We bookes a table to watcthe semifinal of the euros as we had our 2 grandchildren we wanted a safe and secure environment we weren't disappointed the staff were very polite and friendly and the table service was excellent we ordered some chicken sharing platters and they were enormous but also very tasty our youngest grandson wanted gammon which again was a good sized portion the total cost of our food and drinks which included two bottles of wine was £99 which we thought was great value would I go here again next time I'm in the area,definitely

Traditional English pub as it supposed to be! Good variety of drinks, especially ales. Food is pretty average which is expectable for a pub. Very good location, with tables outside which quite rare for London based pubs. Enjoy it the most on Sundays when it is not too busy

Great customer service! The kitchen was closed and the chef was still happy to help. If you love Sauvignon blanc from New Zealand you need to try theirs. Also the regular fries was super crispy! Felt super welcoming and will definitely come again :)

Amazing corner nearby Victoria Station! Joan is the best chef around, the food was amazing and very fast to get to the table, and the chef even came out of the kitchen to check on us! The landlady/manageress was polite and friendly, as was the other member of staff. I would have given 5 stars under normal (non covid restrictions) but the £10+ nachos that I ordered for lunch were pretty underwhelming and in my opinion, bland, cold and overpriced. I've been in this pub few times now, I just love it! Starting from the team, I love how they are always available to help you and they always smile to everyone coming in! This makes the difference. The food is always high quality, really tasty! Every time I've been there, they served our food really quick and it was absolutely amazing! I love beer, so I need to say as well that the beer is always top quality as well! I wanna say a big well done to the manager Muna, she is the best! She is incredible at her job and is always nice to have a quick chat with her. I've been there few days ago and I noticed the changes you've made in the pub, looks even better than before, a real English pub! Definitely coming back again!

I've been coming to this place on and off ever since I was legal to drink. This started out as a post exam drink and as years have passed whenever I am in I the area I make an effort to come here. We have been impressed by the beautiful look of this pub so we decided to stop by! It is not the typical british pub but a modern reinterpretation of it. The food was great too! We recommend the egg royale which looked and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back!

We popped in here on an off chance. It was quite and perfect for a catch up with friends. The staff were friendly and approachable. There is a facility where you download an app and you can charge your phone. We were about to order food when a coach full on french travellers arrived. They went down stairs to a room then we got told it was over an hours wait for food. It would have been notified that the coach was arriving because when we entered whilst ordering drinks we asked for a menu.

Nicely tucked away from the onslaught of tourists on victoria Street but still promisingly close to the buzzing food hub of strutton ground market. They serve an ample selection of modern lagers and boast a solid outside seating area, where you can watch many patrons fall for the uninspiring, poor service at the Albert despite its aesthetically pleasing exterior. Nice boozer with good food lifted by the bar manager who goes above and beyond to make up for any problems you might have there. I had one disappointing meal there (after years of going on and off) and he remembered 3 weeks later and offered me a free meal and pint. I'm by no means a regular so I was really impressed.

Don't bother booking a table for an event as there seems to always be an excuse as to why it didn't happen. This happened twice for us. Also be careful with your bags in this place as there have been a number of thefts reported.
