P. T.Comfortable spacious pub with a fair size garden. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
I can't remember the last time I had a Sunday roast this good!!! Gorgeous crispy roast potatoes, broccoli, cabbage & carrots cooked to perfection (I don't usually eat cooked carrots but I ate the lot). The vegan wellington was deliciously tasty. All four of us cleared our plates. Thank you chef!

The friendly staff are helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you're welcome. This is the second time I had been here. The first was for the quiz night which was fun and friendly. I'm glad to say that it retains its friendly and welcoming reputation.
D. T.A lovely place, great choice of beers and the rest, both alcoholic and not. Lovely staff with a great sense of humour. The Duchy also offers a simple but varied menu for both carnivores and grazers. A really enjoyable visit, I recommend taking a minute to find this little oasis.
