Wonderful late lunch today at De Beauvoir, food was delicious, I ordered the rump steak, while my friend had the lamb meatballs. Both of us had clean plates by the end ! The staff were lovely also.

Lunch was amazing where could you get linguine with mushrooms and walnuts for £8 my friend and O share the lunch and was so satisfied. The amoohere is relaxing we were able to get the comfy seats near the log fire 🔥🔥

An absolutely phenomenal place for a weekday lunch. £7 (excl. service charge) for what always is a treat of a meal. You’d be easily paying 3 times that if you were served this in central London for dinner. The portions ain’t the biggest but it’s always fresh and delicious. 3 different options on the menu every day between 1200 and 1500 (come early before they run out!). This almost makes me look forward to the working week. Compliments to the chef and the whole team!

Wow, is the only way I can describe the Sunday roast I had here! This pub has been on my doorstep for the last 9 months and this was the first time I’d been. Why?! The roast pork was delicious as was the apple crumble I had to follow (I wasn’t even hungry!) I cannot wait to go back, just reviewing this makes me hungry. Don’t pass by (unless I’m in need of a table!) too good to miss. I’ll be back. Update 18/3/18: Came back for another roast pork and the apple & rhubarb crumble. Unfortunately it was a disappointment this time. Both the roast and the crumble were cold in the middle and piping hot on the outside. I had high hopes as it was so good last time. I’m fortunate enough to live in the area and there are a lot of great pubs around, so will be sampling more now. Service as always was quick and friendly.

Fine but the odd surly bar staff here and there. Excellent bloody Mary though. Couldn't make it a regular pub for me but the occasional if I'm passing. Update: the serving staff still need a little urgency about them. But the wine selection is good and the chicken livers were great.

The best pub in the area! If you are expecting just standard pub food you are just half right. They have traditional meals but cooked and served like modern cuisine with incredible flavours. They have a daily menu with different courses most of the days. The staff is simply great and it is possible to enjoy the beergarden when weather is nice. Highly recommendable!

The De Beauvoir Arms has a friendly relaxed vibe. There is a great selection of beers and wines to choose from and they serve great food too!. The staff always make you feel welcome. They have decent outside seating and plenty of seating inside with an old Victorian fireplace with a log burner and candles on every table.

I think the De Beauvoir has come back better than before. The outdoor space is quite appealing now, not just a place for smokers. And inside has managed social distancing without losing the feel of a lively pub. The food of course is brilliant (great mussels this week) and the staff are much more cheerful than before lockdown.

Casual, warm and comfy ambience. Ideal for a Sunday brunch with the family. The beer is great and the food is okay. The pork ribs were amazing but the rest of the food was average. I went there when it was really busy so not sure if the service is always slow but on a Sunday it was. The staff is efficient but menus would help!

Cosy and classy, low key and buzzing, this public house does it all, depending on when you like to whet your whistle. Great pub as your local watering hole, or place to meet up with friends. Food in house with an emphasis on quality (rib eye steak is surprisingly one of the best) and the staff is always welcoming.

Really nice and cozy place where you can eat, drink and have so much fin with the guys of The Free Association, an incredible group of improv comedy artists. It was my first time and I had a blast even if the language barrier made me not fully comprehend I had no problems enjoying myself.

This is among the best pub I've tried in London. Beer selection is not the best, but you can find all you need, lager, ale, whatever. The food is way above average, I've tried both meat and vegetarian options and they were always very very good. The place is cozy with 2 fireplaces and outside space and staff always smily

Good hearty food in this friendly gastropub. This is a large local pub serving home cooked food with a good selection of beers and wine. We came here for lunch on a Saturday and it was busy but not crowded. Recommended if you're in the Hackney area.

It's ok. Shabby and needs a lick of paint. There are hardly any Vegan options. You can have (delicious) houmous and one piece of burnt bread for £4.50. Didn't really fancy the other couple Vegan dishes as they lacked creativity. Dog friendly and friendly service. This pub is open at 11.30am earliest and 12pm the very latest which is great because a lot of pubs around here open at 4/5pm. However I feel the place is overpriced and I'm not sure why this is, other pubs in the surrounding areas are cheaper. Like The Wenlock, George And Dragon, The Baring, North By North West. On whole, an ok place.

Beautiful pub, good selection of beer, both Tapas and Dinner menu's available. Outside eating area and I even saw a few parents and their kids enjoying themselves. They have improv upstairs on certain nights, the bar atmosphere itself is very friendly. A lot of room to bring a date to a group of friends. Got chorizo cooked in red wine which was delicious and savory, the potatoes with aioli were also cooked well. Stop by if you're in the area for a few beers and tapas in this relaxed atmosphere.

Despite it being a trendy pub with what seems to be great food (if you're a meat eater) No vegan options or even soya milk for hot drinks. Brilliant choice of drinks, a bit pricey for a local pub but friendly staff and a pub with no loud background music. Hooray! Deco is a bit dated and toilets could have a refurb. But a homely, dog friendly, family pub thats worth a visit!
