Reviews of Nags Head, Covent Garden
R. R.
PIning for a crusty roll and some SOup, if only to rest our feet for a while, we were welcomed here. This is a great spot, just up from Covent Garden, where you can sit down and watch the world (well, tourists) go by. A proper British boozer.
M. P.
Wow, what a find! If you want action, dine downstairs. But if you want good food in an oasis of calm before your show, dine upstairs. It's fabulous with great food. Well recommended.
P. C.
Very pleasant venue, "traditional" bar and seating area, wide selection of drinks on tap as well as bottled ciders. Food also available that judging by a table near me looked very tasty, and sizable portions.
L. W.
Nice pub. Great location. Good choices of beers, wines and spirits. Food available. A great evening, afternoon or lunchtime out.
L. O.
Went in yesterday for lunch marvellous very friendly staff and lovely food and very good prices 🍺🍺
C. J. L.
Where I tried McMullen ale for the first time in life.
After long walk in London as a visitor, this is a perfect stop for break with some pints.
Foods are also highly recommended to try.
K. C.
Whilst I only have a beer here, this is a really nice authentic English pub. The decor of this building adds to the authenticity. There are a bunch of different drinks available on tap. The staff here are very attentive and we had a wonderful conversation. I would certainly return next time I'm in the Covent Garden region.
O. L.
Absolutely awesome place. Visited it by recommendation of a friend that lives in London, and I know why he recommended it. The atmosphere is remarkable. Something that people in UK do not really appreciate, is that their bars, I clouding this one are more than a 100 years old. Good kitchen, as far as I may judge, had only fish and chips there, and it was good. Strongly advised!
D. T.
A traditional London pub with a wide range of beers, wines and more. Situated close to one to Garden Market. Poplar with visitors. A simple pub menu with most tastes catered for. A pleasant atmosphere with lovely staff to look after you. Worth a visit.
p. M.
Good pub great selection of beers wines and spirits also dose food but not eaten in there for quite a while. Great service some times have a job to get a seat
T. T.
Nice pub with an old school feel inside. There is plenty of outside seating. Polite and friendly staff on our visits.
T. M.
Ran in to grab a drink with my boyfriend while we waited for the rain to stop. Super busy and still very fast service! Staff were very friendly and mulled wine was great!
K.
by far the best bitter in London! 💪🏼👊🏼
… going for another one 🍺
S.
Great pub in the heart of Covent Garden. Although it was busy on a Saturday afternoon they had plenty of staff and service was spot on and friendly. Nice mix of real ales to choose from and a really smooth cloudy cider. Will definitely return on my next visit.
A. F.
Liked this traditional old pub in Covent Garden.
Went years ago in the summer and everyone spilled out onto the streets.
In winter it’s a nice place for a pump ale. The bitter they brew is fairly standard, but goes down ok.
A good place to start your night
R. P.
The theatre is lovely a beautiful building, we stupidly bought half priced tickets which were front row: row AA; restricted view definitely, you could only see actors at front of stage, you didn't become absorbed in the production as it was just too close, theatres are taking the mick, we know they are trying to recuperate money from a poor year, but almost criminal selling these tickets, a shame as a fab production 😡
s.
Lovely quaint pub off a Hampstead side street, beautiful food. Well presented and really accommodating staff! We will come back!
F. D.
Wife and I were in yesterday lunchtime. Excellent service and great food. Well done guys. 👍👍
P. C. (.
Staff were brill and the inside of the pub is lovely and in a great location so really worth a visit if you're in the area.
B. E.
Great place, had the vibe I wanted for midweek drinks with a friend
E. P.
Food excellent, staff are very polite, inside and outside of the Nags Head is very clean, price s also very reasonable for the location, I would always recommend a visit to the Nags Head if in the area
R. G.
This is a nice traditional English bar, selection of beers is average and the norm.
It serves food which is reasonable priced and again just traditional British deep fried pub grub.
Plenty of seating room with a hotshot bar so easy to gain access and get a seat.
C. K.
Traditional London pub with a good selection of beers. Always call in for a pint when passing.
