Fantastic!
Clean air and lots of space!
An app to order your drinks and pay at the hut for the food you want.
There is golf and baseball however we didn't have enough time to play.
Will definitely be going again!

A true gem on this side of London. Good music and plenty of activities around. You can enjoy the giant jengas around the venue and play with your friends or enjoy a film or a game of mini golf. The drinks came fast and tasted really nice. The food options were limited but they were satisfying. Looking forward to come back and impress my friends visiting this area.

I love this place. They have cool games to play. The cocktails could be improved. The music is always banging. Often a bit of drum and bass. There's a good selection of nice food. It's a nice date place.
I haven't tried the outdoor cinema.

Really enjoyed my first time here. Its such a good vibe, if you're with the right people you can't fail. Staff were pretty helpful- they tried to answer queries. We had an almost 1hr wait for drinks but that was due to issues with the online app...when it worked it was pretty good. Definitely want to go back! Great bowls- really really enjoyed myself.

A really cool roof top space. Great options for food and the games, like mini golf are all great although you do have to pay extra for them. All members of staff were really friendly and helpful.
P. H.
Super fun mix of outdoor games and really prompt service when drinks are ordered online. Pizza, burgers or Indian style wraps all on offer if you need to fill ya guts.

Locating this place can be a bit confusing but just walk straight to startford shopping center and take the elevator just infront of the entrance. Beautifully decorated but still very windy. Covid compliance and nice drinks served. I did book a table to be able to get in.

My friends and I came to roof east as a treat to ourselves after lockdown. The food was amazing and the service was was better. Cheryl, Lami, Josh, James and Lizzie went above and beyond for us and I couldn't thank them enough, they made our first day out expectional. Thank you for all being so amazing.
C. S.
Really nice rooftop. Good music, groups of people having drinks, playing mini golf or soaking up some sun. We had a good time, the only négative thing in my opinion was the wine served in plastic bottles without any visible label. I do not appreciate paying 20 quid for a bottle and not knowing what I am being given.
D. C.
Partner bought group on vouchers which helped with the cost of lawn bowls. A little expensive without it. Also £1 for ketchup... odd.
Otherwise a nice vibe for an outdoor date night.
J. D.
Great rooftop bar across the way from Westfield. Has lots gong for it: crazy golf, baseball nets, bowls. Beer is decent if a little pricy. We went when lockdown was being relaxed, and it was a very safe experience. The toilets in particular were very well maintained!
B. L.
Verdict - would return: great way to spend time outdoors
Liked - lawn bowls, “Cheeky Elvis” burger
Disliked - n/a
Other comments - well managed regarding social distancing
E. R.
Such a lovely place to spend time with friends or your second half. The time can be spent noisy playing games and having fun or romantic while watching a movie under the stars. Selection of food is ok, drinks menu too, staff is quite friendly but overall atmosphere is great!
M. H.
A nice rooftop with drinks, activities and amazing parmesan fries:) hard to get a booking sometimes though and you definitely wanna go when it’s sunny!
L. l.
This is the place that you go in summer for a nice date. They have a outdoor screen, bowls, jenga, crazy golf and caged baseball batting. As well as two food shacks, (one selling pizza, the other selling Indian Asian kebab type food, from what i can remember?) and a couple of bars for drinks. Arrive directly at the time they open, they won't let you in earlier. It's a nice place to go if you live in the area or go to the shopping and want to do something a bit different for an hour or two to talk. Easy going staff. Definitely think they could offer more types of food and drinks but I understand it's more of a social bar than anything else. The music was a little off putting for someone who is religious and doesn't mind popular music if clean, most songs were more on the raw vulgar side.
L. A. 1.
Short first visit. Staff friendly. The drinks were priced at the sort of price you would expect for a roof top bar in Stratford.
L.
A great place to chill. A very vibrant place in east London. There are lots of games and stuff to do like crazy golf and batting cage but can be quite pricy on peak times. A really lovely vibe here with nice nibbles and drinks. It wasn’t crazy busy when I went which was on a Saturday around 2/3pm. This made a difference as if it was really busy, it would not have been nice.
A. C.
Second time here and still a pretty cool location! Love the view the games are sound the whole ordering at ur table super easy. Tasty food
Only the drinks could be a bit cbeaper but i guess that is london😔
But overall a super sweet spot friendly staff
P. C.
Lovely rooftop space with lots of colour and vibrancy. Plenty of seats both outside and inside the covered bar area, where cheerful pop is played. I agree with others that more warmth is needed for the colder days, but you can get away with wearing a thick coat in the bar tent.
We didn't play any of the games but there was a good variety (Inc baseball, shuffle boarding, bean bag toss, mini golf, etc)
Good selection of food and drink (we had vegan bao buns from Eat Chay; incredible!) Though the beer selection is fairly basic (Camden hell's, Stella, and magners cider were on tap when we visited) and the cocktails weren't that inspiring. There's also prosecco, wine, and soft drinks on offer. The prices are a bit on the high side (even for London) but given the venue it's not surprising.
The cinema was closed when we visited, but there was a dedicated area with box office / popcorn stand / cinema style seats. It looks worth a visit!
We were very pleasantly surprised by the whole place :) definitely worth a look if you're in the area. Great for a quick bite to eat / drink and to relax with a game!
V. M.
I enjoyed this rooftop with my work friends, had the buns which were really moist and had a lot of fun textures! On a sunny, Sunday this was a great spot! We stayed and played the games and had more drinks and it was great vibes. I would say it was all reasonably priced and the service was good!
E. L. G.
Stratford Mall (e.g. not Westfield) has followed in the footsteps of Franks in Peckham and turned the multi storey car park rooftop into a vibrant bar and playground! We loved how much seating there was in the venue (both covered and open) with deckchairs and benches galore.
This rooftop bar in Stratford offers a whole host of activities. First up they have Birdies, a crazy golf offering with up to 8 people per game. Peak is £9.50pp and off peak is £8pp.
Sluggers have brought rooftop batting cages, along with curling, bowling, and shuffleboard lanes (prices per 20 minutes). They are also have House of Foos, a VR-heavy football/table foosball hybrid! If that was not enough, they also offer vinyasa flow classes from Flow East Yoga and films from the popular Rooftop Film Club.
Where there is a bar, there must be street food! Kolkati serve flaky hot kati rolls with chicken masala or paneer filling. These were so light and fluffy and the chicken had a good spicy kick (£7.50). Definitely try these out!
Eat Chay offer Korean and Vietnamese-influenced vegan cuisine, and Jimmy’s Pop Up offers burgers and fries from The Burger Bar.
There are three bars on the rooftop, ensuring that there are not chaotic queues. We had an enormous jug of Pimms followed by a cheeky prosecco. They also offer some quirky cocktails (£9.50) including the Sunset Sherbet Fizz, Bloody Bees Knees and Knickerbocker Royale.
This is a fun and colourful rooftop bar in Stratford offering a range of activities and great street food. Entry is free and there is so much space which is a real winner!
S. N.
Nice views, chilled atmosphere. Crazy golf, marquee lights, street food. Drink orders came quickly as everything is ordered via an app. Ask to be sat in the main area (immediately infront of you on arrival). We Sat round the corner and had the views which was nice but there's more atmosphere in the central section and more visually appeasing.
R. B.
It’s good. Food expensive beer range limited. On a sunny day with a good group of mates it will be fun. Games were all booked up in advance !
M. P.
What a unique and exciting venue. Free giant Jenga, table football and some paid activities make this a fun place to hang out. Near to public transport, quality on-site food and a good range of drinks make this a must visit. Kids until 5:00pm only and make sure the weather is good.
N. A.
Absolutely love love love this place. I have been their for a film and several times for games. We booked our game tickets a while in advance and got a free cocktail each. We booked for 40 mins, but no one was there for after us so we got to enjoy it for longer until the next group arrived. Staff is very happy. Check out their website for activities and what films you can watch.
A. P.
Cheeky Burger... Super burgers, highly recommended. Great customer service too!
Check out the home made sauces... fabulous!

