Great, balanced (subtly strong) drinks. They treat you with a welcome beverage, olives, and small fried bread crackers. The service is attentive, and the atmosphere is nice. Prices range from mid-20's up to £80+ per cocktail (higher end comes with a fancy presentation).

Finally had the amazing opportunity to visit the Connaught Bar this was week and what an amazing experience it was! The service was amazing, the snacks and aperitif refreshing and amazing menu. The classic martini is a must and the table side preperation is unbelievable. Absolutely great atmosphere and overall just beyond amazing and above expectations. Amazing service, amazing cocktails, amazing place. Sure, you'll end up paying 20 quid a drink, but you'll be served top class cocktails in a great atmosphere. I had a Negroni. Since the price is 2x other places, was the drink 2x better? Not really. But was it worth it? Definitely!

We had the most wonderful evening at The Connaught Bar. Ago and the bar team are extremely impressive, they guided us through the menu in detail, created the most unique and delicious cocktails and made us feel so welcome. Pretty decent cocktail bar but not sure I would rate it the best in the world, although probably one of the better ones in London. It does have delicious martinis - would rate it the second best martini in London. Has a wide cocktail list but a few drinks on there I find quite sweet. Also, a bit disappointed in our waitress that led us astray and choose a very very sweet tequila drink when we explicitly said we didn’t like sweet drinks…

A delightful experience all round. Staff very helpful in suggesting the most appropriate cocktail and the welcome apperatiffe of the day was a wonderful way to start the experience. I ordered flint, a cognac based cocktail which managed to be simultaneously warming and refreshing. Ordered the Croque as I was having an early snack for dinner- beyond expectations. Essentially a full meal, delicious taste and the fries that accompanied it were freshly cut. Probably the best meal I've ever ordered off a hotel bar menu. The only downside is that, being a fairly small bar, the tables are likewise quite small so if ordering food it's a bit of a balancing act to fit everything in the space. They don't take reservations; wasn't a problem for me as I arrived at opening time, but I imagine getting a table in the evenings may involve a bit of a wait. Would highly recommend anyone to visit, fully understand why it's one the accolade of worlds best bar, no question I will visit again, not least to try the famous Connaught Martini.

If you want to try the best drink of your life come here! Try the "Negroni 10 to 100" or get advice from the Connaught Bar staff on the best drink that would satisfy your taste! Definitely the best cocktails in London! There is a reason why they have been voted "The best bar in the world!" The cocktails, the vibe and the service are fantastic! Been here several times. The prices are high, but what you pay for is well worth the cost. This is without a doubt the best martini I've ever had, and I've drank my way across the best London has to offer. Splurge for the Connaught gin, and I'd strongly recommend the tonka bitters with a lemon twist.

OK so let's get past the bit at the start that everyone needs to be aware of. It's one of the best bars in the world, and unless you're a hotel guest you cannot book....this means that you need to expect to queue to get in and get a table. If this isn't for you then don't bother going. We arrived at 5pm and queued for an hour (with two groups ahead of us walking out making our wait shorter than it might have been). If however you're happy to wait, you'll not be disappointed! The cocktail menu is really interesting with cocktails that'll excite/challenge you in equal measures, with flavours and combinations you won't find elsewhere (hence the title of best bar in the UK) If you're a Martini fan (or even if youre not) then treat yourself to one here as its done in front of you at your table by an engaging and skilful bartender. The service once you're in is really swift from a very attentive team. The place feels exclusive and unique but without being overly pretencious making it a real treat.

Beautiful bar with excellent service. We were dressed rather casually as compared to the other patrons but received the same attention and service from the wait staff. The water served was filtered and crisp, with slices of cucumber. Complimentary nibbles were replenished frequently and we were sent off with shots served in tiny martini glasses at the end of the night. We were also gifted with recipe cards of the cocktails we ordered - a nice touch, especially to remember a special occasion by.

If you have not been to this bar in London, then you are missing out on one of life’s finest experiences. The bar team here is next-to-none and will make you feel as if you’ve just walked into their living room. The martinis are to-die-for as well as they have a very fine single malt selection. This is a Beautiful People kinda bar located inside the Connaught Hotel in the heart of the Mayfair district...swanky techno music playing in the background as you sip on your cocktail. If that’s your scene, then this place is for you. There are tables near the bar, but no seats *at* the bar which immediate made me a bit suspicious. I almost gave it 4 stars—or fewer—on that account, BUT...the cocktails are simply phenomenal. If you’re into Martinis, then you’ll enjoy the experience here. If you’re not into Martinis but want to be—this is DEFINITELY the place for you! The bar tender—who knows what he’s talking about—rolls out a cart to your table and interrogates you on what flavors you like. They use a vermouth that’s a blend of 3 different white vermouths, giving the drink depth and complexity. You choose your gin (or let him choose for you), then you choose one of 5 house-made bitters, giving the drink an extra layer of complexity—for me, this makes it a REAL cocktail. I personally like my Martinis “wet” (more vermouth than usual), which the bartender easily accommodated. And you also get your choice of garnish—fantastic since I prefer lemon peels over olives. All said and done, this was one of THE BEST Martinis I have ever had (even better, alas, than the ones I make myself...) If Negronis are your thing, they currently (as of Aug 2019) serve a “10 to 100” Negroni, made with gin produced last year in honor of the hotel’s 10th anniversary and the Negroni’s 100th birthday. Very smooth, very approachable, not too bitter, and the flavors opened up a bit as the ice ball melted slowly. So, despite the ambiance not being what I typically look for in a top notch bar, I have to give this place 5 stars on account of the superb cocktails, the attentive and friendly staff, and the professional mixologist behind the bar.

