Reviews of Camden Beer Hall
J. P.
Great staff, great atmosphere, would definitely visit again. Danny was very helpful in suggesting a final beer for the taster flight. Having the six nations and Winter Olympics in the background helped to keep me here and get another round in.
I didnt get any food but it all looked great and the beer is fresh as could be. Great choices and well priced. Thanks
M.
Came here in late June, strangely to try the food. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, though a little expensive, it was all very good. My only comment would be that the food could have got to us a lot hotter than it did, but being the evening of an England winning Euro match the place was very busy so they may have been short staffed that day.
There was a huge choice of there own beers on offer. The two I tried, suggested by our server, were very good and I am sure there will be beers available to anyone's taste. Well worth a try for both the food and the beer.

I have enjoyed visiting CTB since ~2013. What they have done with the newly renovated space is impressive. Beer selection is solid. Going to be an amazing experience in Summer. Less beers (with regular ABV) served at two thirds be a win... However the £8 pizza/focaccia, despite being very tasty, is too much of a stretch and I would not order again. Rather order something else...or order Franco Mancas/grab a kebab on your way home.
L. W.
Really great and informative tour! Both tour guides were really knowledgeable and really friendly. Loved getting to taste a selection of Camden Town Brewery products and even got a free half of unfiltered Camden Hells at the start of the tour and a free pint at the end!
Great value for money and a great gift for any beer lover! We will certainly be back next time we're visiting London, we have a lot of beer left to taste! Thank you for a 10/10 experience :D
L. S.
Good spot. Nice range of Camden beers. All decent quality though nothing world class. Almost all lager or pale ale/IPA styles - not a single dark beer across c. 20 taps. Service was pretty efficient and friendly. Prices seem a bit high for the beers given this is, after all, an AB-InBev-owned entity. The food was fine. Inside, it gets pretty noisy. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
N. T.
Lovely fresh beer in a cool under railway arch setting. Heads up that it’s a bit closer to Kentish Town tube. Highly recommended for craft beer lovers.
J. S.
Honestly can't down play how good my night was there. 23 different taps of beer, great service, great outside seating with quiet music enough to hear but not too over powering, football on inside, great beer and great service. Food menu looked a little posh to have with a few beers but may just be me!

I am a veteran of this place. The new space is welcoming and nice. The food choice is good although 8£ is a bit expensive for a pizza slice, not even cooked on a wood oven or been a gourmet one. The place miss of the vibe of the original candem brewery bar. I hope with the addition of a session of a live music or nice background music the place can get more the old vibe
S. G.
Place for beer lovers, beer drinkers. Chilly beer hall with a lot place and terrace what is nice this hot summer. Plenty of fresh beer including sorts that you can taste only here and can’t buy in a supermarket. Tasty Italian food.
I was on brewery tour as well. I thought I am a beer geek, but I have learned a lot of new things especially about lager. Higly recommend
C. B.
We did the brewery tour which was very good. We were welcomed with a drink and then a flight of beer for tasting before being taken into the brewery to learn more. Great way to spend a Friday evening.
S. E.
Awesome location under the arches, with a new beer hall fit out. Our guide Mike was great, interesting to learn how it all started and the different variety’s of beers. Definitely be back!
A. K.
The staff here are 10/10, very knowledgeable on the beer and very attentive. I took my boyfriend here for my birthday and Izzy was our server, she was extremely helpful and kind and I would 100% return purely just based on her service. When I had told her it was my boyfriends birthday, she put together a lovely little gift bag for him from the brewery which was lovely. Also the food is amazing. Very happy 😃
J. B.
Awesome location and great beer.
The only thing I can say needs to improve is the staff's knowledge of the menu. But this is a new establishment and that will come with time. The other thing to note is that it's extremely noisy inside the beer hall. Would definitely go back.
A. P. B.
Amazing service at every single aspect and the quality of both the beer and food is well worth it (and of course very tasty). The tour was a very good experience and totally recommend it. Cheers!
D. E.
Fantastic experience at Camden Beer Hall brewery tour. The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable about the entire process.
Would definitely recommend for anyone who is interested.
M. W.
I’d arranged to meet a couple of friends prior to a birthday get together later in the evening and near by. If my rating were just on the beer and arrival it would be at least 4 stars, but to reflected the later service I’ve made it 3. We had an outdoor table which was cleaned down on arrival and I was seated quickly. The table also had an umbrella as it was due to rain. Initial service was good, order taken quickly and delivered promptly. When my friends arrived (late) they ordered their drinks but these took a while to come. We then didn’t see anyone to put a further order in and decided to head off early to the later event. We also had to ask for the bill 4 times prior to paying which again took longer than it should. Overall the Camden Beer Hall is well worth visiting and I’d happily go back. I think we just had some bad luck with the service.
J. C.
Great brewery tour. Great tour guide and the free beer we got to try was awesome
S.
Really enjoyed the Camden Town Brewery Tour.
Nicely laid out location with plenty of outside seating plus a well appointed taproom.
Tour started promptly and our tour host was great- keep it all very easy going, but if fun and also very informative.
Nice set of sample beers to help outline differences and styles too.
Brewery section interesting to see the equipment and processes up close.
L. W.
Good food, beer is fine, in the inside space they could do with acoustic dampening as when there is a crowd in the arch, it’s near impossible to hear anyone across the table from you.
