Reviews of Long Arm Sports Pub & Brewery, Worship Street
D. S.
Perfect for sport, endless TV screens with 2x projectors at each end. Food is great however pricey. Great beers however recently there have been only a few available. Staff are great (I did see one struggle to open a corked bottle). All round solid venue and my go to for sport in the area.
J. S.
Found my favourite watering hole in a 200m radius from the office , and great smiles from Lucy .. oh and the beer is nice too ;-)
D. D.
Good bar that shows sports near where I work. But I've experienced a few major flaws in the few times I've been. On all 3 occasions, the IPA was out. "sold out at the weekend" it was explained despite it being a Thursday night. In fact everytime I've been there, the choice has been lager, stout or cider, which isn't what you expect when they promote themselves as a brewery with a variation of craft drinks on tap. Also I was hoping to watch Spurs one night but they instead were showing the Celtic game over Spurs, which when you're close to North London is utterly bizarre. A few things to improve on for this place to keep me coming back as I'm discovering other options in the area.
C. F.
Not a bad place for a drink as the cider was SUPER delicious. My only complaint was the blaring music that made it hard to have a civil conversation. Who actually wants that in the 21st century? 4 stars as I'll forgive a lot for good drink
M. B.
Cool and rustic location with big unfinished wooden table tops and heavy adjustable stools and then right there are the pub brewery tanks to see and some delicious live ales produced for immediate consumption. One gets a little feel for what pubs used to be like hundreds of years ago with their own beers. Carefully helpful staff offered tastes of beers. Virtually empty mid afternoon but imagine has a thronging trendy crowd as the offices empty out.

The 5-7 happy hour was wicked!! And the food was okay. One of the main issues was the ramekin sized sauces. I mean who eats a bowl of chips with only one ramekin of ketchup!! I felt like taking a sip and then asking for the bottle!! Overall a good place to have a drink!!
S. S.
Decent pub and sports bar with big screens.
Unfortunately for a microbrewery, only having 3 beers (1 of them a stout) on tap is pretty poor. Ok food, but for £14, the chicken burgers are tiny (although tasty), finished in 4/5 bites and fries too salty.
Finally, only option was to order by app, but charged 12.5% service charge for every order. I always tip on table service but prefer to be given the option at the end.
I would give it another go when they have more beer taps on as the beer I had was nice. Also it's great for sport with the big HD screens and they play the commentary but disappointing visit overall.
M. J.
Great place to drink good beers with friends. Spacious with a pinball machine and pool table. Food is also great and staff very friendly

Following a delightfully boozy dinner party with friends on Friday night, Mrs. Flavour and I awoke with more than a hint of a hangover each. Fortunately, there’s a hot new venue just down the road and I can’t think of a better pick me up than several pints of tank fresh beer and a dirty great burger.
The Long Arm Pub and Brewery on Worship street has got it nailed! We entered this snazzy saloon-like bar and swaggered past the reclaimed wooden tables like thirsty outlaws. Our eyes were drawn to the massive shiny beer tanks that dominate the far-right corner of the space. Long Arm pride themselves on having a zero-carbon footprint, as the beer is brewed and drunk on the same spot. I for one couldn’t wait to sample that freshness and the charming bar staff were very obliging. We were offered some tasters of their intriguingly titled brews. The zesty Lucky Penny had a refreshingly light and fruity taste, an instant favourite with the Mrs. I however consider any beer with less than 5% alcohol content to be as welcome as an Ed Sheeran cameo. As delicious as Lucky Penny was, I needed something manlier that’ll put hairs on your chest (Mrs. Flavour’s note: – Why are you writing like it’s the 1970’s?).
The bartender directed me to an intriguing black lager with a malty tang. I then sampled a bold dark beer flavoured with cookies and chocolate, which was every bit as delicious as it sounds. Plus, the 6% of alcohol was a winner in my book. We took our tankards of fresh brew towards the pool table, for a couple of frames and a peek at the menu.
Mrs Flavour and I are big fans of a pub game and the lure of the red baized American size pool table was too much to resist. I racked them up as my good lady ordered up a couple of small plates to fuel the competition. I think the highlight of my weekend was the point at which the braised short rib croquette landed on my palette. This hot, crispy coated morsel of deliciousness is crammed with the softest, juiciest strands of prime beef. I was so overwhelmed by its meaty majesty that I completely miscued my next shot (Mrs Flavour’s note: – Nothing to do with that beer then?). The crispy squid rings were worth sitting back down for and the comforting richness of the mac and cheese croquettes were more than enough to console the fact that I was clearly losing the game at this point. Time for more beer!
The Long Arm pub has a pleasingly varied selection of 5 burgers and one dog, catering for vegetarians, pescatarians and greedy buggers like me who crave tons of meat. Unsurprisingly, Mrs Flavour opted for the suitably titled Dirty Bird (Mrs. Flavour’s note: – You’re this close to getting a slap). Her crunchy coated chicken burger came with an IPA OK Honey mustard sauce, which certainly stacked it above anything the Colonel churns out. I selected the cheekily named Build That Wall Burger, a meaty covfefe of juicy beef patty and chipotle jalapeno and red bean chilli which was fit for a President. If the burgers in Mexico taste this good, I know which side of the wall I’d like to be on. A few more beers and a side of crisp onion rings meant I really didn’t care that my wife was clearly whuppin’ my ass on the pool table.
As we nestled into the comfy leather furniture and sipped some of the finest craft beers we’d tasted in a while, our hangovers became but a distant memory. The welcoming atmosphere and mouth-watering food at Long Arm filled us with a new lease of life and we were once again craving the excitement of a warm London evening.

