Nice cocktails. The happy hour is a nice touch too. However the customer service at this bar needs a lot of work. The blonde door host has a lot of attitude. The music is pretty loud at this bar. So in order to be able to hear your friends you need to sit pretty close together. However the host does not like it when you do not keep to her sitting plans. I’m not being funny you can’t have it both ways. You either let people sit where they want so they can talk. Or turn the music down. If it’s not the attitude from the staff, then it’s bums or elbows in your face from the staff doing table service to each table. The staff need to be more aware of the people around them. If it was not for the cocktails I would have given this place zero stars.

We had a terrific time at The Cocktail Embassy. Lovely Paulina looked after us so well. She couldn't have been a more delightful host. The cocktails are absolutely delicious and the decor / atmosphere very warm and inviting. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Cocktail embassy is an experience everyone has to have at least once when in Crystal Palace. Whilst the selection of drinks is incredibly vast and exciting, the service you get from the incredible staff (big shout out to Paulina who makes our experience at CE so memorable every single time) is on such a different level. Really nice cocktails and friendly staff with a pleasant atmosphere. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is I do think the prices outside of happy hour are pretty steep, even for London. Having said that, fully recommend to anyone to go during happy hour!

Very Nice Cocktail Bar.. very quirky with nice friendly staff. Perfect for date night, catching up with friends or even having Birthday drinks there. They do Happy hour but I have to say the cocktails were quite weak, we had the boogie woogie and we could not taste the alcolhol☹then we had a bellini which was much better. They play good music and it has a Lovely vibe in there. We will definitely be back there soon 🍹🍷💃

We were pleasantly surprised with the ambience upstairs. There is a nightclub downstairs open till leat. Neat furniture and bar, and a cocktail menu that invites you to try and experience. The chilly margarita was a bit of a mistake from us as our mouths were on fire for the rest of the night. They were kind enough to offer us a mojito on the house. We will return.

Very tasty cocktails and great value for money, especially during happy hour! I happened to see the bartender make one of my drinks out of the corner of my eye, and noticed that even though the glass was 95% full, the bartender still popped open a brand new bottle of bubbly just to top it up. They didn't know I was watching as I was not in their line of sight: they could have easily just sent me the drink without that tiny extra splash. It's this sort of little thing that I really appreciate, and think demonstrates that they care about their cocktail craft and customer satisfaction. To that point, the staff were lovely and attentive without hovering. In my view, the interior design strikes a nice balance between intimate (cosy) but not too pretentious. I'll definitely be back.

The staff are really nice and friendly, drinks are great and tasty. However when I requested for the bill was just provided with the card machine no bill. I didn't not know if it was my bill, any extras attached or miscalculation. When I asked for my bill the waiter was unable to produce it.

Well first of all you will be impressed with the deco then you got the furnishings high spec then you got the amazing cocktails and two bars upstairs and downstairs but the icing on the cake is the music, hats of to the main man who runs the place with is gorgeous wife beautiful couple can't safe enough. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good drinks. But I need to echo what other reviews on here have said - please don't hand customers their glasses by holding them around the rim. Shouldn't do that at the best of times, let alone at the moment - especially when you're doing everything else so well in terms of social distancing etc.

Very good variety of cocktails and other drinks. The cocktails are excellent and made really well. The decor is really nice too and the downstairs has a d.j and mini night club experience. There was a argument between a couple there that sort of ruined my experience. If it wasn't for that it would be 5 star.

Love this place it is like a diamond in the rough the staff are always polite and friendly the atmosphere is great a lovely place to have an after work drink or even to party at the weekend this cocktail bar is a must. It's up there with some of the finest bars I know in the West end except it's in South London. Arrived on 24/10/2020 didn't book for the night, but was pleasantly shown a downstairs table for 2. It was a nice atmosphere in the venue. Waiters and Bar staff were working on a table only service due to COvid 19 tier 2 lockdown. Apart from that I had an amazing night, serve was on point all the staff were pleasant and welcoming. We started with a glass of water from the bar staff, we then ordered cocktails started with Mai Tai x2 and Expresso Martini x2 they were very nice presented and nicely flavoured not watered down. We had service at hand always. Later in the night we had a Signature Cocktail made by the Head Bar man, he was pleased with us ordering the Mr Don Beach Cocktail, he explained it had taken them 6 months to put it together.... Wow it was amazing in taste as well as presentation. Got another bar nan to take fotos of us, he was funny and loving the pleasure of taking our fotos. I would highly recommend Cocktail Embassy to everyone, near and far. If you love Cocktails it's the place. Thanks again Head Bar man for a fantastic night. We will be back sooooon.

Really nice cocktails, service was great.. the gent was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Lovely decor and seating. A little expensive but the overall experience feels worth paying extra for, outside looks swanky but dress code is smart casual. Nice place for drinks with friends or a date. Also has downstairs used for parties/event til late on Saturday. Some free parking nearby after 6.30-7pm, very close to bus depot and taxi rank.