A. H.
Went for the Camden brewery tour for my partner's birthday and had an excellent time. Really interesting tour and a good tasting session. Had a drink in the beer hall afterwards and it's a really cool venue with a good selection of beer. Staff were really friendly as well. Definitely recommend both the tour and the hall for a drink.
P. H.
Great beer tour. Great tour guide. Awesome beer. Amazing venue 👌🏼
R. P.
Came for a very overdue beer tour due to covid and experience was great! Nancy was friendly and informative and we got to stay and drink in the beer hall, would definitely come back!
E. W.
Catalina was a brilliant guide on the tour. Lots of tasters & super cool being able to see behind the scenes. Great atmosphere in the Beer Hall afterwards & good choice of merch 👌
K. Y.
Amazing beer selection and atmosphere. Cool design and great staff. Went for first time during Euros game - Not a sports bar by any means, but all year round this is a great place as an alternative to a stuffy pub.
k.
Excellent vibe and service. As you’d expect, great selection of beers but a surprisingly top-notch eatery as well.
i. w.
Great selection of beers and nice venue, but service was terrible. The bar wasn't that busy but the staff were more interested in cleaning glasses and really slow service no urgency from any of the staff to serve people
M. S.
Great to be back at the Camden Town Brewery, and love the new Beerhall concept.
Only tiny improvement would be a wider bar snack selection, as the fam and I used to love the roasted corn kernels. Hope they return, as the perfect beer accompaniment 🌽 🍺 👌🏼
I. G.
Beers are brill. Service is exceptional. General vibe is alive. Food menu split between pretzels, focaccia and pasta - a little strange but it will do. No schnitzels and no chips after a few beers have really let the team down tho tbh.
P. A.
Came here for some mid afternoon drinking on a Stag mid August 2021. Sat outside. Was very happy. The beer selection is vast. We had the pretzels which were AMAZING. Staff were all efficient and very friendly. Will happily come back. Thank you Camden Beer Hall.
J. P.
Visited for a brewery tour as a Father’s Day present for my dad and had a brilliant time. Our host Catalina was very welcoming and was great at answering our questions and showing us around the brewery. One of our party was running late but we were able to wait and sample some beer in the meantime. Felt very relaxed. After we stayed for a few more drinks in the new bar area which is great. Service was a little slow at times and not sure why the gents toilets has no urinals (making it busier than it needed to be) but overall the setting and beer were great and we had an enjoyable afternoon. Would definitely return
E. R.
Such a great brewery with friendly staff. We walked for about 40 minutes to get here and were not disappointed! I loved the feel of this place. The beers were also amazing.
C. M.
Great place, great menu they are adding to and changing all the time 🤘🏻
n. c.
Absolutely loved our evening at Camden Beer Hall. We had a tour booked, which was the best one we have done so far- the tastings we definitely a great bonus! We had a table booked for inside the beer hall but the weather was so nice so we wanted to sit outside. The team were very accommodating and found us a table outside. The food was great and loved the large range of drinks available.
A. K.
Great tour which was just the right level of info, few beers to try then booked the beer hall - fab evening
D. L.
Camden Beer Hall was a great experience. Good food, good prices, great beers and great vibes!!! Would definitely recommend, would 100% go back..
Y. C.
Joined a tour around brewery and it was nice. I found myself not a fan of IPA here :p Thanks Nancy for kind explanation about all procedures of brewing!
J. A.
My favourite place is Camden! the have a wide selection of amazing drinks, kind staff, and tasty food!!
C. S.
Celebrated my husbands 30th birthday here and it was brilliant. The guys at Camden made sure that he enjoyed every second! Massive shout out to Milo and Mike who went the extra mile, can't fault anything!! Will definitely return!
V. G.
Oh my goodness guys try the unfiltered beer! It was amazing!
B.
Another brewery doing things right. Cool chilled atmosphere, very approachable staff who will describe beers and processes, and the beer. Nice. Really enjoyed a stop in here to have my 5 x 1/3 pint tasting board. This is the way to do beer tasting.
S. B.
A great place for drinks! The atmosphere is cool, plenty of places to sit both inside and out. The beers are fantastic and there's enough choices everyone should find at least one they love. Staff is helpful and quick. Catch on the weekends for a food booth outside!
A. H.
We visited to have drink, some food and go on the brewery tour. All aspects of the visit were great. We got a friendly welcome and the staff remembered that we were going on the tour and told us where to be and when so as not to miss the start. The samples at the start of the tour set everything up really well for the trip around the brewery. The range of beers and food is very good. I thoroughly recommend a visit.
R. P.
Great beer , great venue. Unfortunately let down by the fact that the kitchen was supposed to be open from 12 and when we got there at 1, they weren’t anywhere near ready for service yet. Such a shame as I’d heard great things about the food and how it compliments the beer.
l. m.
Brilliant brewery. We’ve been going here for the last two years but my love affair with their beer has been going on for a lot longer!
It’s a small cosy brewery with a brilliant outdoor area with lights outside and a real part atmosphere. There are usually pop up door stalls there, as well as bar snacks, not to mention fresh beer on tap and to take away.
