Reviews of Goose Fulham
S. P.
Love it in that Pub home from home John and all the staff can not do enough for you and the food is top Class👏🏿😁
M. S.
A lovely pub. The staff are fantastic especially Lucia she really makes you feel welcome. Food is tasty and drinks always on form and reasonably priced.
S. L.
I came to London for a few days mainly to do the Stamford Bridge tour and was staying in a near by Travelodge so turned up here on the Friday to watch Chelseas match against Man City and I cannot fault the place, I very much enjoyed the atmosphere in the day time, the staff were friendly and the food and drinks prices were very reasonable. I came back later on the night time for the DJ and the music and even with a different set of staff still the same great customer service, will definitely visit again when I'm next in London.
E. O.
A great place, very friendly people up for a craic and a sing along with the DJ. White wine was lovely, a great make over recently, ladies is fresh an spotless
Let's hope it stays that way. Outside a bit poshed up a ND d happy staff. A winner 😉

I have just have a lunch here.
Is a tipical English pub.i really enjoy my stay here and my lunch.
I liked so much Breaded Mushrooms Very reccomended..i took steak and chips..the prices are honest and the food is good.
I highly recommend this pub.
I will surely come back again!!
J. W.
Old fashioned knees up pub, lively, noisy and everyone looked like they were having a good time. NYE in May! Beer excellent and cheap.
C. L.
Great matchday boozer. Really at the top of their game. Quick service, very decent ale, not too pricey. A good vibe. Loved it.
A. L.
Stopped in for a quick bite: pie and pint on Wednesdays is quite a good deal. Went with a regular beef pie and Guinness. Added spiral fries for 50 pence but is a small portion and would probably skip it next time. The total: 6.5 GBP and is definitely worthwhile for cheap eats! Hunter chicken pie; decent. Beef pie: an actual slice of a large pie and is good.
P. L.
Fish and chip and beef lasagna are nice. Good food and good place have a break in ther afternoon. Hope you like it too.
M. K.
Only recently started coming to this pub as I work in the area, all the staff are so friendly, no has a dead personality...usually come here during the week but definitely want to come on a Sunday for the Kareoke, would like to say that Lucia is an absolute Joy who works behind the bar..so so friendly and will talk to you, absolutely love the staff who work here the work attitude so so welcoming
A. v. D.
We ate here yesterday, the staff was very patience with us Dutch tourists, and very friendly! The food was good, I really liked the curry.
B. D.
I go there but it could be better, Short of bar staff at 5 pm when people need a drink and food after a long day, should do more for general public. Just an idea to help.
g. C.
Great local traditional British pub!!!!!
Utterly attentive staff.....and keen to help....out...with generous smile 😃 and suggestions!!!!
Thank you Lucia ...and Sue.....!!!for your attention and your ""vibrant "" beers!!!
K. M.
Great pub, period.
A traditional pub look, good selection of beers. Really tasty, quality food. Very local vibe.
What's making it stand out is also the pricing. Goose is much cheaper than other places in the area, and I'd say still better. Perfect value for money.
Conveniently located between West Kensington and Fulham Broadway tube stations, too.
Q. S.
Good quality food for a decent price and a good atmosphere for the champions league final
T. S.
I always stop here for a couple when I'm in Fulham. Good honest boozer that does food and is very good value. Recommended.
R. W.
1st time since since change of ownership. Pub not busy. Prices not bad but value for money ???
m. j.
GREAT TOO SEE AND MEET NEW PEOPLE. A LOVELY GRUB PUB WITH TERRIFIC STAFF.WOULD GO BACK FOR A DRINK ANYDAY😊😊
W. B.
Very nice pub. Good food. Tiki masala, fish and chips and pie with mash. Great deserts.

M. J.
The best english breakfast and other dinner in very good price. Traditional atmosphere, good beer and gin. Near Stamford Bridge ;) The best place!
C. L. L.
I love this place, great place to have drinks and excellent food.
A. W.
Good place to go for a few steady beers before going to the Bridge.👍
A.
Excellent value for money on the food menu plus live football great atmosphere and they have a DJ on the weekends.
D. H.
Great pub! Stopped in for food and drinks. Their prices are really great and the food and drinks we ordered were outstanding. Their staff was super friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be coming back.
C. B.
Nice quiet little pub food was good not bad price wise
W.
