The food is nice and the menu has some variety to choose from. Nothing really special, but nothing to complain neither. Their brunch menu is on until noon and there is a bottomless option since 10hAM until 12hPM for less than 30 quid.

Came in for a beer prices are what to expect in London good choice of beer on tap. Very clean pub if you enjoy sports the had the Champions League on 5 large tv’s around the room. Bar staff very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice layout and friendly atmosphere. Staff are helpful. Good range of beers and two draught ciders. So why the 3 stars? The food quality was variable. My wife's Unruly Burger, she said was delicious. I had the Chicken and Mushroom Pie, which was overcooked turning the crust hard. A pity as the flavours were good. The triple cooked chips were good and again my wife's Dirty Fries were great. I would go back, but I'll rethink good choice.

Great pub. Great food and beers. Nora, Amy and Christina and the others are awesome, so friendly and great service. Love the live music on Thursday's. A regular after work here and I always look forward to going here. Only downside is if you order a spirit you get charged extra for a glass bottle of coke as their pump is broken. Shouldn't be charged extra for your faulty equipment

First real British mean on our vacation. The fish was amazing and the sausage and mash was fantastic. The dining area was clean and the music wasn’t too loud. I thought it odd we ordered food at the bar but I guess that is not unusual. It is now the standard we compare all fish to.

Great Location. It is very close to the metro stop Notting Hill Gate. There was a good atmosphere and the staff was friendly and helpfull. It is the typical English pub. Good selection of international beers: Irish, Spanish and English...it’s worth a visit if you are around Kensington or Notting Hill area.

Food was spectacular. Exactly what you would want in a Sunday roast. Disappointed to find 5 TVs showing the footy (all the same game) and had to beg to get one of the screens to show the rugby (Ireland v Argentina) which they reluctantly did but told we could only watch without sound. So I fixed it myself. Wonder why the other tellys were randomly shutting off. Ironically, once the rugby was on, most people in the bar seemed to be more interested in that.

We visited the Old Swan a few months ago, and we had the best experience. Congratulations to all the staff of the Old Swan who welcomed us with kindness; I am pleased to see how, despite the difficult period that the hospitality is going through, the staff is so motivated, professional, and kind. In addition to the beauty of the location, we found the food excellent and well presented: fresh beers and great taste. We will come back to visit Cristina and her fantastic staff.

Great menu! Seriously, veeeery good food! I wouldn't believe it's even a pub food, if I wasn't actually sitting in the pub. Very fresh, tasty, looking good on a plate, just delicious. The guy which delivered our meals was just a sweetheart, very polite, very caring, all smiley. Beautiful attitude. I think his name was George. He was coming back checking if there is everything all right with our order, if we are happy, if we need anything and the whole atmosphere in this place was super enjoyable. We had absolutely lovely well spended evening, 100% coming back!!!

A rather generic pub in an extremely busy part of London. Around five quid for most of the drinks, so 'standard' ish prices. If you have time it's probably worth trying to find a pub in a quieter and cosier setting- although that's not easy to do in London!

Great pub. Holds up to the greene king standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The selection of food is not very big but the dishes I tasted have all been exquisite and at a very moderate price. the selection of beers cocktails and drinks are vast and can will be more than enough for anyone. Came to this place 16 years ago and got Fish n Chips. All this time I've remembered this place as the best Fish n Chips anywhere in the world. Today I returned and it did not disappoint. Fantastic. Enjoy with a cold beer and you'll be in heaven very soon.

It was my first time visiting London, not as a kid with her parents but as a young adult, and I wanted to try the "adult Londoner life", so I chose this pub and I'm glad I did! Next to Notting Hill Gate tube station, this pub is a nice place with VERY nice drinks. They offer a diverse selection of every sort of drinks: cocktails, beer, gin tonics, rum... They also have non-alcoholic drinks. I went with the Pornstar Martini and the Blood Orange Spritz. I personally enjoy fruity drinks and these two were definitely perfect for me! The staff was nice and offered alternatives when they didn't have the drinks we asked for. The ladies toilets was clean, too bad we can't say the same about the men toilets. I wish people were more respectful in toilets, but in spite of that, it was a really nice pub and I'd totally repeat when we came back!

We go there around 9 pm after a local evening class. We need somewhere quiet to sit and chat, and have a beer, glass of wine, coffee and share chips. Does that fine. Football match on screens, but we can watch it or ignore it. Staff good. Only downside is toilets - 2 floors down in basement and a bit neglected.

I live near here so it's not the review of a one-off visitor. This pub caters for tourists and locals alike. It is, without doubt, the best pub in the area. The staff change and I understand the manager has just changed. Yet it seems to impact little on the quality of the welcome, the attention to detail provided and the product. This is the best place for refreshments in this area