Cocktails are great, good music on the weekends (I prefer Fridays) radio classics such as rnb; rnb pop; popular rap, pop. Think capital Xtra. Staff are usually really nice and friendly, they will occasionally offer to create new drinks if you have a request not on the list. They have seating upstairs and down, I prefer downstairs as it's more intimate. All in all, good energy; good music; good drinks and a great mixed crowd.

Nice chill spot. Very nice deco and staff is generally quite friendly.....however I visited recently and ask the guy on the floor to recommend a drink to me in which he did. I then ask the bar tender if my drink was a virgin cocktail as my drink tasted no different from my partners’ which was meant to be virgin. I suggested he add more alcohol to my drink or I’ll have another. He was then very rude to me saying he can’t do anything and walked off. I then had to speak to the guy who initially served us (floor waiter) who then offered us another.

Very nice bar but I don't like the fact the waitors give you your drink holding the rim of the glass where you'll put your mouth. Very unhygienic. Even with a wine glass, they hold out wrong and it's quite unsettling.

Nice little local cocktail bar. Went for a mate's birthday - yes the drinks are a bit on the pricey side for Crystal Palace but it was a good night. We stayed downstairs in the 'VIP' section with the DJ so I can't speak to the experience in the upstairs bar. Speaking of the DJ he was a bit grouchy, didn't want to take requests which I think goes with the territory really however he did ok playing to a relatively mixed crowd but his set (which lasted all night) was not cohesive. BUT you don't go to C E expecting an amazing night of music, its not a rave. The drinks were good, great range on offer. Toilets are clean and no attitude or cover change on a blustery September night.

Booked 2 tables here. The tables didn't fit 10 people which was planned. Space was tight on the tables Drink were nice. Table service offered. More on the pricey end. Friendly staff. Club down stairs was packed. Toilets were clean.

Good place to go and tables are all set out well. Because of covid things will be different to normal but I went the first week everything opened back up and it was decent. The staff are very proffesional. They come to your table now and you have to let them know what you want and its not long before your drink arrives either. Would I go again? Yes when covid is over as going out is all about socialising and not sitting at a table all night.

Really nice cocktails. Lovely decor. I don’t understand the service charge when I had to go up to the bar and order the drinks??? Especially when it was just TWO of us and whole bar was empty. Don’t mind leaving a tip but it’s too expensive when you charge £9 for basic cocktail plus any extra for uplift in spirit and addding a fruit flavour to a cocktail. Get rid of that service charge for 2 people. However, I will base my rating on the actual drinks which was really nice. The toilets are very clean as well.

I love this place. The cocktails are second to none, the staff is really nice. Little things they do without having to be asked, such as giving you a jar of tap water with fresh mint and cucumber, make all the difference. My partner and I went there couple of times on a Saturday and had a lovely, cozy seat and some of the best cocktails in town. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite places for a relaxing drink. Cocktail hour is between 6 and 8 so it lasts 2 hours. The drinks are flavoursome and music and atmosphere are very pleasant

Not a bad night. Drinks are nice, decor is nice, toilets are clean, customer service is excellent. I reckon this place will pick up over the next few months as word spreads. The DJ is friendly , has a varied selection but needs to not play the whole track out before mixing into the next track. 1min 30sec - 2 mins is enough for one track. No need to play the full 4-5min track, gets boring..... overall a nice place with a lot of potential.

Stylish interior, close to two train stations, and friendly service. The "Blueberry Muffin" was delicious if you're in the mood for a sweet cocktail with a great gingerbread taste. 4 stars instead of 5 though because table service seemed the only option which felt awkward & unnecessary when we just wanted a casual night (we wanted to get drinks at the bar), and it was not clear such service would incur a +10% increase in price for every drink. I'd prefer either the prices to be clear, or the details of insisted table service to be clear.

I really liked it here has a good atmosphere and really good mix of drinks also has two floors so you have party here. The only downside is there very few tables and chairs upstairs and the ones that are there are quickly snapped up and reserved. In fairness they should have stools around the bar because that's where I ended up standing for most of the night.

Some of the cocktails had too much ice in it and while waiting at the bar, there are bar staff around bringing your drinks over from 2 feet away and charging you a £1.00 for the priverllage. The club downstairs was good though.

Firstly I have given cocktail embassy four 🌟 because of the cocktails; which are to die for. However I do think it is a bit expensive for South East London but maybe its the area. They have a a resident dj, who has been there for a while and plays OK music. If you haven't planned a night out and want to have a dance and a nice cocktail; then cocktail embassy is the place.

I visited cocktail embassy this previous Saturday and found the staff very welcoming and the drinks and service amazing. The ginger bartender who took care of us made our visit even more fantastic with his excellent customer service and made one of the best old fashioned I’ve had , will definitely be back again for more