Great micro brewery. Food excellent and a reasonable price for London. Menu a little small but does change on a regular basis. No need to book but not a lot of seating. Highly recomend the chili beef starter and the pulled pork burger
A. R.
Nice pub if you're looking for sports. Also some entertainment for those less interested which is a nice touch. Food is over priced.
C. H.
Really nice staff, fresh beer from tank-tap and a really good burger - we had the Shorthorn Double Cheese. They do a 6 x taster craft beer flight, my favourite was the ‘LAB LAGER’.
R. R.
Great large venue with a wide selection of beers and live football games. I reserved a table for a birthday celebration and was very well treated and the manager went out of his way to ensure things were all good. Beef burger was 👌🏽👌🏽
C.
My favourite bar in this part of town. Always 6 of their own craft beers on tap, reasonable prices for the area, staff are great, chilled atmosphere. If I could I'd prop up this bar every day of the week.
A. P.
Good vibe and service, but the beers were a bit bland to my liking. And tables, which are made of some sort of railroad sleepers smell accordingly, which is not a good match for beers.
A. H.
Fantastic little bar. Loved the beer, staff and food. Will definitely revisit again.
S. P.
Awesome micro brewery serving excellent tap beers - wonderful atmosphere, great staff and good food. Not to be missed 🤗
H. B.
Spent new year's eve here and had loads of fun! Really nice venue, staff were exceptional, delicious snacks were included in the ticket and we had more than we could eat (even as vegans). The band knew what they were doing and the songs were on point. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the darts tournament on the 3 big screens... but perhaps the other patrons enjoyed that. I can definitely recommend a visit.
M. Z.
Great beer, great service, delicious food! They offered us a taste of each beer before deciding, so we couldn’t really go wrong with our choice. The beer is brewed on the premises and the entire carbon footprint reducing micro-brewery/fishery/urban farm concept sounds fantastic. The staff are very friendly as well, and as an added benefit, the toilets are super fancy. It’s a hidden gem that isn’t going to stay hidden for a long time!
E. A.
One of the best pubs in north London, especially between 4-6 when they have half priced steins! The atmosphere and staff are great.
The small touches make this one of my favourite places to drink in London. You can hire a table or area for a reasonable minimum spend. The food is great (I'd recommend the chicken burger) and the beer is even better!
Perfect place to start a night before heading into shoreditch, or for a couple of after-work beers.
S. D.
Big airy bar with it's own brewery. Six on tap yesterday when I visited including a very nice espresso stout. Regular strength beers are £5.50-6, which is about the going rate for craft beers. Food is mainly burgers to soak the beer up with. Staff very friendly and helpful. Downside is, it gets rammed and very noisy with after work crowd. Pleasant if you can avoid those time. Upside is, it shares the toilets (washrooms as they call them) with the Montcalm hotel, and must one of the most luxurious place to re-cycle the beer.
M. S.
Great pub. The brown curly hair girl was so nice and attentive. Food was ok. They have a lot of screens and the place is lovely.
M. C.
Love this bar! Great place to go for a chilled out vibe with great food and awesome new beers! A brown haired lady served us and was so lovely, clued up on all the beers and made us feel very welcome. Definitely going to be back soon!
K. V. H. V.
I've been a regular at the Long Arm since the day it opened. Even after we moved offices I still come back here with my mates to hang out. They've got the best craft beer and best happy hour in London with a Stein for £5.50 between 4 and 6pm. Food is brilliant, staff is even better and if you're into sports they've got two massive screens showing all the top events! Not to mention it's worth going just for their puns ;)
Favourite place in London, hands down.
R. W.
We were visiting from the States last summer and found Long Arm on the web. We took the tube from Central London and are glad we did. Beer was great, service was excellent and our burgers were the best. We tell other Anglophiles about the pub... hopefully they have taken our advice and visited! We highly recommend the place!
M. B.
Staff are friendly, great selection of drinks, excellent TVs in different directions. For an evening out it's great. Unfortunately, for lunch, it's let down by its food. Not the quality, but the ability to sit and enjoy it. Seating is a big problem, with about 2/3 the number required, and inappropriate table sizes and heights.
R. A.
Went to Long Arm during a pub tour while I was visiting London from the States. The staff were friendly and informative about the brewing process and what makes their brews different. They have a lot of inventive stuff so definitely check it out if you’re up for taking your tastebuds on an adventure. Don’t even think about leaving without trying the Queequeg- one of the best stouts I’ve tasted! One could even describe it as The Black Pearl of stouts!
S. D.
Nice brewery and good beers. Cheers!
V. R.
Been in this evening ordered two beers. Ordered the non vegan dirty fries a beef burger and chicken burger. Food absolutely amazing, staff warm and welcoming. Definitely on my to do list next time we visit London
L. C.
A must for beer and sport lovers. Great atmosphere and brilliant selection of beers. A tad on the noisy side in terms of the sport shown on the massive TVs, but sure this would be great if you liked football ( I certainly don’t!). The playlist is also incredible!
D. B.
AMAZING beer, decent prices and the staff are on point. The perfect pub
S. P.