Truly unique experience. Thicker blankets and heaters would be appreciated! If your sitting at the back the screen seems a bit small. Sound is good though!
Great place for a date

Very interested place. Crazy golf, gigantic shengha, batting range, Dj, cocktails and cinema on a roof top in East London. You can't get more hisper than this. Great fun with friends or after work. A must see.
K. B.
I had the best time here last summer! We played crazy golf which we pre booked and enjoyed the cocktails, easy to get to too just across the road from Stratford Station. Free jenga in the bar area which was a laugh after a few drinks.
R. C.
Roof East is managed by Urban Space Management Ltd. Formerly an empty rooftop car park, Roof East is a bar, event space, open air cinema and a community space.
With support from The GLA Pocket Park Fund and the Stratford Renaissance Partnership Urban Space Management teamed up with Groundwork London to install an Urban Park on the car park roof.
Recycled pallets and scaffold boards and even recycled decking from the Olympic Park footbridge were used to make planters full of shrubs and saplings to bring colour and scents to the space.
In a nod to the former car park use we even have three cars filled with earth and plants. Now trees grow up through their roofs (well, two are convertibles!).
S. G.
Awesome views over stratford and london. Good variety of drinks across 2 bars, burgers are definitely worth a buy and a generically chill spot to visit!
S. M. C.
really nice rooftop pub,I got a great time with my friends. Good rooftop places. And can play golfing, slugging, blowing. You feel a lot of fun here.
D. K.
This place used to be a quaint rooftop oasis with a cinema screen but now it's just become a jungle of neon lights and noises. There are too many different things going on and it's become a tourist attraction almost, and with all that you get tourist like prices, £6+ for a pint! It's still a nice place for a drink or two on a hot summers evening to escape the heat. Drinks selection is quite limited. There are a few food trucks with some decent food options.
L. S. (.
It’s a bar on a rooftop in Stratford... What’s not to love! Games, cinema, drinks, food, it’s all going on and it’s a great place to relax and enjoy some time with friends and others.
B. S.
Great space with amazing panoramic views on the roof of ageing Stratford Centre - impressive what they've done with bars, food huts, loads of seating and tables & games :) Good vibes, and relatively child friendly, and a quick walk to Stratford station & Stratford underground
P. S. P.
Great fun little place, best car park I've ever been to! Nice food, fun games. Bit pricey but... well... London innit...
E. C.
So much fun playing bowls at Roof East with the kids. Minors can stay til 5pm at weekends. Think we'll try the crazy golf next time. Food concessions were pizza, rotis & bhajis, burgers. Felt v welcoming.
Z. O.
Had a fun evening here on a Monday for Sliders Curling.
Great open space with a large uncovered outdoor area with deck chairs, a burger/ food place and an indoor covered bar area (which was very toasty). Also played the highest game of Jenga!
D. P.
I really liked it.
You can eat, play, drink, listen to music and watch a movie!
The only thing i suggest is to give more information to reach the rooftop. Wasn't that easy.
A. C.
The security here was spot on and very focused on who was where and how the vibe was feeling. A nice open space and the Covid aspect was excellent. The knowledge of the staff was hit and miss with what we could order and how to order. The serving staff were very polite and on point.
The place it a bit pricey for general daytime drinking averaging over £6 per pint and in plastic cups. My friend who had a cocktail for £12 was served in a paper cup and lashings of cubed ice rather than crushed ice. It is a young person's haunt where fashion and looks of the clientele are valued more than the drinks or the affordability of both drinks and food. It's definitely worth a single visit to see if it works for you. As a mature adult I prefer glassware and plates for my drink and food, not plastic and paper plates (yes a small £12 pizza served on a party paper plate). The men's urinals had no hand washing facilities which is disgusting and the two (2) hand sanitizer units next to the urinals were empty, that is slack considering how well staffed the place was.
If you want table service and have an iPad phone tell them you have lost or forgotten your card and you can get table service. I personally think there were more than enough staff on to offer table service.
L.
So the beach chairs are very uncomfortable, not only that look at what the men have for the toilet. No tap and sink, just this urinal and a hand sanitiser. Disgusting. I understand it’s free entry but charging £12 for a cocktail made of ice is ridiculous. The vibe was good and games looked fun but expensive and very limited capacity.
j. c.
This was such a unique and fun experience, perfect for a group or a couple. I went with my girlfriend and enjoyed the rooftop cinema so much. I can't wait to return and enjoy all the games, food stalls and bars; plus the view is brilliant.
L. N.
Fun little activities, such as batting cages and mini golf but you do have to book in advance. For large groups I would advise booking at least 2 hours for everyone enjoy it but for a date its great fun!
J.
Amazing place! Really unique and cool. Amazing decor, good drinks and a lot of activities to do. Make sure you book in advance as walk in it not always possible..
L. H.
Lovely big area with lots of things to do, prices werent too expensive and the staff were very friendly and hospitable.
J. R.
For a somewhat trendy place in East London the drinks options on offer are APPALLING. I couldn't speak poorly enough of the lazily unimaginative, horrendously expensive choices.
Bowls was fun, bit of slugging looked alright, mini golf looked overpriced but well thought out.
Limited but alright food options, an improvement on the bar choice, that's for sure.
But really. Come on. Sort your drinks menu out.
J. P.
Nice rooftop bar located on the top of Stratford shopping centre. Decor and tables are nice, giving a good atmosphere. Hammock chairs slightly uncomfortable but still relaxing on a nice day. Cocktails are nice but slightly overpriced for the amount you get, still a good selection though
S. B.
Lovely place! Would definitely go back....with a jumper!
D. E. (.
Really cool terrace with some free games and the decoration is quite colourful! A good place to Instagram. The only thing is that some other games are a bit expensive
K. G.
Great place to spend the evening with friends! The view is amazing and Baos with seitan are super delicious! Hope I'll be back soon :)