A. M.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and even though we didnt eat here on this occasion the food looked great .. we will return soon to give the food a try!!
R. H.
Sat outside a nice enough McMullens pub. waitress was very attentive.
McMullens IPA was standard at best. The Chicken BLT s were good value and quite good.
Would have been better with an extra layer of bread. A few too many slippery ingredients for a normal sandwich!
M. D. (.
Solid pub grub... And nice atmosphere. Wine a bit on the expensive side £10 quid for a glass but then again it's London and Covent Garden so to be expected I suppose. All in though nice food and quiet upstairs!!
R. H.
When we were here it was absolutely packed. It was a cold day outside and had started to rain. As soon as we arrived inside we were greeted by the lovely staff. Although busy we were served very fast and am very glad we went here
S. B.
Great pub in the heart of Covent garden, they serve food upstairs which has some great brunch options like pies, chicken dishes and burgers, not to forget fish n chips :)
M. C.
Food was good but top crust on the pie was a tad to hard for my liking but that's a personal preference. Would've preferred a more congenial atmosphere but restrictions are still in place so I'll accept what we had. I'll still come back here because I was served well even though I was a solo traveller. I felt safe and comfortable. Some places ignore solo's these days or make them feel unwelcome, but not The Nags Head. From the first email I sent, to Will's reply, I've felt welcomed and my custom appreciated. The staff were friendly and professional. I felt like I was someone special. Can't say much more than that. A good job well done 👍👍
M. O.
Always warm and friendly, as i struggle with the stairs they always accommodate and let us eat in the bar area. Food is always top notch.
A. T.
A fine traditional pub with a Victorian/Edwardian interior. Service was good - Ham & Mustard sandwich with chips, was delicious. Service good but a little pricey.
O. H.
Nice food, very filling, awesome view from upstairs. Chips a bit bland but otherwise good.
P. H.
Been coming here for many years, lovely service and McMullen country bitter is my favourite bitter in the UK as the pub is too, always lovely service, good bitter and great food. Came in yesterday when it was very busy but they found me a table straight away. See you guys soon live in Weymouth in Dorset, but will be back.
G. R.
Fast and friendly service with a smile, it's back to busy and as far as I am concerned thats a great thing.
Well worth it to pop in.
D. W.
Maybe it was the time of year .Restaurant full like all the other eating houses. Try again in the new year. If Boris let's us .
A. A.
Nice pub old time pub nice staff .loved the hanging flowers outside 😍
T. C.
Dog friendly.
Good food.
Nice staff.
P.
Traditional London pub. Not changed much over the years and that's just how I like it! One of the few original Covent Garden landmarks left.
A. C.
Lovely and cozy pub, the only one open until 11pm in Covent Garden area with more than a seat. Beautiful interior and friendly staff.
R. B.
Nice victorian pub, good beer, well kept, has the feel of constancy about it...i am sure its was not quite as well kept in the 70s when the market was active, and very probably kept different hours...its conviently close to the tube, and a very handy and welcome bolt hole while the women folk go shopping, in Covent garden and the seven dials there are only so many twee little shop that a fellow wants to visit.
D. B.
The team at the Nags Head were excellent in organising our booking and nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff on the night were outstanding and friendly, service was quick and the food was excellent too! All in all a great night and looking forward to coming back again!
N.
Good pub for a quick drink in Covent Garden. Nice outside area where you can sit and just look at people walking
V. c.
Brilliant place with amazing vibe and cool drink recommendations by the bar tender.
K. M.
Nice outdoor seating area. I didn't go inside
D. M.
Good beer. Good food. Nice atmosphere in the heart on London
P. A.
Everybody has been there at least once. Lively even in these dark times we have been facing.
L. W.
Lovely burger and sweet potato fries also cocktail was great would recommend 🤗
J. D.
Staff are always helpful and accommodating of those with special needs. Food is good too.
G.
Nice little city boozer. Friendly service. Extensive range of good draught beers.
B. K.
Great pub in the heart of covent garden, great atmosphere.
