Reviews of Montagu Pyke - JD Wetherspoon
C. G.
Excellent Wetherspoons location.
It was extremely busy but it was the fastest service I had experienced at any other location.
Very large and accommodating for small groups.
Excellent deals on drinks and cocktails as always.
Highly recommend.

Have been to this Wetherspoons branch before and it has a nice ambience about it. My friend and I went on 04-12-21 to grab a quick meal before going to the theatre. We are familiar with the layout and how to order etc. When we arrived just after 5pm, the place was heaving. This branch is very popular and it was very busy, but we managed to find somewhere to sit.
Ordering usually you can go to the bar, but now you can either download the app or scan the barcode on the table and it leads you to the website where you can order food and drinks, just click and order what you want, put your table number and card details in. My drink and food arrived within minutes and I was happy with the service. Can't complain. I had the meal deal - Fish and Chips with Peas. For Dessert I chose Warm Fudge Choc Cake with Vanilla Ice-Cream and it went down well.
Toilets you have to take stairs up to the balcony and then another flight of stairs to the ladies but plenty of cubicles and fairly clean.
Would definitely recommend this place, JD Wetherspoons is cheap and cheerful but reliable. Find service quite fast too in terms of ordering food and drink. Everyone's experience may be different but I've never had any problems with them, this branch and Wood Green.
Nice ambience, busy, vibrant, music in the background but all round good vibe.
J. Q.
Its a spoons - what more is there to say? Well, its incredibly busy and there was a real battle to get tables and chairs. Once you have them, people will pester you endlessly as to whether you are using them when one of your party goes to the bar or loos. Terrible. The food and drinks took about 15-30 minutes to materialise. Also, if you sit remotely near the door you will be bumped into many, many times over the course of the night as people come and go.
J. S.
Was very busy . Our drinks came very quickly. The food took a bit of time which is fair enough as I ordered a steak so someone will have needed to be free to cook it. The food was very nice, but the steak tasted strongly of garlic, I'd rather be able to taste the flavour of the meat
T. S.
We have been here several times as it is perfectly located for theatres. The food is tasty and well priced, including a drink.
The venue is interesting, with many feature remaining from the original concert hall.
It is pleasantly bustling but quiet at lunchtime, but gets much noisier and crowded in the evening.
A. T.
+ nice atmosphere in an old theatre/cinema hall
+ one of the cheaper places to properly eat in Zone 1
- about 20% more expensive than the same food in Spoons outside the Zone 1
+ tasty fish and chips and cocktail pitchers, very nice and affordable curry on Curry Thursdays, good apple crumble
- gets very crowded on Saturday and Sunday when everything is also unclean (beer on the ground, toilet cleaning delayed)
- not great baked beans
C. T.
As always wetherspoons don't disappoint, great bar lots of seating, food is spot on with great prices. Bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Worth a visit if you are passing.
P. P.
Lovely food and the pub was quite quiet. The Caledonian burger was very nice with Haggis....
S. W.
Very busy but the service was fast. Got my fish and chips with a gin in no time at all. I like that there is background music. Close to all the theatre so made a nice stop for food before our show.
L. L.
Amazing.. ordering from the app on a busy day thought.. maybe gonna have a lil wait but no.. got our drinks straight away and dinner wasn't long.. it was delicious. Lovely atmosphere.. would definitely go there again

Excellent breakfast opened 0800. Good real ale selection. Recommended
J. P.
Nothing like a chicken tikka and a pink gin from here...Great staff...and lots of atmosphere...need I say more...its the best theatre meal at an amazing price
S. P.
Very busy place as expected with Weatherspoons but can’t complain got my drinks and chips in a good amount of time and lovely decorations around the place
P. E.
Nice and cheap bar for enjoying some beers!
S. T.
Fast and efficient service via the app. Good deals. Just very busy!
M. M.
This place is definitely a bit of an Alladin's cave. You enter from Frith Street and it turns into a vast ampitheatre as you go inside. It was a concert hall and has rock paraphernalia on the walls. Two story Wetherspoons worth a visit in the heart of Soho.
F. O.
Large, relaxing venue, good food, reasonable prices.
Z. C.
much more space here for pre show drinks
P. E.
Nice and cheap bar for enjoying some beers!
V. S.
Cheap and cheerful. Get there mid afternoon if you're wanting a table to sit and chat as it gets busy quickly.
Toilets are up a huge flight of stairs fyi for those with mobility issues.
M. L.
Like most people I’ve been to a lot of different Wetherspoons and in my opinion this was one of the best. The place is massive and has a nice relaxing vibe to it. Most of the staff are.friendly and chatty. The service is good, most of the seating areas are very nice and the food I’ve had such as mixed grill and English breakfasts were very tasty and of course the booze and food are great value. I missed this place during the pandemic. Nice place to take a date or drink with mates. Highly recommend

C. H.
It's a large Wetherspoons that is very busy but the staff are still pretty quick at getting you served. Prices are good (especially for London). The toilets are pretty grim though and the music a touch loud, otherwise it's a decent enough place for a pint.
S. C.
Cheap drinks in central London which is always good. Looks abit outdated inside but that is expected with a Wetherspoon. Could be very busy so waiting time could be a while.
T. j.
Nice bar and club.
The staff were friendly and different rooms catering to different tunes.
Drinks nice and inexpensive
J. P.
Nothing like a chicken tikka and a pink gin from here...Great staff...and lots of atmosphere...need I say more...its the best theatre meal at an amazing price
W.
Very busy place and great for cheap drinks before night out but would avoid if looking for just a drink or two
S. P.
Very busy place as expected with Weatherspoons but can’t complain got my drinks and chips in a good amount of time and lovely decorations around the place
G. E.
Spacious wetherspoons pub, good food, nice location.
m. w.
Great prices, especially for London, quick service off the app and really nice food. Definitely recommend.
M. M.
Very large and busy place. Ordered via app and drinks came immediately, food followed shortly afterwards.
Food was hot and very tasty, we both had the new 1/2 chicken meal.
The lemon and herb was very tasty and the spicy rice had a bit of a kick but was very nice.
Husband had the piri piri 1/2 chicken, too spicy for me but he looked it.
Ordered a side of the chicken wings as well, crispy, moist and very taste, did not bother with the sauce.
M. R.
Me and my wife had 2 steaks ordered the same medium/well my wife's was fine but mine was medium rare so we sent mine back which is something we've never done the next one came out mooing at which point alovely young lady called Loredana appeared apologized gave us 2 free GnT another steak and all our money back Top marks for Loredana and spoons🥳🥳🥳
Z. H.
It's ok but there are not enough tables, you can't stand anywhere inside without security constantly asking you to move. They let far too many people inside and it was very crowded.