C. D.
The end point to my sons stag do. A great find and worth a visit. Lots of fun to be had.
A. L.
Great vibe and good music. Golf is probably a bit overpriced and you only get a table for 40 mins after (although longer if required). There is also boules, sluggers and an outdoor cinema. Pints are £6.25. There are little food stands serving pizza, burgers and Indian. There is a covered marquee in case of a rain I guess. Really lovely staff.
P. R.
Love this place, it's a great set up with fun games and tasty food and drinks. My only complaint would be the ordering system, it's Web based and I had some issues ordering last time. That's more down to my lack of signal than anything else, my friends didn't have a problem.
M. C.
Should be the second year that Roof East is operating in Stratford centre on the rooftop. I've been there twice is unbelievable there area playground of mini golf, bowling, baseball, ping pong, cinema with view and much more.
Nice food from BBQ Jimmy Garcia's, and bar.
Until September you should go there at least once.
Woow well done guys.
R. V. (.
Great venue! I've been here twice, most recently for a company event. Where the venue and activities were great I did find that the organiser was very unorganised. Had to constantly chase for replies and things were very unclear before hand. On the day however, everything ran smoothly the sun was out, music and food was great and the activities are a good laugh.
P. J. A. C.
Very nice place to go for a drinks with your friends and wait for the sunset. I'm definitely coming back soon!
J. R.
Had a bit of trouble with our booking to start with (batting cage machinery not operating), but our host Adam went above and beyond to ensure we i) got our game time and ii) enjoyed the rest of our stay.
The activities, food and drink service and the fact that the venue doesn't seem to employ a "cram as many customers in as possible" policy means this was an excellent all round experience. Big shout out to Adam but well done Roof East as a whole, my group fully recommends this venue for an enjoyable day out in East London.
U. C.
One of the best places in East London.. Not only many bars and things to do also affordable and nice sunny day good music.. Good food and alot do beer what else you need this summer.. Definitely recommend
Z. M. C.
We started off playing sluggers with James and IC who were really helpful and enthusiastic. Then finished with the mini golf. All really fun. We had a food from both stalls which came quick and was really yummy. Staff were amazing. Shoutout to games manager James who organised our mini golf game for us!! Overall really recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out! Amazing cocktails too!
L. M.
Very nice roof bar with a good selection of food and drinks!
A. R.
A nice rooftop in East London. As drowbacks, the surrounding are terrible, they were running out of beer and is quite costly.
D. H.
What a cool place! Great to play fun games with mates. Good beer. Good food. Could be a little cheaper...
F. A.
Really cute place and good games to play with friends. Not pricey at all and when booking a game they book you a table to sit at after as well which is convenient. Staff were lovely!
S. Q.
Plenty of things to do - nice wide space, good games but weather dependent. Good vibe.
E. G.
Great place to have a drink and meet with friends! Lovely burgers too....😊
M. S.
amazing place. Lovely sunset as well! You can't see properly the sun but the sky's colours are amazing from here. Ordering the drinks and foods from the table is so easy and the staff is very nice! I will suggest this place for all those people who want to do something different during the week and weekend!
T. F. W.
One of my favourite places around Stratford in the summer. You can play free giant Jenga or book minigolf games.
P. S. (.
Roof East is the place to spend your weekend afternoon with friends. This outdoor converted car park is a huge space with so much to do. The table booking and service was very well organised and I cannot recommend this place enough.
C. W.
Great spot for a few drinks and activities. Mini golf is fun and as is the batting. Interesting date night
A. J.
Loving the lounge seats, endless popcorn and the funky headphones, which are wireless, so you don't get all tangled up in the cord :D
J. R.
Great venue. Really enjoyed the curling and the food was great too.
B. D.
"I had the time of my life" watching Dirty Dancing at Roof East Cinema! Great venue with a good selection of drinks and street food. Very friendly cinema staff!
E. H.
Great place with a lot of different drinks, fantastic and varied food stalls in the sun.
There's mini golf and a cinema. Great place to spend a day
R.
lol a carpark converted to a drinking yard. Pricey but the vendors do give you a lot of shot for the £.... Will pop back.
K. S.
Had a great night at Roof East on the weekend - we managed to walk in and get a spot on bowls and golf. Josh, Lami, Cheryl, Rachel & Sylvia on the games team made sure we were sorted all night. Will come again!
O. B.
Great place with a lot of different activities as mini golf. But the choice for beer is very poor...
K. D.
No food and drink policy is understandable for drinks but riduclous for water. People chucking it away. What a waste. Never ask me if I had food thougj
J. P.
Amazing rooftop bar with many different games.
Best to go in a group
H. W.
Love this place and they’re setting a brilliant example in post-Covid times. There’s lots of space and excellent drinks/food ordering processes in place to keep everyone safe. Toilets are v clean. Staff are super friendly - shout out to Deray! How about setting up a Tip Jar account so we can show our appreciation?
J. L.
Amazing bar, huge open lay out with different food and games to play. We went before a gig at the Olympic stadium and could have stayed all afternoon. Really cool atmosphere with plenty of space and deck chairs to lounge on. Quirky decor with cars filled with trees and plants, bunting and coloured chairs throughout. I think there is also an open air cinema up there too but it wasn't open when we visited. I'd suggest getting up there for a full afternoon in the sun enjoying the music and cool vibe with friends.
A. M.
It was what we love, drinks with a bit of fun and games. The place was nicely decorated and gave that summer vibes feel. There's food stands and different bar sections. You can play jumbo, ping pong, bit of crazy golf and a lot more. There's also a movie section where you can watch movies outside (classic movies though).