Worth going for the happy hour 4-6 when you get a stein for the price of a pint. Great choice of craft beers brewed on site.
Don't order the vegan platter, you're paying £25 for a load of tortilla crisps.
T. S.
Held my husbands birthday gathering here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, both when organising a table booking and the table service! The beers were also great and venue is awesome with the beer tanks in the background.
A. R.
Great service and friendly staff. Food is very limited though. If you don't fancy a burger, you're kind of out of luck. Could also be one of the most unhealthy burgers I've ever eaten. No gherkin, tomato or lettuce - just meat and heavily processed cheese. Friend loved it though. Horses for courses I guess.
P. A.
Looks good only stayed for a half but they have a good range of beers - 8 or 10. Bearded guy serving beer was grumpy. Seating is a bit rubbish and they favor people sitting at the bar, this is a stupid idea. People sat at the bar are in the way of people trying to order, I don't know why this it's such a difficult concept for pubs to grasp. They have a lounge area with pub games.
J. A.
Good atmosphere and good selection of own brewed drinks
D. H.
Big open bar with beer brewed on site on tap and a great mix of music! Team is friendly and the atmosphere is very chilled - perfect for a catch up with friends over a few drinks.
J. S.
Loved the beer - tastie as F.
Loved the food - arrived in decent time, reasonably priced and boy was it filling, plus point, tasted good too. Staff were friendly and down to earth - slwaya nice dealing with fellow humans.
Music was decent, kept my feet taping will I wolfed my massive chicken burger and sipped on my beautifully tastie APA.
Can't really find anything to complain about! Will defo be visiting again!
J. D.
Beers were great especially the lager that was so much better than any known brands. Atmosphere was great and the super tall bartender was super Cool and welcoming, think he might be Greek. Will definitely be back
A. A.
Awesome night, thanks very much for hosting our company event on the 12th June in the bar. Massive thanks to James for making it a success; only two behind the bar and you somehow managed to bring us food and drinks without there being a massive queue at the bar!
M. R.
Cool place but the beer was disappointing. All the pale ales were quite bland and flat. The beer just isn't as good as the larger London craft brewers like Meantime or Camden. Hopefully it will improve over time.
R. C.
Another perfect example of the beer revolution finally sweeping the nation presented in bar form! Fantastic beers brewed onsite on offer! its 100% what the part of town needs! One additional thing there are lots of charging/power points around which is great!
H. L.
Very well executed pub/bar part of the Montcalm hotel. Relaxed atmosphere and great burgers
F. G.
The barkeep is a fine fellow. Nay all the keepers of the booze are excellent servers of the brew. I say unto you in the words of my father: 'buklau.'
What a place, what an atmosphere. Crisp. 5 Stars.
T. W.
Good space, lots of bench seating, beers are good and prices are okay for London. Service is busy during their happy hour, bit kinda worth it too lol
D. P.
Good selection of beers brewed in-house, friendly staff, and very tasty burgers. Unsuprisingly a little dear, though - a pint and a burger and chips was about £19.
P. L.
Amazing selection of beers. The pale ales were really nice. The service and the staff was also on point. Would recommend and go back again.
K. H.
Great brewery pub, with changing beers. Food top notch too. Good atmosphere. Usually can get a table. Highly recommend.
S. D. C.
Daniele has been absolutely phenomenal towards us, making us feel at home as soon we stepped in with her contagious smile! Whomever hires her in the future should know the value and experience that she possesses! absolute MVP. 10 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
R. R.
Nicely done micro brewery for middle class white hipster city types. It's sad that I think a fiver is a bargain for a pint now but it is. Plugs in the tables for the dying battery of your prototype device too. All very civilised
J. H.
Nice enough burgers and beer. And the staff were lovely. However the tables made from railway sleepers absolutely reeked of diesel. To the point where it spoilt the taste of our beer and food.
N. S.
Solid craft beer spot just north of Moorgate. Great beer in the City.
B. M.
Brilliant place to chill and sample unique craft beers. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and know how to make you feel welcome.
N. K.
A wide variety of unusual but tasty beers at fairly reasonable prices. It gets quite crowded though, and you're not allowed to stand outside after a certain point so it can get stuffy.
V. B.
One of the coolest pubs in the area. Food is a bit pricey but everything else is great. Lovely people behind the bar.
T. R.
Longarm has a great atmosphere and a fantastic selection of delightfully witty brews. Their beer tour was very entertaining and informative!
f. m.
This place is amazing, pub with their own brewery attached, next time I go I will try the food, I tasted the German hock lager (abv5.2) very nice, love the facility of a power socket and USB sockets at your table
O. O. (.
Great beer. Great location. But don't call yourself a spots pub and play music during the whole game.
E. T.
Best toilets of any pub I've ever been in ever! Worth a visit almost purely for that reason. Good atmosphere in the pub as well I guess. Good pool table.
B. G.
One of three pubs/bars at the Montcalm Royal Hotel London City. Draft beers, bar games and a very cool rustic interior design.
H.
Good pub with different beers to try regularly. Great place to watch major sport events also with a good atmosphere and plenty of screens.
S. L.
Good drinks. Good music. Need work in food. The music patty didn’t smell amazing. Had to eat it because I was hungry. Don’t wanna think of the consequences!
R. B.
Great atmosphere, 4 star Double IPA, 1 star Lager. Unfortunately there were quite a few half empty glasses around the place where people could not even finish the Lager.
L. N.
Great bar, fantastic beer and even better atmosphere, with absolutely wonderful staff. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
S. G.
Couldn't ask for more of a fantastic place to get some drinks. Very cool bar starf, need to mention the star of the evenings at long arm, the most talented, Daniele.
G. M.
Food, beer and service were great. We messed up the burger order and they brought us a new one without a fuss.
j. a.
Very great atmosphere, great selection of beers and will definitely come back for sure, I highly recommend to anyone who's passing.

