Nice place to chill. I was at an event. Very good service. Well, the place is not very posh and could use some doing up, but it's cosy enough, so give it a chance - you might like it. Otherwise, lots of other places around ;-)

Lovely little place. Buzzing Friday night, with 2-4-1 cocktails during our mini break to London. Tucked away but very easy to find. Table booked in advance. Food available too.

Last week, our running community hosted its seventh birthday party, held at the brilliant Patch Bar, St Paul’s. Between the relaxed, social atmosphere, delicious drinks menu - loving the Patch lager - and welcoming staff, this is simply one of the best places in the area to enjoy time with friends. Safe to say a large handful of us now prop up the bar in the midweek. An absolute must-go whatever the occasion, and the perfect party partner if you’re thinking of organising any events.

Thanks a lot for hosting us every Tuesday, it is really amazing. It’s super cosy for a drink and chat after the running and the staff is super friendly and does a great job dealing with 100+ thirsty runners at the time. I will join as often as I can and I recommend the place.

Great place for after hour drinks, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Spread into 2 different floors with different vibes, beer on tap, but the cocktails are the speciality and the barmen are friendly and experienced. Been here for an event and drinks and always had a great experience.

Wowww, this place, wowww, I have no words to describe it… it's simply one of the best cocktail bars I've ever been to and in a short time I got addicted to it, the service is fantastic, the food 😊😊 that food was very good, just the place in if it's already eye-catching, I recommend it over and over again, simply magnificent!

This is a lovely little venue tucked away behind St Paul's. There is a dance floor on the basement level and then a nice bar on the ground floor level which is a bit quieter if you want to talk.

We had a great night. Patch bar was a nice venue. Pleasant staff, bouncers and bartenders. The venue is split across two floors, we had a reservation for a table in the basement and it's reasonably big. It has a great vibe, everyone was in a good mood. Prices are very reasonable during happy hour 'til 7 but can get a bit pricier past then. We went for after work drinks and I would say it's a great venue for that.

Cannot thank the venue enough. They hosted our engagement party and were so accommodating and friendly and gave us the perfect night. We hired the downstairs part of the venue and it held 120 people perfectly. A special shout out to Renata who organised the entire thing and was so great on the evening of the event! Nothing was to much for her. The space was great, the DJ was amazing and got so many compliments from my guests and the minimum spend was easily reachable and fair considering other places requests in London. If you are looking for a venue to host a great night then I would definitely recommend here. Thank you!

This was VERY CROWDED when we visited - having arrived, we discovered you can (and should) book in advance. The upstairs is very small and the table / chair arrangement not that comfortable - you perch on a chair rather than sit on it. The drinks are expensive but if you come during the happy hour, you can have two of the same drink for the price of one. This brings the cocktails down to £6 each which is OK I guess.

Hired Patch - St. Pauls for my 40th birthday, and all I can say is that from start to finish, they were FANTASTIC. As it was booked for a Saturday night, the bar only holds private events, and that was perfect for us. The bar itself is quirky, fun, and there is loads of areas to sit, chat and chill as well. The dress code is relaxed, so jeans and trainers are welcome. It is large, and can easily hold 150 guests. We were also allowed to bring our own DJ, so the tunes are as you want them :) The bar staff know how to make some great cocktails as well.....basically STRONG!!! The food platters were great. Food came out hot, smelling great, and it tasted brilliant. The Manager, Alex and her staff were great, and I have had plenty of people messaging me telling me how friendly all the staff were there. Alex always kept us informed before Saturday in case of any changes, and she always welcomed any of our suggestions as well. Than you Alex....YOU ARE BRILL. Cheers guys

Great cocktail bar. Pleasantly surprised to find out they also show the World Cup games, it was definitely a great experience seeing England win. Extremely polite and friendly servers and the tapas pizza is delicious. I would definitely recommend the place and since it’s close to work, I will definitely come back.

Great location and very nice staff. My company organized the Xmas Party here and it was really beautiful and fun. Big selection of liqueurs and whiskey. Alex, the bar tender, made our night very nice.

Great array of cocktails and also have a happy hour between 6 and 7 PM. Cocktails were really good and must've had a good few of them as before I knew it it. It was midnight. Orderwd finger food for the team and was really good quality and not just your usual chicken and deep fried things. They also had stuffed vine leaves which are a favourite of mine

Had some delicious after-work-cocktails here. Well hidden in the middle of the charming Carter Lane with its independent coffee and lunch joints, yet so close to busy madness of St Paul’s and Blackfriars. Downstairs is huge and modern, and would be great for a private function, whilst upstairs bar is cosy and fun. The cocktails are amazing, skilfully created by Alex & co. my fav has to be the cucumber and mint gimlet as well as “dr no Bellini”. Chin chin! Oh and did I say that the cocktails are amazing?! 😍

If you are with a big group of people, this could be a good place to have a celebration, and there be enough room, as I don't think it's that well known. My fiancee and I hosted our engagement party with Patch St Pauls over the weekend and were absolutely blown away by the service we received. Paola and her team delivered a brilliant service on the night with very little input from either of us, meaning we could spend some quality time catching up with our guests. The bar is a little hidden away, which actually felt really exclusive, and I had so many people ask how i'd found it and how perfect the bar was. In the run up to the party, Paola was incredibly helpful answering all my questions, even making sure that menu items were adapted so my coeliac partner could enjoy them. The minimum spend required was incredibly reasonable considering the area, and easily met by a party of about 60-70 people. Couldn't recommend this place enough, especially for a private party!

I gave patch a three rating. For a Friday it was pretty tamed in the downstairs bar, come to think of it upstairs bar was too. I guess it was the weather and the fact that most of the city work men and ladies are on holiday; that this place was just OK. Service was good. Friendly staff. Pop in, 2 drinks then go.
