Reviews of Roundhouse Bar & Cafe

Welcoming bar/diner located inside the Roundhouse. Service is excellent with lots of room to spread out, meet up, socialise or just relax with a hot tea, coffee or other drink.
If you want food, the cafe features modern European flavours served with wine, cocktails and local Camden Town Brewery beer.

It's always a joy to visit....a must for lovers of Camden 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

We couldn't book a table for the bottomless brunch but we were lucky enough to find a place anyway. The service was very good and the staff nice and helpful. Varied and abundant choice of pastries, at least one more option for the unlimited beverages (green tea maybe) would have been appreciated. The mains were tasty but not memorable.

Love the food here. Brunch on weekends is delicious - baked eggs are a must. pancakes with various fruit compotes and bacon are also great.
Dinner is served tapas style and is also delicious. It's right next to the Roundhouse, so a great pre- or post- show meal.
Definitely recommend!

The food is absolutely brilliant, lots of little tasting plates which are innovative and really tasty, I particularly enjoyed giving marks out of ten for each course and placing them all in rank order. This is my favourite place in Camden to eat and an absolute winner. The selection of beers is also good.

Weekend brunch is served from 10.30am - 3pm at this restaurant at the Roundhouse. We came here on a Sunday morning and it was easy to get a table without booking. The coffee is decent and my breakfast choice of the brioche french toast, lime & cranberries compote together with mascarpone was fulfilling. Not the best french toast I have had but good. Staff was friendly though a little slow on the service.

This is a delightful bar with large open space that is welcoming. The decor and staff enhance this experience. It is spacious and a great place to drink for groups. Being situated next to the Roundhouse it caters to the art crowd. With musical and theatrical performances on a regular basis.
It has excellent transport links to navigate and direct people to. There is the good selection of drinks with prices being standard for London. The restroom facilities are well kept and clean.
The bar oozes style and on non-performance nights it provides the atmosphere for socialising. The friendly bar staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is fine, though the bar snacks are probably the better highlight.
I was told on performance nights it can be extremely busy and take on a more party vibe. Giving it that option for those wanting a cosy catch up or party feel.
A highly recommended venue that does not disappoint.

Really relaxing place to escape the madness that is Camden Market. Free wifi, a selection of board games, friendly staff and comfy sofas. It is really worth a visit and is a pleasant alternative to the packed and raucous places just down the road.

Food was sublime. World fusion, local based chefs. Good value, tapas style sharing small plates, about £5-£6 per plate - good portions - can't recommend it highly enough. Fantastic addition to the chalk farm area.

really nice light and airy cafe space, good coffee, plenty of seating and tables, free wifi (no code or sign up faff). I went there to write and the only thing is that perhaps the music is a bit loud for concerntrating but that's fair enough since its a music venue! Would be perfect for working meeting type thing though. Nice calm buzzy atmosphere.

i visited this before attending the front magazine art show, this resturant is not your run of the mill local eateries, the food was nicely done,i tried the wild mushroom and cabbage for starters, followed by the roast pigeon for main, also the service was top notch and wasn't kept waiting for long for service, price overall was reasonable, not going to break the bank, you do need to reserve a table esp at the weekends, can get busy,do try the camden lager, brewed not far from the roundhouse, this place is ideal for pre concert at the roundhouse. overall excellent eaterie, and i will certainly go again.

The brunch is a bit hit or miss, the omelette was very good but the shakshuka seemed to have been made with cheap tomato sauce.
Service was a bit slow, which is a bit unfair since the bottomless tea and toasts is time limited.

Excellent place for parties. Succulent food with wide range of choices. Brilliant customer service with child friendly ambience. A place worth visiting! Good value for money......!!!!

Great lunchtime food deals and excellent atmosphere to while away a few hours. Gets very busy in the evenings (and is closed when there are no shows at The Roundhouse, so check timings)

Great for pre-show dining. Has a diner feel, but food better than expected. Pricier than expected too. Good all around though. Decent menu choice, ok but not super for veg or GF.

Wonderful dishes created in just the right portions and presented well. The service is a bit hit and miss as the staff sometimes seems a bit distracted. But again, food, go for the food!

Great brunch!
Easy to get a table, bottomless toast, pastries and bloody marys (maries?) available. Great weekend spot.
Oh, and free wifi.

Didn't really have enough time to explore the drinks menu and check out the cocktails but they smelt delicious. A good reason to return