Local on Chels days, watch for the price hikes then but no drama
J. R.
Great pub a lot like a whetherspoons prices were great for a London pub outside area could do with abit of a tidy up
R. L.
Good friendly atmosphere on a Chelsea match day.
H. H.
Nice local pub. Cheap prices and weatherspoons style food.
They have daily offers so burgers one day, fish and chips another and also a lunch club which is good value.
The garden is nice enough but isn't the most exciting pub garden.
There are lots of TV screens there so good if you want to watch sport but hard to avoid if you don't.
It gets very busy on Chelsea match days and no away supporters are allowed in.
G. S.
Becoming a bit of regular as their daily lunch deal; main and drink (alcoholic or soft) starting at £6 is such great value. Think along the lines of Wetherspoons. Lunch offer changes daily; pie & a pint, burger & drink, the usual pub classics. Good quality, served quickly.
Popular with the locals, wood panels, TV and a lot of comfortable seating. Bar staff are friendly, and the wait at lunch is minimal.
Good selection of beers and lagers. A bit too chain-like to be considered a "proper pub" but as close as you get these days. What they do, they do well, so a minor gripe.
P. R.
What a great pub, it was recommended by the hotel staff. We decided to have dinner. My partner had steak smothered in peppercorn sauce, my daughter had gammon and I had veggie bake. It was so good. The staff were great and looked after us so well. The beer was excellent, My favourite London pride. Looking forward to visiting the goose again very soon.
A. M.
Bar service was fine. Used this pub many times over the years but has gone downhill. The place looks tired the central TV is small with lots of interference hard to watch. Demanded by staff member to tip drinks from glass into plastic. I understand the law but demanding whilst he stood over us is not the way forward.I plastic by the way did not look the cleanest with lots of scratches. And no markings to show it was s pint.Dont think I will be returning.
A. A.
Good food, lovely steak and chips. Had to wait a bit but worth it. The barman was very good, chirpy, friendly and professional. I was seriously impressed, because to be honest I expected a sort of normal Weatherspoon style experience and it was way better then expected. Toilets were spotless too. Always a good sign. We visited with elderly family friends with very strong Scottish accents that most Londoners don't understand and the barman was attentive, gracious and patient. Thank you.
I. K.
Great pub, nice atmosphere, outdoor seating available.
P. N.
Reg(the governor),his wife Lorraine and their daughter as well as all the other bar staff make this a very friendly and pleasant pub to have a meal or a drink in(both very reasonably priced by the way.). The price in no way reflects on the quality of the food and drink both are very much above average. If you're visiting London or indeed live anywhere near this pub is well worth a visit. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Can't recommend it highly enough. Am made to feel welcome and at ease every visit I've made.
S. B.
It's really nice, perfect for a beer and a tasty meat pie... It's not loud at all so you can easily accompany your friends and colleagues for a chat...
Nice wooden classical place of what you expect a British pub to be...
G. R. S.
Nice pub, lots of options on the food menu, from cheap to more expansive and many beers available.
Also big with lots of seats and many screen to watch sport from either Sky and BT.
I would have given 5 Stars, but for some reason the day I've been there kitchen was closed after 5 pm and we had to go somewhere else to have food and then go back to the pub to watch the rest of the football match.
J. B.
The pub has definitely improved over the last 12 months with an ok choice of beers on tap and bottle. There has been a marked improvement in the food . Dinners are hot and fresh especially during 2019. If you are in Fulham on a budget it's worth a visit.
J. R.
We are from Florida and we just did a tour of Europe. Out of all the places we ate we liked The Goose Fulham best. Even out of all the places we ate in Paris, and Scotland, ect. The Goose Fulham was our favorite. We even went back to London to eat at there one more time before we returned to the United States. Clinton and the rest of the crew were incredible. We will definitely be back. What great atmosphere, great food and drinks, and really nice people. We wish we had a place like this in the States. Thank you all for making us feel welcome.
S. L.
I visit this pub often we sit in the garden and play music, it's a very friendly pub, so if you come into the garden just say hi.
Food I'd definitely give a miss but that depends which chef you get or if your not fussy about food. £10.99 for a bottle of wine or £4.05 for a stella. Bring it on.
K. C.
Very nice and cosy atmosphere. We had chicken wings in Korean BBQ sauce and they were finger-licking! And staff was lovely! Really, big kisses to Nadia and Sue. They both were so lovely!
L. H.
Had my concerns about this place, first night, quite slow service, next night no cook, but completely rebounded with exceptional service the next night. Apparently one of their cooks is looking for a new job. Excellent. Shows good business sense, quite happy, and definitely recommend. Absolutely kid friendly.