L. L.
I strongly recommend for food. It is very convenient to order from the app, in less then 5 minutes you will have your drinks with you. Great place to goo for drinks and food from Sunday to Thursday, plus the food and the drinks are significant cheap comparing to other restaurants, Friday and Saturday is far too busy, so I would not recomendo in both of theses days.
M. L.
Big wetherspoons. Couldn't get a seat on Saturday night as so busy. But looked like a fab place to be and enjoy a drink and or food.
M. R.
While working away in London for 15 consecutive days we used this pun for a meal after work as it was bang across the road from us. Excellent service and fantastic meals. The mix grill was absolutely delicious. The steak was out of this world!
M. L.
love the halloumi fries, and that you can order through the app with no need to go to the counter. service is always pretty fast, toilets are usually clean.
My go to place for quick a drink and nibbles.
J. B. (.
Amazing Decor as is usually the case with Wetherspoons, loads of seating and a break from the high prices of London… but that’s pretty obvious.
Been here a couple times; it’s a great place to spend the night, the staff do their job but that’s about it, always try get a seat in the main seating area with the raised seating as the entrance coming in from Soho is a horrible noise tunnel and is hard to hear even someone sitting 2 feet from you. Good facilities, very close to Soho so good place to get going before spending big down the main drag.
I will say, the service is very fast which I appreciate a lot. - thanks
J. E. C. (.
Great restaurant and pub. Good drinks. Fairly busy when we went but still nice. Just have to wait for a table. Food was served hot!
Z. C.
much more space here for pre show drinks
M. Z.
I have a big passion for the whole Wetherspoon chain, and the Montagu Pyke is one of them.
City centre pub, most of the time very full, but even after that, food is served way too quickly and never was a problem with any order.
Music is a bit loud, so kinda noisy experience, but it's worth it.
j. s.
Great value.
Great staff, even managed to find and secure a Christmas present I'd left behind.
Cheap as chips.
Grumpy little security man trying to throw his 5 stone around!!
S. K.
Cosy bar. Great place to chill out after work and some nice pub grub. Has some really good wine also!
R. S.
Great as far as wetherspoons go. Good selection of beer and ales. Ridiculous prices for the location in London, and the staff are friendly.
D. C.
Relatively cheap drinks in the centre of London, staff were attentive and quick to serve me.
Don't come here if you want luxurious high-end surroundings.
g. t.
As all Wetherspoons. Good food and drink choices at sensible prices with adult portions...not always achievable in London.. hence the place was full.
A. M.
Always a lively, vibrant Spoons. Usual good value, particularly for the West End.
£3.49 for a pint of Ale in the west end! Whats not to like.
Also impressed that Spoons have kept basic Covid measures in place.
G. D. (.
Attentive service and wide range of drinks. The drinks were cheap given London prices. Atmosphere was not great but this is my own experience.
N. M.
It's a 2 min walk from the TCR tube station, so handy. No tv's so at least you can have a chat with your mates in peace.
R. J.
This is a great wetherspoons and usually busy, also has music on usually. Very near to all the local sights and in the centre of soho. Far better value than all the other pubs and bars in the area.
P. R.
Excellent breakfast opened 0800. Good real ale selection. Recommended
S. C.
Centrally located. Usual spoons fare. Good value. Toilets were a bit grim hence the 4 star rating.
A. C. (.
Only downside was the state the men's toilets was in after 9PM, Tissues all over the floor in the cubicles looked like it hadn't been cleaned, let alone checked, I understand it was a Friday night, but basic hygiene.
C. D.
Food was decent, drinks were nicely cold. Atmosphere was OK - unfortunately some parts of the building don't look so great. Nothing bad, nothing great.
V. B.
Of course being in London it was absolutely packed in there on a Friday night, however it was a great atmosphere, amazingly cheap drinks & plenty of seating :)
k. m.
Typical weatherspoons pub, very busy with good quality food and drink and reasonable prices for London.
Toilets are upstairs beside a small seating area.
W. P.
Is a big and busy Wetherspoons; but is much cheaper than most of the other pubs in the area. This isn't likely a place you'll want to spend lots of time, as there isn't much atmosphere, however you can get a meal and a pint for half the price of nearby options.
e. A.
Typical weather spoons, extremely busy pub in the west end of London. Food was served very quick and was OK.
B.
Very busy pub with good atmosphere. Excellent service with both food and drinks.
D. M.
Very big, plenty of sitting options. Food and drinks as per Wetherspoons standards and prices. Amazing athmosphere with music and lights dimmed after 21:00! 😍😁
T. C.
Perfect service. Tasty food. Unexpectedly expensive beer for weatherspoo £5.10 per pint of Leffe. 🙄
R. A.
Food and drink usual spoons, nice decor great service
P. S.
Usual Wetherspoon's fare but some beers and some menu items unavailable but what we had was most enjoyable
E. 5.
The staff's on the ball here very busy pub, food and drink very nice, atmosphere good been here every time we've visited London
N. F.
Amazing place, however, do not go for those cocktails jars as they barely have alcohol!
K. M.
Very good spoons, a little expensive but it is central London, good atmosphere and very friendly staff
C. K.
Spacious central London location, falls into the category of a typical Wetherspoons pub. Good to pass some time and rest your feet without breaking the bank on food or drinks.
All Wetherspoons all really much for muchness, the same drinks selection, same food selection, similar décor and the typical small mountain climb/adventure to locate the toilets.
This one has the benefit of been a Wetherspoons in the centre of London, meaning it is cheap and convenient to jump in for a quick drink without over the top pricing. The staff and service here is okay. The app used for ordering was around long before COVID so is well established and easy to use. Obviously during busy periods you can find that a simple drinks order will take longer than going to the bar to come to the table but when not busy we found our drinks hit the table almost immediately after paying.
Like most other Wetherspoon pubs, this one isn't going to make you think you are eating the highest of quality food, from the pictures on this review, the nachos were dry and the topping not distributed well, the chicken wings were overcooked but with the buffalo sauce ended up tasting alright, the chips and curry sauce had a texture like the chips has been microwaved with the sauce on them. However the chicken balls were actually really delicious, good juicy meat in a crispy batter. Would certainly order these again.
R. M.
Nice pub, plenty of friendly staff so getting a drink was quick and easy.
W. S.
Friendly staff, decent London prices and a HUGE selection of craft beers and ales. I always visit whilst the wife is at foyles.