It got 3 stars for 2 reasons. I understand that we were there on the last day so it was expectantly busy. We were then told if you do not have a ticket to go and line up outside but were not told how long we would be waiting in line for. 30 mins later the queue was still at a standstill. I went and ask the lady deciding who goes it how long would people have to wait till they were allowed, to give me a rough estimate because obviously if it would take more than an hour we would rather prefer to go somewhere else even though some of our friends were already inside. She said she has no idea which I found a bit silly, did she just expect us to wait there for hours??. Not only that but she was rude and allowed people to just jump the queue and did nothing when others complained. The bar staff inside were very friendly though.
Overall it's not a bad spot, just go there when it's not busy or buy a ticket.
G. C.
Such a nice atmosphere and great entertainment!! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially James, who guided us throughout the batting cages and even offered us more time to play as it wasn’t busy! Such a lovely guy! Me & my boyfriend had such an amazing time! We both recommend and will certainly go again!
J. S.
Went for an after work event and it was great. Lively place with lots to do.
B. M.
More vegetarian meal options would be great. But otherwise this venue is probably one of my favourites in Stratford
T. W.
Fabulous night out! Entertainment, drinking and food.
Great place to meet people and pull!!!
L. N.
Convenient location for drinks after shopping at Westfield. Required a table booking which was free. Table service for drinks and food was available. The drinks menu could've been bigger.
F. D.
Been there a few times, probably one of my favourite rooftop bar in the area! Has got loads of cool entertainments like crazy golf and cinema. Two bars plus a couple of places for some street food snacks. Highly recommended for your afternoon with friends. Really enjoying the playlist during my visits. If you'd like to get a cocktail with a London view so then pass by there to check it out!
C. H.
It was my first time coming to the roof east. Deray has great energy and great vibes. She helped make my friends birthday special, was very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again. Thank you Deray.
R. D.
Banging little find, lots to do, gd variety. Love the open air cinema. great way to use the old shopping centre carpark
V. A.
Really good place to chill. Good vibes. Got indoor seating too incase it rains.
E. M.
It's good, but for the price you can get more/better holes at one of the other crazy golf venues in London. Street food is lovely though and the staff were really friendly.
J. T.
Great atmosphere for those who enjoy sitting out in the sun with mates, drinking and relaxing. Number of different games on the rooftop like bowls, baseball batting cages, mini golf and many more. Little pricey to play, but good for a laugh and a way to spend time in a group of friends. Would recommend coming here to chill on a nice summers day especially with the recent heatwaves!
v.
Good concept, and suits work event type evenings. Choices of food vans, selection of drinks, and games for friends and colleagues. Need to be mindful of weather - it would be a different experience in the rain. Nice views too. Very close to Tube station.
F. F.
Really really cool place. I went for the open-air cinema and had a very fun night. The place is full of food stands and games. Amazing view of the city. Perfect location for a relaxes date or a night out with friends.
L. D.
I loved this! Prices are pretty good for London, wine is £5.50 and food is £8-10. Atmosphere is fantastic, relaxed but energetic. Great place to watch a sunset. Great date night.
A. H.
Good place to chill. Great for nice warm weather. Drinks can be bit pricey plus they taste as if it's been water down. Theres few games and a box office. No entry fee. Easy to park and find access to it.
C. Q.
I've been here a couple times in the summer and am extremely impressed with the place when I go.
It's one of those places that's a must go if you live and work in the area.
The guys serving drinks are friendly and someone regularly walking round cleaning up.
My only disappointment with the place is the burgers and fries we got there.
Me and my mates got burgers and fries and we unanimously said they were terrible.
The fries were overcooked but the burger was just rubbish, from the bun to the burger it was just tasteless and just tasted like a budget burger.
If it weren't for this I would have given 5/5.
So my recommendation is to definitely go but think twice about getting a burger!!
A. P.
Great place to visit lovely food very friendly staff and very nice games Loved the Jenga
S. F.
Kind of a hidden gem. Amazing vibe in summer. you can try this place for a birthday or casual drink! So spacious, so beautiful and plenty of different games all around. The long queue is very disappointing though and the queuing space is not great (in the stairs). You better to book in advance if you are going during weekends.
V. A.
Great place!! Good location, games are fun, good beers and awesome that there are good stands there too.
T. J. B.
Great roof top bar with lots of fun activities e.g. curling, bean bag game, crazy golf, skittles etc. Gets very busy, especially in warmer weather so you need to get here early or you wont get a table! Some great food stands the Bao Buns stall is perfect 10/10. Reasonably priced bar, too.
L. H.
Lovely rooftop space, vibe and atmosphere was good. Great on a summers night but can get a bit chilly. We played mini golf and batting, decent prices for drinks as well. Only thing was we went on a Friday night about 7pm and the queue was really long, took us about 45mins to get in.
C. M.
Great array of entertainment, friendly fun staff.
Very relaxed vibes.
A. P.
Great place amazing games. The minigolf is particularly fun and it's a nice place to hang out.
Avoid the Burger Project. Most disgusting burgers I've ever had in London. Almost made me throw up immediately.
M. G.
This really is a unique place near Stratford. If you like old school games, quirky surroundings, and outdoors rooftop drinking this is the place for you. The only disappointment was the food. I would skip the sad thin patty burgers.
S. L.
Great place to hang out, especially on a sunny day! London needs more places like this! Fun atmosphere, staff and drinks. Particularly enjoyed our time at the batting cages and hanging out with Tafal who was awesome and really topped off a great evening!
R. A.
Very nice place. Total hidden gem! Will return...
S. D.
Just the spot for a Friday night drink and something to eat after work , this little hidden gem is located in the old Stratford shopping centre, has nice chilled vibrant atmosphere.
There are deck chairs and games to play, and the views are something else. Great for those long summer nights with good friends.