I have also been on the tour here, which as far as value for money goes, it’s just brilliant. They speak about the brewing process and the differences of Camden beer to other breweries whilst giving you more beer to drink as you walk around. You also get to try everything they have on tap whilst learning about it. Top stuff And will obviously be coming back again soon 👍
J. S.
The tour was great, the guide was friendly and explained everything well. The beer tastings were really nice, and it was interesting to try beers straight from the tank. There were tables for drinks along the mews with a selection of beers and a few food options. They seemed to keep everything clean and there was table service rather than queuing at the bar.
R. M.
Brilliant evening at Camden, really unique set up, tour guide Mike was excellent and loads included for the price, would highly reccomend!
A. R.
You're looking for a chill place with some great beers and decently priced food? This is the place!
Great outdoor serving with some chill background music just at the brewery. My smoked brisket BBQ bun wasn't a 5/5, but a 4/5 for sure.
However, combine some 5/5 beers, a 5/5 atmosphere and 4/5 food to a 5/5 price and you get a 5/5!
I'm happy I live on the street just next to this place!
N. N.
Great tour experience. Started off with a beer tasting and then moved into the arches for the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. Loved tasting the beer straight from the tank!
D. K.
We had an amazing time here. We
tasted few draught beers and of course we bought to takeaway as well. The waiter Marco J. had a fab knowledge about the beers and chat with him was nice. He made our stay unforgettable. Thank you very much.
L. B.
Really enjoyed our experience here! Great beers and brewery tour - well worth the money!! Mike’s tour was informative and interesting, whilst being totally chilled. It was a brilliant way to spend a sunny afternoon, so would definitely recommend.
H. 9.
Brilliant brewery tour and beer tasting with lots of interesting facts! We then stayed for a drink in the beer hall after. Would definitely recommend!
T. S.
Really enjoyed the quick trip to the Brewery Tap. Their beers are fresh and crisp and for the area reasonably priced. The food smelt amazing although we didn't try any. One thing I would say is the hot tap on the toilets is hand scaldingly hot and there is no warning. Would recommend if you are in the area especially as an alternative to the extremely busy Camden Market location.
N. M.
Milly and Izzy were amazing. Great first impression and very friendly ladies. When asked they were giving great recommendations and it was more than worth to visit Camden Hall. Thank you ladies! :)
M. W.
Wonderful from start to finish. Small and imaginative menu. Food was delicious. And so was the beer. The peach bellini beer is not to be missed. Friendly and professional staff. We couldn't have enjoyed it more.
P. H.
A fantastic range of craft beers and the staff are so friendly.
j.
Brilliant!!! Lots of different beers to choose from, great location, staff were great, food was awesome… will definitely be back for the brewery tour!
J. K.
My partner loves hells beer so booked a tour 3 weeks ago which was really good, trendy bar selling camden hells beer and gifts went back again for a drink, friendly bar staff and great atmosphere
F. J.
Camden town brewery is a nice place to enjoy with friends. They have a good outdoor area with seating and some games (such as corn hole- where you throw bean bags through a hole in a wooden platform). They also have some food options and have generally made some good improvements to the place over time. Their beer options are good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to hang out.
C. L.
This brewery has the best craft beers in London hands down. I was first captivated by the Camden Pale Ale but the have quite a few other excellent beers. I finally made the trek out to the brewery and i’m glad I did. Very friendly staff, Crowlers for 5 quid, lots of quality merch and great selection of regular and seasonal brews. I recommend the Double Pale if it’s available!
R. S.
Great brewery tour!! Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend and will be back!
M. C.
My boyfriend goes there for more than a year. Usually it s very busy, the beer it s excellent, they have also pizza, vegan caffe🤔 we ve been saturday during the day and wasn t busy ..the girl from the bar offered me for tasting the beers..uhmm like it!! The girl was super nice and with a big smile!! 5 stars.
You can stay autside to drink beer in the smoke area! Blankets for cold days 🤗
S. M.
Myself and partner had an amazing time at the Brewery and on the tour. Only let down by the fact we didnt receive the pin badge we were due after the tour.
C. S.
This is a review of the bar and not the actual brewery as I only went there for a few drinks.
There are plenty of beers to choose from here so you are likely to find one you like. Personally though it feels like a staff canteen/concrete park when it come to the seating that's available, which is understandable seeing as it is a brewery first. Those I went with loved the place though and would probably give it 5 stars.
R. P.
The beer tour was fantastic, our guide was very knowledgeable and we got to taste lots of beers and learn alot about the company and the brewing process. We booked a table for afterwards and tried a few more beers off the menu. The toilets were spotless and the staff very helpful and friendly. You could visit here again and again and they would always have a different beer for you to try.
T. W.
Great little gem under the overground railway! Perfect place to sample some of the English craft beer scene. IPA lovers need to try the Open Day Enfiled, and stout lovers, the Ink. Both top beers. Only a 15 minute walk from Camden Town Market, so heading this way can make a rewarding day trip.
A. L.
Super cool place and lots of on tap beers to choose from. I personally tried the Vienna Lager and it was super good. My friends loved the New Zealand IPA. We also had some food and everything was delicious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back.
C. H.
We attended the Brewery Tour and had an absolute blast.
We were greeted at the entrance of the bar by Mike, we were a little early and he poured us some beer on the house. Mike who was great throughout the tour was very personal and informative, answering any questions you fired his way.
The tour starts with a brief and interesting story about the brand, followed by tasting session where you try different kind of beers. Mike explained each kind of beer and what went into them, engaging us to explore the elements ourselves. Mike also made an effort to get to know us and always ensured we had a full glass of beer!
