An amazing tiki bar, the service was sublime, the staff are so attentive and friendly without being overwhelming, took our order and serviced us delicious drinks without having to queue at the bar, even we didn’t have a table booked. The place was packed but somehow we still had our own comfortable space to enjoy the evening. Highly recommend the Melon Breeze and the Rum Runner. If anything, I would say it was a bit on the loud side, but that’s a personal preference and didn’t really effect the awesome time we had 😃 Big thank you for the hall team!! We will definitely be going for seconds!!

The barman is very very good, he makes spectacular drinks and he made the best drink I’ve ever had ! and takes care of everything down to the smallest detail… !!! Every time I go they are all nice and they make themselves available on everything… the drinks are excellent, of various tastes, glasses all colored. The place is very youthful, with music. I come here for the great drinks, good music! Highly recommended !

A Tiki themed bar with lots of choices of cocktails which gives off a fun tropical vibe! They have 2 floors and many indoor and outdoor seatings , 2 bars and 1 dance floor which is located downstairs. Great place to drink, eat and party! Lots of fun during the weekends. Weekdays tend to be alot quieter. Drink prices are alittle pricey on the non happy hours days but it's also worth the price as they sell some cocktails in unique cuppings and decorations which matches the theme Tiki. Recommended to party goers!

We got the £110 package that included 10 cocktails & 3 sharing platters . It is a great deal and our waiter was super attentive , he let us choose which drinks we wanted to have as part of the package deal and which we had as part of the happy hour deal .When happy hour had finished at 8pm, 2 of the people I was with had went out for a smoke , he had waited for them to come back to see if they had wanted anything else even though it was past the time, which I thought was nice . We had about 16 cocktails between the few of us and all of them tasted nice as other places I’ve been to before have been strict about that. Summer sling cocktail was particularly refreshing . The lamb cutlets and Spanish chorizo that we had as a part of the sharing platters were also delicious and deserve a special mention . Some of the cocktails did have a bit too much ice which will definitely water down your drink if you like to take your time . The cocktail list is also huge and has a massive variety , they even do classics cocktails that aren’t on the menu. All the songs that were played were also great tunes . Overall great experience , I will be definitely coming back .

Cocktails were nice but food was mediocre. We were seated downstairs and so we had a limited drinks menu which we thought was not fair. 8 of us attended and had to squeeze on a small table in the corner. The staff member that served us was very friendly however and we had a good time. The dj needs some work. Tunes were dead.

Tasty drinks, a bit pricy after 11pm thou. Great music and friendly staff and bouncers. You can book a table free of charge too. Small dance area but still awesome to visit. Will come again definitely and recommend for sure.

We came across the sugar cane bar by accident. It looked quite quirky, so we thought we'd give it a go! It was early and only one staff member at the time on duty. The young man could not have been more friendly or helpful. We enjoyed a few drinks and tapas which was really good! The particular music which seemed to be on a loop was a little questionable! We were assured they do play a variety, and that was just the days choice. A good relaxed atmosphire, very casual and eady going after a few hours tramping around the area. Should I return to the area again, I would definitely go back!

Great vibe and a top venue for a good laugh. The decor and atmosphere is lively, and you can tell they have pulled out all the stops to make this novelty bar king of the hill. The drinks are great fun, the cocktail list really brings the party, and the treasure chest is king. I would say they get a bit sickly quite quickly but if you can't get enough sugar on board then this tiki themed bar will give you a good time for a long time! Lovely Mauritian stocked beers a nice touch too. Sega away!

Definitely the place to go to in the area. Everybody from the manager to the bartenders are really cool and provide excellent service. Interior really gives a tropical vibe, plus the music that never disappoints. Go here if you want to try a wide arrangement of cocktails, meet beautiful people and dance to great music. I always do.

Drinks and tapas were awesome! We didn't like the policy of taking the card 'for security', I would rather pay straight away. We were actually told that this is in case if we would run away....(wow) And also we've been asked about three times if the deposit has been payed. Don't know... didn't like that 😕

The bar has an offer of amazing drink choices, reasonable prices. The atmosphere is out of this world followed up by great music playlist for all tastes. Ultimately when u order a double rum coke it actually tastes and feels like a double rum coke. Five stars all day long!

