosphere was good, and the staff much friendlier. The mens bathroom was filthy though which was a let down.

A busy London pub severing both drink and food. When I visited on a wet Saturday the pub was well used and the service was acceptable. I had a pint of Green King IPA which was served as expected. The food we had was acceptable and as discribed.
