Reviews of Bunch of Grapes
j. l.
Stopped by Bunch of Grapes for a spot of lunch after a long walk. We had the beef and katsu chicken burgers. Both were delicious and served with plenty of french fries. Staff were super friendly too.
A. P.
Called in when we visited Borough Market. Nice friendly staff and they serve some great beers....Beavertown Neck Oil 😋
D. S.
What can I say about this Pub….. Excellent staff, always very welcoming, friendly and happy. Great atmosphere, good music, food is fantastic and they do a very good pint of Guinness.
I now call this my go to pub in London Bridge
p. w.
First time visiting this pub my friends and I were very impressed. It was as we found out a football match day Millwall v QPR and despite the pub being packed full the Service was quick staff were friendly, the fans where kept under control by security who definitely had their work cut out! Nice atmosphere not too rowdy GREAT music overall a great mid week drinks
Keep it….
L. W.
An excellent pub with a great atmosphere. I sat in the upstairs area on my visit. Very much recommended.
T. M.
Decent pub. Lots of space but fills up quickly due to the area. Staff are very effective at getting everyone served promptly despite crowds.
L. L.
Friendly staff and clean cosy decor.
T. L.
Great selection of drinks. The handful of times I've been, the music has been very good. Love the outdoor seating area too!
s. w.
Great pub near London bridge station which is handy. Good selection of beers. Decent proper pub pretty busy but can always get a beer.
H. R.
Great pub. Small outdoor area with Tables and chairs. Best to book at peak times otherwise beers were good and on the day I went cocktails were superb! Stuck gold as the bar tender was a cocktail bar tender - amazing negroni
S. J.
Busy pub with a hybrid indoor/outdoor design that works for smokers. Some friendly bar staff, some not so. But all efficient. Prices ok. Worth going for the lively atmosphere.
D. T.
A repeat visit, I turned up on Christmas Day and was treated to much jolity and hospitality, offered the christmas cake which I declined in a poor effort to wait for the forthcoming meal. Had a few beers instead! Visiting again today and just as jolly and welcoming as on Christmas day. A pub to be proud of....Another visit, a new day and just as welcoming as ever. Great beer and great people, especially behind the bar! A great place to visit. Make sure you do!

I have walked past this pub thousands of times, but never went in!!!
Very nice pub, fast friendly service, good beers, delicious food (chicken wings are best I've had), good music, smoking area out back.
c. w.
Great location, good food and reasonable prices, can get very busy so I would always recommend booking in advance.
A. D.
Good atmosphere, helpful and professional bar staff, good selection of drinks but, as with most pubs in Central London, on the expensive side.
G. R.
Lovely pub with a great back space opposite Borough Market has a good selection of Ales and serves food.
J. W.
Lots of character great selection of beers. Loses a star due to the crowding in here and how hard it is to move around the pub.
V. W.
Nice pub, friendly staff, great table service....well worth a visit
N. D.
The bunch of grapes is an amazing little pub with a fantastic atmosphere. Came here a few weeks ago for the first time and it will definitely continue to be my go to spot for after work drinks. Siana was the waitress who served us and she was so bubbly and welcoming. Thank you very much guys!
G. J.
Good for a quiet drink after work. Gets very busy and lively later in the evening especially weekends.
B. D.
Such a fun pub on a Friday night. Good beers and lovely staff. Such a fun vibe with people making friends and dancing and generally having fun. The atmosphere was fantastic and I definitely want to visit again!!
B. K.
Made us feel very welcome despite the restrictions. Good variety of beers available.
S. L.
Great place to get a good beer and burger. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Close to Borough station.
R. H.
Proper English pub, well located next to London bridge. We had a plate of mix of roasts to share, no seasoning whatsoever, totally forgettable. The chicken was dry, the gravy is tasteless. Also we were lucky enough to have been sitting next to a very noisy birthday party as well. On the other hand the service is fast and friendly. And they have a very large and good selection of wine.
R. G. G.
Busy pub nice beer and good choice
A. D.
Was OK, but I was disappointed with my food, the meat patty was overcooked which made it a bit dry. And the skinny fries tasteless. Beer was good, and my friend's Lamb hotpot looked tasty, and she loved it. Should have had that.
N. G.
A good meeting point outside of London Bridge station. Excellent beer selection. Food looked okay. Not a place you would settle in for an evening (imho) as it is constantly busy with people meeting & then going after a drink. On the IPA front they had Camden & Neck Oil both of which are winners.
