My partner and I had cocktails and bar snacks for my birthday here earlier this year. The staff were warm and friendly, especially George. The service was excellent and the cake I was presented with was a lovely surprise. As a wheelchair user, I found the facilities easy to navigate. Thank you for making my birthday so special.

My friend and I dined here using a Wowcher (£28) offering a glass of prosecco, a main and starter each. The bill was presented to us at £37. When asked whether this was correct another waiter kindly apologised after explaining that the voucher discount had not been added to the bill. The final bill was £14, this was because we ordered a side at £4, which was fine but 1 prosecco was swapped for a Mocktail, which we were charged for at £10 despite the waiter reassuring us that we could swap it for a non alcoholic drink. I was very annoyed by this because we had paid a total of over £42 in total, costing more that the bill would have been without the discount. The quality of food was mediocre at best- very fatty fish and chips, however the service was not bad. Very polite and attentive staff.

Fantastic bar for cocktails and spirits. The bartender from Italy (Daniel) is a master of his craft and a great character. Homemade bitters and syrups really enhance each cocktail. The addition of smoked cinnamon stick to my old fashioned was a revelation. Try the (not yet on the menu) "2018" for something that is all at once; refreshing, delicious and envigorating.