The tour it self was engaging, with tasting, smelling, feeling at every stage of the tour.
Once the tour was finished a table was reserved for us and Mike took some time out to answer a few more questions.
Through the whole experience we felt very welcome and almost a VIP.
Would highly recommend it!
C. B.
Nice selection of beers, lots of Belgium and IPAs on tap. Pasta is actually quite tasty, but not the cheapest. The biggest problem I've had with this place was that the service was incredibly slow, about 20 minutes from ordering a pint and actually receiving it, quite frustrating since they were not really understaffed, just super slow. Staff is nice and friendly at least, just disappointing having to wait so long to get drinks! Fix that and you're golden
B. C.
Really fun little tour. The host was super knowledgeable, and very friendly.
And of course the beer was really tasty.
The great selection of food in the beer hall after too.
r. s.
Really fun time on the tour! Mike was lovely and taught us so much about beer! Highly recommend
d. d.
Very well presented & informative. Loved knowing that all their beers are vegan as they are filtered using fossilised sand, rather than fish-guts as many other beers are. Interesting variety of beers to sample during the tour.
M. L.
Great experience!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff
An unexpected impromptu tour of the brewery topped off by sampling 15 of the ales in search of our favourite
G. C.
Pretty great experience. Different type of beers and with an internal/external places to hanging out. If you go to Camden region, you should pass here
H. W.
I highly recommend the brewery tour. It was really interesting and informative and a lot of fun. Our tour guide Mike was very knowledgeable, explained everything in a clear and simple way and had a great sense of humour.
C. J. G.
Superb brewery tour.
M. M.
Superb experience, staff are great and welcoming. Gio served us and he was very nice and gave us some testing for the beers which helped us finding our favorite one.
Turns out the food is incredible as well, I had the burrata and focaccia it was fab, my friend had the ragù she loved it.
I highly recommend the place.
Have a blast. xx
T. C.
Camden brewery! What can I say? If you haven’t been, sort your life out and get down ASAP! The drinks and decor are great but the service is unbelievable. It could be a free bar and I’d still offer to pay, the service is as close to perfect as you can get. Milo (manager) catered to my every need, the other staff we had the fortune of being served by; Tom, Rosie and Tiph. Suffice it to say they have secured a return visit from me anytime I’m in Camden and furthermore, anytime I want immaculate service. We ordered the Beer Hall platter for our food and it was incredible. Seriously, stop reading this and get yourself to Camden brewery now! You’re already 15 minutes late. 10/10
H. B.
Nice lagers and Pale Ale. We visited saterday afternoon. Crowded, live Music, lots of people having fun AND beers. Just go there and Enjoy their beers!
J. U.
We visited for our Brewing Tour last night and our host for the tour was Catalina. She was very welcoming, knowledgable and easily answered all of the group's questions. The tour was interesting from the start to finish a; hearing about the history of the brewery company and how the company is always striving to improve and provide variety. The bar afterwards was a quiet and relaxed environment and the staff went above and beyond to provide a lager that they thought my husband would like. The brewery is so conveniently situated under the Kentish Town West station that it is accessible to everyone and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to know a little more about small-scale brewing industry and for those wanting to sample more than the usual run of the mill lagers in bars and shops.
D. H.
Beer is good but the food selection is genuinely baffling. No chips, no snacks apart from olives and singular large pretzels. There is nothing on the menu that suits the environment. Trying a bit too hard which is a shame. No one comes to a beer hall for giant slices of focaccia.
T. M.
Such an amazing tour. Mike was very knowledgeable and charismatic and made the tour very interesting. Really enjoyed it and was able to taste multiple beverages that camden brewery makes. Would recommend to everyone!!
T. W.
Excellent tour, beer was as fresh as it will ever be, limited food menu but Excellent
J. H.
Such a great little bar tucked away next to the brewery. Cracking beers on tap, I'd recommend the tasting flight and pick 5 different beers. Will definitely be returning to take the brewery tour!
A. H.
Great place, lovely beer with a wide selection. We stopped in during a stag do and they were very understanding, sorted us out.
E. O.
Nice airy refurbishment. Good range of great quality beers and certainly an asset to the area. The place gets quite rowdy, but then that's the price of success.
O. F.
Didn't have food, menu is out of place and a bit pretentious but the staff, atmosphere and selection of beers is superb
T. N.
Great brewery! The red lager is a must-try. Shame I couldn't get the tickets for the tour!
A. B.
Nice famous brewery near Kentish Town West (overground), good to have afternoon beers and chills. It changed a lot and used to be more cosy and cheap though, and the free popcorns made this place special! Sadly not the case anymore.
D. H.
Lively and loud, with an exceptional range of beers, and great food. Menu put together by Michelin chef Theo Randall and brilliantly executed.
Y. T.
Such a nice brewery with friendly staff. I enjoyed a couple of beer and foods, but every staff are friendly and very comfortable time. Was so surprised and pleased that one of the staff brought the T-shirt to my child in the last. Wonderful hospitality it was. Needless to say the beer was of course amazing.
A. B.
The site of the camden town brewery is situated underneath kentish town overground station and once you find it you'll be greeted by a little brewery bar which sells a selection of their fantastic craft beers. On the day that I visited thry had their unfiltered hels lager on tap which was full of flavour if a little pricey. They also organise lots of events to promote their beers as well as having a fantastic Italian inspired in-house kitchen
D. C.
Very nice brewery to visit, enjoy their variety of beers
T. P.
First visit today. Staff were all brilliant and super friendly and helpful. Tried several beers, all really good. Definitely coming back again.