R. K.
Good food, reasonable prices, great ales and friendly, helpful staff.
L. R.
Went for a drink with friends. Lots of seating, warm even when outside due to heating in back, food available if wanted.
C. S.
The pub itself was OK, however I felt there was something missing in the way the staff greet and serve customers.
J. P.
Great pub, with good atmosphere and excellent bar staff who were attentive and with great sense of humour. Tom and Connor kept the drinks and food flowing. Highly recommend.
C. J.
Good food outside space choice of beers. Would help if staff knew difference between lager and 🍻
G.
Nice place for central London. Very friendly staff. Only downside was the bathrooms which were at capacity. Otherwise a fine place to wet your whistle.
A. G.
Pleasant London Bridge Boozer, well lit rooms and nice vibe. Although they charge an outrageous £8 for a single gin and tonic.
S. J.
Really lovely pub I reccomend popping in. The staff are really nice here too
k.
Late booze. If its open then its good enough for me.
J. B.
I was walking by and the sign outside caught my attention. "Beer colder than your ex's heart". I had to pop in for quick pint. The service was quick and the beer was tasty. It was pretty busy.
S. T.
Excellent service, food ok for a limited menu. Always enjoy Young's ale.
Will visit again.
s. b.
Staff seem friendly but get super busy and very long wait times. Tight and cramped environment.
A. K.
So, pub was really nice, drinks were good, food was good, good prices and the app used to book was great.
This was however overshadowed by the awful service we recieved (only other negative comments on here too are about the service). We were a group sat on a small table who swapped with a smaller group sat on a big table - to most this would make sense. A waitress was told we were moving and a number of drinks and food orders were brought to the swapped tables with little issue. Then wheb my tables time was due to run out in 10 minutes (which we were fine with) a rude dark haired waitress came moaning, and agitated and shouting at us and the other table for messing with their system. She was rude, abrupt and wouldnt listen, just walking off when we and the other table were mid sentence. She was also adamant when the other table mentioned speaking to a a blond waitress, one that wasnt near us at that time, that there was only one - this was a complete lie and five minutes later, the other waitress showed up.
A great time overshadowed by shear rudeness - you want return business, you should sort that out.
D. H.
Great little pub with lovely outside space. Only 4 stars as I haven't tried the food yet so don't know how good it is.
K. K. H. K.
A centrally located pub. Near to the London Bridge Station. Evenings are crowded.
W. T.
Nice lively bar with a good selection of beers
P. F.
Love the pub, love the location, but no Ram Rod in Youngs...
J. S.
Good London pub, effective staff, good booze, London prices
C. H.
It seems to be a nice enough pub but we got placed in an inside upstairs room that was very cold due to the aircon.
Service and beer was good
M. T.
Such a lovely pub, really nice staff lovely manager. Popped in just for a couple of beers and absolutely loved it. The Covid-19 restrictions were perfect. I had a pint of Guinness and a Camden Hells which were both perfect. All in all great experience
O. A.
Went to Bunch of Grapes for a pre-dinner drink. The venue is well decorated and staff is friendly. It did take a bit of time to get our order through though, and simple requests like a glass of water was forgotten, as is unfortunately often the case. Drinks and food are ok priced, and were of the level expected in a pub.
S. T.
Private do upstairs a bit Dodgy on the stairs as other people using toilet Very difficult to get out in fact dangerous
P. H.
Not a bad little pub in the heart of Borough Market
s. w.
Nice pub but over £6 a pint.
S. S.
Good selection of wines but service was quite slow and only one women's toilet
J. F.
Love the location and inside set up. Good choices of beers!
N. D.
Great pub in a central location. Good for a match and great Guinness!
D. C.
Great beer, great atmosphere, great service, what else do you want!
P. L.
Really good food. I had the fish and chips and my girlfriend had the chicken tenders and fried pickles. I would highly recommend it. The beer is good also!
D. V.
Very good nice food and people. Service was amazing, they really cared about us. It started to rain and they moved us inside immediately.
Even my 6 year old granddaughter was extremely happy with her burger.
Thank you for making us feel so comfortable.
J. H.
Great little stop off point near the station that clearly looks after its beer and lines. Good selection
F. H.
Good outdoor terrace and selection of beers for all tastes. Right next to the shard and London Bridge station - convenient and characterful.
