Reviews of Coopers Arms
S. P.
I hired the room upstairs for my girlfriend's 30th Birthday. The room is classy and perfect for around 40 people. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at every opportunity, they even helped us assemble a balloon arch and they took everything down at the end. They allowed us to rearrange the room and aided us in doing so. The food menu for parties had changed recently along with the chef, this was a complete success, as many of the guests commented on how tasty the food was! We had an amazing night and would certainly recommend.
N. P.
I am a fan of youngs pubs and the coopers is right up there.
I love the cosy atmosphere, the open fire and a quaint little garden. As expected in a youngs establishment, good quality well kept beer and a good pub grub menu.
e. g.
Cracking pub! Plenty boozers around the area but this is always top of my list. Food, staff, ‘ambiance’...will be back on my next trip down SW! Cheers for the warm welcome!

I am a local I visited last time 5 years ago.
I came this Sunday to have a roast, it is very good food and friendly atmosphere.
I will be back more regularly.
Thanks to all the friendly staff
R. E.
Very impressed with the recent changes at Cooper’s Arms. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great high-end menu and reasonably priced for Chelsea. Love the small garden. So intimate and inviting! Will definitely be back.
M. M.
Drinks were great. Food was good! There's a fireplace too ♥
H. P.
What a terrific experience I had at what I thought would be a routine trip down my local boozer. The new staff are warm, kind and were more than willing to accommodate my party and I. The hospitality of the staff and the brilliant manager were topped only by the magnificent food. Pub grub has no right to be this good. Thank you!
F. o.
Loved this cozy pub, lovely food and even better cocktails
R. M.
Went there to watch the England game with a client and to eat. Our booked table was upstairs and with a modest screen that was difficult to see. Sadly for them and us, they reportedly only had one chef in the kitchen and so the service was very slow, though attentive. I'm sure I would give more stars on a more normal visit!
F. P.
Great service and excellent Sunday roast with generous portions. Dog friendly too!
S. A.
Absolutely love this pub, tucked away in Chealsea! Amazingly friendly staff, and friendly welcoming manager who's always smiling! beautiful little garden and amazing food! I have been there for lunch and dinner a few times and would 100% recommend this pub! Sunday lunch was exceptional!!
B. M.
Lovely looking pub and great beer but only one poor member of staff on a busy Saturday afternoon waiting food and drink!
S. B.
Best Sunday roast in town
R. O.
Pretty good all round, service was fine and it was pretty busy, food good, will return
G. H.
Loved the pub the drinks were delicious - especially the monito - and the server Thor was absolutely brilliant!!! fantastic service - will definitely be back!
m. t.
This is a lovely traditional London pub, updated sympathetically and with style. The staff are lovely, knowledgable not only about their produce but also the local area. Great drinks selection and the food looked amazing though we didn't have time to try! Next time.
J. B.
Decent pub, has a secure outdoor smoking area
M. R.
Really lovely welcoming staff. Attentive in taking orders and the espresso martini I tried was delicious.
In comparison the The Phene pub nearby I would always opt for the Coopers Arms because the Phene staff are incredibly rude.
D. P.
Nice pub, good atmosphere
E. M.
I have recently visited this place and I was very impressed and satisfied. The drinks were great and the staff was amazing, especially our waitress Gosia – she was so kind yet extremely professional. I am definitely coming back!!
I. M.
We had lunch here last Sunday for the first time and we loved it! My roast chicken was very tender, full of flavour and there was plenty of it. The vegetables were so good and varied I'd love to just have a plate of these. Our lovely waitress was so efficient and just got everything. We'll definitely be going back.
A. G.
Food was ok, cosy pub.
r. h.
Visited Coopers arms for the first time and had a really great experience food was lovely and staff very polite and attentive especially Christian.
I also felt very safe with the measures that they have put in place during this time dealing with covid.
Would definitely reccomend and look forward to going back.
A. I.
Outdoor space great for summer but also I think I saw a fireplace- must be magical in Christmas time! (definitely coming back in winter) Waitress named Gosia- sweet and professional made our visit even more enjoyable.
P. E.
Lovely Pub, food seems to be improving. Good selection of lager, friendly staff. Quiz night's on Tuesdays I'm booked in for next week so shall update once I have attended.
P. J.
Omg! My visit could not be better !
Plant burger was amazing, same as a cocktail I had. Also the service is very much on point, our waitress Gosia very kind and cheerfull spirit - I want to visit Cooper's Arms again!

