Great food. Very slow service, over 1h wait after waiting around 20 minutes to be served. Also I know the culture is to eat with one's own hands.....but for the waiter to be touching the food openly with his hands....I find that a bit much. Food was tasty though, others seem to agree. seems to provide a very authentic experience.

Magical, magical place. Get the shiro, the mixed veg selection and the awaze tips. The owners are so lovely and very passionate about what they do. Husband and wife team who import their own teff and injera from Ethiopia (that they also supply to shops) to provide authentic dishes. Best Ethiopian food in London. I feel good every time I eat it. First time having Ethiopian food, I couldn't have enjoyed it more. There are plenty of tasty, healthy vegan/vegetarian dishes. I recommend going for a platter to try out everything and you must try shiro wat.

Orit got me through “veganuary” in lockdown, and then as soon as I could eat meat again, we came back and had their tibs and it was mind-blowing. Consistency is really important in restaurants, and let me tell you, I’ve come back several months later and not only are the vegetarian dishes still exceptional (try the red chilli lentils!) but the tibs were even better than I remembered - so perfectly cooked with a nice spice in the sauce, and served in the middle of the beautiful platter. Teff injera - like proper teff injera - also helps to make this place a must-visit for food lovers.

Such an incredible restaurant; the friendly staff, amazing food including the authentic gluten free teff injera flown in from Ethiopia 3 times per week, so it's always fresh, and you can definitely taste that! The price is unbeatable; £10 for an entire injera with 6 different vegetarian toppings, enough to feed 2 adults! Amazing. I'm coming back for sure!

The food was delicious and the staff was super nice. The mixed platter was a good way to taste different dishes, tho I wouldn’t get that again, because some were definitely better than other. Overall, it was a lovely dinner and will be back. Only thing, I would have loved some more explanations about what I was eating. And I would have loved some more suggestions from the staff, as it was my first time eating Ethiopian. But I’ll be back!!

Never tried an Ethiopian before but I came out extremely happy, we ate a lot, nicely, the owner was very friendly and happy to help in selection, we digested perfectly even if the kind of cuisine can be spicy and hot, spent a very reasonable money. We already came back again!!