G. S.
Little lovely brewery featuring outdoor seating, food stall and cosy indoor ambience. Wide selection of signature beers plus a few guest beers on rotation. Definitely recommended.
M. L.
Very nice selection of beers good food and very friendly staff
A. G.
Good, well priced beers at the Camden Town Brewery taproom. Well located under the railway arches at Camden Town West. Staff are friendly.
Would highly recommend a visit! 🍻
H. W.
Our first time at the Camden Tank party and loved it. Great day out for the whole family, including the furbabies!
A. P.
We went on a Sunday it was a amazing tour. Our guide Nancy who's also a brewer started off the tour with the history explained by 7 samples ranging from lagers to pale ales and a white beer called Gentleman's wit with a distinctive banana flavour. After this we went round the brewery which was spotless the tour was unrushed and full of information. The staff were friendly . Many of the beers are only available at the brewery and not general distribution. Some are only available on line. After the tour a free drink and a little badge with a complimentary drink next visit. Sadly food wasn't available but never the less the tour fee of £20.00 is well worth it. Strict hygiene and covid 19 guidelines fully in place.
Well worth a visit.
H. W.
Good choice of great beers, in pint, 2/3 and 1/2 pt measures. Staff welcoming and friendly. Great foccacia!
p.
Love this place under the overground station, nice beer garden, great beers!!
E. L.
Would give 6 stars if I could. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful and the tour was great fun. Mike you Canadian king we love you 🤴
M. P.
Great beers! Would definitely recommend the tour! 🍻
N. S.
Good beer, good service, relaxed atmosphere, excellent hangout for a lazy Saturday.
K.
Dog friendly and nice a spacious outside space. Staff are friendly and informative and great selection of beers. Try Arch 55- Wheat Lager and the focacia.
G. B.
quiet and pleasant, especially considering it's not that far from Camden Market
J. M.
Funky location in an alley but definitely worth a visit. Nice patio and a good beer selection.
S. A.
I had a great afternoon at the brewery, the food and drinks were fantastic. We were served by the fella with glasses and snakebites, who was helpful and acomodating. Will defo be back
s. r.
Had a great time at camden beer hall on sunday ,six us were there for three hours and well looked after, firstly we booked inside but we were allowed to alter to outside as the weather was so nice, tried lots of beers and given tasters to try the ones we were curious about , the sour my particular favorite, the staff extremely attentive and freindly we will be back
A. C.
Had a fantastic experience on the Camden Town Brewery with a group of friends. Our guide was very friendly and super knowledgeable. Excellent value as you get lots of free beer as part of the tour! My only negative comment is the use of single-use plastic during the tasting whilst in the brewery itself - it would be great to see them switch to reusable cups instead.
G. M.
Fab fab fab.
Brewery tour was great fun, service brilliant, atmosphere is chilled. Loved it 👍
I.
Awesome craft beer brewery and bar! The beer is amazing.
I really liked their stylish, modern interior.
You can try the different beers they have on tap, including a gluten-free ale that tastes great. A beer of your choice can also be canned to take home.
M. E.
I love this brewery. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious beer on tap.
A. H.
Great beer selection and great service
S. R.
Well worth a visit to the brewery, tours only on weekends and need booked in advance
A. W.
We did a tour here on a super quiet Sunday for the brewery - just us 2! Brilliant atmosphere and meant we could go at our own pace.
Our tour guide was fantastically knowledgeable (even more so considering she’d only been there for 4 weeks!), and is a brewer herself so understands all the processes intimately. We got the whole history of the brewery whilst enjoying a flight of beers and then went into the craftsmanship of each one in turn.
We then walked around the brewing site with cans of hells and got an in depth understanding of how they brew. Tastings of newly brewed batches too!
After the tour we were invited to another pint and we took the opportunity to eat lunch at the onsite pizzeria - sensational. We were truly bladdered!!
For the price of the tour, it’s more than worth doing. We reckon we must have had 4+ pints including the tour itself, a cute pin badge to take home and another voucher for MORE beer 👀🍻 can’t recommend highly enough.
S. S.
Great beer and tour
M. H.
Great choice of beers. Friendly efficient staff.
B. B.
Came for a quick pint and some food was served by gio and was a really good experience great service and very knowledgeable on all the beers available
A. M.
Staff are wonderful, explain all about the different beers. Will make suggestions and great information on the flights of beer. There is a food truck on weekends from Thursday to Sunday. Really tasty food. Unfortunately the outside doesn’t get any sun :( that’s the only downside. Really love this place!
C. C.
Great place to visit when the sun is out as there is a good selection of outdoor seating. Inside is also very nice, and a bit different to a standard pub due to the location under the Kentish Town West railway arches & station. Good beers, relaxed vibes, and they also have food available too.
J. D.
This brewery is worth a visit. The beer selection is mostly lagers which I enjoy. The brewery itself has been recently refurbished so there's plenty of space. It's far away enough from Camden High Street so that tourists don't swamp the place.
R. P.
Very nice. The tap room is a little small, fortunately patio heating hss been provided outside in the seating area. The beer is really nice & they servr rather large pizzas for the beer hungry.
