The total experience was less than "meh," but I'm having a good evening, so I'll be kind. Let's start with the fact that my husband and I had to book a table 24 hrs in advance since- I guess- they don't take walk-in customers. Upon arrival, we were led to a seating section where we sat for over 20 minutes thinking a server would come. Luckily, we were having such good conversation that we didn't realize no one had shown up. It wasn't until I noticed the menu's QR code for the order and pay app, that I assumed we had to take care of ordering and paying on our own (I actually like that part). We placed the order for some drinks, and four food items (all small plates/ sides). Even then, after quite some time had passed, we kept having to ask for our food that would come out two by two. The wings were okay, our garlic bread was not cooked (just had grill lines), and there was about another twenty or so minutes that went by before the fries and croquettes were brought to the table. It was almost like someone forgot to make the food. All in all, we wanted to try this place because the one near the London Eye looked alluring, but this location was within walking distance to our hotel. Now I know that this spot must be for the drinks and mood, especially since most of the food items were "sold out." I guess I would recommend for only drinks if you go around 7pm or later.

Had such a good time here! Daniel with the red hair, is the best cocktail mixer Ive ever experienced! He made me feel great being in his presence! He was polite and quick with drinks and has outstanding serving skills! Will be definitely be coming back here!

Friendly staff, they let us in 45mins to closing time. Although our drinks didn't come until 10mins to closing time. This would have got 4 stars because this is a nice spot and the staff were friendly but I'm only giving only 3 for the long wait for just 3 cocktails. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Otherwise, probably coming back at a more convenient time as this was quite the impromptu visit.

Visited slug and lettuce after watching wicked with the family. We were able to get seated quickly and found the drinks very affordable. My wife and daughter couldn’t decide what to order and Tegan was happy to explain the different cocktails and beers on offer. Surprised at finding a bar so friendly in the middle of London! Awesome food, great atmosphere. Really fab service from Keneshia, who made our night. Also, Liv went above and beyond to help us get the Charged Up machine working so that we could charge our phone - she was busy and swept off her feet but still went out of her way to help keep our phone juice up, and that was really appreciated.

Keneshia gave a warm and lovely welcome to 4 scottish girls on a trip to London! She was very prompt and the only one i observed ensuring tables were cleaned and took plates and glasses when we were finished, where other staff members who delivered drinks, didn’t take away empty glasses. After sightseeing in London my husband, Son & I got hungry so we looked around & chose Slug & Lettuce. The waitress was AMAZING, we ordered our drinks, then we ordered our food, she DID NOT WRITE IT DOWN! yet when our food was put on our table everything we ordered was there!! Amazing!! Teegan was a great host! I recently visited for my hen do over the weekend and we had the best time at slug & lettuce. There was a few things that didn’t go to plan which was down to the hen company’s fault however the manager and Teegan were all over it and made sure we still had the best time. The only downside is the fact there was a dripping pipe right where we were sat, so we had to keep dodging it every time it would drip. Also the decor??? I occasionally visit there to meet Deaf and hearing signers on Wednesday. Friendly faces. 😃 Staff these days are a bit slow making cocktails, making people queue up for drinks, but it’s not too much of an issue. If you want to buy a drink, don’t join the queue but walk up to the bar.

Expensive chicken pieces served with a smudge of BBQ and then I had to ask 3 members of staff before someone brought me a tiny dish of more sauce because they dont have it on the side along with other sauces like ketchup and mayonnaise. One of my favourite places. 2 for 1 cocktails all day every day is one of the reasons I usually choose the place. Good location, small seating area and bar, food is good with plenty of options (vegetarians can find a decent choice of plates). Weekends around 4pm it starts getting busy with people getting ready for a night out. Only complain i have, bar service is usually pretty slow so be ready to wait.

Slug & Lettuce Piccadilly Circus has a great atmosphere. Their great meals and their 2 for 1 cocktails are and added bonus as-well as very reasonable prices. Very Friendly staff with an amazing venue. Would definitely visit again when I am in the area. Keep it up S&L.

Chain pub situated in a great location, surrounded by shops and things to do. The pub itself is really nice and clean inside. The upstairs was closed so I didn't get see what it was like. Ordered the scampi and chips. Unfortunately both the chips and peas were undercooked. Some of the scampi were good but the majority were watery. Friend was unable to get some olive oil with his salad, which was odd, but not a big deal. I usually never have a problem with Slug & Lettuce so this isn't a common thing. However I had never been to this particular one before. Staff were nice enough and happy to help.