A very beautiful and posh bar in The connaught Hotel... And what made the experience so memorable, it has to be the Martini. The bartender will push the entire Martini cart to you and prepare the drink right at your table depending on your preference for the flavour. The bartender is very friendly and would explain every step. The drinks are not cheap, but it is definitely quality stuff. Honestly nothing to fault, and will definitely recommend/return!! We made a move to Helene Darroze not too long after and they moved our drinks over. PS: I also found this place to be more hospitable as compared to American Bar (where they are Number 1).

One of the best 50 bars of the world, The Connaught definitely lives up to its reputation. You have to visit it atleast once if you're around London.

The best bar in Europe in 2019 and I am so happy I can say I have visited and tried their signature Connaught Martini beautifully prepared by Miss Maura who did her absolute best in servicing a young cocktail afficionado. The Martini trolley is definitely an experience to remember, with barista guiding you to choose the ingredients to your liking/time of day/hunger level. Choosing the lemon twist might have been the icing on the cake as for the presentation. You are constantly being served with little nibbles and your glass of water is always being topped up. On the end, I have been given a recipe card of my cocktail. What a nice touch! Service was impeccable, Miss Maura was splendid - professional, devoted, thoughtful and endearing. Also, I had a pleasure of seeing Mr. Agostino Perrone, the mastermind behind Connaught Bar, walking by and managing the bar with an ease and a smile on his face. I remain positively overwhelmed until I visit The Connaught Bar again. This is the top of drinking experience with an attention to detail worthy of a price tag it carries. The Connaught Bar has made an indelible impression on me, I can't say thank you enough. A presto!

So stylish, so elegant - and innovative at that. Connaught Bar feels like a club rather than the usual either old-fashioned leather and glory or overstyled all too modern bars of luxury hotels. The creation of cocktails is a celebration of its own and the mixologists and the way their work is being presented add a lot to the experience. Some recipes also have a touch of playfulness to them - such as the charcoal-flecked glass of their Amberblack cocktail that nicely reflects the sultry, decadent décor.

This bar is stunning, cocktails were beautifully made, excellent customer service - if I'm judging it purely on this, it's a 5 star and above. However...the clientele this place attracts, I had to take off a star. Unfortunately, the clientele within the bar and hotel are snobby, pretentious, stuck up, fake, not inclusive... I've enjoyed cocktails at their sister bar, The Blue Bar and didn't experience that there. Frankly, the clientele were unwelcoming and for that reason I personally wouldn't return. But, it would be unfair to give a lower score as the bar it self was beautiful.

Truly fantastic service matched with 5* quality of drinks served at this bar. As a martini fanatic, I thoroughly enjoyed the classic Connaught Martini experience - a trolley is brought to your table, complete with gin, a house-made vermouth concoction, a selection of bitters and garnish to taste, which the waiter guides you through. Of course, it is an expensive affair, however this is an establishment where you "get for you pay for". Will definitely come back.

The bar is not the biggest in terms of seating space (which lends itself to a nice atmosphere), but, it more than makes up for it with the brilliant service and the quality of drinks. We opted for the Connaught Martini, which is by far the best Martini in London. The Maestro (there is simply no other way of describing the skill of the bartender) makes the martini a work of art. After choosing a gin, the home made vermouth is mixed with hand carved ice and blended with your choice of bitters, which you explore beforehand. The mixing part and the martini itself you'll just have to experience for yourself.

Classic, indulged service and standards. Old-fashioned British style and class, with a buzz that provides a lively atmosphere and ambience Beautiful wafer-thin chips and rotund olives are served with your drinks (seek out the martini trolly) and staff have a service presence that causes them to appear like ninjas with an offer to top up your glass when you have drained it; but you are never troubled by them in the interim. This should be a favourite for everyone that considers a martini 'their' drink

This is the epitome of what a bar in a top 5-star hotel should be. It is cosy and friendly with absolutely impeccable service and an incredible drinks menu. It is busy though not rowdy and rarely too much. Now, I’m there, perhaps, 4 or 5 times a year, so not a one-off but hardly a regular. And yet, whenever I come, there is there will be one of two of their bar tenders asking either “a beer or a glass of Sancerre?” or, in German, “good to have you back, Sir.” Should I come in after dinner, they will wave the bottle of Octamore at me, querying if it’ll be a single or a double... It feels like my living room (though with much better service!).
