P. M.Nice pub, a good range of beer. Prices are not cheap, but this is London.
The downstairs has little room, 20 people standing or sitting on bar chairs will pack out the area.
There is upstairs seating (with tables), but no bar or service was visible.

A. P.Nice and cozy little pub just opposite the theatre. Good cocktails! Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for pre and post theatre drinks.

w.I love this pub! Great atmosphere and full of Musical Theatre posters all signed by casts current and previous. The bar staff are lovely and attentive. By day this pub is a subtle watering hole, by evening especially when the shows have finished in the area it comes alive with personalities and even hosts comedy nights! For a pub with character this is definitely one of them. Prices are reasonable and there is a wide selection to choose from. All in all a great venue and highly recommended.
D. C.I've been coming here on an irregular basis for many years and have always enjoyed my visits. It's a small pub with upstairs seating (but no bar upstairs) so it can get very packed particularly before performances at the Theatre Royal opposite. Service variable, very much depending on the number of customers. Toilets a bit cramped too. Try and squeeze onto the bay window seat.
R. W.Best pub in town. One of the last proper pubs around. Perfect for a pint before heading to a West End show . If you love theatre this pub which oozes character, history and charm is the one for you. Fantastic staff and an excellent atmosphere.

They also take an interval order and have it ready at the end of the bar. Warm atmosphere and current music! It’s like going to a local country pub in the city centre! LGBTQ2 friendly! 👍🏻
P. D.Ubiquitous beers but somehow charming theatre pub. Various comedy nights upstairs also separate it from the tourist haunts. Retains a traditional feel in the bar downstairs, particularly as the staff are not identikit morern bar workers.

C. G.Great little relaxed pub in Covent garden offering a wide range of drinks on tap and some cocktails.
The atmosphere on a Monday night was very relaxed and every table was enjoying themselves.
Unfortunately they didn't have any garnishes for cocktails but it was late on a Monday.
Highly recommend especially since it can go under the radar and nice relaxed atmosphere
