Reviews of LSQ Rooftop - Leicester Square
V. S.
A lovely gem of a place that was nice and quiet and very chilled considering it's in one of the busiest squares in London. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the decor is nicely done, not too overstated. Lovely views of the London skyline including the London rye, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, etc. Be prepared to spend some money though, the drinks are not cheap!! Worth it though for the ambience and views.

The view is simply GORGEOUS, everything else is awful.
The food is not very good. We ordered a medium-rare rib eye but it was literally fully cooked.. still tasted great, just not what we ordered. The gnocchi was awful, but I absolutely hated the taste. The only thing that tasted good was the baked Camembert (hard to go wrong with cheese though).
The wine list was extremely short. For a rooftop bar/restaurant you’d expect a lot more.
The service was awful. They made us wait 10 minutes for our table even though we booked it, and once we hit the 1.5 hour limit we were constantly asked to move (which would’ve been totally understandable if it was reserved for someone else), but the table next to us was EMPTY the whole time. Why ask us to move at 10pm if you don’t have any more bookings?
Would’ve given it a 1 star, but gave it a 3 for the view, the nibbles and that one sweet bartender (or back back staff member).

Great bar in Central if you want something different. Went on a Wednesday night. Was perfect with the balance of privacy and atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and overall great service.

Lovely little bar at the top of the m n m shop in Leicester sq. Enter through the indigo hotel , straight to the 9th floor.
Beautiful views of London .
C.
Great view of Leicester Square. Very quiet considering location as rooftop bar at time of visit for pre dinner drinks. Did not require to book. Bar located on 9th floor of Indigo hotel. Access via lift on side of reception. Balcony accessible during autumn / winter season. Although more for view as standing up, not to sit down and drink.

I feel a little mean giving this place 3 stars in a way, but let me explain.
So you're paying for the view for sure! It's a nice setting and good view and the decor is nice too. But that's where things end I suppose. The cocktails are mediocre and took a while to come. The service was friendly but we were also handed our bill before we had finished. Well the waitress said we could still order bit she has to give us the bill now due to time or something. Anyways. Nice atmosphere and view and I possibly would return because of those things. But otherwise mediocre.

Visited Leicester Sqaure for the day and saw LSQ Rooftop on Google as one of the nicer places to eat in Leicester Square. Whilst it was difficult to find as it is situated at the top of the Indigo Hotel on floor 9, it was well worth going. We ordered 5 small plates and a cocktail each and everything was exceptional - great service, great views, excellent food and exceptional cocktails. Would highly recommend.

An absolute pleasure to have had dinner in this amazing restaurant, worth the price, the view of the square and around London are breathtaking. Food was amazing.
J. B.
Very nice views of Leicester Square and London - views of London eye, big Ben and The City. Nice cocktails with a nice atmosphere. Lovely tiny outside terrace.
w.
great view of the city skyline through large glass walls and down to the square from the balcony tables
P. G.
Expensive. While that's what you expect from a rooftop bar, it just felt expensive for the sake of it. Awful wine glassware, the kind your Gran has at the back of her cupboard. Saving grace is the nice staff.
H. A.
Beautiful view and very classy place a bit expensive as a glass of wine and a cocktail where 30 pounds but where isn't in london
J. W.
Great location and that's what it has going for it, looks tired internally and food was OK but nothing special, cocktails good but service slow and wine was served not quite chilled enough
S. H.
Walked in on Saturday 20.11.21 afternoon and asked for a table of 5 for drinks. A lovely young lady sat us at a table and said we could stay until 6.30 which gave us just under 2 hours. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and was very happy at out table.
Just before 6pm, our waiter brought out Bill over,we paid but I asked again was we still ok to stay till 6.30 to which he replied yes.
At 6pm we was then approached by a very rude man saying that we could no longer sit at the table, we explained we was told we could stay till 6.30 by the host that originally sat us but he wouldn't accept this and came across very rude and aggressive.
We said we would never have ordered 2 bottles of wine in that case so he did give us a refund for part of the bill and then took away the half bottle of wine we had left.
When I asked our waiter who this man was,he replied the manager.
If this is your bar manager, then he needs to learn how to be polite and speak to your customers in an appropriate way.
It was a very disappointing end to our day that left a bitter feeling with us all