S. C.
Amazing bar staff! Despite being based in the busy London Bridge area this pub feels like your local.
E. M.
A decent pub right near The Shard. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpoful. The place is well decorated in a quirky manner and is obviously popular with local workers. It is kept as clean as a busy old pub can be and can get really busy at periods just after office workers finish for the day but is still worth a visit. The drinks are quite expensive, but is is a nice place to relax before a show in the area so really should be enjoyed.
P. S.
Excellent large multi tier heated outdoor space for covid safe drinks. Book ahead though as time slots can be short. Good service via app ordering.
J. B.
Nice pub in handy location for London Bridge and Borough Market. When we were there, there was quite a lot of the office crowd in, but atmosphere still nice and the beer was good as well. Not the cheapest pub in the vicinity, but not a bad little boozer.
M. R.
Good pub, great beer, friendly staff.
B. C.
Nice drinks lovely Guinness, speaking as an Irish man, great service 👍

Nice pub. Good service. Pleasant outdoor seating area.
M. M.
Been using this pub for years, never let you down always a great selection of beers.
T. W.
Very busy, nice friendly staff. Only one ladies loo, however very clean. Great atmosphere
h.
Stayed in london for 5 days and went there 4 times because the atmosphere was just right. Especially the outside area. Age group in the evenings ranges from 25-40, pint is 6£, waiters friendly. We met some cool people there too would recommend!!!
F. C.
Really lovely place with dark, brooding decor. A nice booze selection and delicious food with good veggie and vegan options. The staff are friendly and organised. It also boasts a decently sized, heated garden/smoking area.
a. d.
Nice wine barrel tables area at from and pretty beer garden at back, plus nice selection of beers wine and grub.
Although plenty of customers put back Was only one other customer at bar but eye contact seemed impossible to gain except for the cheerful blond south African lady who was busy loading the glass machine but was quite accustomed to the pub tradition of at least acknowledging customers waiting. But in fact cracked on and served me a pint of proper job no bother, always appreciate that, should have her in charge
T.
Great pub to visit. Has a lot of history dating back to the olden days! One of the great things about this pub was that nothing has been renovated or restored...its still in the same condition when it was built, many years ago.
If your not a Londoner then you may find it welcome to have to join a bench outside with other people. This place gets very busy (typical London backstreet pub)
A. M.
Andrea, Pav, Emilijia, Conrad were amazing! Our fist night out since lock down and they really made it for us! We will definitely be back!!
Thank you Bunch Of Grapes!!
A. R.
Good pint of Young's Original a bit busy
G. S.
Nipped in here to get warm and bought ale. Lovely and warm space not far from London Bridge and Shard.
Comfy and with delicious food to buy and enjoy before 3pm. A nice Youngs pub, not spacious, but doesn't need to be.
C. H.
Great Young's beers, excellent service. Happy bustle downstairs, quieter with bigger tables upstairs.
J. W.
Other side of the main road from Borough Market so a lot less crowded. Classic London pub. Good range of beers. Try and grab a window seat and indulge in people watching. Would have been five stars but for the loud music.
R. H.
Transient pub near London Bridge. Can be carnage depending on weather as it's one of the few central London pubs with a good outside space out back on two levels. Generally well staffed so even if busy you'll get served fairly quickly. A great after work venue.
L. J. S.
Great atmosphere and the table service is good! Loved the back garden and felt quite warm despite the chilly spring evening :)
C. M.
Nice pub on the edge of Borough Market and not too far from London Bridge Station. Had a drink here on a Monday night and it was pretty busy. We sat in the outdoor/ terrace area which was fine as they had heaters. I didn't eat but I saw some people being served food (chips, burgers etc) and it looked pretty good, so I would eat next time. Handy spot for the location if you want a catch up drink and not walk too far for your train home :)
L. W. (.
Brilliant little pub friendly staff and a good selection of food and drinks 🍸
S. P.
Very pleasant place, nice little beer garden out back with covered area and heaters. Lovely place.
N. G.
Lovely place, friendly staff and good selection of beers.
W. B.
Traditional old pub serving a wide selection of beers and lagers on tap, as well as a large selection of gin. Good after work pub, just round the corner from London Bridge Station. Good atmosphere over the two floors and the garden to the rear.