P. B.
Decent pub, cheap as well.
C. B.
Given wetherspoons a run for their money. Beer good (cos my partner said so I don't drink beer). Food was delicious and fantastic value for money. Back tomorrow night, staying in Fulham for a few nights.
J. O.
This was our first meal upon arriving to London for the first time ever and I have to say I really enjoyed it, the food is fresh and tasty, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is lovely. I’ll definitely return on my next London trip.
D. J.
A pub with an Aussies "icy cold" beer and full English breakfasts available all day
B. O.
Visited The Goose for first time today, it won’t be the last.
Had Meat and Ale pie for lunch which was excellent, the meat being so tender.
One complaint however, the gravy served with the dish is very “thin” and needs to be of a far thicker consistency.
G. S.
This place is a mix of old school charm usually associated with 'your local' and best value food a la Wetherspoons. The staff here are always great and the guvnor really accommodating. Friday and Saturday nights can be either rowdy or delightful depending on the behaviour of the clientele, though this place is never without character.
L. R.
Great place to eat. Nice service, the waiter was really helpful. The prices are really good. I recommend the curly fries over the regular ones. Also, the fish and chips were really good too.
A. F.
A great local pub.staff very good the manager and his wife make you most welcome the beer is always excellent. Good value for money . I’ve been using the pub for years but in the last 10 months it has come on in leaps and bounds .
S. H.
During our recent one week stay in West Kensington, we ate dinner two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and vibrancy. On Jan. 1st, we arrived just before a Chelsea match vs Tottingham Spurs. Very lively and we felt the enthusiasm that the locals have for their team.
Dinner was excellent, and would you believe I ordered a salad (Chicken Kabob) which was super. My son-in-law had become very comfortable with the staff and how one goes to the bar to order food and drink.
I'm very glad I went and experienced a local pub.
O. T.
I had a traditional breakfast here for £2.75 (b4 12pm) it was great! Beer (Amstel) £3.75. For around Fulham best value and a great building. Beer garden and pool table. Not the happiest of places (on a Tuesday morning at least but where is?) but an unassuming, unpretentious pub.
A. Y.
Granted it was the Champions League final, but food took over an hour to arrive and was stone cold when it did.
The bar staff survived the unexpected crowd and the people they brought in on their day off deserve a big round of applause!
D. D.
Stopped at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. Checked out the pub on Tripadvisor and it sounded alright so decided to give it a try. Good atmosphere, good beer and good food at reasonable prices. Down here again and will be back. Try it I don't think you will be disappointed.
C. P.
Reasonably priced beer and food. I usually only visit here after the football has finished. My only issue is that why do they only serve at one part of the bar at busy periods when the whole bar should be open. This has occasionally forced me to leave and go elsewhere.
J. x.
A really quite biggish pub. I met some friends there though i had been invited to a birthday function held there a year before. Very nice no hassle regular kind of pleasant place. It was a nice meet.
C. K.
Those in search of a gastropub or a little style and pizzaz should look elsewhere. The Goose does have a small beer garden, but is otherwise a bit of a dive. Cheap pints and friendly Management earns it 3 stars.
Y. S.
OK pub & a great place if you're a Chelsea footie fan as there's live games on huge screens all around the pub. Nice beer garden, a good range of beers and good food too.
K. C. A.
The Goose Fulham was our first British Pub experience and it did not disappoint. Had a couple of great pints and the meal was quite good.
S. O.
Best English breakfast that I ever had in London. And also it has a very good price performance ratio! So, 5 stars for that Pub
C. M.
Fantastic pub - great atmosfaire... good food😁😁
m. t.
This is a 5 star pub at a 3 star price. Always welcoming, great staff, great selection and prices that keep you at that end of the road. Will be back (again).
E. S.
Nice pub with good food and drink prices. Met some nice people there when I have stopped there either for a meal or before or after a Chelsea match. Location is close to the Ibis where we like to stay on visits to London from Vancouver. Only drawback was the Liverpool supporters sign behind the bar, LOL.
M. H.
The Goose is arguably the best pub in London and is perfect for any occasion. The drinks are cheaper, the food is even cheaper. If you but a meal/drink combo it's even cheaper still! Friendly punters, helpful staff - what more could you ask for?
N. K.
We dropped in after visiting the Brompton Cemetery. The food was good; they had a good selection of gluten free items. Service was a wee bit slow, but we enjoyed our lunch.
a. o.
