Just love the building...it will be my home, bar already installed, what more could you ask for? An old warehouse building, right by Regent's canal, amazing. Only letdown (just a little bit) floppy plastic pint mugs inside. The peeps behind the bar a lovely and keen to help. Great background music. It is very difficult to find what you don't like about this pub. Do pay a post lockdown visit.

My wife, younger daughter and I came here on Sunday afternoon, Sept 15, 2019 for drinks. Many chose to sit on the terrace as the roomy interior was quite warm. We chose that and later we moved to a table with a view and that made a difference. Apart from the use of free toilets, we rested for a while enjoying our drinks at reasonable prices!

Very beautiful place. A pub over the Camden street food Square close the bay. It's at the end of the High street on the right out the underground station. For every hour of the day. Advise You the Atlantic Pale Ale beer. Good music too.

Headline: good for drinks. Food is a bit average. I tried their Eat Out to Help Out menu which consisted of the Wagyu Burger and the Soft Shell Crab Burger. I found the wagyu burger to be a decent take on the classic burger with a good combination of flavours and textures and a generous serving of fries. The Crabacado Burger on the other hand was abysmal. While in theory this should have worked, considering it was on a pretty good pretzel bun, in reality it was wayyyyyy to salty. I suspect the chef dropped the salt container into the batter. I also found there to be too much of a mishmash of flavours and the texture wasn't there - too gooey from the avocado and red pepper tartare. Too complicated for a burger that should have been more simple and focused on the soft shell crab. They also ran out of a couple of beers that I liked. On the plus side, great views of Camden Lock. Camden has always been one of my favourite sports in London. A bit sad now seeing it post lockdown. I visited Sunday and at 5pm the majority of the shops started to close down and people living because they are closing at 8pm. Most of the places were open but not all.

Lockside Camden is a large, popular pub in the heart of Camden Town, directly adjacent to the canal and overlooking parts of the extremely busy Camden Market. The décor inside is fairly modern, bar style, and suitable for larger groups, too - clean and inviting. On top of that they have a nice terrace to the front to relax and observe the hoi polloi swarming down there around the food stalls. The beer range includes national and international lagers and pale ales. This is a pub mostly for the younger urban crowd, not so much the middle-aged real ale lover such as myself. That said, I really enjoyed sitting on the terrace (for 2 hours, eventually), where it is surprisingly quiet considering all the hustle and bustle in the area. Note that the beers to drink on the terrace are served in plastic cups. Good quality pub food is also available, though your food needs might even be better satisfied by stalls below. Prices are slightly elevated, but normal for this touristy place.. Toilets are kept in excellent shape, the gents' loo has its own toilet attendant. Highly recommended in this area.

When: Sunday at 4pm Party Size: 2 Only had beers, no food. Service: 4/10 The bartender did not acknowledge me meanwhile made eye contact multiple times. His buddies came in and were hugging and loud and no one was being served. Ambiance: 6/10 In the middle of the food market so we stopped here for a drink and to relax. The outdoor area was packed so we sat inside. A little dark but had sunlight to brighten it. Overall: 5/10 Wouldn't come back.

Busy fun venue right above the Camden KERB market. Great choice of beers and other drinks and some interesting decor with old beer cans and wooden furniture. It can get rammed if the sun is shining but does offer a great people watching vantage point.

Lively. Very crowded. No social distancing. Stinks but nevertheless this really is a fabulous place. Whether you like tranquil walks, great food/snacks from all over the world or simply the buzz of London, you'll not go wrong here. There is plenty of weed in use to give you a free buzz if you so desire. Not my thing but hey, this is London; live & let live (or die) ‼️

Not a good choice for a date venue- I was glad I could reserve a table for 2 for free here for just drinks, as social distancing makes it hard to arrange a weekend date in Camden these days. Inside it was very busy and the music was very loud at 6pm so it was difficult to have a conversation unless you are the kind of shouty extrovert who probably has a girlfriend already. Hard seats not particularly comfortable for a long stay either. Would be better if I could have specified outside seats in my reservation.