G. R.
A very busy Wetherspoons full of photos of famous Groups that used to play in this venue ex Marqee Club and plays music at night over their sound system.
Y. S.
Went there on a Monday during the day, it was nice and quiet. After five it became busy and noisy.
p. D. (.
Took awhile to find a table once that was done u then have to download app to order but once that was done it was OK toilets was upstairs though not sure if any anywhere else 👍🏾
k. k.
Nice 'Spoons. Very busy even at 5pm on a Tuesday! But found a table eventually.
J. H.
Nipped in on a Friday teatime and was surprised that it wasn't busy, paid £4.75 for a koppeberg 😮 😮, only used to paying £2.89 in Nottingham lol 😂, nice pub though and got served straight away.
S. O.
Pretty average Wethersoons in the centre of Soho. The location and the size of the venue are the main things that appeal. Otherwise it's the same old usual Wetherspoon's fare but at West End prices, which kinda devalues the charm of the place. There are many more interesting pubs in the area that you can pay £4-5 a pint for but this is a decent option if you're struggling to find somewhere.
S. T.
Fast and efficient service via the app. Good deals. Just very busy!
C. J.
Visited during a trip to London with the girls, great atmosphere and good quick service when ordered on the app!
R. E.
Always a good Spoons. Very quick to bring drinks after ordering on the app.
M. D.
Excellent value for central london. located in the former Marquee Club
M.
Great food, good deals
J. H.
Always good value and good idea good quality. One of the better Wetherspoons.
D. B.
Great vegan breakfast choices.
Huge range of beer. No I’m not an alcoholic
C. S.
God !!! I never realised this Wetherspoons enterprise was located on the site of the once famous & World renowned old "Marquee" music venue.
It was my first visit here, as a pub, but it had all the atmosphere & fun that this well known pub chain offers.
My friend & I popped in for coffee & an apple crumble & ice cream dessert.
We couldn't believe the exceptional value.
Two servings of the most scrumptious dessert & re-fillable coffees for just over £11.
Where else in the West End could you find such value.
Definately worth a visit when next in town.
M. B.
Very quiet. Easy to get a table. Food was average.
D. D.
Lovely spoons pub with plenty of room to relax.can't beat the prices for Central London
R. B.
Great place great atmosphere, brilliant staff who worked very hard
S. B.
Good food, fast and decent service, very good prices! Nice atmosphere. Food isn't very high class but tastes awesome, so why bother? (curry thursday is recommended!) Great for tourist that just want to have good diner and some pints without overpaying. Will visit again. Make sure to check out other locations
M. A.
Great pub. Friendly staff and good food and drinks.
M. P.
They have Estrella Galicia beer. It was busy and yet food came quickly and was good.
S. W.
Very good packed out due to the weather bit hard to get a seat but the real ale was on song.
T. E.
LOVELY FOOD , staff lovely and friendly. Very clean , busy. Huge place
C. G.
Perfectly standard Wetherspoons; great for a cheap pint in an expensive area. However decor run down and service was slow; acoustics a surprisingly large problem - in areas of the pub it was so loud with other people's conversations you couldn't hear yourselves.
A. B.
Big pub, nice staff, lovely vibe.
A. B.
The main good thing about this pub is that it's huge -- maybe 100 tables. So you will almost always be able to get a table, which isn't guaranteed elsewhere in Soho.
L. P.
Prices higher than other Spoons as expected, but the service is very quick. Very well staffed, polite too. Never had a bad experience here unlike other Wetherspoon pubs.
P. W.
Good food and drink at a decent price for London, scampi and chips v nice.
S. F.
Standard Wetherspoons pub. Really good selection of beers and gin - they even use the proper gin glasses if it's not too busy. Depending on when you go it might be hard to get a seat at night but that's not uncommon for a London pub. When never I've been it's not been horribly crowded so you can easily have a quiet drink or have some nice conversions with a group of friends.
P. C.
Very busy. Great atmosphere and great Wetherspoons prices. Mulled cider was delicious and welcome on a cold winter day
L. P.
Prices higher than other Spoons as expected, but the service is very quick. Very well staffed, polite too. Never had a bad experience here unlike other Wetherspoon pubs.
D. K. W.
Moder stylish spoons, nice selection of ales, friendly staff.
S. A.
Beers with pals and Shaheer Zahid trying to impress Omar with his snogging skills on a petite "Persian". ;)
R. S.
Great service and surprisingly the food was very good.
M. B.
Had an enjoyable hour here away from the bustle of Oxford Street.
R. R.
Super busy otherwise great
H. K.
Lovely Wetherspoons.looks like a converted cinema, beer nd food prices bet good for london
S. R.
Atmospheric pub, great selection of beers and ales. Large amount of seating, but can be very busy at peak times. Make sure to check the small bar at the rear for seating. Toilets are upstairs, so don't over do it!
J. L.
Had to find my own table which wasn't great for social distancing as many other people were also looking for tables. Sat down and my table was sticky and wet, nobody wiped it down. Ordered using the app, which wasn't functioning at 100% but once I managed to place an order my food and drinks arrived quickly.
R. B.
Bog standard spoons. Sticky carpets as expected for area.
Good staff.
r. d.
Had a very nice time in this bar, great beer prices, good meals, all the young students use this bar later in the evening, overall 9/10
Z. W.
Extremely busy when we went but service was quick. Friendly
C. A.
Great night in this London Wetherspoons!!
P. D. C.
Great food, nice staff. Highly recommended, David Charles, David Charles Psychic Ltd.
C. S.
Great service, just way too noisy and overcrowded for me, personally
C. L.
Would have received 5 stars but the second visit ruined the rating. First visit was great, spacious, fantastic service, food was quick and pleasant, overall the aesthetic was great for a wetherspoons. However, upon visiting the following night and after stating one of our party had a disability and that we were looking to eat we were led to a small table only suitable for drinks and high up so one of our party couldn't reach the table well. Only two of us ate smaller meals and we ended up leaving quickly, after trying to reiterate to staff we needed an accessible table, the man who served us shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Reluctant to return.
G.
Great pub. Table serving only. You should have the app for Witherspoons to get served. You need to find a table first. Monday 17th May, first day of opening very busy. Face masks needed.
T. J.
Decent meal very cheap standard weatherspoons.
H. K.
Lovely Wetherspoons.looks like a converted cinema, beer nd food prices bet good for london
O. F.
We made it. All 20 in one day
A. S. I.
Can't go wrong with the local Soho Wetherspoons. Cheap drinks, good food! Always a great time.