C. M.
Lovely rooftop with great vibes! The atmosphere here is always great and lovely bar and food. The games and rooftop cinema are a great bonus. Go early to avoid queues as it gets crazy busy when the sun comes out!
A. I.
Lovely environment, great place to gather around with friends nice food avaible. The place could had a roof like structure to proctect the people from rain but overall good experience. Reccoomended to people that want food fun and want to meet new people. Sveral bars serving a variety of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic. Great location with mall and Westfield right besides, aswell as having parking space just below the event itself.
N. P.
Lovely place with amazing view. Just disappointed about the food, expensive little portions, and the quality is low. By the way is a perfect place for chill and have fun with friends.
In hot days the queue to enter there is very long, on average 30 minutes of waiting.
A. W.
Not bad. Fun little escape. Feels a bit thrown together and some stuff needs repair, but overall pretty fun.
A. P.
Great atmosphere, loads going on great place to chill after work.
K. N.
One of the best to hang out in the summer in London. Not too crowded, not too busy, just perfect. Lots of activities to get involved in including Crazy Golf and Rooftop cinema plus a bar and food stalls that sells the most mouth-watering of hot dogs and burgers. Arrive early on a Friday night to grab the good seats and watch the sun sail down as you surround yourself with friends and sip that delicious cocktail of yours.
A. “. Z.
I came here for crazy golf during the summer time with my best friend. He hadn’t known about this place since he’s from West London. The crazy golf is really cheap too £10 for 2 for a 18 hole game. During the summer time they normally have a jenga board where you can bring your friends and have a nice drink and play along with groups. Winter time is way better if you have the igloos reserved a month in advance and the curling game is just dope. The bar is nice too good selection of drinks to chill after work hours esp mulled wine. What’s more interesting is the parked car stuffed garden (Mazda MX-5 Miata and Porsche 924) as a display which I never came across in other rooftop bars in London.
D. A.
Very nice idea and setup, had a great time with friends. Bbq veggie burger was alright, food price and drinks was decent and they had cool backgrounds to take pictures with and I saw Keith Lemon (I think 😂) with two little girls (not his daughters lol) to a hotel Transylvania theme party! Going back soon 😁
A. M.
Fun place to visit. Go hungry and have a "Cheeky Burger" with rosemary fries. This is a must!!!
F. R.
Absolutely fantastic place to chill in east. Not many people know about this hidden gem in Stratford. If you want to relax on the top of the world and see Stratford from above, this is the place to be. Nice drinks, outdoor cinema and minigolf
J. C.
£12 per person for a game of lawn bowls?! You have got to be joking! This attempt at extortion totally ruins what would be a great night out. All the games were empty.
This place has lots of potential, but please adjust your pricing.
R. M.
Great vibe and location , currently operating table service drinks which is super unreliable and slow for such a large venue and the order site often is inaccessible
B. K.
Had a surprise birthday for our friend here, the staff were amazingly helpful in making sure our plan went off without any problems, big thanks to the bar and entry staff! Just an amazing place to chill out in good weather too!
R. S.
Roof East is a great place for families, it's just unfortunate that children can only be there from midday til 5pm.
You would never guess you are on top of a car park in Stratford!
It is free to be up there, but be warned, you have to check shopping bags (and have your handbag checked) by the entrance.
There is a bbq place, a bar and great music to add to the vibrancy.
They have boules, mini golf and batting cages up there that are charged for, and in my opinion a little pricey.
Jenga and table football are free.
We played a game of boules at the back which was great. But it had a different sound system to the rest of the roof, with explicit lyrics.
The guys and gals that work up there were great. My nephew spilt his juice and they replaced it with no fuss!!
All in all, a great place to chill out and relax for adults.
Just wipe out the explicit lyrics between 12pm and 5pm, and it would be a 5star place
H. K.
So much going on here. We’d pre booked Rooftop Cinema and Sluggers which are both definitely worth doing. If you don’t pre book then the queue is massive on a busy Saturday. Drinks are a bit expensive. Lots of street food options.
J. B.
Great cool getaway on the roof of a car park with lots of fun things to try. Enjoyed our time there and we will go again a great end to our day in Stratford loved the open air movie. Glad we had extra Blankkkies and coats tho. Thanks a Bunch guys
R.
We had our summer work party here and basically had the whole roof to ourselves as it was from 12-5 on a Thursday. The drinks were varied and there were plenty of games and the food was great!
b.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and great drinks. A bit pricey but what else do you expect in London nowadays. Money well spent! I have been to their Busey Building cinema in Peckham and Roof East definitely tops it.
M. S.
A great day for some good weather, plenty to do, eat and drink without breaking the bank
K. K.
Great idea but lack of effective execution. A new business, so will take time to do it but it is a fun place to be with your family and friends to chill and have a good time.
D. H.
What a place to start the night off in Stratford. Situated on top of a shopping center, but 8 levels up in the lift and you are greeted with this haven. Plenty to do when you are up here, but as it is a rooftop bar having the sun out is key. Food, drinks, activities and even a cinema. You simply cannot get bored here
M. D.
Had the entire space exclusively for a company party, so this might be a bit different normally. Food was good, games were enjoyed by all (the batting cages were very entertaining), and the weather made it a nice place to just hang out.
M. S.
Very large space with lots of bars and street food options. Decent views across the city and close to Stratford station. Quite difficult to find though. You have to take the lifts up from inside the shopping centre. I can’t remember seeing any signs downstairs.
A.
A perfectly good thing to do in London on an afternoon. Sliders was lots of fun outside and the we played giant jenga inside and drank beer. Was there in winter and they heat the covered part but you still need to be wrapped up!
J. R.
