Nice traditional pub. I ordered chicken pie but was not impressed at all. Good to go for a glass of wine

Best Riverside gastropub in Chiswick. Very atmospheric, with lots of small semi-private rooms. There are similarly located pubs towards the Kew bridge but this one is more affordable, has better service and much tastier food. Kudos to the chef for their Sunday roast! Very cosy, too, with 2 outside seating areas and a fireplace.
PS. Unfortunately, we stopped going as it's next to impossible to order while eating solo or with a small child. One has to get a table first and then provide the number at the bar and the only way to grab a table is to either have someone else sit there for you or leave your personal belonging on the table (or, in my case, a child sleeping in the pram) which I won't do. A few of times I was refused service and after talking to the manager I was finally offered to have my order taken outside. But every time I come I end up talking to the manager and even though they eventually accommodate they make a big deal out of it and make it sound like they are making a one-off exception for me and that kind of kills the mood for me. Real shame as we just moved to the neighbourhood with my daughter and this has become our favourite but right away.

I love love love this pub. Today we had the cheese and bacon burger and the meat was the best tasting meat in a burger I have ever had. If my burger drips when I pick it up and give it a loving squeeze then I'm happy coz I know its gonna be juicy and delicious. 🙂
The portion size is actually really appropriate, you can get a starter, burger with fries, drink and pudding and not feel belly busting full. Can I just talk about the halloumi fries 😮 it's all about the sauce they come with, omg!!!
The guys who served us were really sweet and friendly. Beautiful view, not really busy on a weekday which we like, dog friendly and on site carpark for around 6 cars. Really good background music aswell and lovely toilets!
Thank you bulls head for a lovely evening.

Had a lovely time by the river. Took the dogs, who are very welcome here. They were slipped bacon bits by the waiters and bikkies on the bar. Chatted with other punters, dogs off lead, played with others on the Thames beach. . Lovely food and great staff. Spent hours longer here than i meant to! A quick pint turned into a very congenial late afternoon and evening. 5/5 but only if you like dogs !

A lovely riverside pub (mind the low ceilings!) with a good range of beers and some above-average food. I got there just after 12.00 on a Saturday and plainly not every member of staff was on duty as it took a surprising amount of time to be served despite being the only person at the bar, but once they got into the swing of things, it was great.

Really nice setting & interior. Good service. Trio of meats roast was good, pork was the weakest of the meats. Vegan roast was nice but lacked enough sides. Roast potatoes were poor. Mocha torte and salted caramel desserts were good.

Very historic pub on the strand on the green. Spectacular views and friendly staff. Good menu.

One of three riverside pubs, but I enjoyed table service here the most.

Our staff had our Christmas party at the Bulls Head. Lovely atmosphere and great food. The servers were friendly, a bit sassy (without crossing the line too much), and attentive, which added to the charming environment. The Festive Fayre was also the best value for money I've seen compared to other pubs' festive menus. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place. The owners are great. The food is way above average, and the service and friendliness are exceptional. The view of the river tops off a great meal and leaves the diner with a memorable experience. Great for locals and visitors.
