Went to a private party here and it's a really excellent set up under the railway arches. Fantastic chilled sofa space to sit and chat and then full-blown bar and gig venue just around the corner in the next arch. Noise isolation between the two was perfect and super friendly staff for the function. Can highly recommend!

Monday jazz jam session. Can't get closer to Herne Hill station. Ace location with great atmosphere - shades of 1960s - dark, moody, chaotic seating, tucked away bar. There's a great vibe. I only heard about it by chance. Now I know, I'll be heading back for sure!!

Well hidden venue for small gigs, really good line up when I went. If you want a different night out then come here. Everyone there really gets into the spirit of the night, honestly a breath of fresh air

OTC has a great atmosphere with a small bar and a relaxed lounge with antique furniture. It's the only live music venue in Herne Hill and there are usually live bands almost every night. If you've had enough of the venues in Brixton, it's just around the corner.

Had a really fun evening here yesterday! The place seems to be pretty popular with locals, I think it was just about full yesterday. While they don't have a very wide range of drinks on the menu, what they have is pretty good, and so are their small bites (we had their haloumi fries and chicken wings). Members of staff were quite lovely, too.

Great night. Stepped of the train after work to be met by my beautiful wife, Carmel. We saw there was live music at off the cuff so popped in for a drink or eight.. Great night. Great venue. Great atmosphere.

I have to say, after reading the last review posted, I'm absolute disbelieve of the experience encountered! I've been going to OTC for a long time, and the staff have always been so respectful. I've never actually even seen anyone being rude to anyone! It's such a warm and friendly place. Maybe they were having such a good time, they just didn't want to be asked to leave...… Get over it mate!

I came as a performer, great stage and atmosphere for jazz/R&B/Roots rock reggae however the place is a bit moist and with a lot of people can become about humid

Absolute hidden gem! Two big rooms for partying. Retro games systems in the front. Friendly helpful staff. We threw a birthday party here and they were unbelievablely accommodating. Punk perfection!

A cosy, super laid-back space in the heart of Herne hill, which has some great live music. Unfortunately it suffers from damp, so the air is quite thick with the smell. Also, if you happen to be watching a quiet band the sounds of the hand dryer and overhead passing trains may spoil your experience.

The most fun anyone can have under a railway arch. Located in the pedestrian area around Herne Hill Overground station in Brixton. Some great music, if you love jazz drop in and take in the Monday night jam which starts around 7.30pm. Other music night's throughout the week as well. Definitely a hip new South London scene in the making!

OTC is a hidden gem in Herne Hill - a boutique wine bar, a music venue and event space, it has something for everyone. The place is beautifully decorated with vintage furniture, fairy lights and even has its own arcade games (have a go on the Mega Drive for ultimate nostalgia). Tony and his staff work hard to offer a wide selection of gigs and events across the week, from open mic nights to jazz evenings. Pop down and see for yourself.