Lovely bar, friendly staff and great beer! Got chatting to Elliott behind the bar about football and had a great time. A need to visit bar when in London!!
J. B.
Great selection of ales made on the premises. Very tasty food. Friendly, helpful staff. Delighted to have stumbled across this place.
C. S.
Best beer and great service. Love the frequency of change and consistent quality. Richard and Sheila are brilliant.
A. E.
Stopped for afew drinks, it was quite busy but service was good and fast. I found the bar quite dirty and sbit too loud.
D. G.

A. F.
Decent beers, very chill atmosphere
R. A.
A good pub / mini brewery in a quiet part of Shoreditch.
I recommend their in-house Winnie the Brew.
C. D.
Friendly staff and good beer. My only fault will be the door has a tendency to stick open and it can get cold.
C. N.
I was very impressed with the service from Daniele during my last visit- she was very accomodating and sweet! Will definitely be coming back again
M. A.
Excellent food and beer. Plus service that know what they are talking about. 👍

(Translated) Cool pub, good own beer! If in the area I would recommend a visit. Nice service! You can also get a sip or two from the barrel to try if you are unsure whether the selected beer will find your own taste. Absolutely recommendable! And then just around the corner into the Singer Tavern! ;-)
(Original)
Coole Kneipe, gutes eigenes Bier! ;-)

(Translated) Large section of locally made craft beers in the bar
This pub is awesome.
There is a sign to the right of the bar which indicates the beers of the moment with their description, price and degree of alcohol
Be careful the glasses are huge, the prices are reasonable for the quality
If you are looking for a micro brewery in London this is the place to be
(Original)

(Translated) Good pub in London's Shoreditch neighborhood. The beer is good (personally I chose a lager) and the appetizers are not bad. I think however that for us Italians the bill is to be considered a bit too high, but probably here they have different salaries
(Original)

(Translated) It's warm here (it's icy outside and other places are not set up). No, that's not all. The beers are good, although not many are offered at the same time from the barrel. Today there are four.
I liked the music very well (rock).
The toilets are great as they belong to a luxury hotel.
But beware! Cash is not accepted, only plastic!