J. D.
It's a Youngs pub so there's good ale. Various lagers also served tea and coffee. It is a very busy pub, not one for a quiet drink, but if you want a lively venue give it a go. I noticed an interesting outside space but have never got that far past the bar!!
R.
Great place. We sat outside on a very chilly day in Feb (owing to the fact that we had 2 toddlers with us) but didn’t feel cold due to the fact that there were plenty of outdoor heaters. We went inside when it started to rain and there was no problem having the children with us. Very friendly, efficient staff. Excellent food. Will definitely come here again!
R. P.
Great location. Garden is cute, food is great.
D. D. J.
Nice pub, 3 ales plus Meantime craft beer on tap. Pretty cool outdoor area as well. Haven't eaten there so can't comment on the food. It's a Young's pub and it's pretty much on a par with the usual standard. Be warned it gets very busy in the evening with the after work crowd.
L. M. (.
Very over priced but nice, after work drink and meeting point
C. J.
Nice little pub eight next to The Shard. Has a terrace out the back. Decent selection of beers and nice food. Bar snacks(sausage rolls pork pies etc) are really nice. Average prices I suppose for the area.
J. J.
Good beer & atmosphere. Helpful & courteous staff.
D. M.
Great set up outside. Good selection of beers and the food is really good too.
E. P.
Friendly and welcoming pub, it gets busy though, even on a non - Friday night. Food is reasonably priced and is tasty. They were quite happy for me to bring in my baby and buggy which is a bonus. A good all round pub.
J. H.
A decent pub with a small outside space. On weekends it's fairly quiet but it gets busy on weekdays. A good selection of beer and decent food, including a selection of roasts. Table service upstairs is a great plus.
T. D.
Lovely pub friendly staff great service
T. O.
Extreme busy after work but a lovely atmosphere. Friendly bar staff who know how to serve drinks fast! Lovely outdoor area on two floors - ground and basement. Great sweet potato fries & mayo.
H. P.
Nice quiet place to go for drinks
M.
Great place, much bigger than it looks from outside. Very reasonable priced. Lovely outside seating/smoking area. Very friendly staff. Less than 5 min walk from London Bridge Station.
M. R.
Great Atmosphere, Sylwia the Manager is brilliant and could not have offered better service - a great pub with a great atmosphere!!!
D. T.
A good location and quite a nice atmosphere. Extremely busy in the evening, but a nice outdoor patio area to sit and drink/chat. Selection of beers on tap was decent. Prices were a bit steep nearing £6/pint, but given the location we expected it. The only drawback seemed to be in getting served. There was a short lady at the bar trying and failing to be served, and the bartender told me I was wrong when I pointed to this lady and said that she needed to be served before me. The bartender then selected another tall man to my right and took his order instead, and then again came back to me to ask what I wanted while STILL ignoring the short lady. The lady joked about it with me and thanked me for trying but it was a bit out of order overall.
A. A.
Amazing food lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend
J. B.
Good pub. Standard central London prices, but not outrageous. Decent-sized smoking area out back. Very friendly staff. Reasonable beer.
I. S.
We popped into this lovely pub for a couple of drinks after a "Space for Cycling" event. The atmosphere was cosy and lively. Excellent choice of local draft beers and ales, delicious chunky chips, friendly staff, and peaceful beer garden at the back. I really liked this place and would definitely go back again.
A. G. U.
Would have been 5 stars for the fabulously friendly bar team, even better beer, suffered from the cold when people left the back door open on a day just above freezing. The winter warmer beer was excellent, if at a fiver a tad pricey.
M.
I was searching on google maps for a place to chill after a long day and I found the closest to the local market where I was. So I spent an afternoon at a lovely outdoor backyard area enjoying beer & music. Plus other lovely things were the charging spots in every single table. The bar service was fast & friendly.
S. M.
Nice pub in a great location near London Bridge tube and The Shard. We booked a table upstairs, which I'd recommend as even on a Tuesday it was quite busy. There was table service, but only one server so a little slow getting drinks and food brought to our table.
J. B.
Nice pub, nice pub garden ideally located 2 Mon walk from the Shard. Found a seat on a busy Saturday and didn't take to long to get drinks. Reasonably priced for a central London Pub!
C. R.
Good outdoor space for Central London. Good location.
D. P.
The beer was exceptional, and there's a renewable range of single malt Scottish whiskies. Friendly service, fast, generous and unpretentious food. Basic but does the job well. I recommend it. Alcohol not cheap - but then this is London.