B. M.
Very busy and noisy place, however makes for a nice atmosphere, however tables are not cleaned as the one we got was just.left with dirty.glasses and napkins, service is very fast at bar, toilets was like a scene from trainspotting absolutely disgusting.
K. J. (.
Cheap drinks get what you pay for. Too busy at night wouldn't bother eating here food is awful. Gets packed very quickly.
L. S.
Great venue and quite cheap. Does get busy though
E. R.
Great staff and fabulous service. The sitting area is vast like always with Wetherspoons. The food was good and was served quick. The staff were pleasant and enjoyed the visit.
M. H.
Great food, great prices and besides you can order from for cell phone. The staff is nice and fast.
T. F.
great Wetherspoons in a historic building it was once the location for the famous Marquee Club -gets very busy but you get served quickly =bring your id they are very strict i am 62 and always get i.d'd
J. H.
Nice staff very busy but enjoyed good night
T. M.
Overall it's a nice place to go, good music, nice and tidy toilets, cons would be: no option of the usual wetherspoon's cake with vanilla ice cream, and being crowded at the time, except for that had a lovely time with friends
A. A.
Had a great curry & real ale here. Friendly & speedy service.
J. K.
Your typical weatherspoons. Was hoping the building would of had more of the original cinema features but all in all good customer service and reasonable prices for the location
A. O.
Very cool experience! Loved the app for ordering 👌
A. P.
lots space and plenty seating and staff very nice do such good job ..well done guys not easy job at all stuck behinde bar all night ..will visit aga8n .
R. C.
Great pub. Very big and good atmosphere.
R. T.
Cheap basic pub, but very large.
K. M.
It's ok for cheap drinks and ok food.
S. A.
Beers with pals and Shaheer Zahid trying to impress Omar with his snogging skills on a petite "Persian". ;)
H. K.
Cheeky Wetherspoons in Soho, good to break up some shopping around the area or between visiting tourist locations.
O. “. d. t. S.
It was cheap & cheerful & packed! It was good for a "one for the road" drink!
K. M.
Great place to come and have unlimited coffee or pespi while wife shopping in Oxford Street in Primark, Zara, TopShop, Next, Uni Qlo.... A nice place to rest and NOT shop :-)
D. O.
Same old same old....always one nearby, quick service, fine value and satisfying food. What's not to like.
b. b.
Not bad, not particularly clean.. loos not great..beer ok though
L. A.
Chiken tikka masala, amazing with garlic Naan bread.
Mixed Large Parrilla.
J. R.
A great bar, with great people and fantastic prices!
J. 0.
Busy , noisy , seating is a bit tight but the food was good and staff friendly...
M. D.
Heaving on a Saturday night. Table space hard to find. App works fine.. Drinks delivered in OK time.
M. L.
Good bar service and easy to order food
B. R.
Of the two 'spoons in the area - along with the Moon Under Water, the Montagu Pyke is definitely the better of the two. It is bigger, allows bigger groups, seems quicker (there are more staff by the looks) and is in a much nicer building - a converted venue/music hall.
Due to the floor space available, COVID precautions have been taken seriously here and done well.
I have never experienced issues with the drink/food that I have at some other 'spoons and this is aided by the friendly staff here.
J. W.
Lively and busy, but still a personal sort of atmosphere.
P. S.
Nice pub... you can see the history it has left behind. Credit to 'Spoons for keeping the interior features
A. P.
Fantastic service in a very busy pub on a Saturday evening.
I. C.
Nice venue but food come out and was cold but staff sorted out the problem with out a problem
B. C.
Cheap & cheerful. Get what you pay for. Stella went down a treat.
A. G. (.
Good night, great service. But lots of people walking around with no masks. One point 12 people round a table. Food was great. But didn't feel COVID safe. End of night was forced to leave my table and go to the front of pub and forget social distancing for the last 20 mins, made to stand with loads of people round me finishing pint at just gone 9.30pm. But on the whole good pub.
A. R.
Less busy than usual and table service was great
k.
Classic Weatherspoons only issue is the toilets being up 3 flights of stairs
S. R.
It's big and good ... Really liked it ! It's cheap as well
P. B.
Myself and a couple of friends visited the day before London entered Tier 3.
The pub was busy. The food was well tasty and the ale in top condition. The staff were coping admirably 🙂🍺🎶🎵
S. S.
Nice place to go for a drink and relax with friends or just by yourself.
T. B.
Was a nice atmosphere friendly staff. Would go again if in town
P. A.
Basic, but clean pub in central londn. Not overly comfortable but has decent loos. And the service is very efficient.
T. H.
Cheap, cheerful, convenient pub in Soho. Not smart or exclusive but I always go there. Good staff and table service. You can get a pint for;less than the price of a Pret coffee?
R. S.
Great service and surprisingly the food was very good.
D. V.
Excellent location for a pre drink before a night out in central London, very reasonabley priced, great choice of food for lunch or dinner
S. H.
Always had some quality times here sipping down the bevvies or eating some good quality food. The place was usually heaving with a good selection of people. The staff are usually pretty decent. They also served my fave kind of Belgian Beers, which is always a huge bonus for a Bar or Pub in my eyes. The place is also large. Decent venue. Recommend.
M. H.
Very prompt service even when busy. Staff keep the place clean and tidy. It is an interesting building being a former cinema. Can get very hot and stuffy.
J. F.
Busy spoons but great staff and very hard working. A credit to the company
L. T. H.
Great pub in a great location. The place can be difficult to navigate, but the balcony seating gives a great view.
M. M.
Good location, fast service. Good place for drink and dinner if you are in London
J. M.
It's good good, just good with some waiting time. Not very much for Vegans. Many tables to sits. You can order using phone application.
J. V.
Very nice pub with good options of beers and with great price for the beers and for the food! Aditionally it's the place where it was the last place of the famous marquee club from 1988 until the midle of the 90's.
P. W.
What can you say.
I had a decent steak and a beer at a decent price
C. S.
Wonderful building, but still Spoon's at heart.
A. N.
Pretty busy but to be expected for the cheap price of drinks and the location. Their soda water was flat or off on the first go but the second time around it was fine. Hard to find a seat on a weekend to be prepared to move in quick once people leave. Possibly prepare to fight
R. A.
This is a great place to come when there are big events like Wimbledon. One of the cheaper places in Central London for a drink
J. B.
Brilliant place drinks are cheaper being the West end
W. T.
It's a decent spoons, only thing that makes it bad are the rude security
J. W.
Busy pub okay prices, large seating area and served very fast.
I. M.
Harmless enough Weatherspoons pub. Loads of history (used to be the Marquee Club).
