Completely awesome bar. Loved the choice of drinks and decor inside. One lady at the bar was so helpful but she appereared to be doing all of the work on her own... other staff were sitting behind bar chatting and laughing when there was a queue of people waiting to be served. Would except better service!

A lovely evening dancing at Simmons in Kings Cross. Lots of great cocktails including the famous "Zombie". The staff were all great and the DJ was excellent. The Venue is two floors and can get cosy however there is seating downstairs and a second bar. A great place to spend an evening drinking and dancing with friends.

The atmosphere was nice, the music was great and the staff was friendly, I totally loved the blonde girl and one of the security guard (he was so funny, this is what we need, not an "animal" guard). The only thing that I wouldn't like is that the place wasn't that clean, as it should be.

Came as part of a Group reservation however the table could only accommodate about half of our group -- this is in their T&C's which is fair enough. Venue isn't the largest but they make up for it with a good vibe, music and a nice selection of drinks -- lots of fun in the end.

We have been there days ago, the drinks are really good and the prices are affordable. The place was quite busy, but Francesca, the supervisor was really kind, she explained us all the menu, as it was the first time for us, and she also helped us on choosing the drinks. I've really enjoyed the place, with good music and great vibe. Drinks are great and reasonably priced, they offer 2 drinks for £10 until 9pm! They accept reservations and have a downstairs room for special occasions.

Small but quite funky. Retro decor and walls covered in beer cans and lampshades. Happy hour offers very good. Cocktails served in teapots and teacups. I went early so not at all busy but there were loads of tables reserved so it would have been busy later that evening. Disco booth by bar and good music playing.

2nd time at Simmons & it's always an interesting place for people watching. Seems very much a B&T crowd - on a Thurs or a Fri - with a decent happy hour from 4-9pm. The space is small with only a few tables inside & a tiny bar in the back (great service though, especially given how busy they get). My favorite time was a late Thurs evening where they were playing some funky Disco tunes on blast by a DJ.

Very small and cramped, even for a Wednesday Night but was a super fun date night and had some great happy hour deals! Loved the atmosphere and the glitter skull disco ball. However has to lose one star for the vile toilets! Females was out of order so the men's got turned into a unisex toiler and the cubicle walls were covered in mold! Very glad I wasn't sober enough to care but they were the stuff of nightmares! Would still visit again, but might just hold it if I need to go!

Wasn't expecting anything like this. This place got a special cool vibe, taking you back to 90s. Bartender was very lovely, positive and joking while making cocktails which by the way was cheap 2 for a 10a. Two floors. Upstairs busier. Downstairs usually quiet, there is 2 tv you can play Nintendo with i think fifa 97 or something and watch old movies on the same time. I've been watching back to the future.

My friend and I came here for a post-lockdown catchup on Wednesday after meeting at King's Cross station. The staff went above and beyond to make our night fabulous, even with our large suitcase. We were greeted by a lovely woman who explained the system well, and service was quick and easy. Such a long happy hour is of course an attraction in itself, and it ends up being cheap in comparison to most other London bars, but the atmosphere and drinks were worth staying for. Whoever arranged the playlist had incredible taste! I really enjoyed the teapot cocktails too, very cute. I believe the lovely staff that accommodated us were called Maisie, Alisha, Missitie, and Alanda- sorry if I've missed anyone out! I'd definitely recommend this little bar, and I can't wait to go again!

Lovely little place for cocktails... Particularly mid-week if you are looking. It is a squeeze so worth getting in early if going for happy hour so you can get a spot. And the bar itself is quite small so be prepared to queue (though it does shift quite quickly). That may vary day to day though. I have no idea what it would be like on a Friday for example. All-around great place for yummy cocktails, chilled atmosphere and a catch up with friends. I'd definitely go again!

I've always loved this place, we rented it out for a private event about 6 years ago too. They have moved the bar around to make more space but it's still very small and cramped - as long as you're prepared for that then it's fine. I noticed the tables were booked so would recommend pre-booking if you don't want to stand. Cocktails are delicious, 2 for £10 before 9pm on a Friday - and staff are super friendly.

Ollie, is amazing! The customer service seriously is 12/10 I didn’t expect it. Such a small venue but has all the beverages that you need. The teapot cocktails are to die for! If you can make your way to the bar, it really is an atmosphere! The staff are lovely, especially Ollie, every person I’ve spoken to has made me feel like l’m at home! I want to return ASAP! This is a really small bar! Quirky nostalgic decor. Happy hour makes it a decent after work option, however at busy times you may wait a while to get a drink. Bar is big enough for 2, max of 3 to serve. If everyone orders cocktails you might be waiting a little while. The bar staff the night I was in weren’t the friendliest and the downstairs room is very dark. Prob downstairs is better the later it gets.

On arrival the venue isn't much to look at, not overly clean facilities. That said, we had booked a table downstairs for a work function for 18 people, the service and atmosphere were very good, the drinks were very reasonably priced. The manager Jason could not of done more for us of the course of the evening. Would recommend.

