U. S. A. J.Amazing place and very reasonably priced. A true glimpse into what a proper, traditional local pub in London is: a place where everyone knows one another, a place to come unwind after work with friends, very friendly and chatty staff with a deep love for football and an underlying camaraderie that you will not experience in the new pubs full of strangers.
Once you've been welcomed, you'd always want to return; and the booze costs less than most joints.

S. B.Absolutely love the place! Local pub that only accepts cash. But the air of camaraderie is awesome, very welcoming and whoever is manning the bar (We've met Graham and Steve) are always up for a friendly chat. Plus they've got a jukebox.
So good tunes, good people and more than affordable booze near Canary wharf.....what else can you ask for mate!

n. c.Just stumbled across this old pub by chance as staying and working nearby. Love it. It's rough around the edges, not been decorated for years but cheap for London and full of cockneys with a friendly welcoming feel. This sort of place is rare these days, especially in this area. If you want a sterile pub with no atmosphere stick to Wetherspoons. If you want a real proper cockney pub then stop in for a pint.

S. M.Propa’ Boozer! Incredible selection of beer taps, if you’re lucky they’ll have fancy foreign beers on tap, sadly we missed out. Always busy with friendly locals and the odd fashion guru or two. Lady behind the bar loves her music and you won’t be disappointed as she drops banger after banger! Why not pop in after a visit to Maureen’s Pie and Mash?

L. C.Smells a bit. Not a true depiction of eastend people. Love the loos and the outside space is nice but could do with some professional graffiti on walls to add some colour to it.. needs a paint job inside also... staff always nice...
D. B.Quirky East End pub. Visited lunchtime mid week. Plenty of friendly locals in. Standard beers but no cask ales. Quirky decs with chandeliers. Loudish music but no TV. At least it makes a change from the standard chains.