N. S.
Fine as a place to meet up initially but being a little cramped and dark it's not somewhere to make a bee line for, although it may be different on weekends (we visited on a weeknight). The staff served us quickly, were friendly and did table service for drinks (good given how cramped it was).
L. H.
Lovely outdoor area if you're lucky enough to get a table. Decent selection of beers, food a bit average but not bad. We're showing Wimbledon day we went
B. W.
The Bunch Of Grapes is very central, right outside London Bridge station. There's plenty of seating inside and outside on a generous patio in the back.
We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning, it wasn't too busy and the staff was very friendly. Our food arrived quickly, portion sizes are quite generous, it's really all you can ask for in a pub. We enjoyef our visit very much.
M. K.
When in London... the afterwork pub visit is mandatory! 😁
The food has been average and the beer selection to me was quite small for a British pub. The backyard is pretty cool, so it’s still a nice place to hang out with friends.
c. d.
I think this pub has improved recently, been periodically drinking here for years. However, a new member of staff has lifted it in my opinion. Lauren is extremely personable... well done young lady.
C. O.
Quick service. Friendly staff. Prices in keeping with Central London pricing. Good food portions.
J. W.
Good selection of wine and beer in a traditional setting.but you can get this everywhere in London. But this pub is located near Borough Market so it has an early opening license and you can get an early pint here way before everything else opens Or way after everything else closed.
T. J.
Amazing atmosphere for and indoor/outdoor pub dead in the middle of London. The perfect mix.
B. B.
Great food, welcoming and punky staff - a nice change of pace next to the cut and dry feel of London Bridge. Pricey drinks, but that's to be expected.
e. l. g.
Nice pub, lots of beers and nice music
K. S.
Ardita was super attentive and awesome!! Thank you for looking after us!
S. B.
Good pub in heart of London Bridge that still manages to keep a traditional pub feel about it whilst appealing to all ages. Decent pints too and small outdoor area at the back though gets busy.
D. E.
Hugely overpriced, fish was very greasy. However, service was quick. Limited choice of drinks for children so not ideal to nip in for a decent lunch with them.
P. C.
Possibly my favourite pub in Borough. The multi-level garden is great, even when the weather isn't that good, and there's usually a good atmosphere there for watching major sporting events. Even when it's crowded, you can usually get a seat upstairs. A Young's pub, so standard Young's ales, plus a guest.
C.
Very busy, noisy, order through an app. You have to download an app to Not ideal if you have no more memory in your phone.
J. T.
Nice pub in shouting distance of The Shard. Came here while we waited for our time to "ascend".
Enjoyed the place enough to come back in for a few drinks afterwards as well.
There's a good selection of beers and the food looked good though I'd just eaten.
There's a grassless garden out the back with seating, quite a lot considering the location.
Recommended.
F. S.
Dropped in for a couple of pints of excellent Young's ordinary bitter. Football on screens but not intrusive and there were plenty of people just chatting. I didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food but not much was left on plates.
N. D.
Another of my watering holes for central London. Good pub always busy friendly staff. Just what you need for a good night out.
Check the signage out the front.
Someone has a good sense of humor.
C. C.
Not bad food and an ok choice of beer and wine. It's not special but it does have a decent upstairs area which you can hire out for parties which is great given the central location. The roasts are healthy sized portions!
P. T.
Great historical pub in particular the upstairs though the decor seems to be US centric based. Havent looked up the history of the building but great atmosphere upstairs in any case. Downstairs at the bar tends to get quite busy with waiting times on par
M. R.
Nice traditional style pub. Outside areas too. Near to London Bridge south side.
M. M.
Excellent customer service. Friendly staff. Sincere welcome. Huge variety of drinks. Very comfortable sitting outside. Relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended. Thank you Staff. We will be back😉
C. P.
Nice and big pub, good selection of beers, outdoor area. Haven't had the food but I've heard it's very decent. Toilets sadly aren't the biggest or cleanest and it can get pretty crowded in the pub in general!
S. H.
Dog Friendly! I popped in there last night (13th Aug) with my little puppy and the staff were awesome, looked after myself and the dog with treats and water (the dog not me) and they were generally really sound.
I've been the pub a few times now and it's a proper 'pub' close to London Bridge Station. Will no doubt be back before long.