M. B.
Nice pub, good beer selection and very friendly
J. B.
Typical London boozer ..great atmosphere and beer 👍
J. D.
Great atmosphere. Lovely mulled cider.
M. A.
Good old English pub good beer always choca
I. W.
I love this place. The staff are so friendly. A busy central London pub! Great to avoid the rain, to have a quiet beer, to make new friends, to enjoy a meal. Proper pub grub. Awesome name to for a pub!!! Definite five star overall experience!❤️
i. w.
Busy busy on a Saturday night, as it should be. Handy for Covent Garden and the tube.
S. P. O. D.
We've photographed several events at The Nags Head - love the space, love the atmosphere, love the interior design and especially love the food! Highly recommend it!
S. K.
Good old fashioned pub, with a great atmosphere.
R. J.
Beautiful and cozy place to visit.
M. J.
Great pub and nice food. Will the manager was very accommodating when waiting to be seated and because of this it had become our local!!!
K. M.
Nice outside seating area. Nice drinks.
P. j.
Haven't been there for 30 years, good service and cheaper than my local in Balham.
S. N.
I recently visited this pub (not for the first time) with colleagues. There is a great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and there is a good selection of beer behind the bar.
I always get early as it does get busy ait is popular. Food is served here, although I didn’t eat here, judging by what I noticed being served looked good.
C.
Nice environment, the app menu didn't match the options available. Duno if things had sold out or were never available?
T. M.
Service was quick and drinks lovely and refreshing.
Hubby enjoyed his food chicken skewer, fish and chips not so good..
I. B.
One of my favorite pubs in London, respects the new covid measures so it is a great place to visit, with over 2 meters apart inside. The staff as always is great, a person was being rude by trying to singing opera inside for 10 min straight and they handled it politely without any inconvenience.
V. C.
Not the best english breakfast ive had but it did in a pinch.
B. K.
Great place. We really enjoyed our lunch here and the staff were really friendly.
C. C. (. C.
Nice place but the food is not really good, the burger was quite disappointed, dry meat, no flavour.
C. M.
Right by the tube station. Wasn't overly busy. Large pub with plenty of seating, good selection of drinks and the food is standard..it could have been better quality. Fairy bog standard pub quality. Which is to be expected in a place like this.
Overall, good stop to have a drink and some food before once again tackling the hustle and bustle of London!
D. G.
A typical inviting corner london pub that you find just as you come out of the tube. I was looking for a traditional fish and chips which i haven't had for a year as I have been out of the country. Had to go upstairs to the restaurant as the pub was full downstairs. Comfortably decorated but was refused a nice table and chairs as it was reserved. Yeah! They never turned up!! The fish had more batter on than I personally like and was very crisp and not much fish. The peas were crushed with mint I prefer mushy and the chips were very nice but too many. Still it was nice to be back trying out traditional fish and chips but what a price. That’s london and tourism for you!!
R. K.
Great place drink. Love it
T.
Nice decor & atmosphere. Tommy was brilliant upstairs. Booking again thanks to him. Fantastic!
R. S.
Nice enough traditional pub
S. D.
Really enjoyed it.
Haven't been there for years but as good as ever. Classic pub food. Fish and chips were as you'd expect. Crispy batter minty peas and chunky chios
Good selection of beers but poor cider choices.
B. P.
An amazing selection of beers in a superb location next to covent garden and just outside the tube station.Very lovely staff whose attention to details is impeccable yet very friendly and full of smiles. It was a great and exciting experience coming into this place in the evening towards the year end with all the festivities of Covent Garden and having such a lovely pub just next to the tube station is such a bonus. great location i must say
a. s.
Good prices for London, superb for people watching
P. L.
Would like to thank Danny, fell down a step in the pub yesterday. Danny and the staff were so helpful and kind, he went out of his way to make sure I was OK. Thank you to you and your staff.
a. c.
Good pub, and a good night out
j. j.
Visited before going to a show yesterday lunchtime and had a lovely meal. As we were leaving my partner became unwell and collapsed!! All the staff were brilliant in helping with the situation and we got to see the show 👍so a big thank you to you all 👏
J. M.
Fantastic place to eat and drink 🍸 😋.
