Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty dishes. Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the pies mentioned in the menu and our order took extremely long to be prepared (initially they mentioned 40 to 45 minutes that later became 1+ hour) resulting to not have a lot of time to properly enjoy our meal and run late to our appointment afterwards. No discount for the delay, but they did bring us some nuts to apologize. Maybe something bigger would have helped more with our hunger. Overall, if you have the time, this place is a really good choice! :)

I visited this pub one week ago for lunch with a friend. We ordered a fish and chips and I've to admit was very tasty and well presented. The staff were super friendy and nice, and we've been served by a young pleasant lady. A very good experience, definitely going back there to enjoy a couple of lagers.

This is an amazing pub. We visited for my wife's birthday she orded scampi but they had sold out so George hearing it was her birthday went out to another restaurant and brought some back. He also gave us a glass of complimentary champagne. The steak and ale pie was excellent. Best service I have had in years.

Went in for a quick pint and ended up staying for the whole afternoon. Great atmosphere and great selection of beers and spirits, which the manager Juris, was more than happy to introduce us to, letting us taste a bunch before picking one. Definitely recommend

Beautiful and traditional British pub in the heart of the Mayfair. We were looking for a place in Mayfair for a few drinks and found this pub on the way. We were greeted by Juris who made us feel very welcome. In the end we ordered some food, which was lovely. Highly recommended.

I've never reviewed anywhere before, but management, give George (barman) a pay rise! We came in today for some food and drinks, and he couldn't have been more helpful, kind and attentive. He wouldn't let us a lift a finger, and is a true asset to your establishment. We tipped what we could, but this man deserves more!

A very cosy place to sit and have a pub meal especially on a rainy and cold day like it was today. They even serve coffee. The food was good. The service was excellent. This is a historical place dating back to three centuries. A joy to have a place like this just off Bond Street.

Friendly service good choice of beer and food at a reasonable price. We had the fish and chips plus the chicken burger and both were v good. The upstairs area is best for eating and it isn't the biggest place so book if you want to eat at a busy time.

Dont be put off by the crowds of people in the street outside - head upstairs and therell nearly always be a table free. reasonably priced beers just round the corner from the RA and Green Park. Could definitely do with another ladies loo though - there is always a queue! :)

Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night when I have seen it heaving in the past. Maybe the weather. Had fish and chips which were okay. Nice bar staff and great to be able to have a conversation without yelling. Would use this pub again.

No problem with the drinks, although I thought £6.10 was a bit steep for Camden Lager. The food was a bit let down though; ordered hunters chicken and it just was not worth it. Chips were barely cooked, with barely any colour to them, and the gammon was separate to the chicken (everywhere else it’s one meaty, BBQ’y slab). Also came with no coleslaw even though it says it does, had to ask and then wait for it. Wouldn’t have ordered food if the rugby wasn’t on the tv, so I guess at least they have TVs.

Small Taylor and Walker (formerly Punch taverns) pub in Mayfair. Seemed a tad generic on my first visit - a weekday evening. On my second visit (a Saturday afternoon) we ate here, and the veggie fish and chips were probably the best I've had in London so far. Staff were really nice too.