R. W.
Nice pub near London bridge, always busy but can often sit outside in courtyard at the back and can order beer from bar staff at your table andd they bring it out to you! Awesome! Plus nice selection of real ale and beers. Nice freindly fun vibe
R. O.
Went here for a corporate event, great upstairs room. Food and drink was also delicious and reasonably priced. Very busy in the downstairs bar however, took a long time to get served and staff looked rather strained.
N. R.
A nice pub in the Borough area
A. D.
Bloody Mary was pure tomato juice. Felt a little disorganized. Woman in party said she went to the ladies room and a window was open and someone dining outside stuck their hand through to wave. We tried to order a blond beer and 3/4 bartenders had no clue what we were saying. The staff was kind and it had a nice atmosphere otherwise.
P. L.
Nice ambience, Good spot to get together, Pre-book for a better experience(otherwise you have to stand in rain😅)
a. s.
Excellent service, as ever. Can't wait for the reintroduction of the scotch eggs
J. N.
Got the private room upstairs. Had to pay to hire it out and the money didnt go towards the food or drink. The staff were nice. But not a great deal. The food was also nice just not happy with the amount recieved.
K. M.
Niceish pub spoilt by prices
4.
Tasty food and nice and quick service. We were there on Thursday night and despite of the place being super busy we've got food and drinks very quickly. Friendly staff :)
L. N.
A good pub for watching sport with a big screen and a decent amount of seating upstairs, then a couple of screens downstairs but a lot more packed in. We stayed for a couple of drinks after the rugby and it was quite chilled in the upstairs bit but pretty loud music downstairs. We'd go again for the rugby.
G. K.
Lovely pub with fantastic service and good quality food. Very friendly and informative pub staff who were able to tell us the nearby bars and clubs to go to. For being so close to London Bridge it's excellent price and not too busy.
G. L.
Excellent meeting point with both front and back smoking areas. They've even got phone charger sockets at some of the garden tables. Good beer and wine selection, a bit expensive but that's to be expected given the location. The vast can get quite busy though, so plan ahead.
E. B.
Was alright..staff could look a bit presentable ..
S. B.
Busy and decent pub. Varied crowd, due to location, but spacious lay out. Open late so good for 1 last beer before getting the train home!
C. H.
One of my other favourite pubs around this area (see Market Porter and George for others) - this is a great pub when the others are totally full and you need a sit down in the beer garden. Always pretty busy and lively it is a great place to have a beer or some food, which I have only had a couple of times but was great value.
K.
Bustling fun pub near Tower Bridge
R. F.
Busy city pub, has the shabby industrial decor that seems to be so popular at the moment so not the most comfortable.
This is mot a pub to visit if you are on a budget, £5.60 for a pint of Guinness! Shame on you Youngs!!
D. B.
Good pub plenty of room
P. W.
On a city break, from Glasgow - popped in here for a couple of pints after visiting the Shard.
Proper pub - great selection of beers and wines, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Highly reccomended 👍
T. T.
Packed pub for a Tuesday night. Grabbed a pint and had to have it outside. Not bad I guess. Was meeting a friend for dinner at a tapas place near there so we started the night off with a beer at Bunch of Grapes. Seems like your typical pub.
J. H.
The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are lovely. Always a lovely crowd and the beer gardens great. Prices are average for a London pub but well worth a visit. I wouldnt bring family here but definatly friends. Its more an afterwork venue and everyones always talking with eachother. Good place to make new friends. The music isnt too loud so great for conversation.
V. H.
Just had our office Christmas do there. Menu was varied but food was decidedly average. Astonishingly, house wine was £26.50 per bottle!
M. P.
I spent an afternoon there back in May this year, Kat was our hospitality person and she was a scream. Very warm and cosy pub, I will recommend anyone coming from Australia to pop in for a great experience.
T. L.
Customer friendly and professional . I am always impressed with the team.
Utilities are excellent and clean. As a google guide.. I recommend. Good location and the pub has a 200 year history.
A.
Over-priced ales. Each time I visit, there’s some issue with the beer garden: violence on one occasion and tonight some numpties jumping across the landing caused cladding to fall onto a patron’s head which led to staff closing the bar: all drinks cancelled. Not cool.
L. L.
A good selection of beers and a decent place to meet during the day. Gets heaving-busy, very loud and a bit smelly in the evening. That said, the staff are friendly even when it's packed, which is to their credit.
