Great burgers and a nice range of beers - had this little festive number the other day and it was really a delight. Had to be convinced by brussel sprouts in a burger but let me tell you, it really does work! So yeah, decent grub and football on the TVs, but what really sets this place apart from your typical pub to watch sport is the level of service - my glass was never empty thanks to the angel waitress Holly. Also seem very on it with the Covid regulations which makes you feel very safe. Will be back as soon as London is returned to Tier 2!

Wanted to watch the rugby here for my birthday. They made sure to accommodate my request even though euro’s were on. Contacted me before to check the booking was still on and to check what else we needed. Food was best pub food I’ve had. Beer was a little pricey but that wasn’t the end of the world thanks to the great service.

Great Bar. We go in here most weekends after our own rugby matches and they are very accommodating. Its a great bar with good beers on tap. Also shows all the live sport and has a good atmosphere for the 6 nations!

A very nice and cozy pub. Firstly the décor was lush. That deep dark wood, with antique style lighting that helps to take you away from the world outside. That would have been enough, but the service was also fantastic. Friendly staff who were happy to partake in a bit of banter. The food was also delicious. Large portions and just plain yummy.

I've been here a few times for sports events and quite a few times just for drinks. The atmosphere is cool, TV visibility during matches is good and they have a dart board and foosball table. There's a nice selection of beers including the Camden Town Brewery range. I've yet to try the food but it looks appealing. It's a short walk from Clapham Junction station and in the vicinity of several other decent bars so it's a good place both as your sole destination for the evening or as one stop of many.

This pub is my home away from home. Pretty much has everything you want. The staff are awesome, they show most sport and lots of food options. It's also just far enough from the other pubs that you don't have to wait 10 minutes for a pint on a busy night

A really nice and cute pub with great food. I’ve been there for drinks (and baked Camembert - yum!) with a couple of friends and also for large functions. They have a semi private area at the back for functions which is great so you don’t feel like you’re shoved in a back room but still have some privacy. Food and drinks are reasonably priced for the area. Feels more upmarket than most of the pubs in Clapham

Open again after COVID 19 lockdown. We were very happy to be back. Highly recommended to visit for food and drinks, and stuff is super polite and making sure to follow the guidelines! We felt very safe with distancing while still having great chat with Simon. Burgers and sides are die for yum. Definitely recommended to anybody and we will be back soon.

Came here for a meal on a Wednesday night. The menu is broad, with plenty of choices for carnivores, vegans and everything in between. The triple cooked chips were good, as were the tobacco onions and the char grilled broccoli and the mac and cheese. My cheese burger was pretty average in comparison but it was tasty and the service was friendly. Where it really loses marks for me was with the ladies loos. You go in and it looks promising: nice clean sinks and plenty of cubicles. Unfortunately only one was usable. The others had broken seats or contained unflushed waste or both. Really grim and has put me off going back. It's a shame, but staff must be aware they need cleaning and repairs and have done neither, at least not within a reasonable timescale. It's also not great to walk out of the ladies and be hit by the smell from the gents loos. Food wise they're trying to deliver good things, but downstairs in the toilets it's all very much like the pubs of yesteryear and not at all pleasant. Do go and try the food, but avoid the toilets!

Having attended The Hawkins Forge a fair few times in the past year or so I must say it is one of the best pubs around. The staff are friendly and welcoming, they have an immense selection of booze including some rather delicious cocktails, various entertainment both live and sport related (I've become quite the pro at table football in recent weeks). Darts and Pool also available but my skills with that are purely alcohol dependent. Anyway moving on, I've never had the food but various peers have told me it is delightful, fresh and not a long wait. Back onto sports..... The atmosphere for any fixture is cracking! Its not too busy but its the right sort of busy if that makes sense? Loads of screens, even a cheeky projector for the big games and you can book a table to be near one of them. I think the fact its not next door to Clapham Junction station means you don't get too much hoi paloi but its still a good crowd. Only a short walk from the station I should also add The Forge (as I call it now as I'm basically a regular) provides exactly what you want from a pub, reasonably priced alcohol, top quality service and superb facilities/entertainment. Also, a very nice beer garden, time it right and you catch the sun which is quite the MVP. Even if you don't its a still top quality Special thanks go to Craig, Michaela, Simon the gent and last but not least, Emily. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone. I even took my parents there the other week and they said 'yeah, I can see why you come here so often' Cheers!

Can't say that this the best pub in the area - very limited selection of hand-pulled ale, no soap in the dispensers in the toilet on the day of visit, that type of issue. That being said, you will find worse. You will get served quickly and politely - depending on your requirements, it may do the job, but it has seen better days.

This is a really nice pub that is tucked away from the main high street. The food is of a high standard and they have plenty of seating. Beer garden out the back and a pool table and dart board to keep you entertained on a night out.

This is generally a really decent boozer, with a pretty cool and unpretentious crowd and a decent choice of beer - both on tap and bottled. The place is modern and clean and has a pool table and table tennis, although these tend to be out of commission when live sport is on. My problem with the Forge - just as it was in its previous guise as The Duck - is the layout. There seem to be pillars everywhere, which can intrude when watching live sport, whilst the general angular nature of the place just doesn't make the experience as good as it should.

a Nice friendly pub with great monday comedy but the pricing seems a bit all over... 85p for a pint of diet coke which was a welcome from the usual £3 other pubs serve in tiny classes but a glass of house red was £8 so i wouldn't really want to stay here for a whole the evening which is a shame

We reserved the side-room for a birthday celebration, and the staff were most helpful and welcoming. One drawback is that the football was on at a quite unbelievable volume making conversation tricky, which was a disappointment. But a good selection of ales and average pub fare made up for it.

Lovely spot on the centre of Clapham junction. They had really nice food on the menu including Dutch fries which ere a really fancy and tasty garlic cheese chip! They also have live music on at the weekend and it's generally 23s and over in there though I'm not sure is that as a rule or was it just coincidence! Would highly recommend this spot for groups and for a date night too!

Ok for sports TV but this pub could do without it if craft beer is the way they want to go (and attract more customers). Please please MORE TABLES!!!! People standing at the bar nowhere to sit. Don't let your customers go away because of not enough chairs & tables.

It's a matter of taste, I suppose, but the beer is overpriced and but for the trendiness factor it hadn't got much going for it. If there were not so much faux industrial persiflage it would not pass muster as a boozer. It's a young person's meet up venue and good luck with that

I love 'The Duck' Fantastic for Sport, very cheap and excellent Pizzas and if you get a 'Slice' card for £2 it's 20% off everything. Staff are very friendly and it has everything you want for an afternoon session in front of the many massive TV's in there. We always start the evening in here!