R.
big and nice pub. thanks weatherspoon.
S. P.
Great pub, perfect for large groups. In the end, is just a spoons, but considering it's central long, it's good for the wallet 👌
C. S.
God !!! I never realised this Wetherspoons enterprise was located on the site of the once famous & World renowned old "Marquee" music venue.
It was my first visit here, as a pub, but it had all the atmosphere & fun that …
L. J.
Good, fast, friendly service. My burger was a little dry and didn't have the sauce in but when I put my own sauce in it was very tasty.
N. P.
My fave pub in central London
D. W.
Love the wetherspoons breakfast
S. B.
This place always seems to be full in the evenings. But I always manage to get a table. Quick service, slightly more expensive but to be expected for the location.
W. P.
Is a big and busy Wetherspoons; but is much cheaper than most of the other pubs in the area. This isn't likely a place you'll want to spend lots of time, as there isn't much atmosphere, however you can get a meal and a pint for half the price of nearby options.
c. b.
Good food great prices nice atmosphere.
K. M.
Great place to come and have unlimited coffee or pespi while wife shopping in Oxford Street in Primark, Zara, TopShop, Next, Uni Qlo.... A nice place to rest and NOT shop :-)
m. “. c. c.
My favourite pub ever! Could be a little busy during the weekend but beers and food is nice and cheap as well. I would recommend for a pit stop while exploding soho nightlife.
b. d.
A brilliant venue but yet again slow service
M.
The better wetherspoon out of the two. Charing cross road, near Tottenham CT road station. Nice security staff, very professional.
c. b.
Good food great prices nice atmosphere.
J. J. H.
Great dinning area, amazing selections of drinks and good food. Wonderful staff specially Daro on the bar.
R.
Huge space with lots of tables and decent enough food. Everything was a bit sticky tho (tables, floor, ketchup box etc)
L. A. d. P.
Very nice pub (for a Spoons), quick, friendly service. It's a deceivingly big pub. Looks small on the outside but has loads of seating inside (for a London pub). When I went with about 8 mates, we didn't battle to find a table but it was quite full with a buzzing atmosphere- this was around 10pm on a Wednesday evening. The ladies loos are on what feels like the 7th floor and reasonably clean, other than that no complaints.
V. T.
Busy atmosphere, decent food and fair alcohol prices as for weatherspoon at this location
D.
Standard spoon but absolutely huge inside
C. C.
Beer good choice nice food
j. w.
Bit like a hard rock cafe but a third of the price
S. B.
This place always seems to be full in the evenings. But I always manage to get a table. Quick service, slightly more expensive but to be expected for the location.
H. P.
Fantastic Spoons. Lovely venue full of pop memorabilia. They have organised it really well for Corona so you can feel safe while enjoying your favourite brew
D. M.
Nice beers and good atmosphere. Issue was there wasn't enough priority from the staff. Randomly walking away to collect glasses when the bar had a load of people waiting to order drinks. Surely it is better to give the customer service and then when there are less people waiting to be served clear the glasses, which was a situation about 30 minutes later
A. C.
Quite pricey for a spoons, very busy and closes early
S. S.
Classic Wetherspoons pub offerings with a nice twist with the venue previously being a cinema. The venue itself has ample space and is definitely a nice touch; I like to come here when I'm around the area. Great ordering via the app as per usual; staff are efficient and professional. Also the value for money is on point, more so if you go for the deals with drink being included. Just that the food itself is nothing special, the same as you would expect - which is good in itself.
A. A.
Great idea to have unlimited refills for hot chocolate/coffee/tea... for just 99p.
A. C.
Jacob was a very good waiter and delivered our drinks quickly with a professional manner. He is also a massive legend.
D. W.
Spacious Wetherspoons on two levels. Prices are higher than in most of the chain but are still excellent value for the heart of the West End. Can get very busy in the evening.
M. B.
Had an enjoyable hour here away from the bustle of Oxford Street.
B.
Great whetherspoons used to be an old theatre or cinema by the looks of it. Modern and lively.
M. M.
During lunch hours there is a bit of a wait for food. But overall service and quality is spot on and what matters the most for travellers food is reasonably priced.
N. G.
Staff weren’t particularly friendly when requesting more sauce for my chips. But it’s a Spoons! What did I expect. Really large venue and always busy so if that’s what you’re looking for then worth the visit.
L. C.
Much larger than other pubs in the area as it's a Spoons. Decent compliance with Covid measures. Good cheap food and drinks. Subtracted a star for general treatment of staff in the company.
T.
Nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Pints or real ale from £3,65, and were stone throw away from Oxford street. :)
Food was good standard also, big portions, and most of them even had drinks included. We were 4 people, and our total bill including starters, mains and drinks was only £48!
Will definitely visit again when I need food and drink at this part of London.
A. F. (.
The pub is nice but the food is a joke
K. T.
It was good to get a good pint of John Smith's in London.
A. P. M. -. H. m. o. S.
Alright place for a starter drink on a night out but not a place you want to be there for hours
J. T.
Seemed ok for a Wetherspoons.
Formally one of the old Marquee locations
J. S.
Its a weatherspoons. Cant really go wrong can you!!!!
K. G.
Typical Wetherspoon pub just a short walk from Leicester Square. Good food at great price (visited on steak Tuesday so 2 steak dinners and a bottle of rose for £26). Great value. Polite, friendly staff and prompt service.
J. H.
Clean and efficient, but a million steps up to the toilets!
J. C.
Very busy Wetherspoons, but however is much cheaper than most of the other pubs in the area. Great place to pop into before the theatre or a bite to eat but wouldn’t want to spend all night here.
T. R.
Nice pub cheap drinks friendly staff good atmosphare friendly staff nice food as well
B. L.
Exactly what you'd expect from a Spoons - good prices
D. P.
Despite being quite a large pub it feels very snug and personal. This used to be the Marquee club which hosted many well known bands in their early days. Food is good and the prices very low considering the prime location it occupies.
K. J.
The best wetherspoons I have ever been to. The drinks are a bit more pricey than other wetherspoons I have been too but the service makes up for it. The security even watched our drinks so my friend and I could go smoke! Definitely would come again
H. C.
Probably the best place around to have a drink
8. R. p. U.
Great weatherspoons order drinks on app came quick 5*
K. D.
super fast delivery of drink brought online through app!
R. M.
Do you like beer?
Do you like cheap beer in central London?
Do you like having a fighting chance at finding a table?
Rejoice, it’s a massive ‘Spoons in zone 1!
