Reviews of Cask & Glass
C. S.
This is one of the smallest and neatest pubs in the area. The landlord may seem a trifle taciturn first thing, but the ale is good and we'll deserving of the Cask Marque accreditation awarded.
When the weather is fine, there's seating outside where you can sip your excellent ale and admire some of the superb cars driving by.
S. R.
Great little pub, friendly staff and good beers.Definitely worth a visit .
M. F.
Wooden fixtures...creamy pints...cosy booths...taciturn tender...i love this place. wonderful spot to curl up with a cosy pint.
D. B.
When I walked into the pub I said hi nothing from the little man behind the bar and all of a sudden hello from a lady out of view. I ordered a drink not a please nothing (rude) man. Pub great.
R. B.
Lovely traditional boozer, will be back in again next time I am down on business.
A. C.
Lovely little old style boozer.
Busy in normal times but delightful just now
B. M.
This place is awesome! This is a fun place to meet friends and make new ones. The beer is the in Cask & Glass. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
W. F.
Beer choice limited as two taps had nothing on. Pleasant atmosphere. Sat outside on surprisingly comfy chairs.
D. G.
Quick service and a cute little pub and really good atmosphere.
D. F.
Lovely little pub. Working in London and this place was across the road. Really clean and covid rules are clearly of upmost importance. I don't know the ladies name who works there or maybe she's landlady but she was friendly and made time to chat. Which is a nice thing when on your own in the big smoke! Find it and enjoy it!
M. M.
We are big fans of this pub - a more traditional pub in an area of increasing plastic. Much quieter and more discerning clientele than the nearby Phoenix and a decent pint of pale ale. Despite it getting busy especially after work (small pub) - staff and customers always polite. We live nearby and it's definitely our favourite.

This is a lovely if compact, pint sized pub a stone's throw from Victoria and Buckingham palace. This well maintained Shepherd Neame pub has well kept ales and its spotless interior make it a pleasure to visit. I highly recommend this lovely pub.
M. M.
Lovely little pub let down by lazy staff. Ordered 3 drinks, two of which were spirits. The barman said he didn't have much ice left. I asked could he get more and he replied that he would have to go downstairs for it. I presume that's where the ice machine was located. It was about 40 minutes to closing time admittedly but it wasn't busy, there was two other customers in there. This is a gorgeous little bar with a good selection of beers. Very clean, about 5 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace. They closed at 8pm on Saturday night and am not sure if this is the same other nights. Probably best to ring. Definitely worth a visit