Great night out with some friends karaoke was on a Saturday night
C. N.
Nice pub, great size including outside. Friendly staff, reasonable priced & Covid safe!
P. B.
It's a friendly and nice place not enough staff on some days
m.
Pretty average pub with pretty average food nothing was bad but not overly exciting either, could defenitly do with some more exciting deserts on the menu.
L. M.
Nice Pub, great beer and food, amazing atmosphere
S.
The usual Pub. But the onion ring tower was awesome...
C. N.
Good food. Decent prices. We went at a slow time so food was quick. Atmosphere was good. Staff was efficient. Kids menu was reasonable.
V. D.
One of the few pubs left in Fulham that has not been gentrified. Decent atmosphere and good selection of beers.
B. B.
50 chicken wings for 10 pounds is a good deal. The chili sauce is incredibly hot, only for the brave! Cookie pizza is not a feat to attempt on your own, a great dessert to share.
P. M.
Stayed near here a couple of times
this fall great location near the Ibis Hotel Earls Court.
Good atmosphere and reasonable price meals. What could One with a dry throat ask for?
d. s.
One of the best landlords on the business. Respectful, amusing and cares about his customers. Place is always clean. Maybe not everyone's taste but a real person. Respect.
M. W.
Reasonable prices(probably the cheapest in this part of London), good pub food menu, good bar staff who serve quickly and efficiently. Fills up on Chelsea match days but definitely worth the 6/7 minute walk from Fulham Broadway but only 2/3 minutes from West Brompton tube station. 10 mins walk from Barons Court (Piccadilly Line direct from St Pancras )
Plenty of live sport on the tv's around the pub and a good outside section for smokers or in good weather.
d. v.
Very inexpensive place. It's main clientele is older people,it's not a fancy place but it's good value for money. Friday and Saturday nights it gets busy and they have live music.
J. F.
Known to us locals as The Fulham Tap. Good food/beer/staff Great local pub. Added bonus it has a garden.
J. N.
I like the goose I've never had a dodgy pint and it's got sky television so I can watch the football I want. Very good.
B. E.
Great bar, nice and comfortable nwith clean restrooms. Friendly barstaff and ointsnof draft beer under £4
N. C.
Having recently arrived to the year 2017 The Goose has purchased Sky Sports. Pints are cheaper than water and cocktails such as Vodka and Cranberry Juice are available. If Anthony Joshua is not fighting, fear not you may be able to catch the occasional scuffle. But don't watch too closely or you run the risk of ending up in a witness box. The best of British establishments The Goose is a home from home to many. Join us for a pint at your own peril.
i. c.
Get me there I miss it so much there ain't a place in the world like the goose everyone should try it the banter is like no other and the staff Nadal Jay Joshua and young James I would tell you go to the Goose please you won't regret it love and miss you all xx ❤️
L. P.
Great pub to see a football game and drink some beers with reasonable price. Food is basic but very good and cheap as well.
S. O.
Decent prices.. Better pubs in the area but you will pay more for a drink. Dark inside and old fashioned.
J.
For a pub in london the prices are hard to beat. Food and drink is cheap and good.Handy for anyone going to Stamford bridge for chelsea games (15 min walk).
D.
Nice food, cheap drinks
T. C.
Big spacious pub really competitive prices for food and drinks.Nice staff friendly clientele lovely atmospheric TV screens for sports etc
D. F.
Good garden area, cheap beer (less than 8 quid for 2 pints), plenty of seating space
J. B.
What you want from a pub. Cheep rounds, lovely staff, we had an issue, but they handled it, made us feel welcome. Loved it.
b. s.
Nice pub at lunchtimes and afternoons, never been in at night. Well run and nice staff. Not dear either. Guinness £3.40.
C. C.
Nice big pub, great beer and food, daily deals are for a pint and food are spot on Value
L. H.
Stayed at the ibis round the corner. So this place is really handy if you're staying there. Very accommodating place with friendly staff.
L.
Great value for money for food menus which can lead to long wait times when eating. We were quoted one hour and a half wait time from ordering on last visit
J. J.
Accommodated us even though they were struggling for space, had a lovely meal in the garden. Thanks!
d. c.
Very good Chelsea pub fans only on match days reasonable prices both drink and food

Prices good for a London pub but on Chelsea home games the service at the bar has gone downhill since a new owner has come in.
M. F.
Great pub
