Reviews of Rusty Bike Pub Chingford

Industrial decor pub that serves Thai food (and Japanese food as well). We ordered some drinks and have some Thai food. I am surprised by the attention of details here. The beers are served correctly in the right glasses (which is not common in London). Service is good. You order food with your phone (by scanning the QR code) and the food is delivered to your table quickly by a friendly staff member. I am satisfied with the quality and quantity of food.

I really like The Rusty Bike. The decor is nice, modern and comfortable. The food is great, and there's a brilliant atmosphere full of all ages on a Friday and Saturday night. The staff are good, friendly and efficient. The manager always makes me feel welcome. A special shout has to go out to the doorman Darren - I've been going "out out" for over 20 years, and I haven't met a nicer doorman than Darren, but as well as being a top bloke he also really makes sure the public are safe. The old saying "firm but friendly" is a good phrase for this legend! Thank you Darren for keeping us safe but also for welcoming us into the pub and being a part of the community in Chingford! What a guy. Big luv

One of the best places in the area! Great food, excellent selection of drinks and an atmosphere and decor to match its theme. Fantastic pub where you can watch games or a laid back restaurant - whichever suits you, really. Staff performs at the highest of standards which is a main contribution to the atmosphere. I can’t fault it in any way and I doubt anyone would without having a really hard time. Highly recommended.

A lively atmosphere and can get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Good drinks selection, on the pricier side for Chingford but not outrageous. Often have security on the door checking IDs.

This place is amazing! Can’t believe there is a pub which serves Thai food. Apparently they also serve Japanese food but I went with Thai food instead. The portion was generous on my Tom yam and pad Thai. It’s definitely well presented. Tom yam may not be the best soury spicy taste but good enough to give a kick to my mouth. The location is amazing right opposite the train station. Definitely would recommend people to come here if you would like some Asian Thai or Japanese food.

Thai and Japanese food are surprisingly tasty and authentic ( in particular the Thai) - usually unexpected at dual cuisine eateries. A little on the pricier side but fish was fresh and chicken pad Thai was moorish. As always if there is a game on it might get a little loud.

We've eaten in here a couple of times, and both occasions we loved it. Staff were friendly and efficient and food was delicious - mouth watering again just looking at the photos! A bit of rejigging because of COVID - we booked in advance to reserve a table - would definitely recommend a visit :)

Popular pub . With lots of tv sceens . Nice and spacious. A bit dispointed as there was confusion on what was vegan or not. Bar staff said the green and red curries were vegan . The vegan menu (different from nomal) did not have them. And the serving staff said the curries were not vegan .
