The beer selections is normal, but the burgers menu are amazing! Just look at the pic! I believe it explains a lot. They have the vegetarian option too.

M. T.Came in for a lunch with some colleges today. Had an amazing customer service, swift and efficient. Good selection of lagers, but would have expected a bigger selections of ales. The venue offers lunch deals which are decently priced. Overall would recommend visiting the venue. Also, I have been told that they host a range of events during the weekend which as I have been told are a blast.

T. i.We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here today and it was awesome! We booked so we had a really generous area prepared for us, we were able to hang our decorations and bring the cake.
The food was hot, the drinks were delivered promptly, the staff were friendly, so so helpful and accommodating.
My son and my whole family had such a good time! Our friends are now hankering to go back to this gem!
I know it’s not a one off, I came here for my birthday February before the first lockdown and New Year’s Eve a few months before that, it was also fab! That’s why I keep going back!

D. S.Came here during the day to watch an early game as they’ve got a big screen showing sport. I’d say the good is more American diner themed than Irish. Chicken burger was nice and you get a good size portion for the sides. Nice beer selection. Everything from ales to craft

Food wasn't the greatest if I'm honest. fried chicken a little dry and coleslaw served in a thimble. Hopefully when busier the food will be fresher, it was super quiet when we were there presumably due to covid and hardly any people being about in stark contrast to the usual Upper St vibe.

Lots of televisions for the footy albeit the picture quality isn't the best. Good range of beers in theory but almost all of the craft beer section was unavailable on our visit. But England won so I've given an extra star 😁

I didn't eat or drink there. So I can't comment on that.
My criticism would be to make the place more unique from other places. Because it looks like any generic pub.

M. D.Very nice venue which I attended for a comedy night. I didn't have drinks or food myself by the drink range seemed decent and there were a selection of craft drinks.
The music was a little loud for conversation at times, the bar staff seemed approachable so you might be able to ask them to turn it down.
Modern feeling beat up decor sees school chair type chairs in the comedy section towards the back. Candy coloured neon lights the bar nicely for a fun vibe.
T. M.Vegan menu is a good idea but gluten free options, the team member was helpful in attempt but just wasn't much to offer me. I ended up paying £10 almost with no discount, for a plant burger without the bun... they didn't include extra salad or anything... just 2 tomato slices and a few lettuce leaves.. plant burger was decent but I've had better for less and with gluten free bun so.. bit over priced guys! Delicious sauce though... clean and good atmosphere for a pub.

D.Decent beer range with changing craft guest spots from both local and international brewers, staff not bad and it never seems to be too busy. Sports on unobtrusively at times, music not offensive. Not a destination in it's own right but a decent pre/post gig spot. Better than most places on the main drag.

h.To call this a gastro pub stretches the description to the absolute limit, its a pub that you can get something to eat in. It's basically clean, pretty huge so lots of seating (but long waits at the bar). Especially good for big groups, not one for a quiet drink

A. T. I. D. (.It's a good atmosphere when you're with a group of friends or work colleagues having a few drinks and a bite to eat. Pints are pricey but the food is priced ok. The Nachos with cheese were surprisingly larger in size than I thought they would be.

What made it truly stand out was the DJ 'Mr Dex' from watchoutnow.tv blending a variety of old school sounds (HipHop, RNB etc) with a unique Big Screen music video system. As he blends the tunes from one into another, the video's merge from one to the next with perfect timing and funky creative transition effects all in front of the dance floor. I was blown away with the sound and effect. There every other Saturday, I recommend it for real music heads, I will defiantly be heading back.