B. C.
I went there with my family. Just arrived from Chicago for a two week vacation. I have to admit you Brits definitely know how to make superb beer. I can't remember much to be all honest, lots of different choices = blind drunk after 2 hours. Thank the Lord the hotel wasnt too far away
T. N. V.
Friendly staff, great beers and amazing food!!
D. C.
My partner and I come here for our cheat days. Outside of the usual Camden Hells and Camden Pale, we love the Show Off Juicy Lager and Double Pale. Pizza's great too, and the place has a good, chill vibe. We've been 4 times in the last two months.
J. L.
Really delicious vegan burger, missed out on the wings so will go back for those. Great choice of beers.
M. S.
Great pub associated with the local brewery. Recently renovated. Offers the full selection of Camden Brewery beers, as well as a few guests on tap. They also offer a taster platter, which you can fill with your own selection of anything on tap. There is also a shop for take aways. You can buy larger bottles that you bring back for refill, which is great when you host a party at home and want to offer the best beer. They offer great street food at least a couple of evenings a week, if not all evenings. There is also tours of the brewery, which you should pre-book.
M. C.
Well, one of my first London craft beer experience and next to where I used to live. Not quite the same as 5 years ago but still brought a smile to my face when I stept inside. Very nice beers too, very fresh.
J. “. B.
Delicious beer. I don't think it's brewed exclusively here anymore but there is still a brewery on site. Nice place, industrial, loads of outdoor seating. You can buy Camden Brewery merchandise here too. They do food at the weekends, usually a popup Street food sort of thing.
Closes early-ish, it's not really a pub more a taproom.
J. L.
Had a really great drink here. Brilliant atmosphere and service, kids friendly too.
D. O.
Great selection of beer, mostly from them but a couple nice guest taps as well. Staff is very friendly, which always makes or breaks a place. Wonderful outdoor space which is great for bringing your own take away to go with your pints!
M. P.
Great time with gio. Very warm and he let me know the difference of all beers to choose the best for me
E. J.
It seems people rarely leave this bar without a sway to their walk, which is probably due to how damn good the beer is here. Brewed just next door, this 'craft' bar is tucked away just under the Kentish Town West station arches and so you'd be easy to miss it.
What adds to the charm of this place is the street food residencies which they have weekly, we've had great burgers here and they manage to keep in theme with 'what kind of food would people like to eat when they're a bit drunk?'
The staff have a good grip on all the different kinds of beer, so providing it's not way too busy, they'll be happy to give you a helping hand with your selection of tipple for the evening.
a. *.
I also sell cute backs and T - shirts. I am happy that we can choose five kinds of beer
M. V. L.
Lovely atmosphere and the beers are stellar
Z. N.
Plenty of delicious beer, and some of the best lager I've ever had.
Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Happy to chat and give recommendations, and not only about beer.
Good size and comfortable venue too.
T. L. W.
Such an amazing tour! We were made really welcome and were fully engaged into the brewery experience!
The staff were thoroughly enjoyable to be around and made it a great experience for me and my friends.
D. A.
This is not their main brewery anymore, but it is still a great spot to have some good beers and grab nice pub food. There's generally a nice, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a chilled out Sunday afternoon
E. M.
Friendly, helpful staff; try the beer for free before you chose then enjoy your pint, and take advantage of the large outdoor area when the weather is good, or ask the manager to turn the gas heaters on if not, either way, you can enjoy! Food served on Thursdays from 18:00-21:30.
N. W.
Camden Town Brewery is hidden away under the rail road tracks of the Overground, and might be a little tricky to spot the first time, but it's well worth making the effort to find it. They have taps of all their standard beers with very reasonable prices, especially if you're sharing a pitcher with a group of some people. If you do, it's recommend that you get there early, as seating space is very limited, but there's plenty of room to spill out onto in the warm summer evenings.
S. S.
Great beer and great vibes. Close to transport links (underneath the overground at Kentish Town West!) and walking distance to Kentish Town and Chalk Farm stations. Food every now and then at the end of the week, running clubs and guided tours. Proper good!
R. W.
Me and some friends had a great tour here, followed by a couple of drinks in their tap room. Great selection of beer, although not a fan of their standard lager myself. Really friendly staff, and a cool environment.
J. C.
Situated underneath the rail tracks, this brewery is by far my favourite in London. Welcoming and cosy, make sure you arrive early on a Friday night to bag a seat but once you do, you're sorted for the night. Great beer, a little pricey to say it's brewed on site but a nice little touch is they serve popcorn with each drink which is a hit with me, totally won me over! They have different food sellers in the court yard outside which are always a massive hit. The only downside is that its slightly awkward to get to with me living south, but its worth the journey
K. D.
Really cool venue with a lot of great beers
T. R.
Tucked around the corner from Kentish Town West station is a haven of good beer and good times. You can't get a fresher pint than in this place and even though they have a large outdoor seating/standing area - everything is served in glasses. Hurrah!
On a Friday night this place is packed to the limit with all types of people. The atmosphere is pretty chilled out and there isn't any music - just people enjoying a good drink. There are a wide selection of beers and lagers on tap and they are mostly all priced at a reasonable £2 for a half and £4 for a pint. And if you're like me and need a lemonade top that's free.
The staff are really friendly and nice and while they are usually too busy to make conversation as it starts slowing down they have always seemed happy to have a chat.