This place is a little gem tucked away between Victoria and St James Park. It has a small outside area out front which normally is full on Thurs and Fri with office workers. Inside it really is a cosy little old fashioned pub that is tiny. Quite a few drinks options. Not sure if they do food. Beer was good quality
S. T.
Small little pub that serves a few Ales and food at lunchtime. Cosy and small inside with a few outside tables, great for summer lunchtime drinks. Ale selection OK overall, nothing too exotic but haveway enjoyed some of the guest Ales. Not had the food to comment on. The barman or publican can come across dour and a bit unfriendly. Not much in the way of banter, even if you have come back a few times. Serves you promptly enough and clears the tables so does his job well enough, just never feel that welcome. Still, quiet relaxing pub, so maybe just his way.
J. W.
Packed, tiny bar full of journalists, political types and office staff having after work drinks. Reasonable selection of beers, friendly staff. If you can squeeze in its well worth a visit.
K. K.
Very nice pub on a corner, with rich history and lovely old building. Enjoyable sitting outside on a warmer day and taking in the sunshine and atmosphere. Very nice central location very close to St James Park, so worth a visit if you are close by.
P. H.
Visited this pub for the first time in about 20 years. Bar staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. Had a great time. Won't leave it so long until my next visit!
A. S.
Nice, cosy Shepherd Neame pub. Four cask pumps to choose from.
Food is limited to cheese toasties, but you know what? They are really nice.
Visited on the Tuesday lunchtime and got seated no problem. I can imagine it being a squeeze at busy times.
M. H.
If you like Shepherd & Name beer, it's good to have a quiet little place in central slightly off the beaten track. Just behind Cardinal Place near Victoria. It's not big but it has comfy seats and a decent pint. You can sit outdoors on the front pavement too so if it's sunny you can take advantage.
S. W.
Great lively pub, very small outdoor space on pavement and you will get constantly told off if you step outside boundary! Great ale.
A. L.
Obviously London prices but a lovely pub with a good range of draught beers to choose from. I spent a lovely sunny evening sitting outside. The pub is on a quiet street, perfect escape from the madness that is Victoria station. Worth a pint if you're nearby.
B. F.
Tiny little corner pub with great ales and service.
J. W.
Great little London pub, cosy, friendly, vintage and a good pint of Guinness. Good for a quiet pint between 2-4pm, read the papers, relax, unwind.
R. R.
Interesting pub close to Buckingham Palace. Single small bar serving Shepherd Neames beer. Decent staff and service. I'd come here again
A. H.
Wonderful "Local" pub only a few blocks from Buckingham Palace. If you're in Victoria and you don't stop here for a pint... you're missing out.
J. H.
Lovely and tiny little Shepherd Neame pub. Has to be a contender for one of the smallest in London. One of the locals once told me Prince Philip has been known to pop in here for a pint. Not sure if there's any truth in that, but it's a lovely idea.
T. T.
This small old put is tucked away close to Victoria Station and is a cosy snug serving good real ales from themselves Neame Brewery. The pub is decorated with wood panneling and photos and drawings from the 19th and 20th centuries.
p.
Tiny back street boozer just off Victoria Street. Frequented by office workers and locals. In the warmer weather crowds often spill out onto the pavement out front. Usually serves up to four Shepherd Neame beers.
c. S. J. D.
Small pub. Bar staff not very polite. Good range of beers...rather pricey. Limited food menu. Rather quaint.
A. T.
Awesome beer, authentic! Oldest pub in London so we were told. Bar tender was amazing!
T. G. D.
Lovely pub! We were exhausted of walking around London and found this little place to have a break. Great prices and good beer.
C. B.
Very small pub. Good of its not too busy. Beer selection average at best.
D. H.
Absolutely tiny Shepherd Neame pub (so Spitfire, Whitstable Bay, Oranjeboom, Asahi etc) tucked away off Victoria Street.
Best enjoyed in summer when you can stand outside, or get in early to grab one of the handful of seats over winter.
J. N.
I love this tiny, pokey, traditional pub with traditional beers. Friendly service.
M. W.
Super friendly staff and manager. A great location, with a great Kentish Ale. The beginning of an abbreviated progressive. It is a small site but super nice.
T. L.
A lovely small 'local' pub, albeit in the middle of victoria. It's often quite packed. Staff are good and the beer is too.
S. R.
Relatively small but well formed. The staff were friendly and the selection of ales was decent and of good quality. Felt like a local boozer, the likes of which are sadly becoming more and more hard to find.
R. C.
A good, very very small pub. No food served except cheese toasties at lunchtime. Lovely place for a pint and a chat
T. B.
Nice little pub near (but not too near) Victoria station. Good beer and good service. We totally saw Thomas Brodie-Sangster here!
J. H.
Charming little pub. The inside fills up quickly so expect to drink on the pavement outside. Good larger and beer options.
T. A. B.
I really don't like the beers you can buy in normal shops or pubs, but in the Cask beer selection is so vast, that even I could find something for me. Highly recommended for beer fans.
N. H.
One of the smallest pubs in England, I am sure. Must seat 10 people. This pub relies on the passing crowds on Thursday and Friday, after local offices close, because the pavement outside is crowded, it the weather is dry. Try a drink here just for the experience, it is max two minutes walk from Victoria Street and five minutes walk from the front of Buckingham Palace.
E. K.
Good for a beer after work. Not too bad on the price side. Very little room indoors. Good space out front for standing outside
D. A.
One of the last spots, calm enough for a nice conversation with your mates. I like the attitude and the smiling faces of the staff - they are always staying positive and want you to have a pleasant stay.
H. M.
Small, old fashioned pub, in the best kind of way. Love that it has lots of bicycle parking right outside.
J. o.

K. S.
Tiny pub with a great atmosphere. Perfect place to grab a drink after work or meet a friend.
C. d. C.
Great little pub on Palace Street. Limited space but good "after work drink" location.
S. H.
A unique and TINY pub - a proper London boozer on a small scale. Great for an afterwork tipple.
S. G.
Great little pub but get there early if you want a seat
B. Q.
Stopped in to grab a few pints and had a great time! We will definitely be back!
R. T.
Usually busy at lunch time and early evening. Nice and quiet at other times. Small inside so people stand outside, great in the summer.
M. T.
Good traditional London pub, don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed!