R. R.
Great beers in a superb location next to covent garden and just outside the tube station. Served promptly by attentive staff. Would get 5stars but at 1145pm plastic pint pots came out I guess this pub shuts at midnight. Where are all the late night boozers in London? Next stop: The Craft Beer Co.... Open til 1am and a tremendous range for you real-ale fans.
L. C.
Totally recommend this little gem of a pub! Decided to hold our works Christmas Party in the Sapphire Room (private hire for 60 people) after searching for days online for a venue that ticked all boxes! The location is perfectly situated a stone throw away from Covent Garden Station, it's decor is original, modern and the staff were fully accommodating. Charlotte and the team were super friendly, organised and fun! Food was great and the way the team had decorated the upstairs was cosy, Christmasy and welcoming. I would certainly recommend the pub for private hire. The staff in the downstairs main bar were also very helpful. Great atmosphere! Thank you all so much for making Harrods' Bespoke Alterations Christmas Party 2019 a huge success!! I will definitely be back in future.
P. U.
Really nice pub with a friendly atmosphere
N. M.
Lovely pub, food was nice until I found I was chewing on a great lump of plastic. Staff great when I mention it, gave free drinks, very good at dealing with it, but put me of eating the new food they brought out. Shame as a really lovely pub. Do think it was a one off though and these things do happen sometimes.
M. T.
Nice pub, great staff
B. C.
Visited London for the day to see a show and came to this pub/restuarant for a meal. I found the lady who spoke to us (they were very busy and we had to wait, not a problem) to be a bit rude and abrupt but other than that the food was lovely and great value for money, portion size was huge and the place itself beautifully clean and pleasant
R. N.
Good food. Excellent service
L. A.
Reasonably priced drinks. Lively place to meet up have a chat and a drink. Didn't try the food so can't recommend but it looked ok. Toilets ok but not great - lock missing on toilet door which made things difficult. Clean enough.
Y.
Lovely London pub. I only had a cheese and pickle sandwich but it was a very decent size accompanied by a salad. Excellent value for that area at £6.99.
A. D.
Lovely pub, its amazing how old school the pub looks with ale tapes and shaped bar, but take a walk upstairs to the dining/events area and its like another venue, amazing. Great staff and great beers, awesome gin selection too!
S. S.
Nice British Pub in Covent Garden. A quite large choice of lagers and beer in bottles. Also different typical English bites to share. Good atmosphere, quite crowded.
C. D. R.
Nice place to stop for a drink and friendly staff
J. C.
Great location. The restaurant is lovely, great choice of food. There were 6 of us an we had different mains all very happy. We love the vibe in the pub too, staff efficient an friendly.
G. C.
Love this place visit every time we visit London.
Always have the ales and wife has a soft drink as she does not drink as a rule.
In now as I write this and ordered a beer and for a change she had a wine and soda !!!!
Wow come on nags head charged me over £6 for the wine and soda Not on I am afraid
M. G.
Nice pub for a beer after theatre
P. M.
It's an iconic place. Family owned brewery running since many years. However its rather expensive. The interiors are old as well. Overall average experience
T. S.
Beers good, settings good. Burger had one Gerkhin and took longer than the burger for more to come. Extra bread for camembert took even longer.
W. T. Y.
Great pub! Good beer and fish &a chips
S. R.
Awesome pub with great service. We went here for dinner before a stage show, so we didn't have much time. But the staff were accommodating and we got served quickly and managed to make our show on time. I would highly recommend the pie.
J. P.
Had sausage and mash and a few beverages with my girlfriend
Luuuuurvly bit of grub, and had Crabbies gingerbeer!!
Luuuuurvly
Beautiful traditional London pub
K. D.
Went there for a few drinks before heading off to get something to eat. Great traditional pub ground level with dining upstairs. Didn't stay to eat so we don't know what eating there is like but it seemed busy.