Thank you for convert this space in a wonderful place. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend and was above her expectations. I want to specially glad to James who was very kind and nice explaining the whole venue in order to have a fully experience. I want people like him onboard!
R. D.
Fun quirky place, great to hang out on a good summers day. Lots of games to keep you entertained. Great time out for a group of friends.
Very vibrant and lively environment. Will definitely return.
A. B.
In the carpark on the top of the old stratford shopping centre, a cracking place to have a drink on a sunny and warm day.
Decent food from a few stalls, mini gold and when we were there some roller derby. There is also an outdoor cinema up there.
A pretty cool place to spend and afternoon or evening on a warm summers day.
H. K.
Cocktail choice was great, a bit on the expensive side but what else do you expect in a rooftop bar in London. I personally think it was worth it.
Open top cinema was awesome too.
M.
Great atmosphere. Shout out to TEE (aka T double E) for helping us with everything we asked. We aren’t the quietest of people.. vibe was so buzzing!! Thanks TEE!! That is what customer service is all about... first but not last time going to roof east!!!
S. D.
Great spot to kill a few hours with mate. Plenty of activities including batting cages, curling, lawn bowls, mini golf, rooftop cinema and giant Jenga on most tables. Loved it!
B. M.
I have been twice with groups of 10 to 20.
1: Pretty good place for drinks in Stratford! Jenga is free but I think everything else has a big price tag. There are unisex toilets in a little outhouse.
2: My second trip here was Fanta, on a Wednesday night. Tried to book tables via email and phone a few times but they never responded.
Rhubarb the Clown was an excellent juggling teacher (free) and we learned how to juggle 3 balls! It was really fun and he was very nice and patient! He also teaches clowning if you're into that!
Brendan the magician (Brendan Rodriguez) did closeup magic at our table twice which made everyone's jaw drop (you can see him on YouTube).
Mathias (I believe) was our barman in the tent bar and he was talented! Did loads of tricks with the bottles and makes great cocktails.
All staff were very friendly. Would recommend.
F. B.
Cool place to go in a sunny afternoon. Batting cages are fun and also the mini golf. I can see it as a hit for team building activities or just going for fun with a group of friends.
V. H. d. O. P.
The experience is amazing. It's one of the best places in Stratford
O. D.
Always a fun place to go. l haven't been for a while but there was mix crowd and the space has got bigger the indoor seat was a plus in the cold. And the DJ selection of 90 hip-hop is always welcome.
s. f.
Nice open air bar situated at the roof of the multi storey car park. Plenty to do - Jenga, crazy golf, hoola hoops. Good vibe. Drinks regular price.
C. H.
Lots of games options, ridiculous queue to get in and didn't explain you could queue jump if booked in at certain times. Would have been helpful to know before queueing for 20mins.
Drinks are expensive
R. N.
Great Atmosphere for Groups super relaxing whilst viewing the scenery of London. Crazy golf was fun however Rooftop Rollerblading was the highlight would definitely recommend as an activity.
C. W.
Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and lots to do as well as chill out. Drinks too expensive though and queue to get in is long after 5 30.
A. W.
Really fun! Well organised, fun activities, and lovely food. Really good!
R. W.
If you like burnt over priced food this is the place to be. An unfortunate waste of a great opportunity. Jimmy 'what's his face' takes advantage of his staff, treats them with disrespect and isn't man enough or capable enough to take criticism and do the job he expects others to do. If you sense an air of synasism and bias you would be right. I had to work for him. corporate clients beware, chef he is not. I tried to keep reasonable standards but boss man insisted on serving burnt food to a large corporate party. tut! tut!
A. S.
Great spot for a drink with games, cinema and a lovely view!
D. R.
So fun!! Drinks are a little dear, but overall good vibes. Wangle a seating area and a big Jenga and you'll have fun for hours.
C. (.
Chilled friendly and great vibe from the staff
C. O.
Had a wonderful experience given by Chuks and I-C they were fantastic hosts and we had their service under the reservation of Slater. 100 percent recommend xxx
M. R.
Food: 3.8/5
Environment: 5/5
Service: 4.4/5
Price: 4.1/5
The food is nothing exceptional, edible.
The environment and the atmosphere it's perfect to chill in sunny days.
Surprised by the outstanding service.
The price is fair and affordable.
N. B.
Lovely atmosphere. Fun (all be it expensive) mini games. Good selection of drinks and a nice place to go on a Friday night. The food selection was not great and also the toilet condition was less than ideal.
Y. G.
Interesting idea of an outdoor cinema, great selection of classic movies, but the sound was too low. The mini golf course was very small and not value for money.
R. S.
Unexpectedly great venue on a roof top. Bring a jumper. We went and saw a roller derby bout. Loads of deck chairs, drinks, food. Very relaxed.
D. F.
Such a great hidden gem in Stratford - adventure golf, giant jenga and other fun activities. Some awesome alcoholic slush puppy's too!
J.
Cool view. Some really drunk people there who dance silly. As you can tell I'm quite bitter as I didn't manage to hit any baseballs even on the easiest setting
J. D.
Had a great girls day out here great games & atmosphere and we had the loveliest member of staff look after us. I-C & Chuks thank you so much for your hospitality
A. R.
Its ok to spend time with the family and/or friends, but you have to pay for every game, they should do a bundle.otherwise the game especially the crazy golf will just finish quickly
N. M.
Went with the kids although they have to leave by 5pm (understandably), but there was plenty of seating, great food and drink and lots of entertainment. Easy to find too.
C. S.
Good. Bar man was impressive in that he remembered all of the drinks!
F. L.
Great place for drinks after work when the weather's nice. Food options are limited, but they do well with what they have.
D. C.
Deray was amazing, she had great energy, it was our first time coming here and she created a good vibes, will defo be coming again!
S. C.
Don't be put off by the smelly old lift to the 8th floor... Great spot in the sun.
J. J.
Nice place, good vibe, like the crazy golf and other activities. Don't forget to book. Closes early.
D. A.
Quick and easy service. Everything ordered through the app. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Lots of things to do, great outdoor space.