I had a nice festive evening back in December. My girlfriend booked a table for drinks at 6pm, upon arriving the manager took us to a small table right by the door. He then had to ask a family to move from it before seating us, the whole situation was quite awkward and the table really wasn't what you would expect from a reservation. The cocktails were up to the high standard you would expect from this chain however we decided to try the food and were told that they were not serving food at this time as it would be an hour plus wait. All in all it was a lovely night overshadowed slightly by hunger and people shuffling past our table all evening.

We usually go quite often to Slug&Lettuce and even though I know it's not their fault for the new rules, I felt that it should have been handled in a different way,maybe emphathising more. I was just seeing a friend after 2 years and decided to have some drinks. When we arrived,we'be been asked to download the app and complete the track&trace if we want to go inside and that we wouldn't be allowed in before doing it. I know it's difficult for everyone and so many rules everyday,but we should emphathise more and understand that no one is used with this situation and sometimes this can be overwhelming.

Visited at a popular time - early Saturday evening. Typical waiting to be served issues that you get with bars that do cocktails. We ordered a bottle of Merlot which was £20 which yes is pricey but considering where we were wasn't extortionate by any means. The seating area sadly was untidy and obviously hadn't been checked on in a while so spills, empties n general post punter rubbish/mess was around. We did find a table but had to wipe up the existing mess just to ensure we didn't get dripped on. Music was playing softly in the background to sift to make a difference to the atmosphere. Would have got 4/5 if seating area was a little more looked after especially for that time of day.

We booked a cocktail masterclass for our 49 something hen. As soon as we went in we were looked after beautifuly by the staff. We had our masterclass in the bar upstairs ,which was closed to everyone else, this was great as we could really let our hair down! Our Mixologist Chris mad our experience so special as he explained about the history of each cocktail and how to make them correctly,then we were welcomed behind the bar to make ours, we truly had an amazing time. The package included a 3 course meal, so was great value too. Thank you for making the experience so much fun, and a huge thank you to Chris.

We ate and drank here on 19th April 2014 and can say that the food was very good and the service was excellent, we waited a little bit for the food to arrive, however before we felt the need to ask about it, our waitress came and apologized for the delay, the food came out fairly swiftly after that and was well worth the wait. When the bill arrived they had taken money off for the inconvenience, we had no intention of asking for this because we felt they had been upfront about the issue and spoke to us. A great experience. I've frequently visited this Slug and Lettuce and will surely return again. Located in prime position just to the north of the tourist hell of Leicester Square, on the border of China Town and close to Soho; but somehow missed by most of the hoards, it's almost a refuge in the centre of town. Ok, it's not deserted but I don't believe I've been when it's been jammed to the rafters either. I've only attended in order to watch football matches and the multiple screens have usually served us well. I believe they have also offered 3D matches, which we partook in once, this was fun and only involved a deposit for the glasses, but I haven't seen this offered again, I may simply have missed it. The food service is good and not bad at all for pub fare, the pub is generally clean, has an interesting and tidy layout, the service is polite and prompt also. I can't really fault the place and as I said, I shall return.

Fine as a bar/pub but had to ask for the bar staff to finish pouring my pint of guiness as he wandered off half way through (I know it is poured in two stages) but started to serve others then went to set tables took almost 10 min to get my pint.

Good service and polite staff but not a large amount of seats unfortunately. They do have more upstairs but it's not always open so call ahead of you have a large party and don't want to be disappointed. They have a great selection of drinks and their food is pretty good as well.

Go on a Monday, half price food and 2 for 1 cocktails, we had two 10oz ribeye steaks with sauce, extra sweet potato fries and 2 cocktails for 27 quid. And the steaks were even good too

If you've eaten at a Slug and Lettuce you should know the drill by now, expect decent food if nothing ground breaking. I'll give them credit for their nachos starter, being made of whole baked tortilla rather than generic corn-chip crisps did impress me a bit. However the chicken marinara sandwich was a big disappointment, avoid it if you dine with S&L. The staff was both prompt with service and understanding when we dithered over ordering, the tables we full but we seated quickly and didn't feel packed in. 3 stars for your day to day service, add another star for the Monday club featuring half price meals.