P. F.
The service at the bar was good and the staff friendly. The food was a let down. I ordered a burger which was dry and looked like a macdonalds patty. My partner had the steak pie which was below par. I ordered my son the cheese ciabatta and its was truly awful, he said he didn't want to eat it. It didn't smell right and the ciabatta was soggy. The staff asked if the food was ok and we said it was only ok to be polite.
G. F.
Super busy pub, much needed after the stair climb out of Covent garden tube. Always packed, best tip is head round the other side of the bar for best chance of getting a free table
L. G.
Beautiful deco and fantastic food. Michelle and Laura were such lovely servers and kept us laughing. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting London. We’ll be back!
D. M.
Very conveniently situated. Quick service and very polite. Ordered £6.95 BLT sandwich, which was very small with one tiny rasher of fatty streaky bacon, lots of lettace. Rest of plate full of... lettace! So generous with the cheap ingredients. Also ordered sweet potato fries, which were very good and hot and crisp. So mixed bag. Worth a return to check out rest of menu.
N. c.
Excellent food main and desert. Nice selection of ales. I will be back
F. T.
Good food and drinks, friendly, helpful and efficient staff in a busy location. Recommended.
C. B.
The horse shoe bar gives the structure of the building a very spacious feel. Pricing is reasonable and the staff are lovely. A great place to go for a couple pints and a relaxing environment
P. C.
Really friendly staff and a great authentic pub. Didn't eat but the menu looked great. Excellent location.
V. B.
Traditional London pub, bit more pricey as in the heart of Covent garden but still very enjoyabke, asked for a gluten free menú and was pleased with choices, was a great experience and my friend from Wales loved it to
B.
Great for talking to strangers outside but far too loud inside.
D. K.
We ate upstairs and the food was lovely. The food alone I would have given 4 stars, the reason it's getting 5 is because of the amazing service we got. Decor is beautiful too. No negatives and I will be back.
E. H.
Hit and miss food. I had a really tasty buttermilk chicken burger, but the measly portion of coleslaw and chips let the dish down. Meanwhile my dining companion had a sandwich which again was nice, but the salad was a wet mess covered in a tasteless dressing. Overall, more attention could be paid to the sides to create a much better experience.
J. S.
Lovely welcoming pub in the heart of London. Prices not as bad as I thought they would be and prompt service. Had the beers on tap (real ale) which were lovely.
A. C.
Fab pub, really friendly staff 😀
a. s.
Great little pub. Friendly staff. Decent food. With Boris discount very cheap too. Get down there.
J. K.
Nice atmosphere, busy but not tovercrowded. Barman knew his stuff about the various beers on offer at the bar, and offered samples. Settled for the Nags Head bitter, brewed for the pub by McMullens in Hertfordshire. Nice pale bitter, not overly hopped, slightly fruity with a light dry finish.
M. B. B.
A proper traditional pub. Great drinks, great staff & in a prime location in central London. A great place to go for a good drink. McMullen's pubs are very well looked after in my experience.
K. R.
Great pub and excellent choice of beers. Also has a great atmosphere. Been before a couple of times and definitely go again when visiting the area.
A. F.
Stopped in for a Pint...left later after having 3 Pints. Nice pub in Covent Garden across from the Whitehall. Outside area is crowded for smokers and was able to find seating inside. We ordered Strongbow Cider and the bar tender suggested we try Aspall Cider instead. Glad we tried it because it was delicious and crisp.
B. O.
Good London pub that can get very packed with tourists due to location. I must be lucky with this pub as I often find it half empty with plenty of empty tables - a situation that doesn't last long as a rule. Beers are well kept - McMullen's AK and Cask Ale on my most recent visit, albeit expensive. I've never eaten here - I don't even know if they do food! Above average, especially considering it's in such a touristy area.
T. H.
We were in there on Friday 17th June meeting friends for lunch the food was excellent. We had a very warm welcome from Harry who along with Cli & Valeria were fantastic we could not have had better service if we'd been at the Ritz.... We then went down to the pub & spent the entire afternoon the atmosphere was electric & yet again service was 1st class. We definitely come back.