After a good few beers the hunger for something savoury kicks in - but rest assured there will be no need for a dodgy kebab in your future. They have resident burger kitchens where you can get gourmet street food at a reasonable price without leaving the premises.
All in all it's a damn good place to have a drink and mingle.
B. E.
Camden Town Brewery (or should that be Kentish Town Brewery ;-) is a lovely little place. The range of beers is excellent and each one tasty and satisfying in its own way. It's a bit busy on Friday and Saturday nights but there's a good atmosphere - it feels a little bit like an alpine drinking hut - I'll have to go in the snow! And, the little food stalls are usually excellent.
B.
As the home of Camden Town beer, you'd naturally expect to get their own well kept beer on tap (which despite the various megabrew takeover shenanigans is still delicious). In terms of the interior the taproom is perhaps a victim of its own success - visit on a Friday after work to find the indoor space is rammed and the queues to the bar long. Makes for a fun atmosphere though, and you still can't knock their beer
T. S.
Good place to stop off for a Camden Brewery beer. Only down side was they didn't have any Jack glasses for sale 😭 apparently people keep taking them! Recommended for a visit.
T. B.
great tap room. nicely done with lots of outdoor seating. Beer selection isn't great for a brewery tap .. mainly lagers and their main lines ... nothing that interesting. Nice staff.
K. W.
Cool brewery space, though not very accessible, as it's just far enough off the city center to be too long a walk and forever via transit. Didn't like any of the beers, but very hip space with a cool tucked away location. Very quiet in mid afternoon.
J. J.
Love it. Delicious beers and plenty of choice.
E. T.
Great choice of beers and food. Really great place and awesome staff!
J. H.
I absolutely hate the term "craft beer". Not just because of the lameness of the word "craft" itself (which to mean means "craft fair" - quilling and associated naffness), or the fact it's an imported concept (Britain, and more broadly Europe, has its own proud tradition of brewing, this really feels like one area where we don't need to just blindly follow whatever the latest fad in America is), or the fact it often seems to just mean beer which tastes of grapefruit (Cascade hops are really not my thing).
I do, however, like good beer. I don't think Camden Town Brewery are at all bothered about being part of a "movement", they just want to make good beer. And they do this very successfully - they make very good beer. Yes, they do appear to do one (the pale ale) which has some of the hallmarks of the wearisome craft beer "revolution", includes Cascade hops, and therefore probably tastes of grapefruit. But I choose to turn a blind eye to it, and focus on the lager, which is excellent.
I'm not really much a lager drinker normally either, but I love their lager. It puts all other lagers to shame.
There's something really great about their bar, right next to the brewery, which I find hard to put my finger on. It's more than just the fact that the beer is very good. Maybe it's that special feeling you get with any drink of drinking it where it's made. Or maybe it's some kind of bias because I'm a local now.
Whatever it is this is a great place to drink great beer.
F. S.
Really awesome place - beer and staff are truly great! Great plants everywhere. This place is awesome on a hot day. Summer will be spent here!! Went on a Brewery tour too, which was great.
A. W.
Tank party 2017 was absolutely amazing. Merchandise available for purchase, drinking straight from the tanks, food and live music. The bar itself was great with an excellent atmosphere. Honestly can't wait to return!
S. S.
My favourite bar so far in London. We had Milo looking after us lovely guy. They do a taster flight so got the chance to sample every beer. Will defo be back.
B. M.
One of the UK's leaders of craft beer. Excellent range of their staples and latest beers. They are always rolling out new and fun brews. Often they line up food trucks along their location under the railway arches. The decor is basic but you come here for the beer first and foremost.
D. H.
Nice little brew pub under railway arches (as the best ones seem to be) in Camden Town. Good beers, no food during the week, helpful staff and a small range of merchandise. Tricky to get to, but don't let that put you off.
P. M.
Often packed out, but many are only tourists not really drinking so not too long to wait to be served. Clean toilets. Staff are pros. The beer always good.
J. M.
Great little brewery tucked next to the gardens just north of Camden Market. Great beer in a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect place for an evening pint!
N. A.
What an amazing experience! We took our friend for his birthday and we had a brilliant evening. Our tour guide Kat was really fantastic, so informative and good fun. Would highly recommend it!!
A. M.
Came for the Hells beer and didn't expect much else, however there are so many varieties to choose from at the Brewery. Very friendly staff, generous samples and great atmosphere - will definitely return!
P. G.
There's a renaissance in English beer and London seems to be at its epicentre. That being said it's not always easy to find these new brews in pubs near you. What better way than to go direct to the source? As luck would have it Camden Town Brewery have converted one of their arches into a new bar. Here they serve fresh, ice cold pints of their staple beers, regular "one keg" specials and occasional guests. The bar is usually open Thursday and Friday evenings and they're trialling weekends during the summer. There is also handy collaboration with local street food purveyors meaning that the short walk from the main road is bustling with tempting smells. Prices are high at £4 a pint but it is served ice cold - perfect for post work drinks on a sunny afternoon.