T. H.
Pop some windows on that driving range, ask for the big clubs! Have fun...
U. E.
Nice place to visit if you get the chance. It really doesn't feel like you are still at the Stratford Center. Best to come here in the evening during summer.
W. G. (.
Went on a chilly evening but I can imagine this place rocking in summer. Plenty of space and a great escape from the streets below. I’ll definitely be back.
I. B.
Roof East is such a fun location to visit if you not only just want to have a drink on a roof top, there are many games and fun activities available which suits families as well.
C. H. S.
So much fun! You can play games and drink some pretty cool cocktails. Totally recommend for great views of the city.
S.
Good choice of drink and food. Spacious with plenty of seats. Only negative is if it rains. But still a great place to meet friends
M. M.
First time and I can say I've had a good time. Defo recommend
D. O.
Had a great birthday at Roof East. Thanks Chuks and I-C for sorting our Baseball and seats for drinks afterwards!!
I.
great place, love the games and stuff. HArvin gave me good pointers when playing golf and bar staff were nice. Would come back again!
D. R.
It's a very fun place, you have plenty activities and nice foods and drinks, however, please be advised that it will not be cheap. But, you'll have fun.
A. C.
You can have lots of fun here. Quite a few free activities, but the ones you have to pay for can be a bit expensive. Also nice views from the top. And free entry.
M. C.
Great atmosphere and great food. Alcoholic drinks and cocktails are available (if you want something else e.g. juice, I advise you to bring your own).
C. B.
Love this trendy rooftop, when the sun's out! Plant infused cars, and games, it's great!
L. “.
Amazing evening, well thought out venue implenting all the covid rules without it being a chore.. Good music n good times, get up on the roof for some sunshine n good times...
M. v. S. (.
We had a lovely visit a few weeks before Christmas. Lovely vibe, good drinks and lots of fun!
L. S.
In The winter it's cold but still a good place to be.
I much prefer the summer though. Very good music.
Very good food.
S. K.
Another great night at RoofEast watching open air cinema at Rooftop Film Club. Lucky with the weather and blankets most welcome.
T. T.
Cool place on the rooftop of the old shopping mall. Cool place to hang out, whether you want a drink, play some games or even try the open air cinema.
C. D.
Had a great time, enjoyed the batting cage and the crazy golf. Also one of the first bars I've been to in a while where the staff knew what they were doing.
T. C.
Not really anything else like it that I know of. I always enjoy coming here! Good vibes and good food & cocktails, staff are nice. Great place!
A. F.
A fun venue to let your hair down! Staff not the friendliest bit lots of game choices and amazing views of the city!!
J. T.
Fun roof top with lots of activities available. Bar prices arent terrible and food is tasty although perhaps slightly lacking in terms of choice
N. M.
Love it, the perfect place to hang on a sunny summer afternoon. Games, food, beer and good company makes great times. Phenomenal 👌🏽
N. A.
Amazing time, great service! Chuks and I-c were brilliant. Extremely hospitable and friendly and provided everything we asked for. Highly recommend!
R.
Lovely location, deck chair seating with blankets provided, bar. Only negative was the deck chairs became fairly uncomfortable after a while.
D. f.
What a brilliant idea .. we visited on a very hot day ,would of been nice if some of the tables had umbrellas, the marquee was too hot n stuffy .But all in all had a fab time and will definitely be back
M. I. P.
Great rooftop for a fun and chill time .
S. W.
What a great place. Pleasant, chilled atmosphere, music, food, drink, activities, outside cinema, will definitely go again and recommend it.
S.
Assuming we have good weather I would recommend you go. Good food options, decent cocktails and several activities to get involved in
C. W.
Great rooftop bar, tons of games and activities. I just wish the drinks didn't come in plastic cups
C. H.
Golf was good with some selfie hotspots! Great vibes whilst being seated listening to some tunes.
K. S.
Great spot to catch-up with friends. Always a variety of food, drinks, and games. The sundeck chairs are great for summer
S. Y.
Good fun. Well worth visiting. Great decor. A little pricey for drinks though.
M. l.
Get there before it closes for winter. How did I miss this great venue? I didn't know it was there! Won't do that again. It's great just for the sun!
L. R.
Great place with nice food and cool attractions, but absolutely no shade and really expensive drinks with a surly bouncer who demands that you throw all your water away.
A. G.
Nice bar ,nice staff ,good experience 👌
R. J.
Great fun. Plenty of things to do.
m. A.
It was kool. Nice little surprise in the middle of Stratford but a little steep on the prices and there's little shelter from the elements, otherwise nice place to go n chill.
I. B.
Bloodly hell I'm from around this area since the 80's and am only just found out about this place...who do they promote this place to certainly not the real Eastenders...I guess it's for the gentrified crowd...but come next season they will be seeing my black face in the place.
S. H.
Cool venue on a rooftop - lots of games to play like virtual reality foos ball, batting cages, Jenga, mini golf, with food and drinks areas
G. D. (.
Went here for curling event. Was expensive for how long you got. Nowhere to sit inside as packed. Could do with outdoor heaters and bar being open. OK service.
c.
Lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere. Will defo be coming back!
A. H.
Quite a cool place. I wouldn't recommend going there when it is windy though, as there is no glass, fence or anything like that to block the wind.
O. B.
Very nice atmosphere, good food, good cocktails.
A.
Rooftop bar with awesome music and loads of games to play. (Baseball batting cages were great fun) Brilliant in this hot weather👍👍👍
A.
Great setting and a great way to spend time in the evening in East London, prices however to do any activities are extortionate!
A. S.
Nice place, good atmosphere. Bit pricey and no shelter so if weather is bad don't bother!
B. A.
The place itself is amazing and huuuge! (light was not working at the men's urinal so it was dark, but I'm assuming that wasn't the intent)
T. M.
Great place to come on a sunny day. Food, drinks, games, lots of seating. Recommended!
H.
This place is great, found this place for the first time and was not expecting it to be this good however I was wrong. Would deffo recommend going here the views were amazing.