A cozy and elegant place without being too posh; incredible cocktails (the Big Ben has too be experienced in a lifetime!) and a good little selection of food to enjoy the beautiful view of Leicester Square and London roofs. The entry/elevator is actually difficult to find as it's "merged" with the Indigo Hotel, just right across the M&M's store on this little dead-end street.
B. B.
The views across London were very nice and the staff were friendly. The vibe wasn't really what my wife and I were after, but it may be to others liking. The place was a bit run down and the DJ was playing some pretty awful house music. It would probably be a good place for a party after 11pm, but for a casual drink at 7pm, I would recommend pretty much any other rooftop bar in London
K. K. A.
Nice and friendly place, not pub with music. Awesome view of London from the rooftop. There were people of almost all ages, young, middle aged and respectful elders.
S. B.
lovely views. Great afternoon and evening. Would not recommend having cooked breakfast. Had American pancakes with crispy bacon. Pancakes out of packet and not warmed up properly. we're hard. bacon was limp. Shame as not cheap to stay and drinks in evening are not cheap
L. L.
Stunning location for a pre-theatre cocktail. Amazing view/
G. M.
Go through Hotel Indigo (opposite M&M) then take lift to top floor to find the bar. Great views.
M. F.
We booked for drinks but ended up coming in early and had some small plates to share and drinks as our theatre booking had been cancelled. The food was good. The restaurant has got an art deco feel, the views are absolutely stunning, panoramic, all the key London landmarks are on show. There are seats outside, we didn't have cocktails but they looked really good. The maitre d was super cheerful and helpful and sorted out a table for us at short notice. Daniel our waiter couldn't of be more attentive, we were very impressed with the service. Overall an absolute gem. I will be back
S. B.
I booked a table for 5 people and we got the best seating with the best view. We got seated right in front of the bar and the sofas were very comfortable. Drinks were really good and staffs were really friendly and showed utmost professionalism. We had different sorts of cocktails and wines and they all were good and got to take some Instagram worthy pics as well. Will come back again.

Went for unlimited brunch with the girls 1 of my best nights out. Fantastic service and get the steak! Jus perfect
N. k.
Great views of London at night and great cocktails
P. C.
Great place for a drink. If you want food I would go somewhere else. Not because of the quality but more because of the extremely slow service.
After 30 minutes of sitting at our table and no one coming over I went and found someone.
Most customers seem to go there for a drink.
Air-conditioning far too cold too.
I deducted the service charge.

Great views but a bit over priced a limited menu and a calm but quiet atmosphere but service was good 👍🏾
D. J.
Amazing rooftop bar. Fantastic panoramic views across london. Stylish art deco decor. Chilled out and relaxing atmosphere. Great food at reasonable prices. Excellent service, staff very freindly and went out of their way to make our lunch special. Definatley reccomend!
J. S.
Thoughtful, helpful staff (Giorgia in particular) and a great view. Bit of a tricky place to find though (you have to go through the hotel entrance).
M. B.
First glance you walk into a hotel reception, the politess security will check your reservation and then the friendliest receptionist will show you to the lift. There are 2 lifts so; not long you are on the way to 9nth floor, lift door opens and the biggest smiles will greet you and take you to your table, amazing house staff btw, great strong cocktails, nibble menu and my son loved the salted caramel and ice cream dessert; for me was the amazing prawn tempura with batter that was not oily at all and crispy like rice crispy cereal. Yes and the view of looking down at Leicester Square is snobbish but the view seeing the Shard, Gurkin, Walkie Talkie, Cheese Grater, Big Ben, London Eye ect... amazingly good photos for memoirs. I definitely recommend and will be back with both sons next time 🥰
S. Q.
Beautiful place, amazing views and service was extremely good! Pricing is crazy but they are delicious! Go here!
S. T.
Proper hidden gem of Leicester Square. Amazing views around London but you pay for the view. You're looking at 4 GnTs and service to cost you about £70. Food is pretty good but you come for the chill out vibes and the view.
L. G.
Great view. Good service. Not too busy on Sunday at lunchtime
S. R.
Good location, good views over London from a central location. Not cheap and not expansive menu but good food and good service in a good location.
J. S.
We booked the private room for our company winter gathering and got very good food, attentive staff, excellent setting. A lovely time was had by all.
B. L.
Did not have Jameson when ordered but did not mention it when ordered. The wait for drinks was very long.