I loved spending a couple of hours at the Coopers Arms in front of the fire. My partner and I had had a walk through Chelsea and rewarded ourselves witha pint and a glass of wine and sat down in some comfortable chairs. Good selection of drinks and they have food too. The place is really nicely decorated for the Holidays as well. Well worth a visit.

It's been 12 years since I last visited this pub, some friends had their wedding reception there. I returned on Friday for their anniversary. This is a lovely little pub, friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere make for a great evening with old friends. I wish I lived nearer.
J. P. O.
Best Sunday roast in Chelsea! Very nice waitress. We had our Sunday treat at the Albert room, highly recommended.
H. S.
We love the Coopers Arms! It's our favourite spot in Chelsea for a Sunday roast and I daresay their yorkshire puddings are some of the best around. Lovely pleasant and cosy spot to wile away an afternoon.
H. F.
Slow service but nice setting. Went there on 26 November and it was nice to get a beer after the Tutankhamun exhibit. Ordered food and it took 45 minutes for it to arrive. Just arrive with the expectation for slow service and fast beer and you won’t be disappointed.
C. P.
Lived in Chelsea for years and gutted I've only just discovered this pub. Had a really fun work dinner and me and two colleagues stayed on for Friday night drinks. Staff were fun and friendly and the barman told me their spirit measurements are larger than your standard 25ml. Will be coming back again!
J. M.
What a difference! Obviously under new management. Busy and great atmosphere, food much better, not amazing but over all feel is a great pub! Look forward to another visit.
F. M.
STUNNING venue and absolutly love the new look, relaxing and beautifully decorated.
Staff are funny , efficient and friendly. Food delicious and vegetarian and vegan dishes available , personally met handsome and talented chef Mirko and interacted with pretty much all members of staff who equally made me feel very welcome . SUPER CLEAN in all areas also has a medium-large venue room upstairs for private hire and decorated to high tasteful standards. Family oriented especially on weekends.Security at the door often but truly not needed. Well done to deputy manager Jasmine Peters. This venue is also dog friendly.
K. D.
One of my favourite pubs in London.
Warm and homely with 5 star food and 5 star service.
T. K. D.
Been coming here for a while and the recent changes to furniture and layout have improved this place nicely. A great little traditional pub but slightly limited on choices of beers/ales in comparisons to some others nearby.
f. l.
Amazing food and service, really good about social distancing and COVID - feel very safe. Omar and Rosie have been fabulous staff. Great atmosphere. 5/5 all the way !
K. W.
The Coopers Arms is a lovely pub just off the King's Road - we had a private dinner upstairs in the Albert Room and the staff were really helpful and friendly, particularly Dustin. I would definitely recommend it for a private lunch or dinner, or just for a drink or bite to eat in the pub downstairs. I've been for the pub quiz before and there is a really nice atmosphere.
j. w.
Came in on Sunday and had a lovely roast. Read some reviews but have to say we enjoyed the food and team were very friendly and looked after us well. Def be back
A. T.
Used to live in Flood St and Coopers was my local. Popped in for lunch with friends who were also Coopers regulars in bygone days. We all wanted a light lunch but the menu was quite limited. Had sourdough with smoked salmon and two poached eggs for £9. It was ok but my local cafe in Brixton provides a much better lunch for £9. Guess you have to cover the rent. Staff were lovely - the roast dinner looked pretty good but not great if you want a light lunch - salads?
I know it is a pub but nowadays one expects a selection including some healthy options.
j. A.
Spacious, yet somehow a little cramped, this isn't the best pub in the area, though it does have some charms. The Moose head is pretty cool, and the little garden is handy, if not exactly picturesque. Range of beers is ok, though there always seems to be at least one beer off. Not tried the food. Ok for a pint, but you have better options nearby.
A. D.
Very friendly staff, good service nice atmosphere. Quiet too which is a win on a Sunday afternoon!
S. P.
Excellent service, replaced my dodgy pint immediately 👏
Lovely spot just away from the busy King's Road
D. S.
