Reviews of Savoy Tap
M. A.
Nice little pub just a flying visit
M. J.
A nice small pub that has a slightly upscale feel to it. Bartender was friendly. There's a decent selection of draft beer and spirits. There is not much seating available.
r. l.
Great atmosphere, great staff, can take a lil while to get served if busy but that expected 👌
R. I.
For a small pub this packs a great atmosphere. Doesnt have cask beer which is a bit dissapointing but they have a good range of beers.
C. S.
Although on the Cask Marque Ale Trail, on this day, because of 'cellar problems' there wasn't any ale to be had - not from pumps anway.
To be candid, waifu and me did notice a distinct 'drains' aroma that came and went during the short time we spent there - hopefully there was no connection between the two.
The staff were affable enough however and the bottle of Shepherd Neams India Pale Ale (6.1% abv) went down very agreeably.
A pleasant out-of-the-way establishment, a little away from the busy streets nearby.
A. P.
Really fancy pub that runs a great comedy show upstairs several nights a week. Nice selection of drinks and a cozy atmosphere.
F. S.
Nice little bar. No Ales on tap only bottled.
D. M.
Love the atmosphere and the music

My family and I visited the Savoy Tup to attend a Laughing Horse comedy competition on Monday night. Great venue, very relaxed and in a perfect location
E. S.
Nice pub down a side road off the Strand. Not very big, but doesn't get rammed out, so never a problem getting served. Beers are well looked after and served at the correct temperature.
j. c.
Off the main road round the corner from the theatre .Good ale in this pub good for a pre theatre drink .
C. A.
Cool pub in the thick of some pretty cool places.
D. S.
I booked out the top floor for a party. The space is huge, you have access to a sound system for playing music, and you get a private bar - no hire charge, just minimum spend! In addition, our bartender for the evening was absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend if you’re booking an event.
J.
Great little bar, it is a chain but it felt unique. Good selection of beers and a tasty mulled cider. The snacks selection was pretty vast too.
I.
Compact and bijou pub, can get exceedingly busy when the weather is good and everyone spills out onto pavement. Only down side is when this happens the interior can be busy and they start serving beer in plastic glasses (which is a hideous state of affairs)

Don't get put off by the average looks of this pub, the staff make this place. The savoy tup has an amazing personality and its all down to the staff they are funny and will have the occasional drink with you.
It's one of my favourite places to drink for this reason. Give it a try and don't forget to buy the bartenders a drink. You won't regret it.
J. M.
It was very quiet when we visited but the lady on the bar was very polite and pleasant to talk to. A good selection of drinks too :P we will be looking at visiting the next time we travel to London.
M. M.
Nice small bar, recently refurbished but with a traditional look and feel, child friendly and in a nice side street near the Strand at the top of Waterloo Bridge. The upstairs room can be hired.
M. C.
We visited on a Saturday evening and it was barely full, which was quite surprising. It appeared recently refurbished and was in very good condition. There was a great selection of bottled beers and draft, definitely worth a visit.
C. O.
Sweet little pub just down a side street. Wasn't too busy on a Saturday night. Good beer, nice staff.
P. F.
My only experience of this pub is as a private hire for a works do, so that's the perspective I'll write from.
We had the whole upper floor to ourselves, which is a cosy bar. They allow you to bring your own buffet and will provide plates and cutlery, which is great - means that all important party budget can be spent on lovely, lovely booze. They have a fair selection, and reasonable prices.
They also have a sound system that an iPod can be plugged into, and a microphone, which came in handy for our quiz.
Overall the staff were friendly, even though we must have left the place in a fair state after our party. They didn't demand an upfront amount, nor set an unreasonable minimum. All in all, a good pub to book for your party, especially if you have a compilation of embarrass party tunes to play rather than the venue's own music.

There isn't much to distinguish The Savoy Tap from the next London boozer. It's prime location on the strand mean you're only a few minutes walk away from Theatreland and Charing Cross tube station. It does the basics right - a selection of beers on tap and wine for the more sophisticated patrons. It does have a bit of character with wood-paneled walls and posters of must-see shows from years gone by from the Savoy Theatre next door. Ultimately, it's a good place to drink and catch-up. Just be weary that it will get busy after-work hours.
M. V. P.
My old local. Will always have fond memories of the Tup. Near the Savoy and the Strand it attracts a trendy crowd made up of local office and hospitality staff and the occasional tourist. Recommended for payday Friday when the place is stacked full and entertainment includes DJs and live music.
M. M.
Small place but clean and tidy with some good lagers. Not too noisy, so it's a good place to meet for a drink and a chat after work.
J. T.
No food, good atmosphere nice drinks.
G. C.

A. G.
One of my favourite pubs in London. Great on warm days as you can stand outside. Very friendly staff.
J. D.
Central venue, pleasant atmosphere and not too crazy busy on a Saturday night. Good selection of beers.
M. H.
Perfect little retreat from the strand craziness during the day but also the best little destination for the evenings always busy and great fun...also the only real proper 'boozer' you will find in the local area

(Translated) A great place for enthusiasts of old pubs with a climate, adequate preparation to take on a weary traveler 😊 you can not eat there at all except for cookies served with coffee but you can drink many drinks 😊😍
I recommend for lovers of small breweries, here you can get such inventions 😊
Often on Saturdays you can come across a stand up on the floor and enjoy the evening
In my opinion, the atmosphere of a London pub is honest
I heartily recommend 😁😊

Klimat Londyńskiego pubu oddany wedle mojej opinii rzetelnie
Polecam serdecznie 😁😊