I only experienced the top floor restaurant: I have found it a little bit pricey but on the upside the food is really good, the drink selection is wide and the staff has been polite and helpful to all of my guests. We liked it! For sure, a nice and not too crowded place to have dinner in the heart of Covent Garden.
J. G.
Loved it. Good beer and food
J. M.
Okay selection of beer. Decent food, can have a few tourists in, but you should expect that given the location.
I got great service every time I have been there.
K. L.
Nice atmosphere and good beers but because of its location near to both Covent Garden and the tube station, peak times can become a nightmare and you can wait an age in a queue to get served. There are better alternatives if you're prepared to walk on a little further.
M. G.
Lovely restaurant upstairs, serving lovely pub grub.... fantastic decor, clean, bright and lovely serving staff ( Laura and Michelle...honest friendliness) ...relaxed atmosphere too...would recommend this pub....and will....too anybody visiting Covent garden...
M. O.
Pretty average sandwiches, especially the BLT however the sausage and onion sandwich is a delight.
Prices maybe a touch steep, 3 sandwiches, 3 drinks and a side of chips coming in over £40, however the staff were lovely, especially the bloke serving upstairs.
On reflection i'm 99% sure i was served a bitter over the IPA i ordered, being so thirsty i didnt give it much thought but im certain if i brought it up they would have sorted it without question.
D. S.
Very good sandwich and cider.
M. F.
Nice place, good beer
H. P.
Nice little pub to have a drinks 🍸😀
N. B.
Very traditional london pub. Popular with locals which makes for an authentic and pleasant atmosphere. Wide selection of drinks to try.
D. H.
Typical English pub with typical English food. The pub (downstairs) was very loud and crowded. The dining area upstairs was quiet. Food was okay. Good and friendly service.
D. M.
Decent service in a very central location. Looking forward to attending without social distancing and masks.
M. W.
Fantastic! Traditional London pub. Decent food and drinks and prompt, excellent service. This place oozes character and is a good place to take a breather. Very good!
S. D.
Good beer, good food AND very nice people! I love this typical English pub. Downstairs there is the pub, upstairs a dining room serving the pub food. They have some real English dishes.
D. M.
Great pub ,good service.
S. W.
Nice bar, very friendly, reasonably priced
P. K.
Good traditional pub.
M. S.
We went in for a pint and enjoyed the ambiance. It was not overcrowded, but definitely a popular spot. They serve McMillan's beer and some Bags Head brews.
S. T.
Popped to get a drink before going to watch a show on a Sunday afternoon, was really busy, we had the kids with us and stood on the street. Would be ok out with friends or as a couple but not the place for a family.
S. T.
Nice little pub, food and drink not badly priced for heart of London. Bit of a wait for food (told 40 mins, turned up in 15), but to be expected when busy.
G. B.
Nice atmosphere, good pub food and accommodating staff. Order at the bar (unless your by yourself and afraid to lose your spot when it's busy)
j. b.
Great looking pub, good selection of drinks, only downside is it's so busy it' can be hard to grab a seat. Always good to see a busy pub tho.
S.
Nice traditional pub with ditto food. Staff was friendly but not on top of things they brought us the wrong order more than once. Food was fine.
R. B.
A favorite pub just out the Covent Garden tube station. Great beer and great crowd. Mostly tourists (like me) and it is always crowded. But there is a reason why.
H. K.
Great Ale on tap.
K.
Sound atmosphere. Service was meh and a little slow even though it was quiet but the beer was cold and the glass was clean. Can't complain too much.
J. B.
Nice atmosphere, traditional pub style(ish), food OK but nothing to write home about. Friendly staff and reasonably priced for Covent Garden.
S. B.
Average drinks in a semi traditional environment. Very busy resulting in hurried service.
It was ok but would look for somewhere less frantic in the future.
M. H.
The pub is a magnificent old building , staff very attentive, but the food was a bit inferior, hot food not overly hot, and the chicken was cooked but dry at ends lol plenty of lettuce, the food was just average.
