Reviews of Duke of Wellington
Corner pub right by the park. One large room with additional outside seating. Very pleasant and efficient service with prices standard for the area. Several big screens for sport. Typical inner-London local, very nice.
A quite corner pub facing the park. Boasting a darts board, pool table and tv screens well placed to enjoy some traditional games.
A lovely pub right by the park. There are benches outside the pub, and plenty of walls and grass to sit on if no seats are available. It’s reasonably priced, and the staff are lovely. We only popped in for one (famous last words) and stayed for 3 or 4 rounds. A nice relaxing evening in a pleasant environment. Certainly worth a visit if near by.
Really nice pub with a big outside area. Staff are lovely, and the drinks are very reasonably priced. One of the only places you can just pop for a pint without a booking at the moment!
Good prices and super lovely lady bartenders. Enjoyed a pint in the sun outside.
Came across this place after a show at The Glory. Warm, friendly service, good drinks and fantastically Covid-save. Will definitely come back.
Nice local Pub. Friendly helpful staff.
It's a local pub. Basic beer selection, a few commercial lagers, Doom Bar and Guinness. Decent for watching a game (as plenty were today), has a pool table, but otherwise uninspiring interior.
The front of the pub is what's appealing, with a few pub tables and some space to spread out onto the square in front. Quiet being just residential roads and the park opposite, so not too much traffic.
It's fine at a pinch, but I would stick to a place that supports local brewers by offering some craft beers.
Greatest pub in the world, full stop.
Decent local that plays all the sport. The beer selection is not great compared to other pubs in the area but on a sunny day you can take your drinks outside and sit in the square.
One of the last few places locally to get good value drinks. 3 TVs for sports (shows different events at the same time), staff are lovely and theres a pool table.
A truly great Pub, my only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer. Great Guinness, professional staff and interesting locals. Keep up the good work!
Lovely atmosphere outside!!
Bit of a dive bar with limited selection on tap, but in a world of hyped up, pricey pubs it's a nice reprieve to enjoy a cheapish pint in an unpretentious setting
Amazing old school boozer. Dart board, pool table, locals, standard taps, super lovely staff. I will be watching every single England game from here from now on!
Cross between an old boozer and a trendy pub. Good mix of people, reasonable selection of drinks and a good unofficial area for drinking outside when weather is good.
Great local, with a wonderful little square to soak up the sun!
Authentic English boozer (ie not full of craft beer or trying that bit too hard to be cool) with friendly staff, plenty outside space and a pool table. Excellent!
I think it is the first time that I have been in this pub but I could be wrong about that so unfair to say. New year's day 4 people in the pub but was made welcome. Happy New year.
Lovely staff always friendly, beautiful warm feeling pub with friendly locals, always good for a pint at the local. Love this place. 😁😁
Very friendly atmosphere
Awesome pub. Lovely staff. Football on the telly. Darts and a tiny pool table.
Nice relaxied pub, could do with more real ale selection. Very friendly
Lovely pub, proper people, can talk to anyone, well recommend,
Great pub in the middle of hackney .staff and publicans are brillant .great beer darts and football .what more could you ask for .
Great local pub with good vibes and food. One of the greatest spots in Dalston
Good pub with lots of space outside to drink if the weather is nice.
No idea, I maintain the grounds in front of it known as stonebridge common. Which I can say with absolute bias, look nice 5 stars for me ha.
Been my local for 50 years or more great little pub in the heart of Hackney friendly welcome and great atmosphere.
This place is the best, cheap drinks, lovely atmosphere, and brilliant staff, what more could you ask for?
Friendly atmosphere filled with locals and a nice publican. Feels like a proper local pub
Nice little local, friendly staff and good beer totally unpretentious, not a hint of craft ales.
A little bit noisy, but for a Saturday night it was expected... The food was quite good. Have to try the Beef Wellington! 😊
Quiet local pub, on night I visited the staff and service were great. Could do with a refurbishment.
Really well organised for covid. Had a lovely experience.
It was a friendly nice atmosphere and with a good choice of drinks
Had a great time great service very welcoming will come again thank you
Cracking traditional pub east end pub. Nice outdoor area and really friendly staff
Good pub to watch football (especially Arsenal) and have a drink outside.
A rare find in these parts. Carpet, darts, lagers, tunes.
Got to have one of the smallest pool tables I've ever come across had a laugh and some pints
Greatest battle cruiser of all time
Love it
Real English pub. Cheap and cheerful with outside seating and tasty chippy nearby
Friendly with a good area outside to sit in the Sun rumours that this may be the headquarters of the Morgellons
old school boozer showing football - no frills and a local vibe