Pretty nice pub. Large range of beers and ciders available. Barmen and Barwomen very sympathetic and available to help you choose your adequate beverage. The outdoor terrace is lovely, overlooking the Lock, though quickly full by sunny weather!

Just had our Christmas Party there and from start to finish the team have been amazing! Great communication before and during the booking. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was served quickly, the area tidy and kept the party flowing. Really good food, good quantities and regularly topped up. All with people barely noticing. If you organise events you'll appreciate how much this all means in keeping your stress levels down. Thanks again to the team - best Christmas Party so far for us.

Great find in Camden, with fantastic views and cool vibe. Had the bottomless brunch which is definitely as good as others I've been to. We did have to book in advance, but that's to be expected for anywhere offering such a good deal. Food and service both top notch. Can't wait to go back in the summer and chill outside in the sun - perfect spot for it!

My office has had their Christmas party here for two years in a row. We have all had a good time. The food they serve is really tasty and good quality. I cannot talk about the price because it was paid by the company. The vegetarian options although not many were quite flavourful. The music was good. There was a group of all female DJs and they did a really good selection. The staff takes into consideration the fact that people want to dance and they move the tables from one of the sides of the place.

Was a private party going on whilst I visited, so the majority of the outside terrace was sectioned off, which was a shame as it was a really hot day. Happy hour is marvelous. Staff are funny and knowledgeable in their drinks and our cocktails tasted lovely.

Bar staff were a mixed bag - some really attentive and helpful, others seemed determined to ignore paying customers whilst serving drinks to their friends (I strongly suspect they were abusing my company's celebration tab, to get their friends free drinks). Great night out. It was an event. Haven't been there on a normal random day or evening. But they sure love to party there! Drinks pricy but the waiter gave my friend honey and lemon for free as she had and sore throat.. and she was demanding to him... now that's dedicated and quality service.

I've lived in London for many years now and always come back to this spot. It has the best view from the terrace overlooking regents canal. The staff are always welcoming and the drinks and food here are fantastic and not overpriced either. I would 100% recommend this place for Lunch or just some after work drinks.

Had a super Saturday at Lockside. Camden market was very busy but staff at lockside served me quickly. The DJ they had for the afternoon played some great tunes while me and my friends had our meal. None of the food was too spicy and we had a wide choice. Good selection of craft beers and cocktails too!

A good drinking option in Camden if you want to be near the canal. There is a long terrace overlooking the market below, as well as plenty of seating inside too. Food better than average for this kind of bar. Never had a problem with the staff. They do have some crazy nights here though, for example - drag burlesque springs to mind.

There was broccoli in the nachos. Really?? And I don't know who was the genious that came up with the idea of deep fried pickles but it is so unnecessary to fry them. Just weird having a hot gherkin cheff. And it does nothing to the taste. I will be back but after dinner..

This is a real gem in Camden, tucked away from the busy main road and over looking the canal you find Lockside. With friendly staff, a wide range of drinks and some grest food - I loved my Buddha Bowl! When I went there a couple of weeks ago there was another treat going on that night - KARAOKE! Such a friendly atmosphere and a wide selection of songs. I needed a couple of drinks to pluck up the courage to sing but I loved it up there. The crowd were great and so was the host Adam - he is a pocket rocket! I will definately to going back to Lockside and to Karaoke.

Decent bar with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the food stalls, and because you're one level up it feels less congested and claustrophobic compared to the stalls and streets below. There are about 8 pincnic tables & benches outside with 8 other smaller tables on the terrace. They make a nice (and strong) frozen strawberry margarita!

Nothing shouts camden more than the uber cool lockside lounge. Situated on the first floor on the edge of the canal, I have been here in both the winter where the near by bridge made a fairytale-like atmosphere with the snow. I have also been here in the warm summer where we spent the night drinking cocktails and listening to the resident DJ whip the crowd into a storm. Brilliant
