It’s a really cost effective place for a date, bar staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, I also brought one drink that came with candy floss! Right outside the Gerkin, lovely atmosphere (+ lighting!) and welcoming entry, we had the 2 for 1 drinks and they're pretty great and affordable. Can imagine this would be a great after work spot with the work colleagues once we all return back to the office on a regular basis. Also good spot if you're leaving spitalfield market or leaving the sky garden and so on.

Really bright and airy venue. Very warm welcome from the team and great menu options for everyone. As a vegan I was spoilt for choice and settled on the moving mountains plant based burger which was delicious, I would order it again but next time I think the Mac and Cheeze. Was really busy but they didn't have enough bar tenders. So took a while to get your order in. But it was a good atmosphere and it was 2 for 1 cocktails from 4pm onwards so I expected a wait. They go from a warm atmosphere to a night out atmosphere with the dimming of lights around 6.

I'm a fan of Slug & Lettuce, but this particular one was far from good. Booked a table for dinner, after arriving at the restaurant had to wait 20 minutes for at least someone to show up and show us to the table. Waitress was simply rude, which just ruined the whole vibe, and couldn't care less, plus while on the way showing us to the table, spend a minute hugging and chatting with her friend. Then waited 40 min for our order to be taken and another 35 for it to arrive. Also, it turned out they forgot to write down the starters, so we had mains straightaway. 3 stars for nice food and polite guys at the bar, who at least apologised.

We were there during happy hour and 241 cocktails were great. The food portions were generous and tasty, the nachos could have some with some more cheese though. The main negative however was the volume of the music, we were there on a Thursday evening and we had to tell to be heard over the music, it was unnecessarily loud!

Liked it enough to stay for a couple of pints. A bit pretentious if I'm honest, not normally my type of establishment. Lots of silver bling about the place. Gave it all a certain look of...well...vagazzle. Typical London prices. Only had drinks so I can't comment on the food. Had Peroni at £5.30 a pint. Was an attractive young woman walking around at 6 pm trying to sell Jaeger bombs. Bit early. Directly opposite The Gherkin, convenient if you have a booking and are a bit early.

What a great place setting was beautiful and Jamie our bartender couldn't do enough for us. Prosecco very reasonably priced and 2 4 1 cocktails what more can you want. Thanks Jamie 😊 🍹🍾🥂

I was brought to slug and lettuce for a bottomless brunch for my 40th at 11am with my cousin! We were served great food and Kerry served us the whole time and it was constant and never a time we had an empty drink. So happy with the place and service 🙌

Unfortunately for the first time a very disappointing trip to my work favourite location. Food ordering was a nightmare with my order not taken correctly and attempt to resolve the servicer never came back to me. Have regularly used this place for years as a great place for lunch and drinks with friends and colleagues but will have to re think this for future lunches.