Really nice pub, I was supposed to be meeting people but turned up an hour early so settled down with a book and a couple of pints. I didn't realise the people I was meeting hadn't arrived until 1 hour after they were due. There aren't many pubs where you can relax and lose a couple of hours in a book ...
a. c.
Had Sunday lunch in here with friends the food and service were great, the bar staff were really friendly, the pub felt warm and cosy with nice decor, we sat near and open fire which was amazing as it was so cold outside, great place, great food and great experience!!!
M. H.
Great local pub, great food. Definitely worth a visit.
N. D.
Hidden gem inside the quite Chelsea👍🏻 suprising interior with a real firepalce🙌🏽
A. S.
Love this pub. Great garden, nice ambience, friendly staff, fab food. Space good for 1 2 1s or group nights out. Close to kings road and about 5 to buses in any direction ckapham junction, Battersea or Sloane Square/victoria or if walking about 10 minutes walk to victoria station. Does get busy from a bout five when offices nearby close, however this soon clears down. Can reserve tables in advance etc. Excellent well done the Cooper's arms.
T. B.
Traditional English Pub, owned by Young's Brewery, Tuesday night quiz night is very well attended, Friday evening tends to be busy, but it soon gets quieter, when then after office drinkers leave and you can again enjoy conversions.
S. W.
Nice atmosphere and although busy, not overcrowded on a Friday evening. Food was unfortunately a bit of a letdown - the patte and toast had the patte unusually spread on the toast and it was all a bit soggy in the middle but to their credit they removed it from the final bill. Would def return and would give the food a second chance too.
T. R.
It was our "local" during our stay in Chelsea. A Young's pub, the ambiance was very English. I have to say the the food was excellent, exceeding my expectations and the staff were friendly and very helpful!
A. H.
brewery pub but feels like a local. Drop in for a drink, but prepare to stand when it's busy as people book ahead. Must be a good sign! Food looked great and will be going back!
O. V.
This pub has changed so much over the years but it’s always a fantastic place to meet and eat
E.
Great British Pub with the lovely staff members!
Real fire place and a little terracegarden.
Full filling food.
Clean toilets.
J. S.
Lovely roast chicken dinner
S. K.
Haven't been here for a while, looks fantastic! Love the garden refit and the interior. Had wings and kofte skewers, and curly fries, we loved it! 5 stars!
E. A.
Food was sexy
And they took rona seriously made me wear a mask
Very reasonable prices especially considering we're in Chelsea
S. H.
Reasonable food, although the burger was not the biggest I've had, it was nice. Cheap beer, friendly staff, but very slow food service for 19 of us!
H. H.
A pretty nice pub just off the busy kings road.
They have a cosy little garden tucked away in the back.
Be sure to book a table if you're coming in for Sunday lunch.
C. C.
Love the Koopers and really enjoyed the burger and chips! Simon was a friendly and helpful waiter! :)
N. H. -. F.
I've always been with big groups for Sunday lunch and they've never quite managed to bring the food in good time with some waiting for an hour. The food is good however.
M. L.
Busy pub with a good selection of beers and spirits, good service
M. A.
Good ambience, friendly staff and delicious menu. And last but not least, they have the most enjoyable quiz night in the neighbourhood.
S. B.
Nice Chelsea boozer. Good upstairs room for events. Nothing super special but certainly a nice pub. Has a small courtyard too for lazy summers days
T. H.
Wow wow wow the duck bonbon is fantastic the new chef is a wizard.
j. c.
Handsome pub but slow with the food...
T. S.
Nice pub however very strict , we went outside and they asked us to move down a road as we wanted to smoke and made us leave our drinks inside
S. C.
This is one of very few proper pubs left in Chelsea. Nice quiet street away from bustle of Kings Rd. Good choice of beer as well!
M. T.

M. H.

M. J.
A decent local pub in the heart of Chelsea, serving a reasonable selection of beer and good food. Friendly staff.
A. L.
Got better but still not great. Some staff are ok, but more often then not, they are unfriendly. Expensive but that is normal in Chelsea.
C. O.
Lovely atmosphere, real fire, weekly pub quizzes. All age clientele here. Unpretentious!
K. W.

(Translated) Favorite pub in London. Also as a tourist a recommendation, who lives longer in Chelsea, can hardly avoid it if he likes to drink beer.

Lieblingspub in London. Auch als Tourist eine Empfehlung, wer länger in Chelsea wohnt, kommt kaum daran vorbei, wenn er gerne Bier trinkt.
