There was a problem with one of the customer food,a young chef with black & red hair came & sat down spoke to the customer & came back with the food,even though she was sent back & came back with a takeaway bag full with smiles. She was like a ray of sunshine what a great joy to see. Bar staff perfect.

D.Small wine bar turns into a night club after 10pm. It can get pretty crowded not for the faint hearted. BBQ cooked out the back in the small garden.

J. W.Great place to meet friends for a bite to eat a drink and listen to some great music. Has plenty of covered outside space so no worries about being too enclosed. Not so good for people with mobility problems that cannot do stairs as outside area is down stairs, loos are down stairs also.
L. H.Went Porky's on Friday was a bit unsure but what a fantastic night we had. Drinks were reasonably priced..food tasted nice...decent smoking area friendly staff and brilliant music. I was pleasantly surprised and will be traveling from east London back again very soon. Also the crowd was a mixed age group!!

N. M.Intimate lil venue. The music can be a little random in that the DJ did not have no real flow on the night that we went. But otherwise the drinks are not expensive and whilst small it was not packed so that it was uncomfortable.
J. B.A very hot evening, air conditioning needs to be on and up. Ladies toilets could do with a refurb, smelly and untidy, bin emptied over an hour after we arrived (about 2hours after opening for the evening).
That being said, it is a nice place to go for an evening with friends. The music has beed good every time we have visited and the attendees have been friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced.
伟.great wine restaurant. best wine list in the area. Prices are low for this level of restaurant. A good place to relax with the company or a business meeting. We've been to this place twice. With business partners and friends. Everyone likes it. Recommend

A. W.We had such a good time the first time we stumbled upon this spot there was no question in coming back a second time! Old school reggae night was EVERYTHING and made my 1st trip to London as one of my faves.
D. L.It's a nice little place for the locals. The music is good and the drinks are reasonable. There is a place out the back for people who smoke and also food is available.

J. S.it is very , very dark inside.stand near the bar, which is well lit. this is an old er crowd 40-60 year olds. it is a shebean. strictly reggae from back in days. security is tight. i wont be going again, my first & last visit.

v. j.Small compact nightclub filled with people from all cultures mainly afro carribean and Africàn and a splash of English people.
Not a place for those who like a spacious dance floor to practice their John Travolta moves. More like a mini nightclub!
This club is full of loud reggae music with a hint of soul and calypso music belting out music to feed the ears of the varied revellers inside.
As the club is not of size, if packed there is not much room to Manoeuvre or dance so revellers can get rude and just graze past you without a mèntion of excuse, please or thànk you.
If you can turn a blind eye to some bad behaviour, loud music and accommodate minimal dancing space. This club can be a memorable experience for you.
Don't just take my word for it. Make your way to Streatham and come and ènter Porky's get a taste of the Caribbean vibe.

L. D.Good music with a few established old skool DJs that specialise in lovers rock, ragga and golden era of reggae. Vibes FM DJs play down there frequently. Only down fall the place is a bit tiny and can get packed pretty fast. Good feature they have events that start at 10pm and finish at 11am the next day.

C. H.I have been going to this Venue since I was 19 had some good times. I reiterate what the last reviewer stated had my self a good time but can get quite packed. I just wish and allways wish the venue was bigger. Looking forward to celebrations for my 50th in jan.

J. S.Friday 13th January, my partner celebrated his birthday at porky's! The first time both of us have been there. Staff were very polite and accommodating, we couldnt have asked for more. The dj made sure everybody sang happy birthday, which was nice. We felt very welcome. He received a complimentary bottle of wine too. Fridays may see us a bit more at Porky's. Its a nice dpot. Thank you for a fantastic night!
