Went here twice over the weekend. This is a calm gem in the middle of a pretty frantic location. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and great service. The bar staff on both occasions were friendly and polite. We had a good chat about the benefits of mermaid gin 😂(isle of wight in origin and great to see it in London) and the beer was good too (no mucky pipes here).

We went in around half past 4 to quarter to five on saturday. The bar was busy but we found a table for 4. The place was well done out and had a good atmosphere. The down side was the amount of bar staff , only 1 for over 10 minutes till someone else came to help . All the other staff were busy serving food.

Reasonably priced - as a non-Londoner assuming that all London pricing was extortionate. Rather busy on a Saturday, especially with the football on, but we'd found a table upstairs. Oddly the table was positioned right. Outside of the workers staff room and so we were bothered every 20minutes with members trying to access or leave.

We popped in for a drink one night, most of the places around the area were already closed and we stumbled upon Long Acre- nice decor and quiet space, nice selection of gins and other drinks, price wise similar to other places in Leicester.

I came here 2 days ago with my friend for some food, our waitress (Nesa) took care of us very well! She would make sure we always had something to drink and would check up on us to make sure the food was okay. The food was amazing! We ordered smothered chicken and the fish and chips and it was delicious! The staff in general was great! I would definitely recommend going!!

So my sister and I are visiting London getting ready to go see a performance in the theater district when we come across The Long Acre. The charm of the decoration inside reminded us of old English restaurants and the number of people sitting at the tables told us it must be a very good place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised that we could be seated quickly and our food was wonderful I ordered the fish and chips and soda my sister. It was absolutely perfect and for dessert we got the bread pudding with custard. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody in the area and would even drive out of my way if I was within 50 miles to eat here. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Relatively small place with a dance floor downstairs. Intimate and good vibe, friendly atmosphere. Fun detail is that the ceiling is at 2m or so in the dance area making it possible to essentially dance upside-down (dance-floor might be uncomfortable for particularly tall people though).

Very please with my visit at The Long Acre. Visited during the day, and everything was perfect. The food was very delicious, drinks were made perfectly and everything arrived on time. Staff were nice and professionally. Was greeted at the front door very politely by security and a manager, who directed us to our table. Overall the place was perfect. Will be going back again.

The Long Acre Bar is a mix between a pub and posh restaurant. If you're after the "pub scene ambiance" then they lack this a little. Not a bad place to eat if you're in the area. Be careful what you order though. Decent size meals but they are expensive for what they are. I had a delightful sandwich and my partner got a chicken burger (although he was less than impressed with his meal because he could have sworn they just ran across the road to Mcdonalds to buy it). Staff were polite. Just a couple small things like not brining cutlery or letting us know where to get it was a let down. They have a good range of beers on tap.

Very good pie, but what gives the 5th star was the gravy. I've had gravy on expensive restaurants that weren't half as good. The best part? There was plenty of it

Food was ok, but the bar service was bad. No organisation. One guy seemed to be doing everything. The young female didn't even know how to do a half of lager shandy! I watched as someone asked for a special cocktail, the girl said that she couldn't do it then asked someone else to do it and by the time the complicated drink was produced the guy who asked for the drink head left and they didn't even know what he looked like!! Chaos!

Venue it's big and spacious, good snacks and variety of drinks. The staff however was a bit off that day, there was a girl that seemed to be sick and working. She brought me the food to the wrong table and left without saying anything. I was having a conversation with a friend away from our table(one in the back room) and when I asked about my order, she confirmed if this was all and then turn around and left. I took a tray myself and brought the food to my table...

Great place for after work drinks, or mid-day meetings. The staff are always really friendly and the drinks are great. Definitely recommend the Aperol Spritz or the Pimms. They look and taste amazing. They have seating outside as well, so it's the perfect place to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a drink whilst people watching. Great place and would always recommend.

Delightfully surprised but The Long Acre! We popped in for a beer and a snack after doing some shopping and ordered chicken wings and falafel bites. Both were very good, with lots of flavor and perfect smack portions. Beer selection and service was also solid.

I went to The Verve with a large group on a Sunday evening. It wasn't crowded, and we took most of the back room. Ordering drinks took a while, but I must say the bartender made the best mojito I've ever had. And it was only about £3.50, I assume due to their happy hour promo. This is a great deal, considering its central location near Covent Garden. The bar had a good atmosphere - not too dark & upbeat music that wasn't too loud to enjoy company. Overall, The Verve was a nice place to socialize, & I will visit again.

Went with girlfriend, her best friend and her boyfriend, very average setting, security is quite thirsty, give the poor blokes some water.. :') DJ is average, played 1 good song for every 5 bad songs, they don't open the club unless it's busy... I wouldn't call 20 people busy lol... Took them hours to open the club, security and bar staff didn't know when it was opening. Toilets are good but the toilet attendant purposely switches off the Dyson hand driers by smashing the fuse box so people use his tissues and give him poxy change. Don't let your girls go to the bar alone, the men who attend this establishment are sexually depraved, the mere sight of a woman will send them into a frenzy. Bar staff are quite slow and make some average watery cocktails, could be more of a selection, the place was better when it was called 'scarlets'. The only redemption was the espresso martini which is decent but make sure to register online and get the wristband at the bar for a discount on cocktails cos 9.50 for a shot of kahlua, a splash of arabica, cold water and vodka tastes better when it's 5-6 quid somehow...

She was incredible and rectified a dispute I had with a member of staff who was not on shift over a mix up with drinks and shouldnt have got involved. I went there to celebrate my birthday with my colleagues from work. It is located in central London close to Leicester Square. They offer free entry before 11pm. The club has a good size and it is distributed in different areas with different types of music. They offer the possibility to prepare private venues such as hen parties or birthday packages. Personally, when I went there the club area was too crowded except from that it is a good place to meet with friends in central london.

Worst full english breakfast ever.. Considering I'm hungover and should just want to put any sort of food into my face (I did eat half of it), but won't ever be going back there for food again. Every single thing on my plate was the worst tasting I have ever had. It's not even like just the beans were bad (the eggs were alright), everything was terrible.. Staff were friendly and service was relatively speedy considering the time of day.

I've been in a few times and at first glance, it looks nice, but when you look closer, it's a bit grotty. Sticky floors, dirty glasses, unwiped tables. Friendly but slow service.

Whilst more than happy to seat myself and my partner when it came down to anything else the service was terrible. It took almost 20 minutes for our order to be taken (even for drinks!) followed by another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The drinks were a simple Coke and a large glass of wine. Whilst I understand this can take awhile when busy; however most members of the staff were idling standing around. Pasta was bland; burger was redeeming but let down by very poor fries. Building had a nice décor however this was let down by the poor staff. If the management cared as much with the staff as they did with how it looked this would be a nice place. Would not recommend; try the Sussex across the road.