J. D.
£6 a pint.. hmm. Decent enough London pub with friendly service and decent drink. Good location between London Bridge and Borough Market.
A. B.
It's hard to know how/why some places have got it right and others don't. This one has - good atmosphere and good service. Well done
D. H.
Lovely pub but very crowded and noisy. We sat in the downstairs recessed well and couldn't hear ourselves for the music. Great beer though.
C. I.
Amazing staff, they always make me feel welcomed there. Also, really good customer service, delicious food and good music. And they have a garden in the back where you can smoke and enjoy your drinks. It's a great place, highly recommend!
C. O.
Popular, so a table is always challenged. Really quick service from friendly staff. Beer good and pub food acceptable. Like the old town pub atmosphere.
V. L.
Ok pub selling the usual range of beers, wines and spirits. Proximity to Guys hospital, Borough Market and London Bridge Station mean it's often very busy so you have to shout to make yourself heard.
J. R.
Good service and lovely beer! 🍺🍻
E.
easy to find out of London Bridge. good beer. friendly staff. but too small a bar and long waits for service. not staffs fault as they were going flat out. OK place for a bevvy
J. C.
More calm than other pubs in the area, upstairs room is available for serious drinks (no requirement to order food) and can have more seating than downstairs
M. L.
Quaint little quirky bar, only had 1 drink but kind mannered staff and good selection of drinks.
I. M.
I came in here after my wife went into surgery at the hospital nearby. The staff didn’t know that, but they were so kind and welcoming anyway, it’s as if they did somehow. That’s always a good sign, I think. I’ll come back, hopefully in better circumstances.
B. C.
Great pub for a beer. Has a good outside area at the back of it, for when it is sunny and plenty of seats upstairs if it is not.
C. B.
Does what it says on the tin. Little outdoor area and if I remember right it had games outside which is great if you catch a sunny London day! Came here for pre drinks before a night out. Was all good.
A. T.
Great location. There staff are friendly and there is a quirky little back garden. Standard beers on tap
C. H.
Super pub! Plenty of Beers & Wines to choose from. Served very quickly every time I’ve been in! Even during rush hour.
T. H.
Nice pub near to London Bridge. Great food and nice beers. Staff are super friendly. Can get a little busy and loud, but that's just down to the central location.
T. N.
Very nice pub lunch. Two courses £20.
M. L.
Very expensive pub with lacklustre staff. However, it has a stripped-back quality that appeals. A nice and airy upstairs room and an interesting outdoor area to the rear.
I. P.
Nice pub with many different seating areas, both inside and outside, the beer and wine selection is good and the food is good too.
Good friendly staff
T. B.
Always very busy. Good selection of beers and lagers. The gala pie and sausage rolls are delicious. Served in paper bags for convenience.
H. F.
Used to be a regular on a Friday lunchtime for a quick bite to eat and a drink before going back to the office. Gret little outdoor space. Great fish and chips. Very friendly staff.
J. D.
Pleasant London Bridge bar with good range of beers and ales, including Neck Oil and some ales from local breweries. Some TV screens for watching sport and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
O. S.
A classic pub near London Bridge
D. M.
Great old school pub and friendly staff but had a constant flow of people entering and asking for money( at least 5 times ) i am always happy to donate to the homeless but there were also scammers with clip boards collecting for underprivelledged football teams etc
It was noticed by various customers and maybe something for the management to be aware of ...
L. B.
Buzzy boozer well positioned for London Bridge serving good pub food and ales. Large upstairs room ensures a table seat, even in the rain.
D. J. S.
An absolute favourite of mine, the Grapes is everything a pub should be.
m. f.
I love this old pub! great gastropub super busy during the weekend. Friendly bartender and good beers selection.
A. C.
Loud Young's pub, always packed and can get roudy late on. Standard selection for the chain, aiming at the premium end. Beavertown Neck Oil as a regular. Recent refit gives it a trendy take on a Victorian boozer.
C. C.
Nice pub but hang on to your belongings! Like most pubs in the area it's trawled by thieves - I lost a bag and I'm still not sure how it was done...
C. C.
Decent food....friendly staff
J. A.
Me and my wife had brunch here. She had a full English and I had a bacon and sausage bun. It was DELICIOUS! Nice atmosphere, nice staff. We reccomend.
