Had a little party here to send off a work colleague. Service was perfect - staff was polite and promptly found us a table in a quiet corner, brought the menus and left us to peruse food items at our leisure. Service was excellent! Food was well presented and enjoyed by all

We came in on Christmas Eve for lunch. The service was GREAT. From the warm welcome when we arrived through to the attentiveness of the waiting staff. We'd like to give special thanks to the guy who made our coffee - Daniel I think his name is and boy does he make a good cappuccino! Thanks to all the hardworking floor staff, great service. Great coffee.

What a lovely pub in Wimbledon village! Whenever I am in the area I prefer it to the better known Dog and Fox, 3 mins away. In the summer the front windows are open, creating a terrace and in the winter there's an inviting fire going. Good selection of menu options and ales.
Whether you are a Wimbledon local or just had a walk around the Common, I highly recommend giving it a go.

Had the roast pork which was delicious. Good portions size, pricing typical of the area. Quick service, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Tried this place out for lunch this week. Very impressed! Was lovely to sit by the big open doors in the sun, and the service was great, very friendly. Food was definitely more interesting than your run-of-the-mill dishes.. the cauliflower tempura was superb. Recommend this place if you want tasty, unpretentious food in the village.

Incredible Sunday roast, one of the best I've had in a long long time. The goats cheese mouse starter was also amazing, and the banana bread and butter pudding was light and fluffy but decadent and delicious! A definite must for a visit, and the best roast in Wimbledon hands down

Decent food though mine was a little cold. Good prices for Wimbledon Village especially. Pity they allow dogs alone tapped its way through our whole meal

Service was perfect! The woman who met us was polite and promptly found us a table despite not having a reservation (which I think is preferred), brought the menus and provided water without any fuss.
Our waiter was excellent! Whilst taking our order, he answered all of our questions in regards to ingredients and allergies and was able to accommodate the children's requests for changes from both the regular and kids menus.
The food was enjoyed by all: roasted camembert & chutney, salmon cakes, burgers and roast chicken lunches.
The decoration was a little more up market than a regular pub, super comfy and pretty cool. Lots of great knick knacks, paintings etc
Definitely worth a visit (and hopefully someone would have given the loos some TLC in the meantime).