It doesn’t have any atmosphere. The food is generic. It’s not classy, but neither are we. Who cares when you can get drunk for less than £5 a pint?
J. S.
Cheaper than other pubs in the area. Able to order food via app. Loads of space if not visiting during prime drinking hours!
B.
Great place to start off a night in town. A fantastic selection of beers, probably the largest in central London. Bonus being this establishment is a Weatherspoons chain so prices are very reasonable.
K. G.
Big spoons, always busy, fast service and has music in the background
N. P.
My fave pub in central London
B. P.
Would be great to watch the football with the massive screen
M. L.
Really nice food and good value for money
D. B.
Nice beer. With good memories of gigs!
J. L.
I'd been this pub many times but never had food before I tried it for the first time. We had chicken tikka, fish and chips and a burger. They met our expectation. No need to mention their good selection of draft beer
R. S.
Really good service.
A. G.
Used the app to order dinner for 3.
Speedy service and food was great.
My 5 year old daughter ordered the ice cream with fruit salad and it was a huge portion.
Table was sticky / dirty but it was very busy.
G. G.
Standard weatherspoons type affair. Cheap, especially considering London prices. Actually a great election of different beers/lagers plus the usual spirits. Can get very busy at night but quiet during the day/evening.
O. B.
Too busy always on a Saturday night, so don't expect getting a table easily, but good selection of beers and wine at wetherspoons prices. Overall a good place for pre-dinner/theatre drinks.
R. K.
-Relatively cheap and big-
In central London you can't really find something cheap, however, this Wetherspoons is a good choice to safe some money in this pricey area. I adore the price of 7.75 pounds for a chosen burger and an alcoholic drink.
Although a friend and I went there on a Saturday, we got a table after 5 minutes waiting due to the size of this pub. Unfortunately, the table and the menu cards were quite dirty. But I can understand that as it was really busy.
The food however arrived very soon and we could enjoy a big, warm burger with chips. We couldn't eat and try out more things as the plate was properly filled. So I'd say it's a good deal!
m. b.
Been here many times over the years and and I've always enjoyed it there. Big bar and with a great atmosphere and everyone who ever goes there seems to be friendly. Good venue too for any of the England games!
A. S.
The drinks aren't as cheap as they could be, and the food is microwaved, but you can't complain about the size of the place (good odds of actually getting a table in a Soho pub!) nor the range of options behind the bar.
If only you could shake the feeling that this former legendary music venue used to stand for so much more than £5 pints and Brexit propaganda, you'd have a reliable Soho local, instead of a very guilty pleasure.
G. S.
Standards are going down at this pub. Mainly a staff issue. A lot of new young servers and bar staff. They struggle with English and have little experience. So, service is slow, food is cold or wrong and quality of the pub grub has dropped. Good location and has good food/drinks deals.
2.
Just been here for a Thursday curry club with my team and we love just how much we can put on the plate with just a tenner.
Some might not like the smell here, but if you a regular pun goer and beer smell then you'll have no issues
S. R.
Great for inexpensive meal deals. Burger chips and a pint for £8.50 can’t be beat! The food is consistently tasty and the service is always very efficient. Handy for Soho and not at all pretentious like most restaurants in the area.
L. D.
Wetherspoons is always reliable and consistent including in this central London location. Very reasonable prices and a good option to visit before heading to the Prince Edward Theater to see a show. Easy to order food on the app and it was served quickly.
O. e. D.
Lovely burger and chips cheaper than a wimpy and macydee
R. B.
Good service ,food good , just asking for salt &peeper?&stuff like that
J. W.
Good place to go for food after shopping in central London if you want a cheap dining experience &/or quick meal. Food and drinks reasonably priced as is expected at wetherspoons pubs and service was prompt from ordering on the app.
J. M.
Cheap drinks and food.
Close to theatres, shops ..
K. N.
Everything to expect from the ever popular Wetherspoon chain of pubs in the UK.
Good selection of beers, reasonably priced, and a menu with decent value food.
This particular branch is well located in Tottenham Court Road. It's close to the tube station and even closer to London's vibrant Soho area and colourful Chinatown.
It's a pretty big Wetherspoon with 2-floors, but still busy particularly later in the week after 6pm. You will find a seat, just have be patient and you'll be rewarded.
Nothing wrong with this Wetherspoon. A great place to grab pint before home time.
E. H.
Most of our full English was cold. Fried egg was rock solid. Weren't given milk for tea/hot chocolate and had to specifically ask - to be told to ask at the bar. Service was poor and staff were unhelpful. For what we paid we didn't enjoy it at all.
R.
I think what brings people here is how cheap the drinks are. Food is ok(ish), but at least the show the calories of all the meals. Staff is very friendly and polite. Overall not a bad place where to spend a couple of hours chatting with your friends.
R. P.
Typical Wetherspoons pub, however it is in a great location to have drinks before moving on elsewhere. The place is absolutely huge! Which means you're likely to find a spot to sit with a group as people come and go. Good choice of drinks without the city markup!
O. F. G.
Good atmosphere and yes i could have a decent conversation with my friend without so loud music.
E.
To start off I'll go on record saying this is a biased review (I'm from Northamptonshire). When I came to this Wetherspoons with a couple friends the place was absolutely packed, being a Saturday night in London I wasn't particularly surprised by that. We weren't able to find any seats at all so had to stand as it didn't look like people were going to be leaving anytime soon.
The other issue I found was the price of a pint here, in Northampton it's half the cost for a pint of Fosters in this place (£4.50) which I pretty much expected due to its location.
A. C.
This is a fairly standard weatherspoons but does a decent variety of drinks for a reasonable price in this part of London.
It has good space and made a great spot to meet up with a large group of people for drinks which can otherwise be tricky in this area.
G. G.
Great pub in soho beer good staff excellent
A. C.
They have many types of beers, so that's a plus. Did not try the food, but it didn't tempt me too much either.
C.
Longest pub I've ever been in, best boozer with 3 miles of Carnaby Street, which turned out a lifesaver for about 40/50 of us at the beginning of September. Shanghai gang represent
R. G.
Huuge Wetherspoon in the Center of the City! Good Prices for the location, friendly staff, food and drinks can be ordered via App on the phone. Night time on the weekends it can get pretty busy.
R. R.
Super busy otherwise great
S. L.
Service excellent, food not so.
N. J.
I'm not a huge fan of Wetherspoons but the selection of beers on offer here is huge and included a couple of decent low-alcohol options. Table service via the app was quick and easy.
T. F.
great Wetherspoons in a historic building it was once the location for the famous Marquee Club -gets very busy but you get served quickly =bring your id they are very strict i am 62 and always get i.d'd
M. J.
Awesome place great staff and great tasting beers.
