Night Tales is not for the music heads. If you’re attracted by the bookings and tickets via Resident Advisor, don’t be fooled, what you’ll get cocktails in a plastic cups surrounded by girls and guys doing shots. The Funktion One system was great but battled against chat of the disinterested clientele. Room 2 wasn’t a thing, so felt bad for any DJs booked there. We were told Fat Baby street food is no longer open despite being advertised online and outside signage so we ate elsewhere in the area, a far cry from the options available at the Night Tales of old. The staff were friendly which is rare and the interior design was on point.

Wonderful venue. A number of different sized rooms. Good sizes but also intimate, especially the "club" room. A bar in every room basically. Almost no need for outdoor jackets, even the smoking area was warm 😁👍🏽

I ordered the Paloma cocktail but didn't like it at all and the bartender was super nice about it, I got a Jan Sour instead which I super recommend! I also got a Hop On spritzer which was nice but too low on alcohol for what I wanted. Service was quick and mostly efficient, but we were seated in the smoking area without heaters or the nice decoration, and were quite cold!

Love this sweet spot in Hackney Wick, it gets better each time I go! They've refurbished since I visited last year and the venue looks great. Equipped with two spaces (indoor club room and separate outdoor terrace) two bars, a food vendor, DJ decks, cute fairly lights, this place is an absolute vibe! Would recommend :)

I like this place because they keep the music low enough in the places where you talk and loud enough on the places where you want to dance. Prices are reasonable

Great bar/club with a pizza joint located inside too for when you get hungry - you don't have to leave! Went to see Jody Wisternoff do a 'socially distant' party here and it did not disappoint! Our group was one of the first to turn up and we were unfortunately seated right at the very back with the DJ barely in view and the last sound speakers being 10m in front of us, the sound isn't great at the back. However with the kindness and generosity of the manager Simona (I hope I spelt that correctly) we were able to move to a table in the front section once people had been seated. It turned the whole day around for us and had an amazing time there. The table service was excellent and the staff were marvellous. I can see this place being a real joy to experience once we can dance beside one another.

I'm a hermit, went out for the missus birthday, and this place was lit even for a hermits standards!! Place is a vibe, drinks are decent price, bartenders put good amount of alcohol in, got lick up. Then moved into the club part after and music was house/techno which usually isn't my vibe considering I'm from Burnt Oak but somehow this music had the mandem skanking. Would recommend

Good venue for a day party, friendly staff and a decent sound system. They do a great job of keeping the drinks queues down with three different bars in the garden. All round good day out.

Great venue, lovely staff and atmosphere. Only disappointed at cocktails menu, 9-9.5 each and containing only 1 alcohol. Go for double mixer there as same price :) Rules of social distancing were followed and staff and security were very attentive.

What an amazing space this is, we visited for Rum Spiced Festival and have not been in tbis area before. Rum fest was amazing, the venue is outstanding and the area where it is situated is so wondeful I wish we lived in London.

Night Tales is the type of place that only the cool kids know about. Almost secreted away down an unassuming road and under a railway arch, Night Tales is a half-open/half-closed event space. It's a long venue and great for parties and hanging out with your buds. ANd if you're in a hurry home, Hackney station is only 5 minutes walk away. Perfect venue for catch-up drinks.

Great Venue, I did enjoy the night. The set up was pretty cool & I loved having the Music & Lights. The staff was very Friendly, i must admit they done a good job. However... the payment system was a bit poor. One massive tab to be settled come the end of the night, not ideal at all. I think this must be improved. All in all, a good venue, friendly staff and a good vibe. Peace Paddy.

Oooooo man.... First post-lockdown night out for almost 18months so a little nervous, but an excellent friendly crowd and extremely professional bar and security staff made it all good! Excellent DJ's, music, setup, lights, everything. Loved the venue xxx

Fantastic venue for a socially distanced gig. Couldn't fault it, began from a friendly welcome. Bar staff are amazing and did a fantastic job keeping the drinks flowing as its now table service only. Was worried about the music level not being loud enough but it was spot on. Fantastic day will be back again.

Attended one of their events, the DJ was amazing!! Social distancing between different groups was encouraged. Drinks were standard club prices £9 - £10. Toilets were surprisingly clean. Would have given 5 stars had the managers not told the DJ to stop playing music a whole 50 minutes before it closed, killed the good vibes!

Really fun night, although we paid a lot for our table and were stuck right down the back under a gazebo in the rain. We got all Karen and spoke to the manager and she kindly moved us to right by the bar which was so much better. Good pizza and booze!

Not a bad word about the place. In fact, everything was great and I had the best night I've had in a long time. We had got our tickets in advance to go and enjoy Mayas gig. Situated under a railway added a kind of New Yorkish feel to it with great outdoor space and plenty of seating. Compatible price- wise and friendly staff.. I def recommend.

Considering the latest on social distancing, I cannot fault the approach taken here to keep its customers safe. Seated service and sanitising products available was good to see. Moving away from this , the event I attended was enjoyable, tables set apart well enough and vibes were good

Really like this place - bar/pizza oven/club. You can reserve a table for £10 or spend a lot extra to get a cushioned booth. Heaters are super warm so you'll be toasty. Love the option of the club, which I thought was put up in a cool space, it's in an arch under the overground. Depends on the night, but the night I attended (paradiso) the music was honestly the best music I can remember on a night out. Drinks aren't on the cheap side but they're not super expensive.

The place is a wonderful bar with a terace and nice staff, great pizza. Nice music, good vibes,and the visitors are nice decent people. There is a club inside the venue as well but reopening September I believe because of covid-19 regulations.

Great venue. I came here after I had a horrible experience at a different venue. Staff were super nice. Place is ok. I came for the club which was great. It was a trance event and the music was great. Probably one of the best parties I've been to. Goes to show how even the little things can help you have a great night.

We had a really good time here celebrating our company's summer party. I especially enjoyed the food cooked in their barbecue. The venue is quite long (although it is also very narrow at some points) and has different zones where you can enjoy talking with people, having your food and drinks or dancing.

Really enjoyed it! Excellent decor and installations, also not crazy expensive for what we got. I went as a large group, and the event was a funk-house/techno night. Really nice vibes from the music. The layout is fresh, a lot of it is outside with some overhead shelter. Food courts outside in the earlier parts of the night. Atmosphere was nice, location was quite edgy but also accessible. The second room opened around 11 and the DJs were on point! Also didn't seem like they ramped the prices for drinks too high compared to other club venues in London. Great time overall, would happily go back there.

An okay club where lots of people hang out. If anything there were too many people in the place and I suspect that it would be much nicer in Summer. The issue was that the dancefloor was packed, but the rest of the place was a bit empty. Service at the bars was a bit slow. Well decorated though and the toilets are kept clean. A little off the beaten track, but overall a good place for a night out.

Really amazing club .The smoking area is the best I've ever seen .has so much space and so many cosy tables, sofas and chairs. The actually dance floor is located under one of the railway arches, which creates a great atmosphere. Sounds system is fairly good.

Cool place but probably not for my age. Gets a bit messy at night, I'd suggest drug control to be stricter as it wasn't pleasant after 11pm. Good music and vibes though.

We love the new Night Tales venue in Hackney Central. Amazing cocktails, food and atmosphere and the staff are wonderful!

Nice but male security kept going in the mens toilets and peering through the gaps at guys and then pulling them out and searching and not finding anything. Thought it was a bit strange

The place looks nice and is spacious so you can go in big groups and not feel crammed into a corner. The drinks are overpriced for the quality and the crowd is very chavvy. Overall decent but would not be my first (or second) pick for a night out.
