We visited on the 16th of December. The food was good, and the place was clean, but what really got me was how nice and kind the staff working here was. In particular, I wish I could remember the name of the girl who dealt with my order! She has been so nice it brightened my day! So a well deserved 5-stars for the service 👏 👏👏

I have made points before ordering chips, every time we order they put leftovers full of oil chips small dry once under in the bowl and on the top placing nice proper good looking chips, i asked today please i want for my child and do not do that again , we pay so deliver quality not leftovers... guess what, second order this is what they brought up. I complained about it, Manager never came and never apologise also no any genuine sorry. Disappointed!!

Great atmosphere bar staff really welcoming and friendly. But the member of staff that shine out for me was George . He went above and beyond with my grandson and his allergies. Really like this pub, especially the wine and Prosecco choices, Prosecco is a great price, enjoyed the food, you do not go away hungry, was served by George who was friendly and efficient, love a barman who watches his crowd and knows who’s next to be served !!!

A great spot for live music and sports, I visited the other day with friends and our visit was made with assistance from Aimee behind the bar on which cocktails to pick. A lovely venue with friendly staff and good selection of food and drinks!

If you are missing Trafalgar Square for pigeons, then come to Tally ho, for photo sessions, play with pigeons, specifically your kids will love it. My Grand daughter played for about hour and still wanted feed and play. Also on high Street so great ☕ coffee and food you will just love Finchley.

A unique experience. Seeing punters watch football on the TV, while a DJ curates a playlist of Hip-Hop songs, and girls offer free jager-bombs. So it's like a buffet. You start the night with some sipping drinks and nibbles, then progress to the tipsy stage where you shout at the football without knowing which team is playing and then when you reach British levels of inebriation, you then proceed to go on the dance floor. Finishing the night with a £50 Uber back to whichever part of London you reside in. Definitely an interesting experience.

Me and my two children had a lovely time at the Tally Ho. Floyd a member of the team was extremely helpful, making sure we was okay and we was happy with our food. This is one of our local pubs and the food has always be good and the price is even better. My daughter has autism so finds it difficult to be around lots of people but we chose to sit upstairs where it is more quiet and she enjoyed her experience there, which is not always the case in other places we have been.

It was my first time visiting Tally Ho and i can honestly say, as someone who has been to many pubs, the quality of service at Tally Ho was exceptional. A special shout out to Hakeem, Floyd and the two security guards who were extremely friendly and welcoming, while performing their jobs to a high standard. Even though we came at 11:30pm, they made sure that if we needed anything at all we just give them a call. It was nice to be at a pub which had such a strong community feeling. I will definitely be coming again. I recommend this pub to everyone.

Great Pub that has emerged out of Lockdown like a Rocket. Friendly helpful staff. We arrived as a family with an elderly disabled lady, as well as our dog. The pub catered for us with ease. The food was great and staff were on the ball. We will return often. Thank you.

Good location close to Central bus station for routes around NW London. Clean and tidy traditional London pub and well done for staying open as sadly many of this gems are disappearing. We were very disappointed when we 1st arrived as this used to a Wetherspoon pub (& we LOVE Wetherspoon Pubs!) & now is under new ownership. Interior has been updated (1st floor restaurant area) nicely & staff service was outstanding (but we were the only customers there at the time!). But menu choices not as large as Wetherspoons was & didn't taste as good either (but not bad by pub standards!). Deducted 1 star due to more expensive bill & the reduced choice. But still worth a visit IMHO.

Bar service you can't fault. They are friendly, welcoming and very prompt. The kitchen however another story. They are slow, forgetful, and presentation is awful. We ordered stake, by the time the peppercorn sauce arrived the meal was finished. Shocking. Before this became a stonegate pub (previously a Wetherspoons) it was a "fun" place to go to and the atmosphere was always good. Now just full of men of an older generation.

One of my favorite places here in London. The food is fantastic. They have a separate seating area upstairs. Loving their view from there. Big windows with tons of light coming in. The staff is really friendly, everything is really clean and the food comes quite fast, between 5-10 minutes.

A good enough pub, very spacious and amazing for those wanting to watch some sport. They have blue moon and punk IPA on tap which is great. But do not order food. I'm only going on the roast I ordered, which was indescribably bad... But I will do my best. The chicken was dry and rubbery, the beef was leather, the mash was grainy and cold in places, the potatoes were a mixed bag with some powdery and almost chewy, the veg was clearly the cheapest frozen veg available, just tiny bits of carrot and peas basically.

Used to be a Spoons, now owned by Yates but it's pretty much the same. Food is cheap but plentiful, booze is also cheap. This place is often full of students.

I've lived in North Finchley all my life and the Tally Ho has always been a landmark of the area. Frankly it's a bit grim and this comes down to its clientele. Rarely have I felt comfortable drinking or eating here, on one occasion the beer garden was overrun with about 20 teenagers smoking illicit substances in broad daylight. The staff seem pleasant enough but the toilets are foul and you stick to the carpet.