G. M.
Nice - Converted old music venue
k. m.
Called for breakfast, not the best, cold and crispy
N. K.
This establishment shld be a benchmark for other wethersoons, absolutely run like clockwork, clean and staff so very friendly, elephant and castle take note
a. c.
Very few English speaking staff
T. E.
A super central London Wetherspoons. The best value for money drinking and dining.
P. B.
Myself and a couple of friends visited the day before London entered Tier 3.
The pub was busy. The food was well tasty and the ale in top condition. The staff were coping admirably 🙂🍺🎶🎵
O. e. D.
Lovely burger and chips cheaper than a wimpy and macydee
T. H.
Cheap, cheerful, convenient pub in Soho. Not smart or exclusive but I always go there. Good staff and table service. You can get a pint for;less than the price of a Pret coffee?
S. L.
Went here on NYE and it had a lovely vibe to it and a good crowd and the drinks were decently priced. A bonus would be a dance floor created with the space in the middle of the floor. Worth a visit!
J. R.
The pub seemed very dark for a wetherspoons but the food and drink was served very quickly
A. S.
Good food, fast service.
C. B.
Extremely busy. Atmosphere was good.
J. H.
Lovely building. Staff generally attentive and pleasant. Food is reasonably priced, as are the drinks. Service is good. Gets busy with football. Offers the same menu as other Wetherspoons, but obviously London prices.
j. b.
A branch of Wetherspoons, it's quite good. A nice place to catch a drink. Had food here on previous occasions & the food is pretty nice. It's not super fancy but compared to other places in central London it is decent and the prices are ok.
Good to go in groups here.
s. b.
It's not bad for a wetherspoons, very cheap drinks and food for such a fantastic Central location... Tables are a too tightly rammed together...! Bar staff (including one of the managers) weren't very welcoming during service but ITS Cheapish...
S.
It's always very busy with terrible acoustics, however for a casual visit with friends, it is fine for a quick drink and some easy food. The food is what you expect from a whetherspoons, mediocre but it gets the job done and they always give you enough to feel full.
L. B.
Standard weatherspoons lots of choice and has a craft beer bar. Had breakfast and it wasn't the best spoons breakfast with over cooked eggs. But it is what it is! No beer before 12 which doesn't happen at my weatherspoons so no hair of the dog for my hung over friends. Cheap alcohol so can't really complain about that. I also couldn't use the app facility here for breakfast.
S. H.
Fast service, great prices
P. M. G.
I am not the biggest spoons fan, great pub though. Friendly staff and great service.
A.
Very large Wetherspoons pub. Potentially a nightmare to find seating when busy, even moving around was difficult with so many bodies.
Took a long time (5-10 minutes) to be served at the bar, recommended to use the app instead.
E. W.
Spoons is known for cheap drinks but here they’re pretty much the same prices as plenty of other places in london, thus defeating the purpose slightly. Almost impossible to find a table even on weekdays, but still a good starting point on a night out as the location is good.
K. D.
If you come here when it is not too busy you will get a superb meal and find the staff friendly and helpful. 14oz Aberdeen Angus steak and trimmings plus a drink for £11.95 on Tuesdays is unbeatable. Understandably it is a bit different when the place is packed out lunchtime and after 5.00 but we have never had a cause to complain when we eat here.
L. A.
Seems to be a popular hang out place for local people. Good price for beer and steak entree, decent portion. Not much waiter service here. Grabbed our own seat and ordered our drink and food at the bar.
J. G.
Excellent pub and great pub food
House of the Marquee
L.
Fantastic value for money , great tasting food, beer and cocktails are delicious! Always a lovely atmosphere, I’ve eaten here about half dozen times and each visit has always been worth it, but can get a bit busy. Be mindful of the staff, not the best customer service which is a shame really as it’s such a great place. Other than than can’t fault this little gem of a place.
R. H.
It's a Wetherspoons.. so it's got all your basics of one, usual menu etc. The staff are nice here, it's very big and also always busy. It's good for if you're in London and want to go on a more frugal outing. They have a huge projector for when sports is on too. It's clean and it's got lots of different levels to it which makes it quite an attractive building when you're inside.
A. B.
I arrived and found a friend had managed to get a table as we intended to eat. He ad been there 15 minutes before me. The previous occupants glasses and litter were still on the table, pushed to one side as no one had cleared it. After about 5 minutes we decided to order food. Just as we started a member of staff picked up the empty glasses. I had to ask him to wipe the table of the previous spillage. He came back within a few minutes and did so. The menu prompts you to use an app to order your food and drink. Fortunately my friend has dined there before and had it on his phone, as I didn't. It turned out that two of the 4 choices of draught bitter (obviously my first two) on the menu app were unavailable. My friends food choice was unavailable, so in the end he went to the bar to order in person. The food arrived fairly promptly and was of reasonably good quality. It was delivered by an Asian man who appeared by his expression to be very unhappy. He did not say anything. Fortunately he put the correct choice of food in front of the person who wanted it. Then left without so much as a blink of human interaction. So all in all, not my worst pub experience. Food was fine, service a bit lacking, place is quite big and noisy when it is busy, as it was tonight. Good job I didn't need to use the loo or this report may have gone downhill. 11.9.19
R. n.
Went here for a proper English breakfast, always good, wakes my son up 😂
I. B.
Good breakfast and dinner at a reasonable price. The place itself is pleasant in design, plenty of space. But in the evenings, of course, it is crowded with visitors and it’s difficult to find an empty seat - the center of London.
T. L.
Very nice Pub in the heart of London! They are part of whetherspoon risto pub chain so it's very cheap have a meal and a pint of beer there respect to other pubs in the area.. Always very busy, the place is huge and with many tables available
Recommended!!
E. V.
Large wetherspoon with large projector screen showing all the important sporting events. Food is nice and well-priced, as are the drinks - unusual for such a central location which is why we typically go here when visiting London.
M. V.
Large pub, good for watching sports on the huge TV screen. It's the last of the houses of the Marquee Club, an important rock venue, some memorabilia still hanging from the walls (a few guitars, drums and pictures). Good beer selection, a bit pricier than normal Wetherspoons, but worth it.
M. S.
Nice place, glad we found it
J. C.
Fast service ideal for quick in and out
M. P.
It's a Wetherspoons right in the middle of London. You're not going to get the Ritz, but why would you expect it? Always found food pretty good, prices a bit more than the average W'spoons, but as I said, it is in the middle of London. Good selection of drinks, ale in good condition. Decent service for such a busy place.