I. Q.
Excellent for an evening drink/night out. The place has an back courtyard which is excellent for smokers.
They serve decent food, I recommend the burger of course!
Z.
Ray, Mariah and the whole team were amazing. Thank you for the amazing hostile. Made us feel so safe and welcomed.
W. F.
A good pub with nice interior, if a bit small, but a really good garded and patio area out the back. Not a great selection of drinks however.
T. W.
Great service for a busy pub. Try upstairs or out back for quieter conversation. Usually has fantastic music selection.
N. M.
Friendly pub with outdoor area.
S.
Lovely pub, very friendly and efficient table service from the staff
H. W.
Brilliant atmosphere with amazing service. The staff are always really friendly and do table service out in the garden. My favourite pub in London Bridge
M. J.
Pub with food. And excellent food at that. Caesar salad was great with freshly made croutons. Chicken bigger had a l piece of chicken not a burger. Will happily visit again if in the area.
V. C.
Great pub for a couple of pints. We love the outside area in the back. Very unique.
r. s.
Good pub, but always a bit crowded for my liking, since it's quite small with limited seating. Food is nice enough, but nothing special.
M. R.
A no-frills pub that has good food and reasonably priced alcohol.
P. P.
Fantastic rustical pub near from London Bridge and in front of Borough centre. They have very good beer, main Guinnes is perfect.
C. W.
Bustling pun popular with the after work crowd and on weekends. Helpful staff with table service and a well stocked bar with s good range of beer and spirits.
A. G.
Good pub by London Bridge. Reasonable beer selection but can be on the busy side, so don't expect to get a table after work
H. R.
Cozy little pub with a great beer garden for the summer, and an upstairs for eating. The selection of beer is classic except a couple craft beers. Really nice little pub.
M. S.
A pricy City pub with several floors and an OK choice of international beers, some craft beers, some undistinguished wines, spirits and an OK food menu with patchy delivery. Say hi to the mouse if he makes an appearance.
S. E.
Banging food...service with a smile...
M. O.
Bar staff were very good, particularly the two young Aussies who were charming and worked tirelessly to bring drinks to our outdoor table despite the place heaving on a Thursday evening.
R. C.
Not been since the refurb, but wow, what a difference. Nice place, really opened up, good place to watch rugby.... Possibly other sports
B. B.
I loved this place. I sat upstairs. Great drink selection. Good variety of foods on the menu
Very cozy and comfortable.

N. M.
Brilliant food and drink so worth every penny and reasonably priced too.
j. h.
Good food, drinks and service.
L. F.
Nice pub, very busy due to the weather. Didn't try the food though. Not much more to say, it's just a pub.
B. O.
Nice pub very near London Bridge station with a good character to it. There is a small dining area upstairs and a good choice of beers.
A.
Just went there for a beer with my girlfriend, the upstairs floor was very nice. Place seemed amazing until we saw a little mouse wandering around underneath the tables..
M. G.
I opted for the burger and it was really good. Staff here were also great to accommodate us all, in and out of the rain.
R. S.
Great pub and friendly staff but, boy does it stink.. Not sure if it's sick or cheese. They really need to sort that as I witnessed people walking in then straight out because of the smell
R. C.
Well worth a visit ,great snacks good selection of spirits and very friendly staff , and a great area for us “unclean” smokers which forms makes it a really great place to have a pint

Decent pub... Gets very loud and not the best atmosphere. Location is easy to get to very near the station.
D. B.
So far I have only been here 3 times. On all 3 occasions i have had a delightful experience. Staff were happy to help and made my visit welcoming.

z. i. c.
Great location, nice food. Cool bar staff. Busy please but lovely service
A. R.
Always have a good time at this pub for catching up with old friends - never too rammed / noisy to have a conversation, and the crowd isn't too pretentious either
A. T.
Good pub convenient for the station. Always busy, seating is limited but no more than any other pub in zone 1
M. S.
Good ordinary nice pub if you looking for something special this is not the on but I you want to sit down and have a pint this is the one
J.
Decent pub, close to London Bridge, with a somewhat unexpected outdoor area in the back, complete with a supply of blankets to keep you warm if you're out late at night or just enjoying one of London's frigid days!
S. G.
Only one ladies cubicle that I could find so ling wait for the loo when it's busy which it was. That's the only fault though. Good atmosphere pub