D. M.
Nice friendly place pleasant bar staff after seeing fish and chip portions we will be eating here next time
R. S.
Nice pint, nice pub 👍🍻
C. W.
Nice little pub to stop into after seeing street entertainment. Food is ok but that's expected from pub grub menu
C. Q.
Friendly welcome . nice place
T. S.
Went to London with a friend yesterday (21st August)for a meeting. After the meeting we decided to try and find somewhere to eat. As my friend is coeliac, this does pose problems. After a disappointing hunt in Knightsbridge we ended up in Covent Garden, as we thought we might stand more of a chance there. As we came out of the underground, there in front of us was the Nags Head. We went up the stairs to the restuarant. We asked about gluten free options and were actually given a gluten free menu, with a lovely selection of meals to choose from. AMAZING!!! The staff were great and very helpful. The meal was really tasty and beautifully cooked. Would certainly go again and will recommend it to friends and work colleagues.
D. S.
Fantastic food and a great pint.
A. K.
Covent Garden tube station is a convient place to meet up with friends.
If they happen to be running late, this is a great spot to have a cheeky pint.
The decor is very much "Old Man's Pub", but with that decor goes good service. I'm (for better or worse) now recognised by some of the staff but even before that the service was good.
It dos get *very* busy on Thu / Fri / Sat nights, so a table will be hard to find, otherwise it is quite pleasant to sup a beer whilst your friends arrive.
S. D.
Busy pub outside Covent Garden. Service is ok, but they realistically don't have the time to make your experience better since they have no time apart executing the job! Great beer selection.
J. B.
Great night out, busy, friendly. The Stella was good. The place was clean. The wait at the bar was good considering the amount of people. Recommended!! Staff were great as well.
S. W.
Eclectic pub with good beer and cider range. Interior dated but interesting and friendly service. Pizza very good and nice outdoor area.
J. O.
Great outdoor space. I feel like I connected with the bar staff. It's a perfect spot for a christening, naming ceremony or a quiet night with your secret love affair.
T. S.
Great pub, service excellent
D. G.
One of the best pubs (if not the best) in Covent Garden
T. K. H.
Alright bar, quite decent service, but a bit too much spillage here and there combined with an awful toilet pulls the score down.
The selection of drinks on the other hand was quite satisfactory.
M. J.
Great place and feels the same every visit.
J. H.
Only come here after work because they're open late. Good service and somehow good beer selection (lager on tap) but nothing special.
J. J. G.
Unfortunately this public house gets far too busy for It's own good. The food is well cooked, and a wide selection of beers. Try it sometime (when I'm not their).
P. M.
nice traditional pub good range of beers and the staff are very friendly and don't mind a bit banter either
J. H.
Good old fashion pub, drink a bit pricey, the locals might not mind but for visitors from wales, hence to say we only stopped there for 1 drink
R. P.
Typical British pub, smells of ale was half expecting Barbara Windsor to pop up and serve us, cheap and cheerful food and right in the heart of Covent Garden.....
D. G.
Brilliant Pub,one of my favourites when visiting Convent Garden. Downside men's toilet downstairs, need climbing ropes to get back up.
D. B.
First British pub I ever went to and still a favorite. love the fish and chips. Great beer selection. Friendly staff.
D. P.
Very nice pub close to Royal Opera House, hospitable staff, drinks on the pricey side though. Glad we visited.

A little hard to find a table but good busy spot serving beer that a distant relative of mine used to brew for them!
D. H.
Small friendly pub in the heart of vovent garden popped in with a friend for a quick drink and a quick bowl of chips very nice too and will be back
L. F.
Not a good pub. Staff do not speak good English so if your drink is wrong....tuff!
Strange innit? Return visit and much better. Busy but this is Covent Garden.
L. N.

The restaurant is nice enough with a good view of Covent Garden, however we were nearly late to our concert due to incompetent servers who incorrectly handled a nut allergy.

Busy pub just outside Covent Garden tube station and a short walk from Covent Garden Market. Pint of Aspall's £5.45. Didn't have time to eat but portions looked substantial and diners seemed to be enjoying their food.