J. C.
Great value for money, friendly service
D. R. C.
A fun place, close to all the SOHO and theatre action but at Wetherspoon prices. Meaning a good spot for a pre or post meal drink.
Located in the building that once housed the famous Marquee Club music venue (read the history just inside Tottenham Court rd entrance)
For a bit quieter table, try up by the smaller bar near opposite entrance, or to sit and view it all, grab a table right up on the mezzanine.
Table service now available with their app. Great for busy times of the night.
A. N.
Interior design was nice, service was okay.
M. D.
Not a bad place to have a drink
J.
I’ve been here many times over the past 10 years. An XXL wetherspoons pub, with a huge selection of drinks. Queues not very long even on a weekend. Great place to start off a night in London.
M. W.
It's a very good Wetherspoons well managed and quick service at peak times, a very large space formerly the Marquee club so music memorabilia decorates the walls. Plenty of quality well kept real ales (which are constantly changing) typically London Pride, Doombar and Abbott Ale are on constantly plus 4-5 guest ales.
l. b.
Really unique building. Excellent service. Noise reverberates a little strangely so i could hear the people at a table below as if they were speaking into a mic so if you are sensitive to sound you might have to pick your seat carefully. Fairly busy but not to noisy considering. Toliets are up several flights of stairs but there may be another one on a lower level. Drinks are more expensive than in non london weatherspoons
P. T.
Would think rental is reason for higher prices than other Weatherspoons.
P. W.
Its another Wetherspoon pub/restaurant but nothing special tbh looked like it used to be a cinema or old dance hall which was quite special but awful decor such a waste it could be so much more! We went in for lunch but all the seats & tables are on top of each other which I struggled to get to bashing into chairs or people and steps everywhere as I use a stick and yes they have a lift but there is a middle floor I couldn't get too! Wouldn't recommend if you're in a wheelchair theres just nowhere that I saw that you could comfortably sit as either high tables and stalls too close together or a step up to booths that you wouldn't be able to get to!
J. C.
Good beer great service
M. S.
Bit pricey, Stella was £4.85
K.
One of my favourite Wetherspoons in London. Good food bad service
L. S.
Great spoons, massive, loads of seating, exactly what you want from a central spoons
E. N.
Great example of a wetherspoons. Massive inside, cheap and cheerful food and drink. Not where you will impress a date necessarily but a top place for drinks or food without breaking the bank. They have sports screens too. England matches are great watched here (when we aren't losing to Iceland)
C. R.
My advice... get there early. Even on weeknights, you'll find it hard to get a table. The service is good and the food is quite decent for a Wetherspoons. Drinks are well priced, again, because it's a Wetherspoons! The decor is pretty cool, though, and it's a good place to relax after a day of shopping in central :P
S. P.
Good pub, good selection of ales. Very good service.
P. C. (.
Can't go wrong with a good spoons. Good price pint for London. Busy Saturday afternoon atmosphere that was enjoyable. Waitress has a proper grump on though.
C. H.
Nice venue, prices are slightly higher as the pub is in the West End of London.
Only thing I'd like to see change is when ordering food and drink using the app that the drinks arrive a while before the food.
M. B.
This place is one of my favourites pubs in central London. I mean, there is nothing I would write home about, however they have wide selection of beer and food was always nice. No matter when you come here, the place is always busy, so better reserve a table. Prices are very reasonable for the location.
K. G.
Typical Wetherspoon's. Shame there's no security to keep the trouble out but cheap and easy pint? head in
A. C.
Huge sport bar with multiple LCD screens and projects showing the latest sporting events around the world. Can become incredibly busy during large sporting events like champions league and premiership football. Menu has recently been upgraded and the quality of food has improved. The £5.39 burger, fries & drink is an unbeatable offer.
G. F.
Stopped off for a drink and something to eat before going theatre. It's a very busy and lively Wetherspoons. Good choice of beers. Food was really good. Service was good. Definitely no complaints.
s. c.
Lovely place staff really friendly
A. A.
Loved the idea of craft beer bar and options in there. The main part is crowded and busy, so wasn't very cosy, but the craft beer side was nice and you can sit and chat by the pint of beer. Prices are good too, but that's what it is in most Wetherspoons pubs.
J. C.
Nice pub and priced well
B. T.
This is a Weatherspoons and as such you shouldn't expect too much in the way of atmosphere or clientele. You come here to meet friends before a night out for cheap beer. The beer selection is good, and food is cheap, if you like to eat that type of generic pub food.

This is a very big Wetherespoons in the middle of the West End of London. It's in the old Marquee club building. There's little natural light so fairly dark inside but the atmosphere is good. It's a Wetherspoons so always a good range of beer which is well kept. Prices very reasonable for London.

Can get very busy. But pop in for breakfast for quick service. It's the old marquee club with lots of musical history. Just down the road from the amazing Yamaha shop and not far from Denmark Street.

Went for a Tennessee Burger and a Pint (£7.95) and it was worth every penny. Cheaper than other wetherspoons I've been to and very well presented, lovely staff and atmosphere. Food came in 10 minutes despite being full and I was greeted with a full burger cooked to perfection with beautiful chips and onion rings and accompanied by a gorgeous salsa and a Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce to absolutely die for (I'd give it 6 stars if I could) very very highly recommended

Still decent prices or London very quick to get my drink and food and looks nice too.

Formerly a cinema, built by Monty Pyke. Two tiny entrances unfold into huge theatre of bars, tables and revellers. A drinkers pub but hugely popular with the soho crowd. Satisfying venue regardless of what type of pub you like. A great and cheap place to start the night, before you explore Soho

Cheaper than most places and plenty of food for your money. It's usually very busy at lunch so it can be hard to get a table for a bigger group without shuffling tables around and borrowing chairs.
The food is as you would expect from a Wetherspoons pub, but it's relatively cheap so I can't complain.
Theres usually a good selection of beers and guest ales, and the guest ales are included in the food deal for food and a drink.

Good food & good selection of beers and close to all the shops especially the M&M Shop. Weatherspoons is great for having it's Beer Festivals now and again which introduces different range of beers & ales. Great selection of rums, gins, Whiskies & vodka. If you are vegetarian you can get food like vegetarian Wellington (wish they would do the Yorkshire puds) veggie burgers to name a couple. 😀

Big space and reasonable prices (west end) Wetherspoons.
My only negative would be the location of the toilets. If I had been seated upstairs I would have been a little bit put out by the continuous stream (no pun intended) of toilet visitors traipsing up and down the stairs and past every single available table.
