The covered courtyard is quite nice and people are nice. Beer was good (hard to be any different around here). The pulled beef sandwich was a little more spiced than I wanted but the Humis, although was spiced, was very good. The sandwiches are very large but fries are extra and the small plates are indeed small. Price is fair. All in all I would go back.

Excellent, large and atmospheric old wine bar with a particularly well chosen range of wines at fair prices for the area. It's deservedly popular, so it tends to be busy, especially in the early evenings after work.

It has a very popular wine bar section at the front, frequented by lawyers from the nearby law courts and a restaurant section at the back. My friends and I use the restaurant and we always enjoy it. It's not cheap but the food is good and the service friendly and helpful. It can get busy. I'd certainly recommend it.

It's usually pretty packed in here, especially Fridays and Thursdays, but the atmosphere is lovely whilst not being too loud to talk. This makes it a great works drinks venue. Drinks prices are reasonable for the city, with a great selection of delicious bar food, and the staff are friendly and attentive for the most part. The interior is woody and comfortable, with a nice bar area in the front, and a tabled restaurant-like area in the back. I'd recommend it!

Frustratingly they don't accept children in the evenings but that isn't communicated at all during the table booking process online so didn't find out until we arrived. That being said, they accommodated us anyway which was nice of them. I had the Pan-Asian broth and honestly it was one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten (admittedly not a big spice person!) so would have been good to have that on the menu as a bit of a warning to be honest. Otherwise, staff were attentive and friendly and the other food was good

Lovely wine bar, lots of choice and tasty food. They have plenty of sitting area at the back so you usually can get a table even on busy nights, what is very handy. I like to meet with the girls here because the music is not too loud so we can catch up and in the evening the have platters to share that go very well with wine, and is very close to the station and bus stop.

An area a little less commercial than around the theatre area. Two lovely welcoming Italian ladies. We both had the crispy haddock, mushy peas with a difference ! And chips. £12.50 not a big portion but enough for us. Micro brewery beers. Good prices for London

One of my favourite wine bars in London. Worth booking a table as it can get exceptionally busy. Has a traditional feel to it and a great atmosphere. Also not far from Charing Cross and Temple tube station.

I like Daly's for its old-world atmosphere but with a contemporary twist. The place is great for lunch (generous smartly served sandwiches highly recommended) and proper black coffee is excellent. Service can be hit and miss - if you're pushed for time you might have to hurry them, but usually not a problem. Wine is good too - in the evenings it's a favourite haunt of bankers and lawyers, especially barristers - given the location I suppose that's unsurprising.

Nice, relatively quiet place where you're actually able to speak. They have some interesting and good wines (I just had wine, can't comment on food). Prices are fair compared to other wine bars in the city centre!

Very good food in a small kind of bar. At the back ar 2 "small" halls were people can sit for diner. The steak was perfectly cooked and the burger was tender, as it should be. I can recommend to eat here.

Unfortunately our experience was not one of the best - the waitress did not seem very engaged and not very customer friendly. She misunderstood one of the main course orders even though the order was reiterated a couple of times. This lead to the food being returned and the other two guests carrying on with their food whilst waiting for the correct choice for the guest.
