I have had such a lovey experience. At the Perry Hill pub to night. The food was so lovey. The staffe were so helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. I don't think I can eat any more food for a week or so now. Mark out of 10 a 💯

Great selection of drinks and lovely service. Massive garden with a play area and selection of board games available which is a definite bonus when you are coming with a family. Food can be a bit of hit and miss but usually corrected if mentioned (we found kids portion a bit on the small side but when we ordered a second helping they comp-ed it on the bill). They have definitely improved since they opened. They have a lovely range of seasonal events on offer that are usually planned fabulously. They are a definitely gem in the area!

Absolutely love this pub! The new owners have done a wonderful job refurbishing the pub (it is super cosy) and totally transformed the garden into an amazing space including a spectacular play ground. The food is super tasty and they also have a great beer and wine selection. I think this might be my new favourite place to spend Sunday afternoons.

Lovely pub, great selection of food and drink. However, I think the lighting needs a little more thought. We tried to play a game of scrabble and couldn’t see the board. We had to use the torches on our phones! It felt like someone had turned the lights off or that it was about to close.

Had lunch here a couple of times before Xmas. First time we went was on a Sunday and therefore Sunday lunch menu. Myself and my wife both went for the roast beef (nice and pink), accompanied with nice crisp vegetables, roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings. Ask for the extra jug of gravy. Ordered a very nice Malbec to go with it. Finished off with excellent cheese. Only fault I could find is that there are no dessert wines to go with it. Went here again a couple of weeks later and ordered the beef brisket with seasonal slaw which is excellent and super soft and pulls apart. Cheese again and then finished off with a couple of brandies (served by the excellent and super friendly bar man Phil) while we played shuffle board. Off for lunch today which reminded me to write the review. Highly recommended, especially if you haven't been back to The Palmerston since the owners moved to the Perry Hill.

Utterly fantastic even fabulous service from these guys I'm new to the area and work as a Head Chef in another venue and these guys could not have been more welcoming.. To Amy, you know who the staff were on duty that night, and I thank them both and you for making me feel at home as soon as I walked in. Love this place. I have only been to it under its NEW MANAGEMENT for Sunday lunches and they have all been superb. These guys have pulled off the very difficult trick of mastering a perfect simple Sunday roast with a great atmosphere and lovely decor and excellent, attentive, friendly staff. I just wish it was closer to where I live but I will always travel to get to this place. Highly recommend. It's a gem and must be kept busy and open!

Our lovely revamped local. Loved the beer garden in sun, but it’s as cosy as you like for winter. Perfect place to grab a drink, some really tasty food (love the smoked selection) and settle in for the evening by the fire.

Very lovely space, both inside and out. Undercover area is nice and big! Staff very friendly and happy to help - the best part of the experience. Ordering using the phone works OK but personally I prefer to talk to someone as not all details are present on the menu. Food was quite good, gravy on the roast a little salty perhaps. Drink selection also a good mix (would like more wine by the glass options). Overall, definitely recommended!

Lovely pub with great food and beer. The playground is now open, so you can leave the kids to play and it’s really easy with the ordering done through website via the QR code. Staff are attentive and friendly. A really nice atmosphere in the pub with lots of room.

What a lovely spot. We visited with our 22m old daughter for a late afternoon pint & early dinner. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. There is loads of space so it seems unfair previous reviews refer to kids “ruining” the vibe. Surely all can be catered for! Excited to see the “pirates’ cove” will be up and running by the summer (which by the way is in the back corner so shouldn’t disturb those who so-inclined!)

What a great pub/restaurant in between Catford and Sydenham. Quite large with good size garden and outdoor seating. Inside all done up for Halloween and I saw they do special events for children, such a good idea. Unusual menu which was good to try out and lovely staff. Wish I live a bit nearer !!

What an amazing pub. The staff are incredible. Happy, helpful and there when you need them. The food is modest in size (I eat a lot) but it filled me up, but more importantly it was delicious. The fish dish was the best my partner has tasted in a long time. I agree. The beer, cider and wine selection is impressive. The ciders are incredible. We have just had the most wonderful evening. The rain started to pour down and the staff made sure that everyone was dry, comfortable, but more importantly HAPPY!!!! What an incredible palace. Thank you Perry Hill

We visited for a Sunday roast. The staff were very kind and attentive. The chicken roast missed off a Yorkshire pudding much to our disappointment! The menu didn’t mention that the chicken was smoked and therefore very pink. Lovely atmosphere and a welcomed neighbourhood addition.

This newly reopened pub is lovely. Food is great, service friendly. In these "outdoor only" times the arrival of hot water bottles as it grew dark bought a smile. One criticism? As all veg charged for the tendancy to just have chips hard to resist as £4 for a portion of veg seems a bit steep however beautifully they are cooked! I have had 2 fish meals, both really lovely so must get over my mean streak!!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My Erdinger had no head on it ( ?type of glass) and service charge on one beer and an apple juice seems excessive. No doubt we'll be back though, it's a nice pub.

Went here first week of pubs reopening. Lovely staff, very helpful. Nice big pub garden. Food delicious. My only criticism is that the beef burger didn’t come with chips. That tends to be standard in most places and it’s what we were expecting. Chips are charged at £4 so if you want chips with your burger, you’re going to be paying £14 for the whole meal which is pretty steep.

Visited on first day of opening with wife and children. Staff was very attentive and super friendly. The place has been transformed and it was revived with great additions like a much improved garden and interiors. The food was incredible too and we will certainly visit again and again as we live two minutes down the road. Only one negative which i am sure will be improved with time, the toilets left a lot to be desired and with some dodgy trafficking in the cubicle which might need monitoring. Some bloke was rushing people out shouting as him and other blokes evidently needed to do “stuff”in it. Anyway, we had a great time and i highly reccomend it for the food and atmosphere all around

Can't comment on why reviews were so low in its previous incarnation. Can only say now, it's a lovely pub to visit. Outside space is big with both booked only tables and walk-ins available. Good cask beer, plus the inside looks lovely once we're allowed in! A good local boozer for sure.

Now don't get me wrong the place is very nice and nicely decorated but I like a pint of cider and mainly strongbow but they didn't have this and I chose a rhubarb flavour cider. The price was a bit much (£5 off I remember) but completely expected for this type of pub. The food menu didn't appeal to me as a pescatarian and after seeing someone's bowl of chips I'm glad I didn't order them (very small bowl for the price). We had one drink and left and ended up in a traditional local pub with a pint of strongbow at £3.30 a pint (no chips but crisps and nuts were available). Long live the local pub 🍺

The Perry Hill Pub (Nick and his team) were hugely accommodating when I rung on the off chance they’d have some room last minute for a group. Luckily, they fitted us in for a friends birthday and it worked out better then we expected. A friends birthday plans fell through last minute and The Perry Hill saved the day. Thanks so much for your hospitality and legendary-ness. Great service, friendly staff, and the birthday boy had a blast! Plus, the garden is fabulous for groups, couples, pets and families! All round pleaser.