Amazing place I have decided to check this place with my friends as I have heard so much about it and I was very pleasantly surprise. They had lots of choices of drinks, we decided to try cocktails. Cocktails were nicely presented. Me and my friends really enjoyed the evening at Sugar Cane, we had a really fun night as music was amazing, the place itself was really nice. The bar had two floors, the top being more a lounge and the bottom floor was more for dancing. The manager was really polite and came over to check if everything is good with our drinks and whether we are having nice time. The service was high standard, the staff was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend to my friends to visit Sugar Cane and I would definitely return with my friends.

Really nice bar with amazing food and cocktails HOWEVER due to everything going on with covid I felt like it was important to write a review on there measures as pre visiting I hadn't seen a review including them. I visited on a Friday night at around 4 while it was really quiet however as the evening went on it got increasingly busy. The music was extremely loud and everyone was chatting in massive groups (people not part of the same table booking). The queues at the bar were also crazy with no distancing at all. I had a very good night however in the morning I did wake up and felt like I should write a review to let people know about the situation there as I don't want people to turn up expecting the place to be really covid safe when in all honestly it is exactly the same as It used to be. Can't wait to visit again when this is all over but won't be making a trip back until then.

Booked here for my 30th. They were really accommodating and even treated us with shots. Absolutely loved it and felt secure about the booking as they asked to confirm numbers close to the date. They even did table service and didn't ask for a booking fee. The vibes were great and the venue was beautiful with all the tiki props. Best venue I've booked for a birthday yet. Thanks Sugar Cane! Will be back for more reasonably priced cocktails for sure.

Good selection of cocktails, but nothing else really. Recommend going for the happy hour as they serve cheap cocktails and bottled beers. Just watch out, as the bartenders are probably ripping people off. Asked for a double whisky at the bar and they poured not even the equivalent to a single shot, literally in front of me.

I booked an area for 30 people for my birthday at the end of July. I was a bit apprehensive as I don't normally go out in Clapham and didn't know where to go. I went to Sugar Cane because of the excellent reviews it had had recently. I arrived at about half 8, it was already very busy but my area had been reserved with no problems. The staff were very friendly and there is a fantastic atmosphere. We left about half 11 and it was still very lively. The overall theme and drinks menu ties in very well together and me and my friends had a fabulous time. Would definitely recommend to anyone. It might be a bit loud if you wanted a casual drink and a catch up with the gals but it perfectly suited my needs and I will be back!

Since our project team was moved to Clapham we've been regulars at Sugar Cane. It's an easy going place and staff have ways been super accomodating. The cocktails are exotic, tasty and strong. The beer is cold, the music fun and the food and nibbles outstanding.

Very nice place with interesting interior resembling a tropical island. Cocktails are pretty decent and some are served in funny, "tropical" glasses. You can order drinks online using your phone and they deliver them to your table, which is awesome! Cocktail prices are around 7 - 10 pounds and on selected weekdays you can get 2 for 1.

I am a regular at sugar cane and it's one of my favourite bars in London. I live fairly locally and the cocktails are first class, all made from scratch and taste amazing. Though it would be good of it was slightly brighter during the week The atmosphere is very chilled during the week, perfect for a catchup or a date. A great place, I recommend!

One of the best cocktail bars in Clapham. I was taken here by a friend who swore by it, and as soon as the drinks started pouring, I totally understood why she loved it. The service was fantastic, seriously fun and chatty staff, and the drinks! Oh, the drinks. Hilarious decor, friendly bar staff, accommodating kitchen (allergy concerns), very good happy hour deals. I can't make this a five-star review because every drink we got in after Happy Hour ended was sadly too weak and a bit too sweet. I love classic tiki cocktails, but the point of all that juice and sugar is to be able to counteract a proportion of alcohol that should make an impact. If they are restricted to certain legal measures of alcohol, they should make the entire drink smaller to better balance it. The tapas were nice but not amazing. Salmon was well cooked, charcuterie was nice, but the halloumi was much too thick and hadn't been left on the grill long enough.
