Amazing bartenders, very quick service on a weekday evening, just for them I’d give a 5/5. The drinks tasted great, we tried the Aperol Spritz, Piña Coladas & Sex on the beach drinks. Fries were okay.

It's a Slug and Lettuce. You know what to expect. Not too busy at the time we visited. Had nice seat in the window, to people watch. The young lady serving behind the ar, was really friendly and cheerful. Pleasure to be served by her. Have visited previously when in London and will visit again.

Had bottomless brunch for my friends birthday yesterday, were looked after by the amazing Chanel (hope that's spelt right!). AMAZING service, so friendly and attentive, made sure that we always had drinks, never forgot anything & no mistakes etc which is amazing as we were a group of 12 and there were several other groups too! ONLY thing was (literally no-ones fault at all) was that it was my friends bday so would've been nice for the staff to bring her something like a cake or a candle etc but they said they didn't do it there!! really good though great value for money

No stranger to S&L but was my first time at the Hanover branch and it certainly won't be my last. Chanel was an absolute STAR and showed my friend and I an amazing time and was really looked after! Its been a while since I experienced such great service and she was very glamorous whilst doing it! Had the bottomless brunch on NYE which was a lot better than I expected - food options were great, drinks even better and the music was popping! Can't thank you enough and I'll definitely be back! I would like to say a massive thank you to Ross! If he is making your drinks than you are in for a good night. Despite being busy he made sure that he paid enough attention to your table without being over bearing and ensure that we always had a drink at hand.

We got there early, there we only two other customers, the staff were polite, courteous and chatty, the beer was OK but the lager could be a bit colder for my wife's Brazilian tastes. The food fantastic, the cheese and bacon burger was one of the best I have ever had. The fish and chips equally as good if not better the batter light and not greasy and the fish cooked to perfection.

My new go to place when up west. They are very busy, so did really well and they treated us very well. Chanelle is the manager I think - if not, she should be, and Mimi treated us with smiles and a personal touch. the prices were good, think it was a happy our period, but pretty good for the west end. We only had chips, but they were very nice, i.e. there was plenty of them, and they didn't taste like some cheap frozen supermarket brand. Will defo be back!

Bottomless bunch- the cocktails on the menu were very limited. Would've much rather had the cheaper cocktails on the normal menu. Was sat round the corner from the main dining area which meant we had to regularly go find the waitress to get additional drinks

Confused bartender, waitress was walking around and eating chips. Toilets are full of toilet paper on the floor and some door frames are broken. No long straws for long glasses, didn’t have celery sticks for Bloody Marys. When I was visiting it was very cold in the room, no heating. Staff didn’t stop people shouting and not attentive.

Cocktails were tasty, 2-4-1 is great. However the food was average and we had an issue with whether the chicken was undercooked. We got the chicken sharer. The waitresses and manager were very helpful with the situation but the chef insisted it was supposed to be the pinky colour despite it also being very squidgy. The manager gave us a refund and there was no fuss. So overall not a bad experience.

Popped in with my wife for some cocktails. Great interior but falls short on the staff which was inattentive - it was 4pm and it wasn't busy. Was a bit disappointing to wait at the bar ignored and then being served after someone else who just arrived. Had Pina colada and it took the bartender less 30 seconds to make? I think it was pre-made which is absurd to pay over £10 for. It's a nice place to pop in for a snack and a beer but avoid the cocktails as you will be disappointed especially when there are others in that area that make better drinks.

The food was fantastic, there was plenty to go around and lots of variety. The cocktail class was really fun and Jack the instructor went out his way to make it special for the hen. Overall it made our night and would definitely recommend it.

After asking were we can have a seat we were brought upstairs. BUT.... Then.... We waited and waited and waited. Apparently no one informed us that we have to order downstairs at the bar. So I went down to ask and to order. I also was really disappointed that after ordering the food and drinks it is my task to take the drinks and cups with me. I don't understand the strategy of such a restaurant. The food was brought at the table. The summary of our visit was nice place, nice looking, good food but not a place we would visit again. Not very family friendly.

Came here just after lunch time for a quick bite and a coffee on a Sunday, while waiting for Apple to fix my phone. The service was lovely and the food (wrap) was a great portion and well priced. I came back for a coffee and had the pleasure of reading my book for an hour or so without feeling as if I was intrusive. The decor is lovely and music not too loud. Was approximately 50% capacity inside with patrons but never too loud.

From the time of booking all through the event itself, the staff here went the extra mile to accommodate us and make sure we had a great afternoon. The cocktails were amazing, and I couldn't have been happier with the service. My only regret is that we had to move on to our next event so soon! Definitely coming back!

Very accomodating though as it was chilly outside and their air condition was on cold, my friends mentioned this at the bar and they turned it down for us. On the whole an average experience. Loved the Ab Fab cocktail with the sweets. The only reason it's not 5* is because i had to chase a barman to find my reserved table. I know it's a bar, but it would be preferable to have a staff member to attend to people that have a reservation, rather than standing awkwardly, or finding someone to seat you. This recently renovated looking bar is very popular with the evening crowd, being ideally placed for after-work drinks. This is no doubt due to the friendly, effective staff and their great range of lagers, wines and appealing menu. Recommend getting in early if you want a table, but there is also room upstairs too.

My +1 was very demanding and the staff smiled and solved minor problems, very patient and professional. Recommended for lunch. There is a £6 meal which isn't large but it's big enough for lunch. Good location, easily accessible. Orders are taken at the bar counter and served to the table. Toilets are clean, no queue. Music not too loud. Pay card or cash. Optional service charge, can be added to card payment as well. Relaxed atmosphere, casual tourists and locals. Good food.

Always love and have loved 50% Mondays and the Ultimate Platter (comes with pretty much everything deep fried). Not your usual pub as frequented by all walks of people but has some football broadcast on important match days. This particular bar has removed table service and unfortunately the quality of the food has suffered.

Cons: Ridiculously slow bar staff (4 Mojitos took 12 minutes), unavailability of many cocktails because they ran out of several ingredients. Prices seem normal for London but all our drinks were 90% ice, therefore not so great value.

This place was pretty cool, I would of given it 5 stars except for the fact my wife ordered a chicken tortilla salad and on the menu it does not say anything about it having avacodo, which she is deathly allergic to. And when I went to tell the waitress she give a rude look as if it was our fault. They brought back the salad but they had only removed it from the same salad. Remnants of avacodo was still present on the chicken. I took it back downstairs and the bartender took care of the issue by completely redoing the salad. Very good food though. Next time I will give them a list of my wifes allergies to avoid any misunderstandings.

We were on a shopping trip in London, needed lunch but didn't want to pay silly money and just happened to spot the Slug & Lettuce just off Regent Street on the way up to from Hamleys from Oxford Circus. We found a nice cozy layout inside. We sat downstairs but there is a second floor of tables. You find your own table then go to the bar and place your food/drinks order. We didn't wait too long for our meal, which wasn't bad for eating out cheap in the center of London.