L. K.
COME HERE ON A WEEKEND! We came on a Saturday afternoon when the sun was out - it was buzzing. They have a rotation of different food stalls - when we were there there was choices between bratwurst, pulled meats, burgers, pizza and donuts - all cooked freshly in front of you. The beers are fantastic as well - from the usual Hells to Ink and the Wit which you cannot find as easily. There are benches and an outdoor bar, so you are sure of fast service, by the brewery, under the railway as well as an inside area for when it is chilly - BUT! if it is a sunny day and you are nearby I would recommend popping by for a pint... or two ;)
R. M.
Love this place! It always has a great atmosphere! A great selection of their own stuff and a few from other really popular places. Good food too (wasn't too expensive if I remember right). There not a lot of space inside, so I'd advise turning up early on a day with bad weather.
S. M.
Camden Town Brewery is a great place for an after work drink on a Friday, I just wish more of my friends liked beer so I could go there more often! The beers are all excellent, making it very difficult to decide. The best bit is the food vans outside. I cannot resist Bokit-La when they are there - the salt fish bokit goes down very well with a pint of Hells.
A. H.
Favourite craft beer bar. Love the vibes. Weekly street food residencies keep you well fed while you're sampling the amazing beer! Try a taster platter of their best selling beers !
J. Z. H.
Great selection of beers on tap and a fun chill out environment. But when it is busy at the bar hard to have a conversation with the staff over choices available - beer bible for customers might be good
m. m.
Arguably the best micro brewery in London with smooth tasting beers and street foods at the the weekend. The Gentleman's Wit is to die for. Friendly service without the pretension you can find in similar East End venues. Well worth a try.
L. M.
Amazing! Great food, and the beer is perfect!
T. L.
Great beer, great food, nice staff.
E. P.
Best brewery in London and lovely place!
S. S.
Great bar with all their beers on tap... They even have 1litre cans that they fill from tge taps and seal with a ringpull for you to take to the park nextdoor. Great personal tours around what is a working brewery!
M. H.
This place is something else. Great beer with such a fresh taste that I would guarantee not too many of my readers have experienced. Put simply a MUST visit. Beside Kentish Town West Overground Station.
L. d. M.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection of beer and lager, with a nice, colourful and bright environment. Clean toilets and you can see part of the beer production through a glass.very cool place.
D. H.
Great beer and great location. The brewery bar is really beautiful but not that large. I guess its crowded in the evening! The IHL and the Pale Ale are my favourites!
S. D.
Nice local beers for all the tastes. I enjoyed the unfiltered hells, and if the weather is nice you can count on a spacious beer garden. Staff is very helpful and nice to deal with.
R. C.
Great place to find a brew different than the usual. Lagers is their thing. No food available but who cares, nice friendly staff and a nice area to sit in, plus good beer!
A. F.
Very nice place. Good beer
E. S.
This is a hidden gem in Kentish Town, tucked around under Kentish Town West Overground station. Very good selections of craft beer, but my personal favorite is Hells unfiltered. They have a rotation of different food stalls but when I was there they had duck confit with blue cheese, it was awesome and goes perfectly well with my beer.
S. P.
Love this place. The little pop-up food stall is rotated every now and then to offer variety. Good prices for great beers. And the outdoor heaters actually work which is rare.
C. J.
Great design, great vibe, fantastic beers. I messed up my booking for the tour of the brewery but the staff was very helpful and friendly so our experience stayed treasurable.
d. l.
Love Camden North London,I've been going there since 1997...Love it!..Camden Town Brewery is great, great location great tasting ale, good staff...dog friendly environment, well worth a visit!..look forward to my next visit!!!!
P. S.
Really nice bar, didn't take the tour of the brewery but we tried some of their beers. Recommend to visit if you're close by.
H.
Cool atmosphere, but no gluten free beer. I had to order a glass of wine, which is a bit of a shame. I like that they had a vegan food truck outside.
J. H.
Great brewery in the railway arches. Has good guest beers from other breweries in addition to all the Camden beers. Has bottle shop as well.
S. B.
Had a team night out here with a tour of the brewery. Really great value, genuinely interesting tour, friendly staff and a cool bar.
M. N.
Welcome addition to Kentish Town and another good place to try out craft beers. Try the Gentleman's Wit. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it had interesting buzz, but a little let down by limited indoor space which meant sitting in a breezy spot, albeit under cover and with heaters.
S. M.
Excellent service and nice selection of local craft beer
A. E.
Used to be a fun little tap room serving Camden's finest brews - they also serve food and have events and from time to time. We'll have to wait and see how the trap room and very change under AB Inbev's ownership.
E. Z.
Pretty great experience. Different type of beers and with an internal/external places to hanging out. If you go to Camden region, you should pass here

J. J.

Great atmosphere for the Euros and the freshest beer around!
C. X.
Nice prices for their own beer, that is quite good. Amazing ambient. You can even take a look at the barrels and machinery of the brewery.
A.
Love the beers that come out of this place, it was only fair I come and visit. Great setup and lots of outdoor seating for the summer.
K. B.
Went for the tank party this past weekend, was good fun. Have a good variety of their own beer, as well as a few guest taps with beer from far off lands.
A. D.
Great beer, great service ! Wonderful food
B. T.
Good beer and a great venue to enjoy a nice day. The food shack has different hours than the brewery so plan accordingly.
H. D.
Great beers, with some specials changing regularly. Big relaxed outdoors sotting area, but inside is very small. There is always some food truck with jerk chicken or byron or else.
M. R.
Wonderful craft beers. Thursday, Fri and Sat they have local street food vendors. You can also play burger time on their arcade.
C. F.