A. P.
Lovely place to chill. Love the games available too. My first time trying out baseball.
E. K.
It was nice .... Better in the summer but dress warm if it's a little cold. Good drinks and food available.
T. R.
It's a shame that places like this can't be open all year. Very good atmosphere, cocktails and staff. And pricy as expected
S. B.
Great place to drink and eat, a real festival vibe.... Just quite pricey. Great staff!
M. B.
Cool bar, mulled cider was delicious. Games are fun and worth doing!

C. P.
Great place to chill but queues can get very long when it's hot!
A. P.
Is OK,stuff to do like mini golf, bowling, baseball but poor selection of drinks
M. S.
Fun place but too loud for old people like me! Turn the music down a smidge and we might stay and drink for longer.
J. G.
Rooftop activities are really good - could do with signposting the entrance better though.
a. m.
Lovely but definitely one for winter. No heaters and no coats was not a good combination.
D. D.
Amazing and one of a kind place. You can chill out under the sky, lots of activities.
O. H.
Solid rooftap club with multiple different bar games and great views.
G. H.
Great venue, easy to get to, drinks, cinema, crazy golf and basketball in a most unlikely location.

Mixologists could learn how to make better cocktails, but an amazing destination for a cool fun night

M. H.
Yes its true this is busy but the food is the best food in the area for me
D.
An island of civility in the centre of Stratford. A little bit expensive, especially the food, but a good time to be had.

Amazing place to go in london! The bad thing was the enourmous cue to go inside of the roof!

Just needs an extra food place or two. And maybe more astro turf. Don't change anything else.

M. H.
Minigolf, pizza, long balls - whats not to love?
M. B.
Wery nice place for first meeting with Lady
C. S.
We had a great evening out at Roof East. It was a bit hard to find the parking lot with all the construction going on but that is no fault of theirs. Once we were in there was plenty of parking though and reasonably priced. There was lots to do on the rooftop including minigolf and lots of food and drink. Great music too and super friendly staff at every stall. We were there to see Magic Mike 2 But there was an issue so they screened Magic Mike 1 instead. The manager was really apologetic though and an email was immediately sent out with rebook options for other showings. That process was nice and easy. In all we had a great evening regardless of the few hiccups
c.
Good place to go as a group
B. G.
Awesome views during the sunset.
A. W.
Great place for chilling with friends!
E. M.