This place can actually be a great spot for a quiet drink just after opening, they do a good value for money happy hour. Its lively and fun much later at night but gets unpleasantly full making it hard to get to the bar and get a drink. The toilets downstairs need upgrading for sure. Interesting basement space that seems empty a lot of the time, I think one can hire it for private parties.

Nice bar, with good dancing music. The area in the basement was way too warm. It is quite a small place so you should expect it to be really crowded on a Saturday night. Bartenders were nice but weren't really paying attention who should be served first. There was only 1 toilet for women the other one had some sewage issues, which did give a disgusting view. Other than that I had a good night mostly thanks to the music and atmosphere.

The only reason there are 5 stars is because everyone who leaves a 5 star review gets a free shot. On a Friday night, they allow way too many bookings. I booked for 10 and they said there wouldn’t be seating for 10, but there would be space for us which was fine. What they mean is if you stand like a sardine, then you can fit 10 in that space (everyone without a booking was also standing there). We were downstairs and there was a booking for 25 people in addition to the other bookings on the other side of the room (this room is lucky to fit 25, let alone with other people down there). Their happy hour is generous, but they aren’t very specific about it. It literally says spirit and mixer but I got a jack and coke (and mentioned I was doing the happy hour one) and all he asked was if I wanted to upgrade to a double and I wasn’t told until I was served that Jack wasn’t included in the spirit category (how was I supposed to know that?). Overall, I wouldn’t book here again and don’t suggest it to others but would come for a drink - probably not on a Friday night.

Although quite small this bar has a fun & buzzing atmosphere and they know how to make pretty impressive cocktails. 2 for £10 offer on selected cocktails (between 4pm and 9pm) makes it an excellent value for money. We ordered one of their cocktails called "Punch to the Head" it came in a massive glass scull with very long straws. After a few sips, I was ready to dance the night away :) They also serve cocktails in teapots and top hats, which is really cool! Bar staff were friendly and efficient. Funky decor and good old school music :)

Honestly, didn't expect to have such a good night in here. This bar is so unassuming, but amazing. Darren is the most attentive Manager i have everr met! He will treat you like a regular even if its your first time. Jordan on the door, so friendly and respectful but he wont allow people to ruin the vibe inside! Come to Simmons, it closes at 3!!!!! We came here for a few drinks before dinner elsewhere, and although it was very quiet, we can definitely see why this place is popular. The decor is great with school desks as tables and various nods to the 80s (including an old school console downstairs and a tv showing back to the future, presumably on repeat). The real draw here though are the prices - £2.50 for wine and beer for 5 glorious hours and £10 for 2 cocktails. Just bear in mind that the beer and wine prices do not apply on a Saturday, and if you're getting the cocktail deal they have to be 2 of the same. The only reason why the place loses a star from me is because the staff seem cold and disinterested. Maybe that's just me but I believe a smile goes a long way and we didn't get a single one from the bartender, nor a greeting, nor any conversation. And again, after ordering drinks I approached a staff member and asked if there was seating downstairs too and he looked extremely annoyed at having to speak to me and only answered with a curt 'yeah.' I think if the attitude could be improved this bar would be a 5 star option for a cheap and fun night out in London.

Great decor and brilliant cocktails - happy hours deals are also really good. I would recommend booking a table as it can get quite crowded. One minus: the music can get pushed a bit too loud in the evenings, making communication simply impossible after a certain point.

Holy smokes this place is tiny. The stairs to the bathrooms and the downstairs bar are very narrow and ever so slightly uneven which is not ideal when you've had a few. Because of its size it gets very hot and although the bartender was very helpful and tried to turn on the A/C, it didn't make much of a difference. Prices are good - very long happy hour with cocktails at 2 for £10 (as opposed to ~£8 each normally) and a spirit and mixer for £2.50. Although I'm pretty sure I paid a lot more... I hate to say it, but this is the worst Simmons in the area. Hop on the Northern line from Kings Cross and go to the one in Camden Town - it's much bigger and less rickety in the stairs department.

Nice bar but WAAAAAAAY TOO SMALL! My friend and I bought our cocktails, there was no seating upstairs so we went downstairs and wondered into a private party by accident. So went to sit on the bench outside, but no drinks allowed outside??? So the only option we had was to stand next to the toilets. Needless to say we necked our cocktails and moved onto a better bar!

Nice bar easy accessible with public transport and at walking distance from King's cross. It is as overpriced as the usual pubs in London so it is no mistery that drinks are quiet expensive. Notably, there are happy hours organised in the evening that will provide you with wine and cocktails at a very affordable price. I would suggest this place as a very good choice to start the evening in the right way. Only downside the music: way too loud especially downstairs making conversation complicated.

I visited Simmon's bar in King's Cross after being to the Mornington Crescent branch a few too many times. Although in all I'd say they are about the same size, this branch felt roomier and I preferred the atmosphere. It has the same happy hour 4pm until 9pm which is really good. We booked a table for 4, and had to put our card details behind the bar, which we would have been charged £40 for if we did not attend. Wasn't keen on doing this but I guess they have to do it. The cocktails are always great here but the table we were sat at had the air con blasting at us all night, so was a bit chilly with icy cold drinks and that. I'd definitely return though, probably over the Mornington Crescent branch.
